**What do you like best about ContactMonkey?**

I really like how easy ContactMonkey makes it to design and edit emails, especially when using templates. The interface is intuitive, so I don’t have to spend a lot of time figuring things out. Customer support has also been very responsive and helpful whenever I’ve had questions.

**What do you dislike about ContactMonkey?**

One thing that could be better is the sending process. Right now, designing emails on the website and then importing them into Outlook to send feels a bit clunky. It would be much more convenient if there were an option to edit emails directly from Outlook 

**What problems is ContactMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool lets me notify all my stakeholders of the business updates and due to its simple and easy to use interface, designing emails looks fun as well as professional. It also shows a detailed analysis of the email metrics that helps me see user engagement with different topics.

We totally understand the frustration here. It might be helpful to know that the reason editing happens in the web app rather than directly in Outlook comes down to the limitations of Microsoft's add-in framework. It's optimized for sending and managing emails, but doesn't support the level of control our builder provides for designing templated HTML emails.

That said, feedback like yours genuinely helps shape where we take the product next. If you'd ever like to submit a feature request, you can do so through Canny or directly with your CSM.

**What do you like best about ContactMonkey?**

The tech support provided by ContactMonkey were super helpful. I had issues initially sending out my campaigns and the support was great. We had a one to one call and talked through the solutions. I feel like this helped me get to know the product better and use it to its fullest potential.

**What do you dislike about ContactMonkey?**

There's little that I dislike on ContactMonkey. I would like to be able to add dividers vertically as well as horizontal when creating emails as we use it for a newsletter.

**What problems is ContactMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to be able to use the analytics that ContactMonkey provides. We send out internal communications with it and it's great to see users interacting with the comms. It also allows users to click links and read into our comms further.

ContactMonkey continuously keeps up with trends ensuring that we have the best set of tools to help do our job effectively. 

**What do you dislike about ContactMonkey?**

I still dislike not being able to attach a document to an important email we have to send companywide. I also wish we could edit emails after they go out - even it was like only available within 30 minutes of a send. 

**What problems is ContactMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ContactMonkey has provided us with the metrics we've been seeking for so long. Seeing where each email stands, espeically the read rate, really offers us the opportunity to dive into how we can make the next email even more engaging.

On post-send editing: it's worth knowing this is actually a limitation of email as a medium, not something specific to ContactMonkey. Once an email is delivered to someone's inbox, no email service provider can modify it. That said, we do offer a few ways to catch and correct issues as close to send as possible:

It's also worth exploring ConfidenceCheck if you haven't already. It scans your email before sending and flags broken links, accessibility issues, typos, and other common errors, so you can fix problems in the editor rather than after the fact. For companywide sends especially, it's a really useful layer of protection.

**What do you like best about ContactMonkey?**

I use ContactMonkey to create engaging internal emails and newsletters and coordinate our internal events, and it provides email content that is visually superior to what we can produce through Outlook. The reporting tool allows me to understand if and how associates engage with the shared news and content. It syncs with our HRIS to create smart, accurate distribution lists for company news, which is incredibly helpful. I'm impressed by their team, who operate like a startup, consistently advancing their project by asking for feedback and improving. They are very quick to answer questions and provide support, which I greatly appreciate. The email list generator is extremely helpful for targeting the right audience, ensuring emails reach only those who need the information. The reporting tool has improved and offers substantial per-email insights, and their survey tool is excellent. Integration with Workday and Microsoft Azure for email lists simplifies the process, and the initial setup was quick and easy.

**What do you dislike about ContactMonkey?**

The reporting tool for individual emails works well, but the feature for groups of emails could be improved. Currently, it only generates a spreadsheet, which is not very informative. However, there is a commitment from the team to enhance this tool soon.

1. They added the tracking type 'Anonymous' which helped me to develop a more reliable performance report.
2. They added a new feature 'table' to insert the data in a table format.
3. They added the 'name tags' to make the emails more personalized.

I am the marketing and communications manager team of one. ContactMonkey has taken our internal communications to the next level and then some.  It was easy to learn to use and they continually work to improve the software and regularly introduce new advances and abilities. It's really made a big difference for us.

**What do you dislike about ContactMonkey?**

While they always get back to me when I need tech support, it's often the next day which is after I've completed that specific edition of our employee newsletter.

Moving from a monthly newsletter created in InDesign, this weekly digital newsletter has tightened up our communications and eliminated many of the all-staff emails going out.

