## About Workshop
Workshop is a modern, purpose-built internal communications platform that helps teams create, send, manage, and measure employee communications in one place — starting with email and extending to Microsoft Teams, Slack, SMS, and more. Backed by powerful AI and automation tools, Workshop helps communicators tackle the day-to-day more effectively: drafting on-brand emails, building dynamic audience lists, personalizing messages by role or location, and analyzing results so you always know what's landing. With Journeys, you can also automate personalized, well-timed sequences (onboarding emails, event follow-ups, benefits reminders, and more!) without adding anything extra to your plate. That means communicators can spend less time pushing messages out and more time focused on the strategy that actually moves people. When a message needs more room to breathe, Pages gives every communication a place to land. Communicators can build branded, mobile-friendly landing pages without any design or IT help, text them directly to frontline and deskless employees via SMS, and update them anytime without breaking a single link. It's the kind of flexibility that helps you reach 100% of your workforce, no matter where they work. Workshop also integrates seamlessly with Outlook, Gmail, SharePoint, Canva, and leading HRIS platforms, so your existing tools keep working the way they should. Most teams are up and running in just two to four weeks, and the impact shows up fast — whether you're a distributed organization trying to reach desk and deskless employees or a growing team that needs a smarter, more scalable way to communicate. That's why organizations like S&P Global, Aston Martin, Monster Energy, White Castle, and Meijer trust Workshop to reach every employee and prove the impact of their communications.

## Workshop Reviews
 ### 1. Workshop Streamlines Internal Communications with Fast, Intuitive Multi-Channel Messaging

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco A. | Asistente legal en formación, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

It is a very effective internal communications platform that stands out for how quickly it helps teams create, manage, and distribute messages across multiple channels. The UI/UX is clean and intuitive, with a drag-and-drop style editor that makes it easy to build emails and internal announcements without any technical effort, saving a noticeable amount of time compared to more traditional tools. In terms of integrations, it connects smoothly with platforms like Slack and Microsoft Teams, which makes it simple to distribute the same message across different tools without duplicating work, improving consistency across the organization. Performance-wise, the platform is stable and responsive even when handling multiple campaigns or segmented audiences, which is especially useful for larger teams that need to send frequent updates. From a pricing and ROI perspective, while it may not be the cheapest option available, it justifies its cost by consolidating multiple communication workflows into one system and reducing the need for additional tools. The onboarding and support experience is also solid, with guided setup and helpful resources that make it easy to get started quickly and resolve issues when they arise. Finally, the AI and automation features are particularly valuable, allowing for better personalization of internal messages and reducing manual effort when targeting different employee groups, which ultimately improves engagement and efficiency across internal communications.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

What I dislike about Workshop is that, while the platform is powerful, it can feel a bit complex when you start working with more advanced features like segmentation and multi-channel automation. There is a bit of a learning curve before you fully understand how to structure campaigns efficiently. Some users might also find that pricing becomes relatively high as the team scales or when you need access to more advanced analytics and automation features. Additionally, while integrations with tools like Slack and Teams work well, the setup for more customized workflows can take some time and may require support or documentation to get right.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop helps solve the problem of messy internal communication across different tools like email, Slack, and Teams by putting everything in one place. This makes it easier to send messages to employees without things getting lost or repeated. It also saves time because you can create and send updates faster using templates and automation instead of doing everything manually.

 ### 2. Easy to Use, Always Improving, and a Reliable Communications Investment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katy B. | Market Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love how easy it is to use, and I appreciate that it’s constantly evolving. The team genuinely takes customer feedback to heart and uses it to keep developing the product into something that truly fits the needs of its end users. I’ve rarely seen a company treat feedback with this level of seriousness. It also integrated smoothly with my organization’s existing Microsoft Suite, and the ability to niche-segment our audience based on ADP traits is extremely helpful as well. Overall, the tool has been reliable, and it’s been the best investment my company has made for communications.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

My biggest complaint is that Outlook doesn’t always perfectly mimic how emails are designed in Workshop, but that’s really down to how Outlook interprets the code. I also understand this is something the development team is actively working on and that it should be resolved soon. I do wish there were org chart logic so employees could be connected to their superiors for notification bumps, but overall, in terms of features, it does everything I need it to do.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop is constantly evolving. Every time I talk to my wonderful account success manager, she lets me know about all of the updates coming in the pipeline. It's almost like they're anticipating my needs before I even voice them. As a team of one, the automation process and assisted content development is going to be a game changer for me and my time management.

 ### 3. Complete overhaul of on-campus internal communication (higher ed)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca R. | Director of Creative Services, Public Affairs and Marketing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

We began using Workshop campus-wide a couple of years ago as the first shift in broad internal email communication in decades. Our open rates and the fact that the daily newsletter-style message has become part of the community vernacular is a testament to the Workshop product. Layout and design is incredibly easy, and delivery with Google integration is seamless.

It is not an exaggeration to say that internal mass emails went from something that our community hated to a new methodology that recipients actually enjoyed!

I am a big fan and would be happy to talk with other colleges and universities about how Workshop works for us.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

One-time segmented list integration has improved, but I think it has a way to go. Also, I wish that the name of the email that is being edited would appear on the screen. This is important to our particular use of Workshop in creating daily emails -- sometimes we're building several at once. The Workshop team has been very receptive to discussing this and I have hopes that this will be improved in the future!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Workshop to develop a daily newsletter that our entire campus has come to rely upon heavily. Additionally, we will use it for one-off messages to segments of our campus community that rise to a "very important" level. It has saved time and greatly improved communication -- recipients are actually reading the messages!

 ### 4. Workshop is be best Internal Comms platform I have ever used!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ananya M. | Senior Employee and Executive Communications Manager , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The platform is incredibly intuitive and purpose‑built to make communications easier and more effective for communicators. Its email‑first approach streamlines the entire workflow, creating messages is simple, and distributing them is seamless. Templates make it effortless to build layouts and maintain consistent branding, ensuring every communication feels polished, on‑brand, and cohesive. Overall, the experience is smooth, efficient, and designed with communicators in mind. The implementation has been super easy and the team at Workshop is one of the best I have worked with. The measurement metrics are another huge benefit.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

No downside! The team is always seeking feedback and making iterations to make sure we are able to gain maximum value from the platform.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Enables us to deliver consistently on‑brand communications and empowers our teams to do the same with confidence.
- Provides strong data and insights that help us make informed decisions and refine our strategy.
- Every feature feels thoughtful and intentional, genuinely improving our day‑to‑day workflow.
- Blazing‑fast send speeds ensure our messages reach people quickly and reliably.
- Enables easy governance

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Ananya!!

