**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I genuinely have fun creating monthly content in a newsletter format for our corporation. The options provide fun ways to engage our readers and the platform is pretty easy once you get started. 

My Workshop contact, Josh Hrabik, is extremely helpful and quick to respond to any of my questions. I like that I have a human to connect with who cares about my experience as well as my audience. 

I love the data that we can attain, the ability to clone, and the ease in finding answers. Lastly, I feel confident in our contract with Workshop knowing that they continue to upgrade and enhance and features! It seems that they really do care about staying on top of what their clients need.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The only thing I can think of is needing some more optioins when it comes to surveys. I bet Josh would have the answers for me though.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've wanted to connect directly with Designers across the nation and this finally provides us the platform to do so!

There is nothing at this time I would say I dislike about Workshop.

The probelm Workshop is solving is distributing mass amounts of internal emails in a short time with high-quality formatting. They make life easier!

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

What I like best about Workshop, is of course how easy it is to use and navigate. There was hardly any "Learning Curve" time when transitioning to this product. Being a Workshop client for 2+ years, I've also come to love how much support we have. Virtually any time of day, IT or my Account Manager are ready with answers, solutions, or ideas. I would say I am a "hands on" (and maybe even needy) client, yet, every time I have an idea or question, I am always greeted with grace, ideas, and sincere interest.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I do not believe I can definitively say I have any dislikes about Workshop. We've of course encountered IT hiccups along the way; though, none of the times have been detrimental or disruptive to my workflow. Whenever we've been met with problems or errors in the system, we've always been MORE impressed by the solution-driven staff who is there and willing to quickly address the issue.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop is the solution for our Internal Communications platform, communication performance tracker, and communication record keeper. We are able to easily make emails that are attractive and engaging. We have data on how our emails perform that is later shared to executives to prove department impact. And we are also able to use Workshop as an Archive for past messaging.

Workshop allows me to create impactful messages, integrating images, videos, gifs, and more. Most importantly, it provides me with valuable analytics to drive continuous improvement.

Honestly, I can't think of one. Every time I have had an "I wish Workshop had (fill in the blank)" moment, their next update solved my problem. They stay on top of communication trends and needs, and make the platform even better through continuous improvement.

I enjoy that it syncs with our active directory, that we can send emails on behalf of other people and that it is email tool  focused on employee communication rather than extenral email communication.

Some of the reporting does appear to be working correctly.

Allowing us to produce a digital newsletter.

The simplicity. The fact that you can just drag and drop components and create a fully coded emailer.

Nothing as such. I was able to create newsletter from scratch and by using the editable templates.

We are able to communicate with a large group and have it be a lot more interesting than just a straight email.  Lots of graphics and templates to choose from.

Only issue is that when you set up background images they do not show up in the actual email.

Workshop makes it easy to put emails together in a way that they look very nice. It's easy to pick the content blocks and add information. Being able to have distro lists is super helpful.

I wish there was a way to link to external articles but have those articles live in workshop.

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is one of the most user-friendly email marketing platforms I've ever used. It employs drag-and-drop modules that make creating and editing templates a breeze. Brand customization is easy to add as well with plenty of options to add your own personal touch to fonts, colors, etc. Our team especially loves the Pulse Survey option, as it's a fun way to engage employees and collect feedback in an efficient and relevant manner. Workshop's team is also extremely friendly and always willing to hop on a call to help resolve an issue or discuss a new platform feature. Finally, the email engagement results are incredible - it's the main reason why we chose Workshop. They are so detailed and are provided in an attractive and easy-to-download PDF format, as well as in spreadsheets, which makes data collection an easy task.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I wish there was an option to include polls directly in Workshop - as a workaround, we use Microsoft Forms.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We send out weekly newsletters to our employees. For the longest time, we weren't receiving ANY sort of insights or email analytics on these communications, so it was difficult to gauge what content employees were most interested in, or if they were even engaged and reading the newsletters at all. Workshop has not only instilled the confidence in our team that a majority of our employees ARE in fact opening our newsletters, but that they are also engaging within them.

How easy it is to use. Truly the most user friendly platform. Also how easy it is to create dist lists.

Nothing! Workshop is the best tool that our team uses.

