## About Workshop
Workshop is a modern, purpose-built internal communications platform that helps teams create, send, manage, and measure employee communications in one place — starting with email and extending to Microsoft Teams, Slack, SMS, and more. Backed by powerful AI and automation tools, Workshop helps communicators tackle the day-to-day more effectively: drafting on-brand emails, building dynamic audience lists, personalizing messages by role or location, and analyzing results so you always know what's landing. With Journeys, you can also automate personalized, well-timed sequences (onboarding emails, event follow-ups, benefits reminders, and more!) without adding anything extra to your plate. That means communicators can spend less time pushing messages out and more time focused on the strategy that actually moves people. When a message needs more room to breathe, Pages gives every communication a place to land. Communicators can build branded, mobile-friendly landing pages without any design or IT help, text them directly to frontline and deskless employees via SMS, and update them anytime without breaking a single link. It's the kind of flexibility that helps you reach 100% of your workforce, no matter where they work. Workshop also integrates seamlessly with Outlook, Gmail, SharePoint, Canva, and leading HRIS platforms, so your existing tools keep working the way they should. Most teams are up and running in just two to four weeks, and the impact shows up fast — whether you're a distributed organization trying to reach desk and deskless employees or a growing team that needs a smarter, more scalable way to communicate. That's why organizations like S&P Global, Aston Martin, Monster Energy, White Castle, and Meijer trust Workshop to reach every employee and prove the impact of their communications.

## Workshop Reviews
 ### 1. Workshop Simplifies Structured Collaboration into Clear, Actionable Outcomes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megha A. | Digital Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

What I like best about workshop is how it simplifies structured collaboration and makes it easier to turn discussion into clear, actionable outcomes. it helps brings teams onto the same page quickly without getting lost in scattered conversations or lengthy meetings. The ability to organize ideas, align on priorities, and document decisions in a structured way is especially valuable . it ensures that everyone involved has clearity on what was discussed, what needs to be done next, and who is responsible for what.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

While Workshop is useful for structured collaboration, there are a few areas that could be improved. At times, the platform can feel a bit limited when it comes to advanced customization of workflows. For teams with more complex processes, having more flexibility in how discussions, tasks, or decision flows are structured would be helpful .Another area is integration depth. While it supports basic collaboration needs, tighter integartion with broader productivity or project management tools would make it easier to connect workshop outputs directly into execution workflows.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop is mainly solving the problem of scattered communication and lack of clarity in team decision making . Earlier, a lot of discussions would happen across meetings , chats and emails, which often led to fragmemted context and unclear action items. With workshop, those discussions are brought into a more structured format where ideas, inputs, and decisions are organized in one place . This makes it much easier to track what was discussed , what was agreed upon, and what needs to be executed next.

 ### 2. Workshop Streamlines Internal Communications with Fast, Intuitive Multi-Channel Messaging

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco A. | Asistente legal en formación, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

It is a very effective internal communications platform that stands out for how quickly it helps teams create, manage, and distribute messages across multiple channels. The UI/UX is clean and intuitive, with a drag-and-drop style editor that makes it easy to build emails and internal announcements without any technical effort, saving a noticeable amount of time compared to more traditional tools. In terms of integrations, it connects smoothly with platforms like Slack and Microsoft Teams, which makes it simple to distribute the same message across different tools without duplicating work, improving consistency across the organization. Performance-wise, the platform is stable and responsive even when handling multiple campaigns or segmented audiences, which is especially useful for larger teams that need to send frequent updates. From a pricing and ROI perspective, while it may not be the cheapest option available, it justifies its cost by consolidating multiple communication workflows into one system and reducing the need for additional tools. The onboarding and support experience is also solid, with guided setup and helpful resources that make it easy to get started quickly and resolve issues when they arise. Finally, the AI and automation features are particularly valuable, allowing for better personalization of internal messages and reducing manual effort when targeting different employee groups, which ultimately improves engagement and efficiency across internal communications.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

What I dislike about Workshop is that, while the platform is powerful, it can feel a bit complex when you start working with more advanced features like segmentation and multi-channel automation. There is a bit of a learning curve before you fully understand how to structure campaigns efficiently. Some users might also find that pricing becomes relatively high as the team scales or when you need access to more advanced analytics and automation features. Additionally, while integrations with tools like Slack and Teams work well, the setup for more customized workflows can take some time and may require support or documentation to get right.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop helps solve the problem of messy internal communication across different tools like email, Slack, and Teams by putting everything in one place. This makes it easier to send messages to employees without things getting lost or repeated. It also saves time because you can create and send updates faster using templates and automation instead of doing everything manually.