Thank you for such a raving review, we are so appreciative of you and your team! Really glad the platform is delivering on that “built for communicators” experience. Making it easy to create, send, and measure without adding friction is exactly what we’re aiming for. And love hearing that templates and metrics are helping you stay consistent and informed along the way.

Also means a lot to hear your kind words about our team. That partnership is something we care deeply about.

Appreciate you being part of Workshop!

 ### 5. Easy-to-Use Platform Backed by a Truly Personable, Customer-Focused Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina M. | People & Culture Communications Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

What I like most about Workshop is the people. The platform itself is easy to use, integrates seamlessly with the tools we already use, and is constantly evolving—they genuinely listen to customer feedback and act on it. But what really stands out is the experience with the team. From the very first demo through onboarding and ongoing support, every interaction has been personable, welcoming, and warm. It never feels transactional—it feels like you’re working with people who truly enjoy what they do, and that makes the whole experience both effective and enjoyable.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There’s honestly not much I would call out negatively. If anything, having the ability to view an individual’s read rate across all communication channels in one place like a report card would be a nice addition. That said, it’s something I’ve shared as feedback, and like everything else, it was well received—so I wouldn’t be surprised to see it in the future.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop is solving the challenge of fragmented communication and data visibility. Instead of managing multiple platforms, it brings SMS/MMS, email, and integrations with tools like SharePoint and Teams into one place. That alone creates efficiency, but the real benefit is the return—having a centralized platform with multiple user seats at a strong price point makes it scalable and easy to adopt across teams.

Beyond communication, the depth of data Workshop collects is a major advantage. With API capabilities, it allows us to take that data further and build meaningful insights, helping us move toward leading indicators instead of just reacting to outcomes. It turns communication into something measurable and actionable.

 ### 6. Giving our Internal Communications More "Oomph"

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren A. | Internal Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop has elevated our internal communications! It's easy to use, feels modern, and professionalizes the function. The templates have upgraded our comms to feel more professional, consistent, and visually appealing. Plus, I am now able to track data around messages where outlook has a 12-month expiration date on emails. I've received a lot of great feedback about the tool! I also appreciate it's affordable, which as a nonprofit I am so thankful to have the software remain affordable.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

1. More data insight would be helpful. Seeing the amount of time someone spends reading the email is helpful but doesn't feel super insightful for me.
2. Being able to see specifically who clicks on the web link would be helpful. Currently it just shows the clicks.
3. Recalling emails.
4. Integrating with Viva Engage would be helpful! For those of us who do not use Slack.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating more engaging communications. A tool that is easy to use and track analytics.

 ### 7. Transformative for Internal Communications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Breanne T. | Senior Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love that Workshop is constantly looking at ways to improve the platform. The customer service has been great, and I've really appreciated that they are proactively engaging with us on calls to explore new opportunities and inform us about what's coming out in the next few months. It's a growing platform that enhances how we communicate. The journey features streamline our communications, and it's more user-friendly compared to what we used before. Workshop helps us keep our team members consistently updated, and the audience segmentation options are finely tuned and really beneficial. We've enjoyed the platform throughout our five to six months of use, and it's allowed us to grow in how we communicate.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I think Workshop does a great job. We had some buying details at the start of implementing Workshop, and things that weren't working for us, but their team was right there to help support and find ways to make it work, whether it was on our side or theirs. There were small details that were probably more for our organization that were not working well.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop to streamline communications, making them more efficient and productive. It's user-friendly and helps us keep our team updated, segment audiences, and fine-tune messaging.

 ### 8. Effective Internal Communication with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine C. | Sr. MarCom Manager, Internal Communications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love Workshop's flexible distribution lists that connect to Active Directory, making it easy to manage internal emails. The interface for branded internal emails is intuitive and user-friendly. I enjoy using the easy builder for creating pages for special events. The detailed analytics, especially by AD audience, are incredibly useful. Also, the customer service is top-notch. The email builder, which we use the most, makes it simple to clone emails and utilize branded templates. We can deliver parts of an email to different audiences within the company all in one spot. Initial setup was a breeze, too.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The undo button is hard to find; it should be more prominently displayed up top instead of small and at the bottom. We'd also like to be able to filter reports by more than one filter at a time, and we'd love if the Calendar feature allowed more customization (i.e., adjusting category names and colors of notes and allowing for movement of items that we don't own).

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop provides flexible distribution lists, easy-to-use branded internal emails, a page builder for events, and great analytics. The email builder allows cloning and branded templates, delivering to different audiences with detailed analytics by AD audience.

 ### 9. User-Friendly and Adaptive Communication Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sierra B. | Sr. Marketing Communications Partner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I use Workshop to send emails and text messages to our employees, and I love how user-friendly it is. Workshop makes it easy to reach our frontline workers through SMS, ensuring they are informed. The analytics feature is great for seeing who is viewing the communications. The emails I can create are much more visually appealing compared to using Outlook, and the process to create and send an email is much simpler. I really appreciate how much the Workshop team actively works to solve our problems and develop new solutions, frequently releasing new features at least every quarter from customer suggestions. They are working on automating birthday and work anniversary texts to save us time, which is super helpful. The initial setup was pretty easy too!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Nothing!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop to send emails and texts, reaching frontline workers via SMS and offering great analytics on communication engagement. The emails are visually appealing, and the creation process is simpler than Outlook. Workshop's regular updates and automation features, like birthday texts, save time.

 ### 10. Great Experience with Workshop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is incredibly intuitive. I really appreciated how quickly I was able to learn the platform and start using it right away. I also love that the Workshop team keeps refining the product and adding new features that feel relevant and genuinely helpful. It continues to get better, and the (fabulous) Workshop team is consistently asking for feedback and listening closely to uncover additional ways to make Workshop even more impactful for Comms professionals.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I really haven't experienced any downsides to using Workshop.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop gives us a way to make sure we are getting consistent information to all of our employees. The ability to segment messages by location, job type, etc. has been extremely helpful.
For me, the top features/benefits are:
-Integrated text messaging: no need to use another software or program to set up that additional line of communication
-Translation: The ease of offering translated messages for employees has completely changed and streamlined our messaging.
-Automated coordination with our HRIS system: No need to worry about new employees not getting the message or accidentally sending info to an employee no longer with us. We consistently have an accurate list of employees.