Time and capacity. Workshop is the easiest tool to use. It saves us hours each week compared to our other email sending platforms. When your team is small, but pushes out a lot of content, this is crucial. We love Workshop.

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

What I like best are the people, their responsiveness, and their ability to problem-solve and create solutions. From a product standpoint, the most valuable tools, as a internal comms manager, are the insights available with the product sends (clicks, reads, time-spent in read) and the auto-sync to the list's, which has saved a ton of time, while helping uphold accuracy.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There are If I were able to make improvements to the tool I would add spell-check to the email buildout, and create the ability to re-send a communication (without having to create a new version). I would also beef up the dashboard to provide a more robust "comms calendar" option re: the planning phase.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop has provided us the ability to track our communications in a easy-to-use platform that is always improving. I believe Workshop is headed in the right direction, and their continual adjustments / improvements to the marketplace requests are good.

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I loved the flexibility of format to customize to the many types of communication I sent. I also loved the analytics. The customer service team was always right there when I had a question, and they were quick to implement change where they could. Additionally, the newsletter full of ideas they send was always beneficial!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The photo storage/filing/resizing was a challenge, and archived issuse would "lose" the attached photos if they were moved.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking who has opened communications is crucial. Being able to resend to the audience that did not open the first time, and being able to generate data for leadership about open rates was huge.

Sometimes when I add an image or duplicated and image and replace it, both images are not the same size even though padding is the same. I'm not sure how to fix it.

The integration was seamless, and the team was very helpful in making sure we integrated fully with our HRIS. The interface is extremely easy to use and simple but with many features! The ongoing customer support is always spot on and extremely helpful.

I have not experienced any downsides when using Workshop.

The integration with our HRIS allows for automatically updated distribution lists. The ability to design emails and include videos, pictures, etc., allows employees to be more engaged.

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is seriously a game-changer for us! I'm constantly blown away by how this tool solves our needs and keeps getting better with each update. The Workshop team's customer service is next-level awesome—they're always on the ball and super responsive. And let me tell you, using Workshop is a breeze for both admins and end users. No headaches or complications here!

The platform is stacked with cool tools that really make our emails special. We're talking about things videos, gifs and they've even got this new AI integration in Beta mode (we're dying to try it out!). Pulse surveys have been a great new feature too for us. 

Another thing I absolutely love is how Workshop seamlessly syncs up with our AD profiles. We can be confident that our messages are hitting the bullseye.

The price point for this product is incredibly reasonable. I love how they worked with us on budget and don't overcharge for this tool. It allows smaller companies to communicate professionally with employees without breaking the bank.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Overall, Workshop has met our needs quite well. However, one area where we've encountered challenges is with reporting. It would be beneficial to have access to more individual user data. Fortunately, the Workshop team has made efforts to address this by integrating campaign-based tools like individual engagement scores. While there's still room for improvement in terms of more comprehensive data, it's worth noting that we've already benefited from the existing features.

On a smaller scale, there are a couple of user experience aspects that could use some refinement. For instance, photo management could be more user-friendly, and it would be great if text could wrap around images more seamlessly. These are relatively minor adjustments that would enhance the overall user experience.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had issues with sending emails to the correct users because our previous tool didn't sync with AD. This has solved all of those issues and does so seemlessly and efficiently. It allows us to get robust data on our emails that we previously didn't have access too and have found a lot of value in. Plus, our emails look pretty!

It is very easy to use. They provide templates or you can build your own. The customdr support is great, too.

Really nothing! We haven't had any issues and when we had questions, they walked us through it.

Allowing us to communicate better across the company, even for those that don't have emails. Also allows us to send birthday messages and other employee recognition messages.

I love how easy it is to use and the exciting features. It makes creating internal comms emails enjoyable and our company loves receiving them. We have been able to collect crucial data while making our employees smile.

I am looking for more AI integrations which it sounds like they just launched. I'm curious to trying that, that would be the only thing that is missing right now.

Workshop is solving the problem of efficient internal communications. This is benefitting us because it's an easy way to launch an internal newsletter without the hassle of changing tags through an external email platform.

