“Google Slides makes my MBR and QBR run smoothly”
What do you like best?

It has all of the features you need to create nice and simple presentations

You can add your company theme and save it as a template pretty easily

The collaboration with others also makes completing a presentation easy no need to send around the presentation and have everyone update and then save the latest version.

Whenever you add a graph or chart it will give you the option to link to excel, so when you update excel it will let you update in google slide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some features are a bit hard to find that in regular PowerPoint, you kind of has to scramble around to get to the feature, other than that it is great. I've never used the mobile app so I do know if it runs smoothly or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

“Half of my work is making good presentations and PowerPoint makes that easy”
What do you like best?

My main objective at work is making sure that people across different teams can communicate and collaborate with each other and have the tools available for doing that successfully and my second most important task is to onboard new team members to an ongoing project and for those tasks, a PowerPoint within a quick meeting is usually the way to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I was never a fan of using Web Applications if a Desktop version is available and I really hate that if someone else shares you a file to present but not to edit or save you can only open it on the browser. I'm already good at presenting PowerPoint but using a browser isn't the same. I have my shortcuts and my air mouse configured for PowerPoint and being forced to use the web version is just plain annoying, Microsoft please do a view-only mode at the Desktop version, every time I need to present from the web version my stress levels go thru the roof. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Being good at presenting can literally make or break a job interview or a promotion, take the effort to do it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Easy affordable employee contact solution”
What do you like best?

Quickly and easily send text and/or phone broadcasts to employees and vendors from your desktop, laptop or even cell phone in seconds, see who has received it, who hasn't, who has unsubscribed, and know that you've communicated quickly and effectively on important broadcasts when seconds count. I also like being able to create distinct contact groups to send to easily. You can also draft messages in advance so they send at specific times in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I would like the ability to be able to add more content in texts without certain carriers dividing them into multiple messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you need to get ahold of people quickly and easily this is a great solution; not super sophisticated or glamorous but easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's been much easier to contact employees immediately who we know are less likely to review their email and know that we'll be able to get ahold of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Easy to use and they are always updating and improving”
What do you like best?

I really enjoy using Breeze. When contributions are made on line using banking, credit card or text, the information is posted to the appropriate family account which is really nice. This way all I have to do is pull a report and post the total amount into QuickBooks. I have easy access also to membership, addresses, phone numbers and can run labels for the membership which is also great. I could send statements via email, but at the moment some of the members don't use computers, have email addresses, so that is not the route I use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I hope some day the quarterly and end of the year statement will be available to download into pdf form, although their template they have set up was easy to implement my logo into and I can change wording to some extent. Some of the changes, however, I would need to have more IT experience in order to space columns which if I could download info into pdf and then WORD would allow me more control. The statements look okay but I am not particularly pleased with columns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

When we need to keep up with what membership has pledged, Breeze has a great set up and all I have to do is enter the first pledge amount and it maintains each contribution and deducts so when someone asks how much of their pledge is outstanding, like at the end of this year is happening, then the information is right at my fingertips. When I needed membership labels it is easy to run. On line giving, also works great to apply their giving, as noted above and has a great set up for notifying me if the way someone's name on their contribution does not match the name in Breeze, I get a notice of an unassociated contributor and I can quickly associate them with their account. Reports are run in addition to the statements so we know where we are in pledges versus contributions, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Creative with Ease”
What do you like best?

I like the animations that I don't need to spend time orchestrating.

Color schemes are nice and relatively easy ability to upload photos. (Could be better like Google slide can insert URLs).

I like that you can make Prezi's public, as teachers, sharing prezis and making them available to students who were absent is ideal for making sure everyone has access to the content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I dislike the lack of variety in themes.

Less usability in inserting content, like photos or video.

I know it's because of all the data in the animations and creativity. But presentations can take a long time to load and lag while presenting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The less slides, the less time there is to load the presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's helped my students make creative presentations for various units I teach and it also helps my students think about ideas in a linear/cyclical or tree branch approach depending on content and theme.

Frankly, lack of funding for educators makes it hard to justify paying for premium content. That isn't your fault, but it is a thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is rare to discover and remain with online software that continues to meet an organization's growing needs. Visme rose to the challenge. As a five-year subscriber, Visme has evolved from a utility platform for just one of my marketing communications needs to an online content development arsenal ready to deploy for any marketing communications tactic. Visme's functionality, diversity of templates, flexibility, and adaptability have surpassed expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Minimal, if any, dislikes other than there's a slight difference in the visual quality of downloaded or print elements, which may require further edits/adjustments to the original document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

While Visme powered the production of quality presentations, reports, and forms, it now serves a diversity of content needs, including videos, social media, and website creative. “We LOVE using Flocknote!”
What do you like best?