 ### 11. User-Friendly and Impactful for Law Firms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patricia H. | Coordinator - Strategic Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I find Workshop super user-friendly and easy to create with, making communication organized and effective for our law firm. One of the biggest advantages is the ability to track emails and engagement. It's interesting to see how they are viewed and we're making progress on that front. The user-friendly aspect is crucial since I'm sending out over 20 office feedbacks and want this process to be streamlined without taking much time. I also enjoy the ability to work with Canva inside Workshop, which is a huge plus. As a new user, I love the tutorial videos that are only two or three minutes long, sometimes even just one minute, allowing me to learn quickly. The initial setup was fairly easy, and we're now sending out personalized birthday greetings every day, which adds a nice personal touch. I'm falling in love with Workshop, so much so that I would give it a 10 out of 10 recommendation.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Nothing so far!!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop to organize communication efficiently at our law firm, track email engagement, and ensure feedback is visible to all. It's user-friendly and helps me maintain monthly feedback without taking up too much time.

 ### 12. Powerful Email Analytics with Seamless AD Integration and Smooth Onboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Analytics for our internal emails has been paramount in providing clear insights to leadership and helping drive our strategy to achieve our company goals. The platform is easy to use and integrates seamlessly with our existing AD to ensure no employees fall through the cracks. Workshop made the onboarding process easy and their resources have been delivered at the exact time I need them.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The only drawback is that employees can’t see which distribution lists an email was sent to. This is important for our managers, so they know where the message went and can cascade it when needed.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Outlook in the past was a barrier to sending timely communications from leaders because the approval and scheduling process was manual. Now we can send emails and secure approvals much faster, and we also have added insights from analytics that help guide when and how we communicate with employees.

 ### 13. Easy-to-Use Email Builder That Brings Our Brand to Life

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy D. | Internal Communications Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

There are many features I love about Workshop, but the biggest highlight is clear: it allows us to create emails that truly represent and personify our brand and culture. With it, we can build engaging content that users trust and actually want to read. We also have analytics that give us insight into who received a message, who opened it, and what types of content they engage with most.

The ability to schedule communications has been a great tool as well. As a team of one, I’m not always available, so being able to draft, prepare, and plan in advance lets me step away with confidence, knowing the message(s) will be sent. It’s also helpful to be able to send on behalf of leaders within the organization, since some communications land better when they come from a recognizable face rather than our generic communications mailbox.

I am inside the Workshop platform every day, without fail and it is very functional and easy to use. I also love the new features and add-ons they keep rolling out.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I’d love to be able to see the date (and time) when users open emails, as well as the last time they opened an email. I’d also love the ability to replace a PDF after an email has already been sent. We’ve run into situations where a PDF needed to be updated, and while it’s easy to replace a link, I haven’t been able to simply swap the old PDF for the new one. That ends up creating the need to send a follow-up communication.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The first problem WorkShop solved for us was the lack of uniform, consistent, branded communications across the organization. By implementing Workshop, we’re able to give our team members the same branded experience that customers receive. We also now have access to analytics that Outlook simply didn’t offer. Being able to go back and confirm that an email was not only delivered, but also opened (and possibly clicked), is extremely helpful in situations like benefits communications, where we sometimes need to prove we sent something to someone. This is a benefit we didn’t necessarily realize we needed at first, but we’re now very glad to have.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Amy,

Thank you soooo much for this thoughtful review, it made our day!!

I love hearing that Workshop helps you create emails that truly feel like your brand, and that the analytics give you real proof instead of just a gut feeling. Outlook really does run on vibes sometimes.

As a team of one, being able to schedule ahead and send on behalf of leaders can make all the difference. We designed Workshop with clarity, connection, and a little peace of mind built in, so it means a lot to hear it’s working the way it should for you.

And thank you for the thoughtful feedback on open timestamps and swapping PDFs after send. That kind of input is incredibly helpful as we continue improving the product.

We’re grateful you trust us with your comms. Here’s to more confident sends and happier Mondays.☀️

 ### 14. Polished, Consistent Templates That Improve Internal Communications

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sk R. | Founder, Internet, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Our internal communications have improved thanks to the workshop! It feels contemporary, is simple to use, and elevates the purpose. Our communications now feel more polished, consistent, and aesthetically pleasing thanks to the templates. Additionally, I can now monitor data related to emails with Outlook's 12-month expiration date. I've heard nothing but positive things about the tool! Additionally, I value the software's affordability, for which I am grateful as a nonprofit.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The lack of customisation in some areas, such as communications design, is one aspect of Workshop that I find annoying. To better adapt messages to various audiences, it would be beneficial to have more flexibility with layouts, styling, and visual components.

Additionally, it's not always easy for numerous people to collaborate on the same template, which can slow down team workflows when organising material and occasionally feel constrictive.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The issue of uneven and ineffective internal communication among teams is being addressed by workshops. Important updates frequently get lost in emails or chat programs, which causes misalignment and information to be ignored. Workshop offers a centralised and organised method of communication, guaranteeing that important messages are conveyed consistently and clearly.

 ### 15. Reliable and User-Friendly for Internal Communications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristina C. | Coastal Naturalist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like how easy it is to send emails with Workshop. They've really reduced the potential for human error with their scheduling system, which is something I've found lacking in other platforms. It helps reduce errors and maintains our staff's trust in us to deliver reliable communications quickly, without glitching out. The initial setup was easy too, thanks to their hands-on approach and really clear to-do list, which impressed me. Also, it helps us deliver information in a more visually appealing way and provides specific data on engagement, allowing us to establish a baseline for improving employee communications.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I would love to be able to save section templates! That's all I can think of right now.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop makes our emails visually appealing and provides engagement data. It reduces email errors and increases reliability, which maintains staff trust.

 ### 16. Transforming our Internal Comms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittany Lohmann B. | Communications and Content Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop has transformed the way our organization delivers internal communications. Its template system lets us create messages from individual departments while maintaining a consistent, branded look and feel.

The analytics offer helpful insight into open rates, reading time, how our employees prefer to receive communications, and overall team member sentiment. In addition, the campaign feature allows us to focus on those same analytics so we can better understand how employees are responding to company-wide and department initiatives. Since we previously had no analytics at all, these foundational metrics have helped us establish a baseline and make more informed adjustments to our internal communications strategy.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I wish there were a way to organize emails into folders. The main “Email” page can feel cluttered, and the default view sometimes makes it hard to quickly locate specific messages.

For the calendar, I’d also like more robust color-coding options so I can differentiate communications by department more easily.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Workshop, our organization wasn’t measuring our internal communication efforts at all. Since adopting Workshop, we’ve been able to establish a clear baseline and use it to make more informed, intentional adjustments to our internal communications strategy.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Brittany,

This is such a great breakdown, thank you so much for sharing!

Love how you called out the balance between consistent, branded comms and giving teams the flexibility to send their own updates. And going from no analytics to actually having a baseline to work from? That’s a huge shift.

Also hear you on the email organization and calendar views — finding things quickly and staying visually organized makes a big difference day-to-day. We’re always looking at ways to improve that experience.

Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback!

