## About Workshop
Workshop is a modern, purpose-built internal communications platform that helps teams create, send, manage, and measure employee communications in one place — starting with email and extending to Microsoft Teams, Slack, SMS, and more. Backed by powerful AI and automation tools, Workshop helps communicators tackle the day-to-day more effectively: drafting on-brand emails, building dynamic audience lists, personalizing messages by role or location, and analyzing results so you always know what's landing. With Journeys, you can also automate personalized, well-timed sequences (onboarding emails, event follow-ups, benefits reminders, and more!) without adding anything extra to your plate. That means communicators can spend less time pushing messages out and more time focused on the strategy that actually moves people. When a message needs more room to breathe, Pages gives every communication a place to land. Communicators can build branded, mobile-friendly landing pages without any design or IT help, text them directly to frontline and deskless employees via SMS, and update them anytime without breaking a single link. It's the kind of flexibility that helps you reach 100% of your workforce, no matter where they work. Workshop also integrates seamlessly with Outlook, Gmail, SharePoint, Canva, and leading HRIS platforms, so your existing tools keep working the way they should. Most teams are up and running in just two to four weeks, and the impact shows up fast — whether you're a distributed organization trying to reach desk and deskless employees or a growing team that needs a smarter, more scalable way to communicate. That's why organizations like S&P Global, Aston Martin, Monster Energy, White Castle, and Meijer trust Workshop to reach every employee and prove the impact of their communications.

## Workshop Reviews
 ### 1. Incredibly Intuitive and Fun—Templates, AI Content Creation, and Seamless Canva Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is incredibly intuitive and fun to use, with built‑in templates, AI-powered content creation, and seamless integration with Canva that makes building materials faster than ever. It's easy-peasy to set up too and the team has been incredibly helpful in all aspects of support.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

My one small gripe? (and it's super small) You have to create a new block just to add bullets or a numbered list, you can’t drop them straight into the line you’re working on.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating consistent communication templates for our home office associates while being able to measure analytics, like sentiment, click‑throughs, and open rates, and understand how our teams consume content, whether on mobile or desktop.

 ### 2. Powerful but Overly Manual: Complex Interface with Many Capabilities

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love that rows (not content blocks :( darn) can exclude or include groups of recipients. While it adds to the complexity, it's a great way to limit some backend work for us internally. There's a lot of features and functionality to the platform which (comparatively to our last platform) is a great asset.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I hate how complex the interface is i.e. adding ROWS to add CONTENT to plug in XYZ, not ever being able to add a TEXT box but somehow having them in templates etc. It's all very manual and precise.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving a rinse/repeat system in place for us internally: newsletters, same-group emailing, formalized event communications etc.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Really appreciate you sharing this — thank you.

It’s great to hear the depth of functionality is making a difference, especially with more advanced targeting. That’s exactly where Workshop should shine.

At the same time, we hear you on the experience feeling too manual and complex. That balance between flexibility and simplicity is something we’re actively working to improve, and your feedback is spot on.

Thanks for being candid with us.

 ### 3. Quick and Easy Email Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marakesh J. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like how quick and easy Workshop is to use. I also appreciate having different list groups, which makes it easier to send out mass email communications. The initial setup of Workshop was really easy.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Templates could be easier to use

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop makes emails quick, ready, and aesthetically pleasing. It simplifies mass email communications with easy list management.

 ### 4. Incredible platform with incredible customer support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mollie P. | Owner/Founder, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The fact that we can sync it to our active directory is a game changer. We can confidently send content knowing we have the most up to date lists and contact information for our team members. It's an incredibly user-friendly platform - our entire HR team and other teams have all learned the platform quickly and easily. I also have to commend the customer service Workshop provides. From my very first interaction at a conference to the sales call to onboarding to my customer support team, it has all been seamless. Every Workshop team member has a great personality and goes above and beyond to help. The onboarding process and implementing it within our company was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The only downside is not having multiple sources of truth for our lists (i.e., HRIS and Active Directory); however, I know this is something the Workshop team is working on.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to reach our team members via email and text with the most up to date lists and contact information thanks to the 24-hour sync with our Active Directory.

 ### 5. Workshop Boosts Communication Strategy and Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Internal communicators know that it's SO difficult to measure our impact, so we'll take any advantage we can get. Through Workshop, we've been able to expand how we measure performance of our communications, which allows us to focus on the methods that work best for our team. Since implementing Workshop, we've been able to dial into our strategy more and spend our time working on the projects that matter, not having to worry about how we'll get the message out. Employees have taken notice of the levels of customization and templatization we've been able to deliver to our teams.

Over our first year, we've been especially grateful for the high level of support we've received as we've implemented and expanded our use of the platform. The team has also been very receptive to our feedback throughout the process.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Workshop has met most of our needs, but as a newer solution there are times where we find a few gaps in features that would be nice to have. They move quickly with releases, however, and anytime we've had a request the team has been very receptive to our feedback, so we feel confident they'll continue to innovate in the future.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past, we lacked a dependable method for evaluating our communications. Workshop has addressed this need, and it's evident from their direction that they are committed to further enhancing the ways we, as communicators, operate and demonstrate our impact and ROI.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> This is such a thoughtful review — thank you for sharing it.