I've noticed that edits aren't dynamic - if you want to edit a template, you'll need to update any associated emails also

One of Workshop's best features is how easy it is to use branded templates for longer form content. They simplify every part of the UX so comms people can do their best work.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The platform is in its infancy, as far as features, but the team behind the build of adding a more robust experience is why I trust the partnership with them and the direction they're headed.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop's team is responsive, and they listen to every morsel of feedback you provide. And they actually take the feedback and infuse it into future features and new product launches. The platform wouldn't be nearly as effective if it wasn't for the team's responsiveness.

It's a newish product, so they are still developing some features, but they're very receptive to suggestions.

Workshop is super intuitive! Workshop offers to build 5 free custom templates when you start, but you don't need them because it is so easy and intuitive. 

Think: no more training people on how to use the software or needing support to make the perfect design.

Testing is effortless. I am constantly using the preview mode to tweak the design, and you can easily click back and forth between the two. The UX on this software is perfect! And they frequently add new features to make it even better without making drastic changes to the layout. 

Think: no more toggling between email, browser, and phone to ensure a dynamic (mobile-friendly) design. 

The data is easy to digest. It takes less than 2 minutes to evaluate the success of an email or a campaign. You can tell that the team really thought about how they displayed the data, which is a huge time saver!

Think: no more downloading a CSV to pull the data for a malleable display. It's built into the software that way!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Nothing! I've worked with Constant Contact, Staffbase (Bananatag), and Mailchimp, and none of these compare to Workshop's software, service, and cost. If you are on the fence, I suggest starting a trial. You will quickly learn that you cannot live without this convenience. And the support you receive from their team is absolutely amazing!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My current company didn't have anything like this. It was old school email with an embedded image. When I started, I generated ideas for campaigns, quarterly newsletters, and ERGs. We needed a tool (platform) like this to help them be creative, engage their peers, and genuinely communicate in an engaging way. Workshop has literally changed the way we communicate for the better here, AND people love it (the surveys from Workshop tell us so)!

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The ability to create polished communication templates that can be customized while also maintaining a consistent brand image. We are a team of about 130 people working from across Canada and the US and we initially onboarded Workshop as a tool for our company newsletter, to help keep our team connected. As messages have gone out, other teams have reached out to ask if they can use Workshop for other communications that are going out both within their teams or to the wider company. It's been an extremely helpful tool for us to ensure that the messages going out are on brand and going out at times when they are likely to be read.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

We've had a few hiccups with the Slack integration and reporting data but the team at Workshop was extremely responsive and helpful to resolve any issues that came up. As we bring more people in our studio onto the platform, it would be helpful to have different permission levels so that message drafts would not be visible to all users as the default. This is a feature that Workshop has let us know they're working on and we're looking forward to seeing what else they do to continue improving the platform.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing email volume - As a distributed company, we're always working to improve on our asynchronous communication and reduce the number of meetings in our calenders and streamline the volume of emails we send and receive. Workshop's analytics are helpful to identify if a message is being read and by which audiences, to help us create targeted messages. 

Engagement - the survey function and ability to include different forms of content including images and videos helps us build messages that will engage our employees. 

Brand consistency - the templates function helps us ensure that the messages going out are consistent in length, format and branding.

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The ability to easily create beautifully branded and impactful communication content is Workshop's best asset, in my experience.  From strategic communication to simple and fun content, delivering communication that delights our internal stakeholders is a rewarding experience!  Also important to note that the white glove service the Workshop team provides in effectively setting up, training, and ongoing feedback for enhancements is second to none. Nothing to dislike.  We are planning to integrate our internal directory as we intend to expand the solutions' use to more functions and business stakeholders.

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Ease of use! I have only been an active Workshop user for 2 months now, and I have already successfully built and sent a few emails on my own. I have also been able to have Workshop onboard 2 other team members to send emails to our team as well. The usability is great, and if I ever have any questions at all, Kaitlin on the Workshop team is incredibly helpful and detailed in her follow-up and support. Workshop has also helped design email templates for our team (which was such a huge time saver - and they look amazing!) while also enhancing templates I've created on my own. I would highly recommend using this tool for your internal communication emails!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

They're still figuring out a few tiny details as it relates to file management within the platform. You're not able to manage your file library unless you're actively in a drafted email currently. It doesn't get in the way of sending out designed emails (which is the goal!) but I do know their team has this feature on their horizon to implement in the future.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Internal comms consistency & sophistication. Before using Workshop, teams would send internal emails on the fly and in many different formats (plain text, Salesforce email, PDF attachment, etc.). With the launch of Workshop, we've been able to streamline our internal comms look & feel with beautifully designed emails that engage our employees more and keep them engaged! 
2. Analytics. We didn't track any analytics before, so we're still in the process of understanding what resonates best with our employees. After another month or so of using Workshop and keeping a close eye on the data they provide, we can use that to inform our internal comms strategy at Home Chef - something we haven't had before.