 ### 17. Effortless Email Management with Exceptional Usability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lewis B. | Head of Employee Engagement & Communication, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I really like the ease of using Workshop and creating emails; it couldn't be any simpler. The drag and drop system is really great, and the ability to segment certain parts of an email to specific audiences is fantastic. This ensures the content people see is relevant to them. Additionally, having a calendar view to see what emails are going out when, and the capability to create staff lists, has massively saved time for our organization. Plus, the Workshop team made the setup super easy with a clear step-by-step guide, and their support team was really good at responding to any queries we had.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

N/A at this stage

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop allows me to measure communications and gain visibility over staff emails. It simplifies creating segment-targeted communications and saves time with a calendar view and staff lists.

 ### 18. Interactive Messaging Made Easy for Large Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer D. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I particularly like the user interface of Workshop; it's so easy to use and makes the platform enjoyable. The customizations within the emails, especially in design and inserting specific elements, make it more fun and interactive, which is one of my favorite features. I also find the tracking capabilities really helpful for auditing purposes, allowing me to see who read the emails and how many times they've opened them. This part is especially useful for ensuring important communication reaches everyone it needs to. Additionally, the setup was pretty easy, and from what I've heard, there were no complaints with the onboarding process.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

n/a

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop lets me reach the right people at the right times in a large company, overcoming email address issues and language barriers, and provides a fun, engaging way to communicate versus basic emails.

 ### 19. A reliable solution for streamlined internal communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anmol G. | Security Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop provide effective and simplifies internal communication. It provides a structured way to share updates, announcements, and important information across teams without relying heavily on mismatched emails or chats. The interface is clean and easy to use, which makes it quick to create and distribute messages. I also appreciate the analytics and feedback features, as they help track engagement and ensure that communications are actually being seen and understood. It helps centralize communication, reduce noise, and keep everyone aligned, especially in environments where clear and consistent messaging is important.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

One thing I dislike about Workshop is the limited customization in certain areas like designing communications. It would be helpful to have more flexibility with layouts, styling, and visual elements to better tailor messages to different audiences . And working on the same template with multiple users isn’t always smooth, which can slow down team workflows when coordinating content and sometime it feels restrictive.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop is helping solve the problem of inconsistent and inefficient internal communication across teams. In many cases, important updates get buried in emails or chat tools, leading to misalignment and missed information. Workshop provides a centralized and structured way to communicate, ensuring that key messages are delivered clearly and consistently.Overall, it improves visibility, reduces communication gaps, and ensures that everyone stays aligned, which ultimately leads to better coordination and productivity across the organization.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Anmol,

Thanks so much for this — “reduce noise and keep everyone aligned” is exactly what we’re aiming for.

Really glad the structure and analytics are pulling their weight for you (that’s where a lot of teams start to feel the difference, not just see it). And hearing that it’s helping move things out of scattered emails and chats into something more intentional? That’s a win.

Appreciate you taking the time to share this — it means a lot.

 ### 20. Simple, Smooth, and Great for Faster Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mujahid A. | Soc Analyst , Computer & Network Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

What I like best about Workshop is how simple and smooth it feels for daily work. The interface is easy to understand and team collaboration becomes faster. It helps manage communication properly without making things too complicated or confusing

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Sometimes Workshop can feel little slow when handling bigger tasks or many updates together. Few customization options are limited and some features take time to learn properly. Mobile experience also can be improved little more for smoother use.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop helps us manage internal communication in one place instead of using too many apps. It makes sharing updates, announcements and team messages much easier. Because of this our work coordination improved and employees stay informed without missing important info.

 ### 21. Workshop Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iris H. | Advanced, Marketing Copywriter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

What I like most about Workshop is the analytics and the ability to target individuals who haven't opened emails, and then resend to those people to ensure they're getting the necessary information. I also like the Journeys features and the ability to create drip campaigns. The initial setup for Workshop was pretty easy as representatives from Workshop worked with our IT team.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

So as an admin user of Workshop, I would really like the ability to delete any entries on the calendar feature. Currently, Workshop doesn't save one person's edits when two people are working in an email or template. It would be ideal to work in tandem.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop to send corporate emails. It provides lots of analytics, so we can see open rates, click through rates, etc.

 ### 22. Revolutionized Internal Comms with Professional Emails and Powerful Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chelsea C. | Director of Recruitment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

It has revolutionized our internal comms strategy. The professional look of the emails elevates their importance. The back-end data points are hugely helpful to inform how our staff is interacting, or not even opening, our key leadership communications.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

It takes time to build the templates and emails but I'm thankful for have a staff member who takes on that responsibility. It's worth it!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's giving data a seat at the table as we measure our worldwide staff engagement. It's also allowing us to deliver high-quality email communication to our staff.

 ### 23. Extremely Valuable for Internal Comms—Journeys and Email Tracking Shine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is an extremely valuable tool for internal communicators. I personally like the new Journeys feature and the ability to see if someone received/opened the email. It help a lot when you get a message from someone stating, "I never received that email." Workshop gives me the tool to go back, check and confirm the email recipients, date, time.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

While it integrates with Slack, I'd love to see a more formatting integration so that our people could experience Workshop layouts in Slack rather than a link to read the email.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a great value / ROI for internal communicator and helps me move expeditiously to deliver. It's AI additions have also been extremely useful to improving communications and driving better employee engagement.

 ### 24. Fantastic Platform with a Robust Email Builder, Analytics, and User Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John M. | Senior Manager of Creative Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love the robust email builder, user management, analytics, and more. It's a fantastic platform. The customer service reps are fast and great to work with, and to quote my IT team, the set up and integration one was one of the easiest they had the pleasure of working on. My team uses workshop multiple times a week.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Sometimes the robustness goes a little too deep - it's very easy to be inconsistent when spacing out blocks and rows because you may have done padding on different pieces vs rows.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a data driven company. We want to know what works and why, and workshop helps us do that by tracking opens and clicks, down to the exact user. It's especially useful for making sure the information is recieved.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Okay, this one covers all the bases — we love to see it 😄

So glad the platform’s working well across the board, and especially great to hear your IT team had an easy time with setup (we know that’s not always the case).

And huge shoutout back to our support team (they’ll be smiling at this one!!)

Thanks for being part of Workshop (multiple times a week, no less!) — really appreciate it.