**What do you like best about ContactMonkey?**

There are a lot of design options and I enjoy that you can save rows to reuse on other emails so you don't have to start over completely. We use it to send out monthly newletters internally and it works well for our small nonprofit. Customer support is amazing and I enjoy the check in convos and new info they share when possible.

I honestly don't have many complaints, though I do wish using the personalization features was a little more intuitive.

We recently used the individual tracking features to measure engagement with a needs assessment survey, it helped us target those who hadn't opened the email so that when we sent another round of communications we could send it to those users specifically.

Easy to use and intuitive email platform that does everything you want it to do. The platform isn't trying to trick you and isn't needlessly complex; everything works how you expect it to. I use it just about every day as part of my role.

**What do you dislike about ContactMonkey?**

The platform is missing a few quality of life features that I'm sure it'll grow into. One in particular would be being bale to send a test email directly from the editor instead of having to go through the send functionality.

**What do you like best about ContactMonkey?**

I've been using ContactMonkey for about 18 months.  I use it to produce and distribute a monthly newsletter, as well as a variety of other corporate communications.  Two of our IT teams also use it.  Between the three

I looked at 5 or 6  similar newsletter builder/email platforms before recommending ContactMonkey to my boss, and it has proven to be a star performer.  It does the job extremely well. 

The implementation was a breeze; it took our IT team almost no time to integrate it and have me up and running.  The platform is intuitive and works seamlessly with Outlook, giving me access to all our preset distribution lists.  And you can always upload a CSV file, too, and the analytics are very good.  It's also far less costly than competitive products.  

While the product itself is terrific, their customer service really stands out.  I have a primary customer rep who handled our training and has remained our primary contact for questions/issues.  Plus, there are always backups in place should he be unavailable. 

The company also sends out regular feature updates, most of which are customer-driven.  They've also established integration with other platforms, like Microsoft Teams, and they offer webinars on how to take advantage of that.

Simply put, there is very little I don't like about ContactMonkey

**What do you dislike about ContactMonkey?**

The biggest downside, and it's not much of one, is that the basic font set is limited and a bit boring.  I think offering the same fonts as MS Word should be standard.  You can pay for additional fonts, but the price is more than I can justify.

All the newsletter builder platforms I've seen build by content rows.  I'd like to also be able to drop in columns, as well.

**What problems is ContactMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ContactMonkey enables us to quickly and easily create and distribute a variety of professional-looking communications to all departments in our company.  The polling features and analytics are extremely beneficial, and we're performing at a higher level than we've ever performed.

**What do you like best about ContactMonkey?**

The fact that you can get analytics (click map option to check hyperlink engagement within an email is amazing) right after you send an email using ContactMonkey, and that sending a test or scheduling an email is simple. You can also send it to a selective list with n number of users, or to a Google group. It also let's you change the account name everytime, depending who you are sending it for (if you use a group email id).

**What do you dislike about ContactMonkey?**

I think there is nothing to dislike about ContactMonkey. Several updates in the tool have made it super easy, and awesome to use. But they could make the platform a little smoother, and faster, for improved experience.

**What problems is ContactMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The analytics allow me to see the engagement happening for different emails, across regions. Love that it also gives further detailed view of country > city and the timing where it was recently opened. Also, ease of building an email with different layout options and widgets, which is not an easy job via a normal mailbox. It saves me time, and I can create interesting emails using ContactMonkey.

**What do you like best about ContactMonkey?**

Thebest part of ContactMonkey for me is the ease of putting together and designing emails that are easy to read and scan, visually pleasing and very professional looking. Learning to use the tool was easy and the final product always looks great - clean and so professional. Excited to learn more! It's also great for people like me who are not necessarily well-versed in tech - Many of us in internal comms are primarily communicators, writers & editors - so it's  a pleasure to use a platform that is easy and intuitive to navigate. Also great for reporting to senior execs and seeing what's working and what's not at a glance - GREAT customer support - Always there when we need help!

**What do you dislike about ContactMonkey?**

I could do more sophisticated reporting if I had time - wish there was some way to get automated reports.  Dislike that it doesn't integrate with all video platforms.

**What problems is ContactMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CM helps me reach many people in a simple, easy to scan format and I can measure engagement quickly and easily for my various campaigns!

The integration with Microsoft makes it easy for me to align with our internal systems and utilize our existing distribution lists.

The system integrates really well, but not always easily with the Microsoft GCC system. We've had to create workarounds for some situations.

Since the system is incredibly user friendly, it makes it very easy for me to build the templates I need, adhere to our branding standards, and get communications out efficiently.

The interface is very user friendly and it's intuitive even for beginners.
Template builders works perfectly and covers it all.