Being able to measure impact and actually act on those insights is a big shift, so it’s great to hear Workshop is helping you focus on what works and spend more time on the projects that matter. And love that your employees are noticing the added level of customization and consistency — that’s a huge win.

Also means a lot to hear your kind words about our team. We really value that partnership and the feedback you’ve shared along the way.

Appreciate you being on this journey with us!

 ### 6. Intuitive Interface, Needs Better Email Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett B.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I enjoy the user interface and the design of Workshop. I find it to be very simple and easy to understand, and fairly easy to use. I find the system to be modern and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I'd like better integration for building emails, especially when it comes to inserting text or information. When I'm trying to create a list of items or action items, everything feels very segmented, and I wish it was a bit more streamlined into one operational phase.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop creates a centralized workflow, allowing me to communicate effectively and share consistent messages across teams.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Really appreciate you sharing this — thank you.

Great to hear the UI is landing as clean and easy to navigate. And also hear you on the email-building experience — especially around creating lists and keeping things flowing naturally. That kind of friction can add up.

Super helpful feedback for us as we keep improving things.

 ### 7. Effortless Newsletter Management for Nonprofits

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayme C.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like that the interface of Workshop is really simple. I also appreciate that the DL list serves get updated automatically, which is a big plus for me. I like the metrics feature because it helps in tracking who's opening the emails. Overall, it's just really easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

At times, the tools feel a little outdated. I feel like there could be more drag and drop.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop integrates well with our listserv, automatically updating it with new employee info. I can track who opens emails, ensuring employees get important HR info.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thanks for sharing this — really appreciate it.

Simple, easy-to-use, and one less thing to manage manually (those auto-updating lists matter more than they get credit for). Glad the metrics are helping you keep a pulse on engagement, too.

That’s exactly what we’re aiming for.

 ### 8. Easy and useful platform for internal communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

It’s very easy to use and straightforward to understand. It helps me create clean, branded internal emails without much effort. The landing pages look polished and work well on mobile, which is important for our audience. Text messaging is fast and useful for sending quick updates when timing matters. Overall, the ready-made templates and AI support save a lot of time and make it easier to stay consistent.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Limited customization in some templates.
Takes some time to learn all features. Otherwise everything seems great about it.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us send clear internal messages to employees. It improves our email design even when we don’t have dedicated design support, and it keeps employees informed and engaged. Overall, it makes communication faster, more organized, and easier to manage.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> This is so great to hear — thank you!

Glad Workshop is making it easy to create clean, on-brand emails without a ton of effort (that’s exactly the goal). And love that the landing pages and mobile experience are holding up — that part really matters.

Thanks for taking the time to share this!

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

A simple but effective closing activity that could lead to identify the learning point or outcomes for participants and measure the change in their behavior.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Users face invoicing issues, unable to add missed notes and find the layout limiting for service separation.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

customer communication

 ### 10. Effortless Newsletter Creation, User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maggie W.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like that Workshop's UI/UX is straightforward and clean, yet it's able to perform almost any task we need. It eliminated the inconsistency between audience machine, platform, and browser. The building process is simple and fast, and it doesn't involve any code. The initial setup was very easy; I had no problem at all.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I'm still learning how to improve the visual aspect by practicing more with Workshop.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop eliminates inconsistencies across machines, platforms, and browsers. It simplifies the process with no coding needed, making the building process fast.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> This is a really thoughtful way to put it — thank you.

Clean and straightforward without sacrificing capability is a tough balance to get right, so it’s great to hear that’s been your experience. And the consistency across devices and platforms is a big one — internal comms shouldn’t change depending on where it’s opened.

Also love hearing that setup felt easy right out of the gate. That’s exactly how it should feel.

 ### 11. User-Friendly Analytics and Transparency with Fantastic Partners

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love the data and analytics and transparency behind using workshop. I think it's very user friendly, templates are helpful, and the partners I've been working with are fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I think the only struggle I had wasn't a workshop struggle- is was more of an issue with another platform working with workshop.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is giving us transparency into the efficacy of our communications.
Additionally it is making it easier to automate our communications which allows me to spend my time on other areas in the business.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> This is so great to hear — thank you!

Really glad the analytics and transparency are giving you the visibility you need, and that everything feels easy to use along the way. And the shoutout to our team means a lot — we care a lot about that experience.

Appreciate you sharing this!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I would like to be able to CC on email sends and have more widgets for formatting and designing templates.

I use Workshop to send corporate emails. It solves tracking email analytics, email formatting issues, and is easy to use.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Gambling & Casinos | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is very simple to use, it has a beautiful interface and allows easy, customizable options for creating and designing emails. I can send out mass emails with peace of mind knowing that it will successfully reach employees.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

This is not a major critique, but it would be helpful to have a more comprehensive analytics recap each month, breaking down specific campaigns and metrics.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop allows us to blast emails to broader groups with customized designs as opposed to Outlook or another platform.