This is the best way to get the word out to the parish or any sub-group! It works great for Religion Programs, Bible Studies, Men's/Women's groups and any group you can think of! We have had more and more groups that want to get involved to communicate information! Even our retirees love getting updates through Flocknote, it's so easy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes you have people that don't get an email, but it's usually just a setting on their end that needs adjustment. Anytime I think it would be nice to add something to Flocknote, they're usually a step ahead in development! They are very active in development and moving forward to new enhancements! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Communication is SO important and this has benefited us so much to reach out to busy parents and parishioners. I am the Youth Minister at our parish and this allows us to reach the whole group with one quick text or email. We can also get a specific message to one grade level. There are times that weather can change or cancel an event and this is an efficient way to get the word out quickly! Gone are the days of a calling tree and worrying if everyone got the message! “We have utilized DocSend to help protect our documents as well as commissions in PPE”
What do you like best?

How easy it is for us to create new spaces for new products and suppliers that we work with. Additionally, the format of how the documents are visible when we share links is one of the things that I love coming from a design background. Additionally, the lead capture and NDA portion of this makes it a much more secure way for us to share what we are doing and retain our sensitive information along the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It is difficult to pull the contacts in a clean format. Would love to be able to export a .csv

Would also be very beneficial to find a way to integrate our DocSend list to a CRM that organizes them such as Pipedrive or Hubspot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you need to send sensitive files this is absolutely a great way to do so, and would highly recommend using this platform. We utilize the platform every single day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Top Church Presentation Software Result from Presentation

“Like powerpoint but better for presenting in MacOSX”
What do you like best?

It works better than PowerPoint even when the presentation was created in Powerpoint, and it is a lot more intuitive for apple users, it works like the rest of the applications on the Apple ecosystem, especially amazing since you can control it from an iPhone and a MacBook at the same time in case you decide to switch devices for any reason and it is really hard to accidentally exit the presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Presenting in Keynote is far superior, editing not so much, font missing is a way too common experience and the simplicity can be a limitation, everything that can be done in PowerPoint can be done in Keynote, but it takes longer since the amount of tools on screen is limited, great to avoid clutter and for presenting, but the tradeoff is editing speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

As a Mac user is far better than any other presentation software in my opinion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Using TIC is such a simple process. Very easy learning curve. Saves us time and energy when communicating with our church. Instead of making hundreds of phone calls to get information out we can easily connect with everyone with the click of the mouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I love that planning center registrations works well with Calendar and planning center people. It helps us to keep track of the events that our people are going to over time and let’s us track engagement. It also works easily with the Church Center app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some of the event creation is a little cumbersome especially if you have to create multiple events that are similar or a reoccurring event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Like all planning center products this works best with their family of products planning center registrations has been a great way for us to help introduce registrations for services that have never had registrations in the past. It works well with the Church Center app so it’s easy for people to register for events and stay updated on any changes. It integrates excellently with the check in system from planning center and makes it easy for us to manage Check-Ins on Sunday morning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Especially with Covid we needed a way to have our people register for Sunday morning gatherings rather than just showing up so we can keep a better count on the numbers in the room for safety. This has been a huge way to help us solve that problem Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We had been using MPDX and other donor management tools, but they were not in sync with our finance software, so they did not show a live balance. “Excellent Easy To Use Giving Platform”
What do you like best?

We just rolled out planning center giving as a new giving platform. We integrated it into a church that by and large did not have a high percentage of online givers. We jumped from 30% online giving to almost 70% online giving with it a month. The platform is really easy to use and easy to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Really nothing at this point. There are a few things that you have to get right early on in the administration set up side to make it easy to use on the user end but overall it is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used to use a cloud storage service, but my brochures would be out of date. Now I have them all easily accessible and up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I wish I had the ability to load documents myself. It would be nice to see user engagement for my quotes. You may be able to do this, but my company does not allow it. The only other minor dislike is that there isn't a back button. There are times where I'll go into a category then a sub category and then into a document. It would be nice to be able to press a back button to go back up a sub category. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