Workshop has already made a significant impact on the quality of our internal emails. Before Workshop, creating our weekly newsletter meant drafting in Google Docs, sending to another team to design and build the email, and multiple, clunky rounds of revisions before sending. Now we can create visually appealing emails quickly and efficiently, which gives our team more bandwidth to take on more projects. On top of that, having real-time analytics has been a game-changer for honing our internal comms strategy.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Since Workshop is still fairly new on the scene, there are a few kinks here and there. But in our experience, none were deal-breakers, and all were handled as soon as we let the team know.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop gives our team the ability to create visually appealing, interactive emails without relying on anyone outside of our team. Not only that, Workshop's templates and easy-to-use tools save us valuable production time. But the biggest benefit for our team is having the robust analytics tools. Being able to track opens, clicks, and read rates—split out by individual emails or long-term campaigns—is valuable collateral when tracking engagement and comms performance.

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

User Experience
• The tool is incredibly easy to use because the design is intuitive and clean. I recently added two admins to our account and scheduled time to show them how to use it. I think we spent maybe 10 minutes walking through and they had it down.
• There are delightful little surprises throughout—like not having to click "upload" when you drop in a csv. It just does it for you. 
• Getting up and running and maintaining our account has been easy. The Workshop team had everything our IT and Security teams needed, and we were up-and-running quickly. Being able to integrate with our IT systems without having to maintain yet another system has been a big time save.

Customer Service
• I don't feel like 'just another customer' and have actual relationships with our account reps. They've taken the time to answer my questions and make sure I'm getting full use of all their features. It sounds trite, but they've helped our team function better.
• They request and act on feedback. The team genuinely wants to know what our experience is like and is always open to talk shop and ideate.

New Features
• They consistently roll out new features. The team seems to be super agile and responsive to what comms professionals need.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I'm struggling to come up with something here. Because it's a new product, there are some features they're still building out but everything on my wish list is in the product already or on the roadmap. Overall, great product that I definitely recommend.

Before Workshop, we had no data on engagement for our messages and had to manually great lists to narrowcast any emails. Having data and distribution lists have leveled up how our team operates.

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop has transformed our weekly internal companywide emails by providing more visually appealing content for our Squad (employees).  Workshop was the perfect solution to our needs! As a fellow startup, it was important that our internal newsletters were not too "corporate,"  and we were able to share our fun & fruity branding and nature (we love the GIF feature). The Workshop team is super supportive and respond in a timely manner. They have been availble right away from intial set up, to answer and setting up time to review and walkthough any questions! The new analaytics feature makes is an additional bonus to support with metrics and engagment levels!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

As Workshop continues to grow, I am excited to see new features rolled out. It would be great to have a system where two users can be working in the same email simultaneously or provide a historical edit trail so you can see who made edits when (similar to Google Docs). Overall, no complaints!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Workshop, we had no metrics on our existing internal company newsletter. It is awesome to see these metrics and even clicks per specific links!

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The ability to create templates for emails that need to go out daily is huge. For us Workshop Integrates with outlook, and we can use our Directory Distribution Lists and Groups right from the Workshop interface, making the process of sending both announcement and update emails quick, easy, and super-efficient. Workshop also has an analytics feature so we can see how many opens and average read time of our announcements are helping us understand what engages our audience and what they enjoy seeing the most!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There isn't much to dislike about Workshop. It does what they say it does the way its intended, very intuitive, and easy to learn. There are some minor features it could gain, but as it is a fairly new product, the development team is excellent to work with and willing to hear new ideas to help make their product better!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

StreamLine our daily announcement emails and makes them so much more appealing to look at as we can design templates and easily add pictures in the workshop interface and then the integration to outlook means we never have to leave there software!