 ### 25. Powerful internal communications platform that actually gets employees to read emails

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martino H. | Real estate team leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop makes internal communications incredibly easy and effective. The drag-and-drop email editor is intuitive and doesn’t require design or coding skills, which saves tons of time. I also love the analytics — being able to track opens, clicks, read time, and engagement helps us understand what actually works. The integrations with tools like Slack, Teams, and HR systems make targeting and segmentation seamless.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Pricing may be a bit high for smaller teams since entry plans start around $250/month depending on employee count. Also, some advanced features like automation journeys, segmentation, or SSO are only available in higher tiers.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It centralizes internal communication and replaces scattered email tools, making it easier to create, send, and measure company-wide messages. We can personalize communications, automate campaigns, and ensure employees actually receive and engage with important updates. This has improved clarity, reduced noise, and helped boost engagement across distributed teams.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Martino,

This is so great to hear — thank you!

“Actually gets employees to read emails” is kind of the whole goal 🙂
Really glad the editor is saving you time and the analytics are helping you see what’s landing (and what’s not).

And love that you called out integrations — getting the right message to the right people without extra lift is a big part of making comms actually work.

Appreciate you taking the time to share this.

 ### 26. An Upgrade to Our Employee Communications Strategy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew P. | Vice President, Corporate Communications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Our transition to Workshop has been great. The tool makes sending information out to our employees in a consistent and compelling style quick and easy and the list builder has really helped us make sure our messages are getting to the right audience.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Nothing specific comes to mind as far as any issues or dislikes.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop is helping us empower users across the company to distribute consistent and on brand employee messages.

 ### 27. Easy, Powerful Internal Comms with Seamless Integrations and Strong Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** KeiAsia H. | Sales Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

What I like best about Workshop is how easy it is to create engaging internal communications while still being powerful behind the scenes. It offers seamless integrations with tools like Slack and Teams, strong performance analytics to track engagement, and delivers solid ROI by improving communication quickly. The onboarding and support are smooth and helpful, and the built-in AI features make it faster to create and optimize content.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

What I dislike about Workshop is that while it’s strong overall, there are still some limitations.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It fixes the problem of not knowing what’s working. With built-in analytics, I can track opens, clicks, and engagement by team or location, which helps me improve messaging and make smarter decisions.

 ### 28. Workshop Makes Internal Email Communications Easy for Comms and HR

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is a great tool for internal communications, email especially! Love the ease of use for both Comms and HR teams!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I honestly haven't found anything to dislike, yet, about Workshop. There are few features that I wish were included in our subscription, but I understand why they are additional services for additional prices, i.e. managing permissions for various people on an account, etc.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attention getting emails to our frontline workers - it's always a good idea to communicate important information in a variety of ways, and our last team member survey showed that team members preferred email, so Workshop is helping us send more emails to our team members.

 ### 29. Intuitive Platform with Detailed Analytics and Responsive Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love the detailed analytics--being able to see which employees read messages and clicked on certain links. I also love the ease of use of the whole platform--it's very intuitive.

Customer support has been very helpful, they are quick to respond and offer great service.

I also appreciate their AI tool. I have to use it more, but from my limited use it has been useful.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Emails clip in Gmail if an email has more than 102kb. I didn't experience this problem with other email platforms.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping to segment audiences as it integrates with Workday, and helping us to have in-depth analytics on everything we send.

 ### 30. Enhances Communication with Engaging Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophia P.

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I really like how easy Workshop is to use, especially since I'm not a designer. It allows for personalizations that align with our branding, which is great. I enjoy that we can send messages via Slack with Workshop, so our audience doesn't have to go into a new forum to find a link. Workshop makes organizing information easy, and the ability to track audience engagement, like reading versus scanning the article, clicking on links, and knowing how and when they open the article, is really beneficial. The initial setup was very easy too.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Having grids or guidelines for designing templates would be a nice addition. Sometimes it's hard to see if graphics are aligned across a large article and the spacers can get confusing when there are multiple rows and elements. Even an 'align' button would be nice. The undo or 'command+z' feature only works for text and can be difficult when trying to find the best layout for an article. It would also be great if more characters were allowed for the Slack message previews.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop to make internal communications more engaging with rich media and design, and track audience engagement, which wasn't possible with Slack alone.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Sophia,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this!! We really appreciate it.

Hearing that Workshop feels easy to use, even without a design background is exactly what we aim for! It’s also great to hear that the branding flexibility, Slack integration, and engagement insights are making a real difference for your team.

And thank you as well for the thoughtful suggestions around layout tools and Slack previews. Feedback like this helps us continue refining and improving the experience.

We’re so grateful you’re using Workshop and trusting us with your communications. 💙

 ### 31. Workshop has elevated our communications! ⭐️

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love how exciting you can make an email on Workshop. Whether it's using images, GIFs, changing the layout or even implementing a pulse survey, it has elevated our email communication and the results speak for themselves! We use Workshop accross all business areas and it is now our main source of communication. Also, I have to shout out the customer support and response time. There hasn't been a single issue that the Workshop team haven't been able to help with so thank you!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The fact that there is no comment feature or reviewing feature for managers to approve emails. The test feature is really good but being able to comment in real-time would be great when building and approving emails.

The analytics are great too but maybe making these a more granular too.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop helps boost engagement with our communication and messages are being read and understood. Being able to see it translate into the analytics is great too!

 ### 32. Intuitive with Robust Metrics, Needs Outlook Fix

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina L.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like the ease of duplicating communications and tracking campaigns. Workshop makes it simple to either copy a recent send or use templates we've created when I have communications on a regular send schedule. I also like being able to neatly organize communications into 'buckets' for easier metrics tracking with grouped categories. Workshop offers cleaner sends and better tracking overall compared to our previous tool, PoliteMail. Additionally, the initial setup of Workshop was fairly easy and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Sometimes formatting text and images is clunky, particularly with the known Outlook issue of 1 point lines appearing on final sends. If the emails could send through Workshop into Outlook exactly as they appear in the draft version, that would cut down on a lot of repeated test sends that I need to work through, wasting some of my time. I know it's a known issue, but it has been for a couple years now and a fix or workaround would be much appreciated!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop for email formatting and metrics tracking. I like the ease of duplicating communications and tracking campaigns. Workshop offers cleaner sends and grouped categories for easier metrics tracking, and it's more cost effective compared to PoliteMail.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Christina,

This is such a helpful breakdown — thank you for sharing it.

Love hearing that duplicating sends, using templates, and organizing campaigns into “buckets” is making things easier (and more consistent) for you. And the comparison to your previous tool is especially meaningful — that’s exactly the kind of improvement we hope to deliver.

Also hear you on the formatting side, especially with Outlook. That kind of back-and-forth testing is never ideal, and we appreciate you sticking with us while we keep working to improve that experience.

Really appreciate the honest feedback.