 ### 3. Easy to Use, Always Improving, and a Reliable Communications Investment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katy B. | Market Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love how easy it is to use, and I appreciate that it’s constantly evolving. The team genuinely takes customer feedback to heart and uses it to keep developing the product into something that truly fits the needs of its end users. I’ve rarely seen a company treat feedback with this level of seriousness. It also integrated smoothly with my organization’s existing Microsoft Suite, and the ability to niche-segment our audience based on ADP traits is extremely helpful as well. Overall, the tool has been reliable, and it’s been the best investment my company has made for communications.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

My biggest complaint is that Outlook doesn’t always perfectly mimic how emails are designed in Workshop, but that’s really down to how Outlook interprets the code. I also understand this is something the development team is actively working on and that it should be resolved soon. I do wish there were org chart logic so employees could be connected to their superiors for notification bumps, but overall, in terms of features, it does everything I need it to do.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop is constantly evolving. Every time I talk to my wonderful account success manager, she lets me know about all of the updates coming in the pipeline. It's almost like they're anticipating my needs before I even voice them. As a team of one, the automation process and assisted content development is going to be a game changer for me and my time management.

 ### 4. Complete overhaul of on-campus internal communication (higher ed)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca R. | Director of Creative Services, Public Affairs and Marketing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

We began using Workshop campus-wide a couple of years ago as the first shift in broad internal email communication in decades. Our open rates and the fact that the daily newsletter-style message has become part of the community vernacular is a testament to the Workshop product. Layout and design is incredibly easy, and delivery with Google integration is seamless.

It is not an exaggeration to say that internal mass emails went from something that our community hated to a new methodology that recipients actually enjoyed!

I am a big fan and would be happy to talk with other colleges and universities about how Workshop works for us.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

One-time segmented list integration has improved, but I think it has a way to go. Also, I wish that the name of the email that is being edited would appear on the screen. This is important to our particular use of Workshop in creating daily emails -- sometimes we're building several at once. The Workshop team has been very receptive to discussing this and I have hopes that this will be improved in the future!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Workshop to develop a daily newsletter that our entire campus has come to rely upon heavily. Additionally, we will use it for one-off messages to segments of our campus community that rise to a "very important" level. It has saved time and greatly improved communication -- recipients are actually reading the messages!

 ### 5. Workshop is be best Internal Comms platform I have ever used!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ananya M. | Senior Employee and Executive Communications Manager , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

The platform is incredibly intuitive and purpose‑built to make communications easier and more effective for communicators. Its email‑first approach streamlines the entire workflow, creating messages is simple, and distributing them is seamless. Templates make it effortless to build layouts and maintain consistent branding, ensuring every communication feels polished, on‑brand, and cohesive. Overall, the experience is smooth, efficient, and designed with communicators in mind. The implementation has been super easy and the team at Workshop is one of the best I have worked with. The measurement metrics are another huge benefit.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

No downside! The team is always seeking feedback and making iterations to make sure we are able to gain maximum value from the platform.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Enables us to deliver consistently on‑brand communications and empowers our teams to do the same with confidence.
- Provides strong data and insights that help us make informed decisions and refine our strategy.
- Every feature feels thoughtful and intentional, genuinely improving our day‑to‑day workflow.
- Blazing‑fast send speeds ensure our messages reach people quickly and reliably.
- Enables easy governance

**Official Response from Cassandra Brooks:**

> Ananya!!

Thank you for such a raving review, we are so appreciative of you and your team! Really glad the platform is delivering on that “built for communicators” experience. Making it easy to create, send, and measure without adding friction is exactly what we’re aiming for. And love hearing that templates and metrics are helping you stay consistent and informed along the way.

Also means a lot to hear your kind words about our team. That partnership is something we care deeply about.

Appreciate you being part of Workshop!

 ### 6. Easy-to-Use Platform Backed by a Truly Personable, Customer-Focused Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina M. | People & Culture Communications Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

What I like most about Workshop is the people. The platform itself is easy to use, integrates seamlessly with the tools we already use, and is constantly evolving—they genuinely listen to customer feedback and act on it. But what really stands out is the experience with the team. From the very first demo through onboarding and ongoing support, every interaction has been personable, welcoming, and warm. It never feels transactional—it feels like you’re working with people who truly enjoy what they do, and that makes the whole experience both effective and enjoyable.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

There’s honestly not much I would call out negatively. If anything, having the ability to view an individual’s read rate across all communication channels in one place like a report card would be a nice addition. That said, it’s something I’ve shared as feedback, and like everything else, it was well received—so I wouldn’t be surprised to see it in the future.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop is solving the challenge of fragmented communication and data visibility. Instead of managing multiple platforms, it brings SMS/MMS, email, and integrations with tools like SharePoint and Teams into one place. That alone creates efficiency, but the real benefit is the return—having a centralized platform with multiple user seats at a strong price point makes it scalable and easy to adopt across teams.