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is very user-friendly and I love the analytics capabilities to report back to leaders on our content engagement.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I wish certain features were not an add-on, such as Pages or surveys.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop allows us to reach our deskless employees at a nonprofit in the hunger relief space. Our staff is dedicated to the mission, and they need up-to-date information on our initiatives and work. I love that I can share updates by email and QR code to reach employees on digital signage.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for the great review! We’re thrilled to hear that Workshop’s been easy to use and that the analytics are helping you show the impact of your communications.

We really appreciate the feedback on add-ons like Pages and surveys — that’s super helpful for our team as we keep improving the platform. Thank you for choosing Workshop!

 ### 15. Effortless Email Communication with Impressive Templates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** P H.

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like that with Workshop, I have a standard innovative template for sending emails, which is visually impressive and reflects our company standards and branding. I appreciate that I can send emails directly from Workshop. The presentations look nice as well, and the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Nothing for the moment

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop provides a standard, innovative email template that visually impresses and aligns with our company standards. It allows me to send emails directly, and the presentation looks nice.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> “Visually impressive and easy” — we’ll take that all day 🙂

So glad the templates are doing their job and helping you keep everything aligned with your brand (without starting from scratch every time). And love hearing that setup was easy — that’s how it should feel.

Thanks so much for sharing this!

 ### 16. Incredibly Easy to Use with a User-Friendly Design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

It’s incredibly easy to use, with a very user-friendly design and overall experience.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

While there are a few design limitations, it’s very easy to navigate and use overall.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop helps my team communicate all of the various marketing initiatives and events we run to our global sales and CSM teams, so everyone stays in the loop and connected on what’s going on. It’s also easy for my team to template and send out, and it requires very little admin time.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you for sharing this!

Really glad it’s feeling easy and intuitive to use — that’s exactly what we’re aiming for.

— Cassandra @ Workshop

 ### 17. Easy, streamlined experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caroline W. | Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop has improved our internal organization around messaging and forced us to be more strategic about how we approach internal communications. The calendar feature has allowed us to plan ahead and not inundate team members with messages.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

It would be a huge value add if Workshop offered a RSVP/event feature within the platform. As a company, we offer a lot of events and it would be helpful to house everything in one platform versus our current method of linking out to an external planning platform.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop has helped us create more consistent communications in a format that allows team members to recgonize what is expected of them. Also, it has forced us to become more organized and intentional with our communications approach.

 ### 18. Great and Intuitive Program -- minor improvements could make a huge difference in user friendliness

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

It is generally a really intuitive program. I was able to go in with very limited prior experience and successfully work out of templates easily. I also like how much of the program works in a drag and drop format, so I can easily move things around while I work. This was a really easy program to pick up and learn, and I feel confident I could easily pass along this knowledge to someone else and teach them to use this program as well. I am the first person outside of our marketing team that we launched the ability to use workshop for, an I am greatly enjoying it!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I dislike that I cannot add a background color to a section unless there is content within that section. I think for me, it would be easier to visualize the final product if they would just allow that placeholder color to be put there. I also like the photo and gif options included, but wish there were more of them. I also wish I could resize photos by simply pulling on the corners or sides of them the way you an in many other applications. Having to go back in select the photo again and then edit the size there makes it really difficult to get photos to be the size you would like on the page.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am utilizing Workshop to send our weekly HR internal newsletters. I really enjoy all of the campaign features that allow me to see how many people are viewing this, clicking articles and engaging with the content overall. It is really good for a weekly newsletter because it is really simple to pull up the previous weeks and work out of that.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re so glad to hear that Workshop has been easy to learn and that you’re enjoying creating your HR newsletters with it. It’s awesome to know the templates and drag-and-drop tools are helping make things faster and simpler to build.

We really appreciate your thoughtful feedback about photo resizing and background colors — that kind of insight helps us keep making Workshop even better.

Thank you again for being part of the Workshop community! 💙

 ### 20. Excellent, easy to use internal comms platform!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Incorporating Workshop into our internal communications has been a breeze and absolutely wonderful. For the first time, we actually have data that we can track, to see how our newsletters are performing! The intuitive design features make drafting my weekly emails easy, and the template feature saves me time each week. As one of the main users of the platform in our organization, I'm in Workshop every week drafting, planning, executing comms, and exporting data. We've only been using the platform for about 6 months, and it's provided us many insights!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

We've come across some limitations in the template/design builder, but they appear to be more of a Gmail issue than Workshop (certain fonts not rendering appropriately). There is also some specific data I would love to have available to export directly from Workshop, but it is not, so I've been trying to create some separate scripts on my end to get me the data I need.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Workshop, we never had any data available to us on our internal email communications. Now, we can pull that data and share out with leadership, allowing us to track trends and optimize content over time.

 ### 21. Intuitive to Use and Generates Insights with Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Libraries | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

While we're still at the beginning of our internal comms journey, integrating this tool to level up our internal emails has been a game-changer. The platform is very easy to use, accessible, and gives us data that helps inform our strategies. The templates makes visually appealing emails easy, and the data allows for seamless retargeting.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

One small thing that would be helpful is to have additional tagging functionality on the emails (or allow a single email to be part of more than one campaign when it comes to looking at analytics). For example, we have a large facilities project on the horizon that we sometimes talk about in standalone emails and other times as one item in a larger newsletter. It would be great to have these emails tagged as both part of our newsletter campaign and our project campaign.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have 13 distinct physical locations and Workshop helps us make sure everyone is on the same page and staying connected with the larger system.