 ### 33. Simple, Cost-Effective Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily R.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like that Workshop is simple. I've explored more in-depth tools out there, but we're always looking to save costs, so I love the fair price. It gives me what I need without all the extra bells and whistles. It was an easy choice for me. Having used other email software providers in the past, I can say it's more affordable yet lacks nothing essential that I need. I appreciate that it helps eliminate friction when executives need to send emails. It allows them to focus on their priorities while I manage communications.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I had a lot of trouble with my team getting it set up, and I'm not sure if that's because the clarity from their end wasn't as strong as it could be or if it wasn't IT team's number one priority. But, it took way longer than I was promised.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop eliminates friction by allowing me to send emails on behalf of executives, freeing them to focus on the business. It helps with newsletters and special moments, providing what we need without unnecessary extras.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Emily,

Thank you for sharing this. There’s a lot here, and it’s really helpful.

Glad Workshop is hitting that balance of simplicity and value for you. Giving you what you need without extra complexity is exactly the goal. And it’s great to hear it’s helping reduce friction for your exec team so they can stay focused.

We also really appreciate you calling out the setup experience. That’s not the kind of first impression we want, especially when expectations don’t match reality. We’re continuing to make onboarding clearer and more consistent.

Thanks again for the honest feedback. It means a lot.

 ### 34. User-Friendly with Rock-Solid Stability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I use Workshop to send monthly newsletters to our Finance department, and I love its ease of use. The custom templates are reliable and stable, which is a big upgrade for our organization and myself. The user-friendly UI is a joy compared to many other similar tools on the market, with well-organized and clear menus. It's predictable and stable, so I don't worry about crashes or losing work when building a template. The initial setup was incredibly easy, and we had a seamless transition. I would rate it a 10 out of 10, it's a wonderful product.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I can't think of any particular issues. A very minor one that comes to mind is when a Workshop-generated email is forwarded, it can sometimes break the formatting and create a space between sections that should be vertically stacked directly on top of one another. Resolving that would be a great improvement.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop to send newsletters easily. Its ease of use, stability, and user-friendly UI are big upgrades, making template building stress-free compared to the previous tool.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> This made our day — thank you so much for sharing this!

“Predictable and stable” might be our favorite kind of feedback (especially when it means no lost work or surprises). Really glad the templates, UI, and overall experience have been such a step up for you — and that setup and transition felt seamless from the start.

Also appreciate the note on forwarded email formatting. That’s a helpful callout, and we know those small details can make a big difference.

Thanks again for the thoughtful review — 10/10 means a lot 😊
— Cassandra @ Workshop

 ### 35. Powerful Analytics & Targeting & Awesome Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica D. | Sr. Manager, OD Community, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is my go-to communication platform for employee outreach because of its powerful analytics and targeting capabilities. I love being able to see who has opened a message, retarget those who haven’t, and measure engagement in real time. It’s allowed me to communicate more strategically, thus engaging employees effectively without overloading those who already stay up to date. The texting feature has also been a game-changer, helping me reach employees quickly and efficiently with timely or urgent updates. And if anything does go wrong, Austin Parks is super responsive and helpful. I use Workshop every weekday because it's now a tool I can't go without!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There is not much I dislike about Workshop. If anything, can you please move the text editor box (the black one) to the left side of the screen? It always pops up directly covering the "copy" or "delete" buttons in text boxes, which I find frustrating. Hope that makes sense. Overall, Workshop is awesome, it's just small things that are annoying sometimes. I wish I could put the clickable menu into iOS, I wish I could embed videos directly into the emails.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop helps us communicate in a more engaging and effective way. It allows us to share messages that are not only informative but also visually appealing and fun. The ability to embed photos and GIFs directly into emails, without formatting issues or triggering spam filters, has been a game-changer for grabbing attention and ensuring key messages are seen and understood.

Beyond our monthly newsletter, we also use Workshop for important, trackable communications such as employee training announcements and one-question surveys to check in with our doctors. These features allow us to engage with our team on a deeper level than a traditional email ever could.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Jessica, thank you so much for such an incredible review! We love hearing how Workshop’s analytics, targeting, and texting features are helping you communicate more strategically and effectively with your team. It’s awesome to know it’s become a go-to part of your daily workflow!

We’ll also pass along your shoutout to Austin — he’ll be so happy to hear! And thank you for sharing those thoughtful suggestions around the text editor and embedding options. That kind of feedback helps us keep improving the experience for all!

We’re so glad Workshop has become a key part of your communications toolkit, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! 💙

 ### 36. User-Friendly and Customizable with Clean Outputs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer L.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I find Workshop to be a user-friendly experience, and I appreciate that it is mobile responsive. I like being able to drag text blocks, photos, and buttons into the content area, which makes it easy to build customizable templates. I also like that communications look very clean, and as a user, I found the initial setup pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The mail merge isn't great, I want it to have the same functions as Word's mail merge. I want the mail merge to be customized depending on the data, like putting data into an Excel or another platform's table and mail merge being able to speak to that data. I also don't like that you can't change the size of tables. I want to change the cell's size.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop provides a user-friendly experience for sending communications, is mobile responsive, and makes it easy to build customizable templates with a clean look.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Really appreciate you sharing this — thank you.

Love hearing that the editor and templates are making things easy and flexible on your side, and that everything feels clean and polished.

Also hear you on the mail merge and table limitations — that’s really helpful feedback. If you’re running into specific use cases there, our team would be happy to dig in with you and see what’s possible (or where we can help bridge the gap).

 ### 37. Workshop has drastically enhanced our internal communications strategy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kalynn D. | Team Member Engagement Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop has drastically transformed our internal communications strategy for the better. Since shifting our key messages and newsletter to Workshop, we’ve seen a 40% increase in readership, gained the ability to collect real-time feedback from team members, and elevated our content to be more engaging, relevant, and easy to digest. Workshop has given us the tools and insights we need to truly connect with our team in meaningful ways, and the impact has been clear across our organization.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The only thing I would improve about Workshop is the ability to edit tables with the same flexibility I have in Outlook, and the option to play videos hosted internally rather than relying on external platforms like Vimeo or YouTube. Aside from those small limitations, I truly have no complaints — the platform has been a game-changer for us.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop solves key challenges in our internal communications by giving us real-time analytics that show who is engaging with our messages, when they’re interacting, and how content is performing over time. It has also significantly improved our delivery, ensuring messages are seen, opened, and acted on, rather than getting lost in inboxes. With better visibility and smarter distribution, we’re able to tailor our communications more effectively and connect with our team in a more meaningful, measurable way.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Kalynn, thank you sooo much for the amazing review! 💙 Our team loves hearing how much Workshop has transformed your internal comms strategy — a 40% increase in readership is incredible! 🎉

We also really appreciate your feedback on tables and video playback; our team is always exploring ways to make those experiences even better. We’re so glad Workshop has become such a valuable part of your comms strategy and can’t wait to keep growing with you!