**What do you dislike about ContactMonkey?**

Some functionalities don't work properly with G-suite (they are more appropriated for Outlook-users). 
We've had a number of issues with email at scale set ups and it took an extended period of time to fix it.
In situations where distribution from multiple different senders is requested, the tool faces troubles and cannot offer us an automated solution, instead we have to proceed manually with somewhat unhandy csv files.

It provides detailed analytics that will help us to get insights into our customers' preferences and expectations.

**What do you like best about ContactMonkey?**

Contact Monkey is more robust than some other programs out there. It is user friendly and we are able to create highly professional-looking emails in a matter of minutes. We have a large organization of 1300 employees and use it primarily for all our internal communications. Our internal communications department is very small and Contact Monkey is a vital tool for helping us achieve our communication goals on a daily basis. In addition, we have great customer service support which is essential.

**What do you dislike about ContactMonkey?**

There are areas that are still being tweaked by the developers for instance the sub-subject line is not existent and the work around is a little funky, but overall these are small in comparison to challenges I have had with other programs out there.

**What problems is ContactMonkey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are adding a lot of new integration options that will be helpful to our organization including integrating into our HR software so we can send emails/texts to employees based on department or demographic. Since it is linked to the HR software we won't have to go in and update employee lists on a regular basis which can be tedious.

ContactMonkey's tools are intuitive and easy to use. The formatting is a breeze, and almost any element that you want is completely easy to use. My company has over 1000 users of the software so we are using it daily. My favorite thing is how accessible, fast and efficient the support team is!! We love Adrian, Morgan, Sydney and team and they make the tool so easy for us.

ContactMonkey is first and foremost a formatting tool. I complete most design-heavy work  (custom headers, footers, complex graphics) outside of CM, but it is very easy for me to implement these elements into the template as an image!

Formatting options in the email builder are great and easy to use. I also enjoy that we're able to add GIFs within emails. Adding GIFS has helped with engagement in our monthly newsletters. Reporting features are also a huge help! Last year, they rolled out a Read Time metric that confirms how long users review communications. This feature has already added invaluable insight into what we need to do to increase engagement. Lastly, It's rare when a function doesn't quite work in the app, but when it's down, the IT team is responsive and can solve any issue within the hour.

The only item I wish Contact Monkey had was additional survey features (being able to submit multiple questions and advanced reporting features on survey responses). Looking forward to their planned advancements in this piece.

ContactMonkey integrates with my internal distribution lists that are created on the fly via our HR data so it's up-to-the-minute accurate. I was spending so much time adding new hires, removing termed employees and correcting departments and titles when there were promotions. With ContactMonkey I'm able to use the Outlook lists and I get metrics that break down by individual the response to the emails. I was skeptical that it could work but it has and I'm ecstatic. The account team has been amazing. The service we've received from ContactMonkey has been amazing. Our account rep was so helpful in getting the tool added to our system (talking with IT, continuing to check in on readiness, etc.) and was amazing in getting us trained on the product. He set up regular short check ins at the time we'd need the information vs. dumping a whole training on us out of the gate. He's been awesome and a critical component to our success.

Honestly, I havent found anything yet that I dislike.

It's very much geared towards Microsoft customers and the Google integration is limited. Whilst they have shared that this is on their roadmap, at the moment the options to make the most of the other features such as Events, just doesn't work for Google customers.

The template feature makes it easy to keep the look and feel of my newsletters consistent while easily switching up content each month. The image editing tool is a great built in feature that makes it easy to create custom looking pictures and the fact that it is all self contained means I'm never searching around for files.

I enjoy working with the team the most. Every time we have ideas or suggestions, they really listen to them and incorporate them into their product roadmap. In the rare instance an issue is encountered the team pivots quickly to fix it, and I always feel like I'm speaking with a human who wants to help, rather than a third party.

The product itself is very robust and sized well for our company. When bringing on the platform they quickly worked with our IT team to start and integrate the system with our company's existing platform.

They also took a good chunk of time to support and teach our users how to utilize the platform and that's greatly appreciated.

What is most helpful about ContactMonkey for me is making templates, building on past work, being able to add video and links and buttons, easy to import images, easy and fast reporting. I really enjoy how easy Contact Monkey is to navigate and use amongst our team. Great for helping with our internal email communications strategy and love the reporting and analytics features included with it. I also appreciate the quick and reliable customer service we have received.

I wish that there was Slack integration.

Contact Monkey helps with out internal communications strategy. It is great to have one place to send out our internal emails from and really appreciate the reporting/analytics to see what is working and what we could improve on.