 ### 22. Best internal email tool out there, based on extensive research and usage

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Web-based and works like an email marketing tool, rather than integrating with Outlook
Ability to have the emails come from anybody and replies go to anybody. You can truly send on behalf of senior leaders
Syncs very easily with HRIS data (for distribution lists)
Receive detailed data on each individual email recipient, which can then be grouped by your existing email distribution lists
Extensive formatting/design options, including ability to make it look like just a regular Outlook email
Implementation was pretty seamless
Customer service is not really ever needed, but it's good when you need it
More features if you want to pay for them (SharePoint/Teams integrations, improved customer service, embedded surveys, audience segmentation for different rows of emails, time zone sending, data API, etc.)

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There is one minor annoying footer at the bottom of the emails that I haven't been able to get rid of based on the way our email security is set up ("This email has been scanned by the Symantec Email Security.cloud service")

Sending a reply to an existing email is a little manual/cumbersome

The emails have fixed widths and so will not look 100% like a normal Outlook email

I wish I could customize the data reporting a little more (though there is an API if you pay for it)

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to manage all internal emails on my own without executives needing to send their own emails
Getting detailed data on internal emails
Delivering formatted messages

 ### 23. Easy to use and great for internal communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I really appreciate how easy Workshop is to use. The templates save me a ton of time, and everything feels really straightforward. Even when I’m juggling a lot, I can get a nice-looking message out quickly without overthinking it. It’s made internal comms feel more manageable and way less stressful.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The builder can be a little limiting when you’re trying to make something more custom or move elements around. It’s not a huge issue, but there are moments when it takes a few extra clicks to get things just right. Still, overall it’s a solid tool that keeps improving.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop has helped us bring everything into one place. We have a lot of different internal audiences, and it’s been great to have one platform where we can message everyone without bouncing between tools. It’s also a huge plus that our lists stay up to date automatically since it’s connected to our intranet — we don’t have to worry about sending something to the wrong group or managing lists manually. It’s made things more streamlined, more secure, and honestly just easier to manage.

 ### 24. Extremely Helpful Dynamic Lists with Flexible, Intuitive Email Targeting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The automatic/dynamic lists are extremely helpful and one of the main reasons we moved to Workshop. The process of creating one is intuitive and it gives you lots of flexibility to slice and dice. Moreover, when sending the email, you have the option to include (or remove) one-off people who may have been missed by the filters.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There are still some tiny things that could be improved, such as formatting within blocks (and the ease in which to make formatting changes). A small price to pay for an otherwise great platform.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communicating to the correct audience, at a time that works for them.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> We're delighted to hear that our automatic/dynamic lists and email targeting options are meeting your needs. Your feedback on formatting is valuable, and we'll strive to enhance the user experience. Thank you for choosing Workshop to improve your audience communication.

 ### 25. Easy to use, powerful results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hunter R. | Head of Customer Success Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop makes creating beautiful emails easy and accessible, with helpful integrations (like Slack) to help maximize the reach and impact of your content. The block editor is intuitive and even fun to use, making newsletter creation a breeze, while templating options support scalability across programs.

Performance metrics are clear, actionable, and provide valuable insights into key KPIs, helping teams continuously improve their communication efforts.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I don't dislike anything about Workshop.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop has created a tool for us to deliver team specific insights to the broader company, increasing visibility of impact our team is having with our customers, along with amplifying the voice of the customer program.

 ### 26. My Daily Internal Email Workhorse

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop's platform is clean and easy to navigate. I use it daily to build emails quickly with the drag and drop features. Implementation was smooth, and the Workshop team worked closely with our IT team to get us up and running. Support has been incredible; they're always super responsive and helpful. Overall, we integrated Workshop into our daily workflows quickly, and we would be lost without it!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

As a fairly new product, Workshop has its share of bugs. Sometimes the service does go down (although this is quite rare). In the early days, there were some annoying aspects of sending emails for approval that have been improved with product updates.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our leaders wanted to be more transparent with our 1,500 employees and communicate with them directly. Workshop allows us to send emails on their behalf that look great and are up to our brand standards.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> “My daily workhorse” — we love to hear that 🙂

So glad Workshop has become such a core part of your day-to-day, and that setup and adoption felt smooth from the start. And the shoutout to our support team really means a lot.

Also appreciate the honest feedback on bugs and early quirks. We’ve come a long way there, and we’re continuing to make things more reliable with every update.

Thanks for sticking with us and sharing this!