 ### 38. So Glad I Googled and Workshop's SEO is On Point...

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz F. | Communications Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like how I can manage and schedule all my internal comms in one place. I can manage our brand look and feel and create templates to share the platform with other stakeholders while maintaining brand standards. The analytics and reporting features help me to tailor my comms to be more effective. The thing that has really stood out to me though are the people behind the platform. From the discovery phase to implementation and post-go live support, the Workshop team has been there every step of the way! Even the free industry workshops have helped me to use the platform more effectively. You guys are awesome.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I wish the open to email button was tracked in CTR. It would be helpful if industry benchmarks were included in the platform, too. More tools to help you understand and interpret your data.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me to elevate the look and feel of our internal comms. It integrates with Canva which helps the design process, and the analytics help me to report to senior leadership how effective our comms are and help me to adjust based on employee engagement.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> This review made our day! We’re so glad you found us (SEO win!) and that Workshop has helped you level up your internal comms while keeping your brand consistent.

It means a lot to hear that both the platform and our team have supported you every step of the way. Thanks for the great feedback on analytics and benchmarks — we’re always looking for ways to make Workshop even better for you!

 ### 39. Time-Saving Tool with Template Reuse and Automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica R. | Marketing Intern, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like that I can save my own templates to reuse for recurring communications. I also really enjoy automated journeys, it's a great time saver.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I think it would be cool if you could add different 'triggers' to journeys. For example, a recipient has to fill out an attached form, and once they submit it they get sent another automated email. Even better if you can send different emails based on their responses!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop for formatting recurring emails and newsletters. I like saving my own templates for communications and enjoy automated journeys as it's a great time saver.

 ### 40. Intuitive and Personalize Communications with Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olayinka E.

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I recently signed up to Workshop after seeing them at an Internal Comms conference and I find it valuable that I can use it to send emails and change incorrect links without recalling or sending multiple emails. The ability to reach colleagues with timely communications and track how employees are engaging with the content has been great. I really like how easy it is to use; it's user-friendly and very intuitive. I also appreciate that emails look like they are sent to an individual rather than a group because it allows a bit of personalization.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Setting up Workshop wasn't easy. We had a lot of back and forth with the team on the contract.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop lets me change email links without recall and track employee engagement, reaching colleagues with timely comms. It's user-friendly, intuitive, and personalizes emails to individuals while offering valuable analytics.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Olayinka,

Thanks so much for sharing this — and for stopping by at the conference! 😊

Really glad to hear Workshop is helping you move faster with comms (especially being able to fix links without the whole “oops, ignore the last email” moment). And that mix of personalization + analytics is exactly what we’re aiming for — messages that feel human and actually land.

Also appreciate the honest note on setup. That’s helpful, and we know those early steps matter more than they should. We’re actively working on making that process smoother and more straightforward.

Thanks again for the thoughtful review — it means a lot.

 ### 41. Seamless Employee Communication with Workshop and Outlook Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan J. | Marketing & Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

We switched to Workshop from Constant Contact when we were having problems with our emails not delivering. We love that Workshop integrates with our Outlook emails, so we know all our employees are receiving our communications. We also communicate with our employees through text, and Workshop makes it easy to send both internal emails and texts simultaneously. The calendar feature makes it easy to see what communications our team has planned. Workshop is constantly innovating, taking customer feedback to heart, and looking for ways to make our experience better.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

We honestly don't have any cons for Workshop. We do wish that they had an events feature. It would make it great for tracking internal event attendees, sending communication about the event, and follow-up surveys afterward.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop helps us communicate internally with our 800+ employees across three states. Most of our 800 employees are out in the field, not the office, so we find that Workshop allows us to communicate important information quickly through email and text.

 ### 42. Great Email Metrics, but Limited Design and Integration Options

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentina B. | Senior Specialist Tech Business Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love the metrics—it’s great to see who opens my emails, how much time people spend reading them, and when they click on links.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I find it frustrating that there aren't many options to make the design look really good. It would be fantastic if I could connect this with SharePoint, or have the ability for users to click and navigate to a different Workshop section. That way, I wouldn't have to squeeze all the content onto a single page.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop has been useful in showing me how engaged my organization is with our communications. It helps me understand how much people care and allows me to connect with everyone by sharing updates about what’s happening across our organization and the business. I create one newsletter for the executives under our CTO and another for an organization under a VP, and it’s great to have a way to communicate and also measure the impact of those messages.

 ### 43. Streamlined Email Design with Intuitive Controls

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hao Yi K.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I like that Workshop has convenient and easy to understand controls, along with a drag and drop feature that saves time. I can easily lift my drafted content and drop it straight into the interface, and then play around with the look and feel depending on the tone of the email. The variety of formatting options and customizable capabilities are really valuable, making the process of creating internal email newsletters efficient. The initial setup was pretty simple too.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I would like to have benchmark figures in analytics for enterprise-wide comparison to see how our emails perform.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop to send internal newsletters. It solves layout and design issues, ensuring formatting and media assets are properly sized. The drag and drop feature and customizable options save time, allowing easy content integration and flexibility with the look and feel.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Hao Yi K,

Thank you for your positive review!! We're so grateful for you for sharing it.

Love hearing how you’re using the drag-and-drop builder to shape the tone and feel of your emails — that flexibility (without added complexity) is exactly what we’re aiming for. And glad setup felt simple from the start.

Also really appreciate the note on benchmarking. Being able to see how your comms stack up at a broader level is a great callout, and helpful context for where we can keep evolving our analytics.

 ### 44. Intuitive List Building and Game-Changing In-Email Audience Segmentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The automatic List building functionality is intuitive and effective. Audience segmentation of content within a single email is a game changer, and has proven to be very valuable in eliminating waste and rework on our team.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Improved list input options – the ability to paste email addresses directly into the “send to” field, or copy/paste emails when creating a manual List, would significantly speed up ad‑hoc audience creation.

Flexible table formatting – adding the capability to adjust column widths within tables would give communicators more control over layout and readability in emails.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relying on Active Directory distribution group created by our internal IT team significantly impacted our Internal Communications' teams ability to target information to only those who needed it. Workshop's List building capability and connection to SAP data have eliminating nearly all of these pain points.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

 ### 45. Seamless and Intuitive Internal Communications Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I find the list management and Google directory syncing feature to be a breeze with Workshop. The design options are also great, especially the ease of the drag-and-drop functionality. It's easy to send on-brand and attractive newsletters.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I think it would be great if Workshop had a 'multiplayer' feature that allows for simultaneous editing of emails, instead of having to share them back and forth. It can be a bit cumbersome, so I'm hoping this will be addressed in a future release.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop for managing multiple disparate lists for on-campus and internal communications, covering HR, event promotion, executive communications, etc. The granularity of user permissions is very helpful. The calendar function is also great for centrally managing comms (blackout days - what a concept!).