Beyond communication, the depth of data Workshop collects is a major advantage. With API capabilities, it allows us to take that data further and build meaningful insights, helping us move toward leading indicators instead of just reacting to outcomes. It turns communication into something measurable and actionable.

 ### 7. Giving our Internal Communications More "Oomph"

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren A. | Internal Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

Workshop has elevated our internal communications! It's easy to use, feels modern, and professionalizes the function. The templates have upgraded our comms to feel more professional, consistent, and visually appealing. Plus, I am now able to track data around messages where outlook has a 12-month expiration date on emails. I've received a lot of great feedback about the tool! I also appreciate it's affordable, which as a nonprofit I am so thankful to have the software remain affordable.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

1. More data insight would be helpful. Seeing the amount of time someone spends reading the email is helpful but doesn't feel super insightful for me.
2. Being able to see specifically who clicks on the web link would be helpful. Currently it just shows the clicks.
3. Recalling emails.
4. Integrating with Viva Engage would be helpful! For those of us who do not use Slack.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating more engaging communications. A tool that is easy to use and track analytics.

 ### 8. Transformative for Internal Communications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Breanne T. | Senior Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love that Workshop is constantly looking at ways to improve the platform. The customer service has been great, and I've really appreciated that they are proactively engaging with us on calls to explore new opportunities and inform us about what's coming out in the next few months. It's a growing platform that enhances how we communicate. The journey features streamline our communications, and it's more user-friendly compared to what we used before. Workshop helps us keep our team members consistently updated, and the audience segmentation options are finely tuned and really beneficial. We've enjoyed the platform throughout our five to six months of use, and it's allowed us to grow in how we communicate.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

I think Workshop does a great job. We had some buying details at the start of implementing Workshop, and things that weren't working for us, but their team was right there to help support and find ways to make it work, whether it was on our side or theirs. There were small details that were probably more for our organization that were not working well.

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop to streamline communications, making them more efficient and productive. It's user-friendly and helps us keep our team updated, segment audiences, and fine-tune messaging.

 ### 9. Effective Internal Communication with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine C. | Sr. MarCom Manager, Internal Communications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I love Workshop's flexible distribution lists that connect to Active Directory, making it easy to manage internal emails. The interface for branded internal emails is intuitive and user-friendly. I enjoy using the easy builder for creating pages for special events. The detailed analytics, especially by AD audience, are incredibly useful. Also, the customer service is top-notch. The email builder, which we use the most, makes it simple to clone emails and utilize branded templates. We can deliver parts of an email to different audiences within the company all in one spot. Initial setup was a breeze, too.

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

The undo button is hard to find; it should be more prominently displayed up top instead of small and at the bottom. We'd also like to be able to filter reports by more than one filter at a time, and we'd love if the Calendar feature allowed more customization (i.e., adjusting category names and colors of notes and allowing for movement of items that we don't own).

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workshop provides flexible distribution lists, easy-to-use branded internal emails, a page builder for events, and great analytics. The email builder allows cloning and branded templates, delivering to different audiences with detailed analytics by AD audience.

 ### 10. User-Friendly and Adaptive Communication Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sierra B. | Sr. Marketing Communications Partner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workshop?**

I use Workshop to send emails and text messages to our employees, and I love how user-friendly it is. Workshop makes it easy to reach our frontline workers through SMS, ensuring they are informed. The analytics feature is great for seeing who is viewing the communications. The emails I can create are much more visually appealing compared to using Outlook, and the process to create and send an email is much simpler. I really appreciate how much the Workshop team actively works to solve our problems and develop new solutions, frequently releasing new features at least every quarter from customer suggestions. They are working on automating birthday and work anniversary texts to save us time, which is super helpful. The initial setup was pretty easy too!

**What do you dislike about Workshop?**

Nothing!

**What problems is Workshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workshop to send emails and texts, reaching frontline workers via SMS and offering great analytics on communication engagement. The emails are visually appealing, and the creation process is simpler than Outlook. Workshop's regular updates and automation features, like birthday texts, save time.