 ### 27. A solve for nearly all comms challenges!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

This is my favorite internal comms platform! A rare tool that balances cost with quality. Priced fairly for how easy to use it is, and how many features it has. We adopted the tool because it was easy to build emails and campaigns, and the analytics are stellar (with read times!). They take feedback and introduce valuable improvements over time. One example is you can change links after you send the email. This gives an extra layer of confidence to our comms team, who is always scared to hit "send" in fear of a broken link.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I can't think of anything, honestly. If the pricing wasn't so favorable, I'd maybe be disappointed about new add-ons that cost more, but that is typical and I can't really complain. :)

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ability to send emails on behalf of executives, ability to measure read times

 ### 28. Intuitive Email and Newsletter Design Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

It's very intuitive and easy to use, it makes designing and creating everything from a simple email to a newsletter easy.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

They're still working through some upgrades and changing pieces of the product somewhat regularly.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are making it easy to send to all of our team members quickly

 ### 29. Workshop is amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** garrett h. | Security analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

My experience with Workshop far exceeds my experience with similar apps! Easy to set up, easy to navigate with a very clean and user friendly UI. If you are done monkeying around with other apps try Workshop today!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

It's hard to say what I dislike about Workshop as it has exceeded expectations since we swapped over from MailChimp. If I could name something I dislike maybe it's the lack of control, you have with adjusting image sizes in certain situations.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Companywide communication of our Security program. keeping users informed and ready for anything that comes their way!

 ### 30. Easy to Use and Professional, But Collaboration Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Platform is simple to use. Newsletters look professional. Customer service is prompt. employee directory integration and metrics.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The platform does not perform when collaborating. Buggy issues in sharing templates and no more than 1 person can work in a template at the same time. Yet error messages do not inform so work is lost. Very frustrating. Customer support could be more sympathetic and not simply blame the user when issue is actually one with the platform.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing professional looking newsletters for staff engagement.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re so glad to hear that you find Workshop simple to use and that it’s helping you create professional, engaging newsletters for your team.

We really appreciate your honest feedback about collaboration and template sharing. We know how important real-time editing and smooth teamwork are, and we’re actively working on improvements to make collaboration more reliable and seamless.

Your input helps us continue to build a better experience for every communicator — thank you for helping us get there.

 ### 31. Workshop is a gamechanger

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catalin W. | Senior Internal Communications Coodinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop has removed so many barriers for us. Email is a critical tool for internal communication—but before Workshop, my company had no visibility into performance. As soon as we started using Workshop, we hit the ground running. We could finally measure the effectiveness of our efforts and make data-informed improvements, and also raise the bar for design and accessibility across our communications.

Now, we use Workshop for both broad and targeted communications. It lets us track engagement, gauge sentiment, and pace our messages to avoid overwhelming our teams. Implementing Workshop also surfaced inconsistencies across our systems, giving us the push we needed to clean things up and improve efficiencies and automations. Their support team has been fantastic—super responsive when issues come up, patient as we refine our systems, and always ready with helpful suggestions.

I can't say enough good things about Workshop! It's become an integral part of my job, and I genuinely enjoy using it. I'm really excited about features in their roadmap, too.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I wish there were more advanced reporting features to help us understand audiences across campaigns and emails. I know there is an API we could access, but a native feature would be huge.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Performance data, design & accessibility, and generally doing my job more efficiently.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Catalin, thank you so much for the positive review! We're so glad to hear how much the platform has helped increase the effectiveness of your communication and guide data-informed improvements! It's really exciting to hear how your using Workshop for both broad and targeted messaging.

We appreciate your feedback on reporting! We'll pass this along to our product team! In the meantime, if you ever want to explore the API options our team is happy to help!

Thank you again for sharing your experience and choosing Workshop to be your internal comms platform!!

 ### 32. Great Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellen L. | Marketing Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

As well as allowing us to create beautiful internal comms emails, Workshop has streamlined our internal comms output to allow teams to be self-sufficient and also make our working practices more efficient. It is easy to use and even easier to be onboarded onto and integrate with our existing systems. Our account managers are always responsive to questions and queries.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There are always upgrades we would like to see as users but for the most part, I have no complaints.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our graphics team was being bottlenecked with requests for engaging and beautifully designed internal comms emails that ended up being images inserted into an email. Workshop allows us to easily create HTML emails and track how effective our output is through analytics.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you for such a thoughtful review. It's great to hear that Workshop has helped your team streamline comms and work more efficiently across departments. We love knowing it's made onboarding and daily use smooth, and that it's become a tool your teams can rely on.

The shift away from design bottlenecks is something we hear often, so it's especially rewarding to know your graphics team is now freed up and you're able to create engaging HTML emails with ease. That kind of internal shift can really change how work gets done.

We also appreciate your note on upgrades. Hearing from day-to-day users helps us prioritize and improve, and we’re always listening. Thanks again for your partnership—we’re glad to be part of your internal comms toolkit.

 ### 33. Best comms tool for frontline team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Our team of transportation and truck drivers is dispersed all across the United States. We brought on Workshop almost two years ago and haven't looked back. Our team was constantly missing emails or communication we sent out but since we've brought on this tool we've seen significant increases in engagement and read times. Before we didn't have any data to truly show people were opening or reading our emails. One of the best parts about Workshop? Their team - from our customer success manager to IT to product, we've been able to get our questions answered fast and provide any feedback when needed. The team works fast, we even had one feedback request improved a week after us putting in the support ticket. We brought on SMS recently and found it to be game changer for our dispersed team. Our drivers love not having to log into their email to see important updates we are pushing out. We have recently been looking at getting another SMS line to allow HR to have different lines of comms to the company line.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I wish some features weren't always an upgrade, the team keeps pushing out really awesome features that would make my life easier but it comes at a cost (which I understand). Nonetheless, excited for the growth of Workshop and seeing what more we can do with it!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating streamlined internal comms for our dispersed team in multiple channels.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. It's great to hear how Workshop is helping your team stay connected across the country. Reaching a dispersed group can be tough, so it's encouraging to know engagement and read times have improved since you came on board.