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> David,

We are so appreciate the thoughtful review + feedback offered! We hear you on the "multiplayer / collaboration" feature, we are working hard to build this soon!

So glad to hear the list management + easy design has been great! kind of the dream.

Really appreciate the kind words.

 ### 46. Workshop Solves All My Internal Comms Pain Points Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle A. | Senior Internal Communications Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is so easy to use. If you think about all of your pain points with other internal comms programs you've used—Workshop pretty much addresses all of that in one platform. They also have some amazing templates to use. It's really helped us level up our internal branding to make our emails look better and more engaging to the reader.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There's nothing that I dislike about Workshop.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helped up level up our internal comms email branding. Giving us better analytics on how effective our emails are. Since its so easy to use, we've onboarded other members of our larger HR team to start using it as well. This is something that was difficult with past platforms because they weren't easy to use for non-comms people.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We love hearing that Workshop has made your internal communications easier and more effective.

It’s great to know that you’re leveling up your internal branding and empowering more of your HR team to get involved in communications. That’s exactly the kind of impact we hope to make.

We’re so glad you're a part of the Workshop community! 💙

 ### 47. Seamless Setup and Powerful HRIS Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie D. | Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love that our lists automatically sync from our HRIS and that we can create targeted lists. I also love that we can customize what fields we use from our HRIS to sync. The setup was seamless on the Workshop side.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Journeys are still a work in progress. I'd like to be able to have one running each week, resending the same email to the same group at a specific time each week. Also, I'd love the ability to choose an email and 'send to more' instead of creating a new email.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop for internal communications. It solves deliverability concerns and segmented sends. I love that our lists automatically sync from our HRIS, allowing us to create targeted lists and customize fields.

 ### 48. User-Friendly Newsletter Builder with Powerful Analytics and Polls

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop is incredibly user friendly. I’ve been able to fully create my own internal newsletter format for my organization. I love the poll feature. But, truly the best part is the analytics. Knowing that we are growing readership year over here is so helpful.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Frankly, I’m not sure there is anything I dislike about it. The platform itself is great, but working with the staff team at Workshop has also always been a positive experience. No pushy sales people - just people excited about internal comms.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous platform was very dated. There was very little to support aesthetically pleasing content which definitely was likely contributing to less readership. Workshop enables a fun, modern format that we can tailor to match our brand.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Nothing to dislike?? Okay… cue the celebrating 🎉

All jokes aside, we really appreciate the kind words. It’s great to hear the platform has been working so well for you — and even better to hear your readership is growing year over year. That’s a big win.

Glad the analytics and polls are helping you keep that momentum going!

 ### 49. Seamless Communication with Modern Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben C. | Product Owner Digital Learning, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I find Workshop to be a highly effective tool for our communications platform at Travel Counselors. It was very easy to adopt due to its modern features and functionality that align with what one would expect from a contemporary communications platform. The transition to Workshop was seamless as it offers enhanced capabilities compared to our old system. In particular, I appreciate the template system, which ensures that all of our communications go out on brand. Embedding content and conducting instant feedback surveys through polls is straightforward and efficient. The ability to conduct scheduled communications ensures nothing is overlooked, which is crucial for a business with a global presence of 2,000 franchisees. Furthermore, the Canva integration is a significant advantage, allowing us to seamlessly incorporate imagery and content into our communications. Importantly, Workshop delivers on what it promises for internal corporate communications, exceeding expectations without overselling, which is invaluable. Overall, its features make it easy to keep our team aligned and informed, embodying our brand and values effectively.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I would like to have the ability to change communication based on specific rules or an individual's performance or role within the business. Although Workshop allows sending communications with different tones to various departments, it would be beneficial if it could tailor messages even further, such as in sales roles, where messages might need to be adjusted based on performance. Additionally, integrating with tools like Power BI for such dynamic communication adjustments would be a valuable feature.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Workshop streamlines our global communications, keeping 2,000 franchisees aligned. It supports branding and facilitates instant feedback. The template and scheduling systems ensure on-brand messaging and timely communications, while Canva integration makes embedding content seamless.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for the thoughtful review. We’re really glad to hear that Workshop’s templates, polls, scheduling, and Canva integration are helping your team stay aligned and on brand across such a large global network. Knowing the switch to Workshop felt smooth and modern truly makes our day.

On the personalization side, one quick note that might be helpful. Workshop can segment on any list you create, not just departments, so if you build automatic lists based on role, performance, or other criteria, you can absolutely tailor versions of a message for each group.

You’re also right that we don’t have a native Power BI integration at the moment. Many customers connect Workshop to Power BI using the Workshop API, so if you want to pull dynamic data into your comms, that’s definitely possible with a little help from someone on your team.

Your Customer Success Manager would be more than happy to talk through list setup or API options whenever you’d like. Thank you again for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback — we’re so grateful to have you with us.

 ### 50. Efficient Email Communication with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alice A.

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I really appreciate Workshop's ease of setup, as it was quite straightforward to get started by simply submitting an IT request at my company. The account setup seamlessly linked to my work email, allowing me to quickly sign in and set a password. I enjoy using Workshop because it significantly simplifies the process of sending mass emails with its standard structure and ability to duplicate previous work. The feature I find particularly useful is the test email option, which allows me to see how emails will look before sending them out to everyone, thus minimizing errors. The email design form tools are quite beneficial to me, and the built-in templates facilitate effortless content creation and modification, even when I'm not well-versed in communication emails. The ability to easily edit content and structure is invaluable. Additionally, leveraging Microsoft Forms seamlessly with Workshop for sending invites and gathering responses enhances the workflow. This integration simplifies task management and amplifies the utility of the software in our activities.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I dislike the access rights issue within Workshop. It seems that there is a problem with gaining the correct access rights to certain distribution lists, which requires intervention from colleagues to resolve. This can be inconvenient and indicates that the system may not be as intuitive or self-sufficient in managing access privileges.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Workshop's email templates and editing features streamline my communication, ensuring ease in sending out standard formats and testing emails before mass distribution, which prevents errors.

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear that Workshop has made it easier to create, test, and send engaging emails — and that features like templates, test sends, and Microsoft Forms integration are simplifying your workflow.

We really appreciate your feedback about access rights and distribution lists. In many cases, those settings are managed by your organization’s IT or admin team, but we know it can still be frustrating. We’re continuing to explore ways to make permissions and access management more intuitive for everyone.

We’re so glad Workshop is helping you streamline your communications, and we’ll keep working to make the experience even smoother!