We’re especially glad SMS is working well for your drivers. Removing barriers to important updates is exactly what we’re aiming for. And thank you for the kind words about our team—your feedback helps us move faster and build better, and it’s always motivating to hear it's making a difference.

We appreciate your note on feature upgrades too. That perspective is helpful as we think about future improvements. We're excited to keep building with you and supporting your team every step of the way.

Thanks again for being part of the Workshop community. We're so glad you're here.

 ### 34. Intuitive Platform with Outstanding Support and Solid Performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The platform is incredibly user-friendly with a clean, intuitive interface. What really stood out was the outstanding support we received throughout the entire sales process and onboarding. Everything was seamless with a smooth hand-off between teams. Everyone we've interacted with has been highly responsive and genuinely helpful.

The features are great, and everything works effortlessly, which has made adoption simple and fast. I also love the look and feel you can create with Workshop. It allows for professional, branded communications that actually feel engaging. On top of that, the analytics behind it are solid, giving us the insights we need to track performance and continuously improve.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The main downside so far is the lack of automation between Workshop and BambooHR, which would really streamline some of our internal comms processes. We're also currently waiting on two key updates: (1) the ability to automate sending work anniversary and birthday emails, and (2) the option to trigger automated email series (like a multi-email onboarding flow for new employees). The good news is that both features are on the roadmap and expected to launch by EOY at the latest. So far, the Workshop team has always delivered on their promises, so I’m confident these updates are coming soon.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improve communication flow
Provide much needed email analytics
Better digital employee experience & improve engagement

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! We're glad to hear that Workshop’s intuitive design, seamless onboarding, and responsive support have made such a positive impression. It’s great to know the platform has helped you quickly adopt branded, engaging communications—with the analytics to back it up.

We also appreciate your feedback on automation. You're right: deeper BambooHR integration and automated workflows are on our roadmap and expected by year-end. We're committed to delivering on these and will keep you posted as they roll out.

Thanks again for sharing your experience—we’re excited to keep growing with you!

 ### 36. Great Data Insights, But Needs More Customization and Better Integrations

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like the data insights on clicks and what people are clicking. It is fairly easy to use once you play around in there

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I wish there was more customization to it and also better integration with tools like CANVA. It is not overly easy to implement things like videos and hyperlinks

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is showing us great insights on clicks and what people are clicking which has allowed us to adjust our newsletter to get better results.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you for the review! We’re glad you’re finding value in Workshop’s data insights and using them to fine-tune your newsletters!

We really appreciate your feedback on customization and integrations. Good news — Workshop actually does integrate with Canva, so you can easily bring your branded designs right into your comms. You can view more about that and explore other integrations https://useworkshop.com/integrations/

 ### 37. A total game-changer for sending emails internally!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is user-friendly, clean, and aesthetically pleasing, both for those using the tool and for those on the receiving end of emails. I appreciate Workshop's helpful features, including the calendar overview for at-a-glance planning, campaign highlights, employee text messaging capabilities, and the free templates in the template library. The analytics and reports are great and ready to share as well!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There isn't anything I dislike about Workshop; it is an excellent tool for those looking for an internal email platform for their organization.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gone are the days of designing a newsletter in Canva, adding tracking links, downloading and saving it as a PDF, and sending it via Gmail to employees. Workshop makes it easy to design, send, track, and monitor internal newsletters all in one place (and they look great, too!). Texting employees, particularly frontline workers is also easier than ever with Workshop (and it's two-way).

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We're so glad you're enjoying Workshop’s clean design, planning tools, and campaign features—especially the calendar view, text messaging, and templates. It's great to hear the analytics and reports are hitting the mark too!

And we truly appreciate your kind words—knowing there's nothing you'd change means a lot. Thanks for being part of the Workshop community!

 ### 38. Streamlined Internal Communications with an easy-to-use interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love the Slack integration as it allows us to meet the team where they live with our internal communications! The slack message we send previews all the "Must-Read" highlights of the newsletter (similar to headlines) and encourages higher readership than the traditional email delivery method.

I like the interface and how easy it is to set specific campaigns to easy access. The fact multiple users can seamlessly work within the same dashboards makes collaboration easy.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

We have had a but of confusion around the analytics provided on the dashboard. When speaking with the workshop team, it seems as through it is due to the fact we are using Gmail and Slack and these (very popular) tools don't allow for accurate reporting. The team provided great support and removed the inaccurate portion of our dashboard after we flagged the issue.

Would be a great tool for traditional email communications if your team is on other platforms, but for those who use Slack & Gmail, delivery is awesome but analytics are limited/ not always accurate.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining comms internally and integrating slack communications with formal, branded content.

 ### 39. Easy to Use with Great Support, But Too Many Unnecessary Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mackenzie F. | Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Ease of Use, Customer Support, Ease of Integration

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing analytics for our internal communications and not allowing employees to unsubscribe

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thanks so much for sharing your feedback! We’re happy to hear that Workshop’s ease of use, integrations, and support have been a great fit for your team. It’s awesome to know the analytics are helping you get more insight into your internal comms, too!

 ### 42. Workshop is a Powerful Internal Comms Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina M. | Senior Communications Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is incredibly easy to use to build effective and engaging emails that also look visually appealing. It's also incredibly easy to manage distribution lists and create new groups to send targeted emails to specific audiences. The team is always supportive and easy to get in touch with if you need something. Integration and implementation were basically seamless, which is great since we use this product every single day.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about Workshop. There are occasional software glitches every now and then, which is expected with any platform. There are minor updates and suggestions I would make to the platform to enhance it for my specific experience, but I think overall it does a great job and saves a lot of time compared to other platforms.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating engaing emails that also have the ability to track detailed analytics to understand email performance and employee engagement.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Christina, thank you for your amazing review! We're so happy to hear that Workshop is making your life easier as you create engaging, visually appealing emails. Managing distribution lists and creating targeted groups can be a challenge, so we’re thrilled that Workshop has made this process seamless for you.

Our #1 goal is to simplify your workflow, and it’s great to know that both the product and our integrations are helping you every day. If you ever need anything, our support team is always here to help—don’t hesitate to reach out!

 ### 43. The go-to internal communications software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kara H. | Internal Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I'm obsessed with all things Workshop. From the moment I expressed interest in getting a quote, the entire team has been nothing short of incredible to work with. They provided all of the necessary security and IT documents I needed to get approval, the onboarding process was incredibly seamless and easy to use, and they ensured I felt comfortable enough to move ahead on my own. In my role, I use Workshop daily and it's become a critical tool in my work. Being able to provide metrics to our leadership team, track against our own progress, and customize our communications to match our branding has been a game changer. To this day, our account manager checks in frequently and even gave us a sneak peek of their 2025 product roadmap -- I'm a fan (and user) for life.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There isn't one thing I do not like about Workshop - their customer service is 10/10 and the tool's usability is a true WYSIWYG.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Workshop, our company used Viva Engage to communicate with employees. And although this method wasn't terrible, the analytics feature lacked what we needed. By using Workshop, I can see real-time data of open rates, click-rates, how users are looking at our communications, who has opened an email (and who hasn't), and I can re-target those who might have overlooked a communication without re-sending to someone who has already opened the email. This was a game changer for us (think: open enrollment comms!).

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Kara, “obsessed” is exactly the goal!! Thank you so much for the glowing review! We’re thrilled to hear that our team, the product, and the support you’ve received have all exceeded your expectations. From discovery and onboarding to ongoing support and learning, we’re with you every step of the way to ensure the best possible experience.

We’re just as excited as you are about our 2025 roadmap, and we can't wait to roll out more features and integrations to make your work even easier. Please keep sharing your thoughts and feedback—we’re always listening and using them to make things even better!

Thank you for choosing Workshop to enhance your daily work. We truly appreciate you!

 ### 44. Workshop: Elevating Our Internal Comms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth B. | Internal Communications Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop has been a game-changer for our Internal Communications team. Its intuitive interface and powerful analytics have completely transformed how we communicate company-wide. The drag-and-drop features make creating communications simple and efficient, while built-in stock images, GIFs, and translation tools streamline the entire process.

The ability to save templates and clone emails has significantly simplified the creation of recurring communications and newsletters.

Before Workshop, we had no visibility into how our messages were performing. Now, with user-friendly analytics, I can easily track employee engagement and leverage those insights to develop strategies that boost future engagement rates. Workshop hasn’t just improved how we communicate—it’s helping us communicate smarter.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Overall, I don't have any complaints about Workshop. If I had to change something, I would make the survey feature more customizable and expand the ability to make custom survey questions rather than just rating metrics.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop makes sending communications easier with the drag and drop building features, templates, translations and more. Our company has employees in numerous countries so the translations feature is a game changer. Not having to pay to translate every email has been money and time saving, allowing us to communication in real time with our international employees.

The metrics and analytics made a huge impact on our department. Having visibility to engagement metrics enables us to gauge the success of our campaigns and build strategy to further engagement in the future.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Elizabeth, thank you so much for your fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear how Workshop has been a game-changer for your Internal Communications team. It’s awesome to know that the intuitive interface, powerful analytics, and time-saving features like drag-and-drop, built-in media, and translation tools have streamlined your process.

The ability to save templates and clone emails is designed exactly to make recurring communications a breeze, and we're glad it's been such a helpful feature for your team.

It’s great to hear that our analytics are giving you the insights needed to drive smarter, more effective communications and boost engagement. Thank you for sharing how Workshop is making such a positive impact on your team’s success!

 ### 45. Ease of Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** adoherty@triagestaff.com D. | Front-End Web/Graphic Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop makes it so easy for me to create templates for teams and departments across the company. This ensures that our internal communication stays on brand while allowing others the freedom to create and send emails. The email builder is incredibly easy to use and enables me to design a variety of layouts without needing to write any code. My favorite part is the ability to edit for both desktop and mobile, ensuring our emails look great on everyone’s devices.

Overall, Workshop is constantly improving its product and adding features that make internal communication even easier and more streamlined.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The biggest downside I’ve encountered with Workshop is the lack of a way to view all emails that are not attached to campaigns and the inability to restrict some users from editing templates. Both of these concerns have been discussed with the Workshop team, and they were receptive to the feedback, so we hope to see these improvements implemented in the future.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luiber R. | Sr. Enginer, IT, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

We have been enjoying our experience with this platform for internal email communication. The feature we appreciate the most is how easy and effective it is to send email communications. The interface is intuitive, and the process of crafting and distributing messages is seamless, making it an excellent tool for keeping our teams informed.

Implementing this platform was a smooth and hassle-free experience. The documentation provided was exceptionally clear and well-organized, making the process straightforward. Each task was listed on a dedicated page with links to detailed instructions on how to complete each implementation step.

Customer support is top-notch. Although we have only needed assistance once during implementation, the response time was quick, and the process was hassle-free.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

One feature we would love to see added is the ability to send calendar invites directly or at least attach .ics files. This enhancement would allow us to communicate events more effectively.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform has been instrumental in helping us notify our users about new feature releases and other user-related changes within our IT organization.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Luiber, thank you so much for the positive review! We're happy to hear that Workshop has made internal comms seamless for your team! We appreciate your feedback regarding the ability to send calendar invites or attach .ics files. It is a great idea, and we've shared it with our product team as we continue to enhance Workshop's capabilities.

 ### 47. Perfect tool for internal communications pros to create branded emails

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob W. | Sr. Manager Corp. Comms/Internal Comms Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

VERY easy and intuitive to use if you're familiar with most any rows-based email system. The results are great, with extremely flexible customizations and branding options, media types, etc. The metrics are simple to generate reports if you set up your campaigns properly from the beginning. And if you don't? You can always go back and edit campaigns retroactively. In all, our whole team is thrilled with Workshop and our leadership team appreciates the metrics. The customer support team is always responsive. We use Workshop every day.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Aside from everyone in the organization wanting to use it? LOL. It would be good to have an option for "real" attachments vs. hosted, though it definitely makes sense from a bandwidth conservation perspective why it's structured as it is... just an occasional override would make high-security communications a bit easier.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The HTML formatting makes it easy to create beautiful newsletters with multimedia components. The "pulse survey" options provide instant feedback on newsletter articles and the metrics help us make ongoing improvements to our internal comms tactics.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback! We’re thrilled to hear that Workshop is easy to use and offers the flexibility you need for customization, branding, and media options. It's great to know that the metrics and reporting features have been so helpful, and that your team enjoys using Workshop every day!

We’re also glad to hear that our customer support team has been responsive and that the leadership team appreciates the insights. Thanks for the suggestion on attachments – we’ll keep that in mind as we continue to improve. We’re excited to support your ongoing success with internal comms!

 ### 48. Pleased with Our Long-Term Partnership

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt S. | Internal Communications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The ease of use and the template library. Our Client Success Team has stepped up to assist us with any issues that have come up.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Backend support with our SFTP Sync could be improved. I believe with our Client Success Manager, this will no longer be an issue moving forward.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop is offering us the ability to streamline our communications across the company from top to bottom. We've overall seen an increase in engagement and collaboration between teams.

 ### 49. Bi-monthly Newsletter

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer H. | Sr. Sales Enablement Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love how I can re-use sections to make the next newsletter easier. It super convenient to see the metrics and we can easily make a yearly campaign for ROI year after year. It's also nice that I can see who opened and clicked and use that for who we might need to reach out to for a follow up!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

This is probably user-error, but if I need to re-arrange the newsletter, I have a hard time. I think it is because I didn't set it up properly from the beginning! I would love to see MORE metrics, for example I see the clicks and the number of clicks per link...but WHO clicked those links. Unless I am looking in the wrong place!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a consistent place to make my newsletter and reach out to our program users about updates, tips and tricks.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you for your great feedback! We’re so glad to hear that reusing sections and tracking metrics has made your newsletter process more efficient, and that you're able to track engagement for follow-ups. It’s fantastic that Workshop is helping you create consistent newsletters and measure ROI year after year.

We’re excited that Workshop is helping streamline your communications and reach your program users effectively!

 ### 50. Workshop is helping to transform a non-profit's internal communications.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love that I can see analytics with every message we send through Workshop. This then allows me to see what pockets of staff we are missing with emails and determine other ways to ensure we are reaching those staff with our messaging.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I have not come up with a downside to Workshop yet!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop was the first tool we onboarded when developing an internal communications plan. It has been the cornerstone to reaching staff in a consistent, professional way. I love that we are able to see the results of each message and collect emails into campaigns further allowing me to measure the effectiveness of messaging. Our staff have had so many positive things to say about the emails they receive as well.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thanks so much for the kind words! We love hearing that Workshop has become such a key part of your internal comms—and that the analytics are helping you reach more of your team in meaningful ways.

It’s especially awesome to hear your staff are enjoying the emails, too. That’s what it’s all about!

We’re so glad to be in your toolkit, and we’re here cheering you on as you keep building out your strategy. If you ever have ideas, questions, or just want to chat comms—we’re all ears. 💛
