"Workshop makes internal communications easier, more engaging, and actually fun!"
5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

I can’t say enough good things about Workshop! The platform is incredibly easy to use and makes creating engaging internal communications a breeze. They’re constantly rolling out new features that make an already great platform even better.

One of my favorite things about Workshop is how easy it makes reaching employees where they are. Whether they’re viewing communications through email or on mobile, everything looks great and feels seamless.

The automation tools have also been a HUGE time-saver. Between Journeys and Cici, I’ve been able to streamline so many processes and get valuable time back. It’s clear that new features are developed with the user in mind, and the team is always finding ways to make our jobs easier.

But what really sets Workshop apart is the people. Their customer service is truly top-notch. Every single person I’ve interacted with has been genuinely kind, helpful, and invested in our success. You can tell they care about their customers and the work we do.

Workshop is so much more than just another communications tool. It’s a platform backed by an incredible team that makes my job easier and helps me do it better. I couldn’t recommend them more! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

There are no downsides of using workshop. In the beginning, I had a little trouble learning all of the features but with the new interface, it is super easy to use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Email & SMS Journeys with Cici AI’s Design Help"
5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

Workshop makes building an email easy. I can segment content within the email so the right people see the right message, without a lot of extra work.

Cici, their built-in AI assistant, is my favorite part. I’m a words-and-content person, not a designer, and she gives me a solid starting design to work from. That takes a huge lift off me. She also answers my analytics and reporting questions, so I don’t have to dig through dashboards to find what I need.

I love that email and SMS live in one platform. Journeys are great too. I can set up the sequence once and let it run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

Some of the layout and navigation isn't as user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Workshop Is Mission-Critical for Employee Comms—Powerful Integrations, Journeys, and Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

Workshop is in my top five applications I can’t imagine doing my job without. I would fight tooth and nail if I ever had to give it up.

We use it to reach about 2,400 employees, many of them on the manufacturing floor without a company computer, and we can actually see whether each message landed. Over two and a half years it has become our main channel for everything from weekly updates and open enrollment to leadership events and recognition.

What has provided the most value:

- It connects to the tools we already use. Workshop integrates with Dayforce (our HRIS), Microsoft Entra for SSO, and Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. Now there’s also an MCP connector, so I can work with our Workshop data directly in Claude. Our employee data stays current without manual work, and logging in is seamless for our 70+ senders.

- Dynamic audience lists. We maintain nearly 200 rule-based lists built from Dayforce attributes like location and team. When someone joins, moves or leaves, they land in the right audience automatically. We can target a single manufacturing facility or department without ever touching a spreadsheet.

- Email and text from one place. We’ve delivered more than 50,000 text messages to employees who rarely check email, using the same audiences and campaigns as our emails.

- Journeys. More than 20 automated journeys run on their own, including milestones like work anniversaries, so nothing depends on someone remembering to hit send.

- An editor anyone can use. With 180+ shared templates, an HR lead at a manufacturing facility can produce a polished, on-brand email in minutes without help from corporate.

- Results we can show leadership. Company-wide sends average around a 70% open rate, and campaign reporting shows exactly who was reached on high-stakes topics.

- Cici, their AI agent. I can ask plain-language questions about our performance and get answers in seconds instead of building reports by hand.

The people are the real differentiator. The Workshop team has been absolutely fantastic, whether it’s account management, a support question, or keeping me up to speed on what’s happening in the employee communications world. They’re some of the most helpful, friendly and innovative people I’ve worked with. Workshop has built a unique culture where I feel like part of the Workshop family just by being a customer. They’re deeply invested in the success of our employee communications program, and not in a salesy way. They want to learn from us to improve the product and strengthen the relationship. The community among Workshop employees and fellow customers is something I haven’t seen from any other vendor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

Honestly, it’s hard to find much to dislike. If anything, Workshop releases new features so often that it can be hard to keep up and make sure our 70+ senders are using everything available. That’s a good problem to have, and their team does a great job sharing updates, but it takes some effort on our side to keep everyone trained. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Second-to-None Support and an Easy Interface That Scales Across Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

The support that we get from the Workshop team is second to none. If I have an issue or a question, I get answers and resolutions in hours, not days. The team is friendly, responsive and knowledgeable.

I also love how easy the interface is to use, and uploading custom lists is a breeze. The peace of mind knowing that the tool is connected to our Azure instance and syncing regularly throughout the day is priceless. I always know that my lists are up to date.

We started out as a team of 2 using the tool and have now onboarded 3 other teams (and counting!) because they were so impressed with the emails and newsletters we were able to build in Workshop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

I would love it if Workshop provided custom design services so that we could create more sophisticated newsletter templates that use our brand colors and font. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Top-Notch Platform with Templates, Analytics, and a Fantastic Team"
5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

The ease of the platform. From the templates, CiCi, journeys, analytics and the syncing is all top notch and I couldn’t imagine going back to just using Outlook. On top of the actual platform itself, the team members have been such a pleasure it work with every step of the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Platform, Exceptional Customer-Driven Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

Workshop is a great, super helpful tool that I use every day. What I love most is the people. Everyone, from the founder and leadership to my account rep, dives into my questions and truly listens to my perspective. They want to solve a business need in the best way possible. At their annual conference, I asked for a live link to a formatted email draft that always reflects the latest version, and by that afternoon I had it. The team listens to how I work and adjusts the product to make my job easier. The system was so easy to set up, very intuitive, and easy to jump into. Since setting it up, I’ve had teammates ask for a seat so they can use it themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

"Workshop Simplifies Structured Collaboration into Clear, Actionable Outcomes"
5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

What I like best about workshop is how it simplifies structured collaboration and makes it easier to turn discussion into clear, actionable outcomes. it helps brings teams onto the same page quickly without getting lost in scattered conversations or lengthy meetings. The ability to organize ideas, align on priorities, and document decisions in a structured way is especially valuable . it ensures that everyone involved has clearity on what was discussed, what needs to be done next, and who is responsible for what. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

While Workshop is useful for structured collaboration, there are a few areas that could be improved. At times, the platform can feel a bit limited when it comes to advanced customization of workflows. For teams with more complex processes, having more flexibility in how discussions, tasks, or decision flows are structured would be helpful .Another area is integration depth. While it supports basic collaboration needs, tighter integartion with broader productivity or project management tools would make it easier to connect workshop outputs directly into execution workflows. "Workshop Streamlines Internal Communications with Fast, Intuitive Multi-Channel Messaging"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

It is a very effective internal communications platform that stands out for how quickly it helps teams create, manage, and distribute messages across multiple channels. The UI/UX is clean and intuitive, with a drag-and-drop style editor that makes it easy to build emails and internal announcements without any technical effort, saving a noticeable amount of time compared to more traditional tools. In terms of integrations, it connects smoothly with platforms like Slack and Microsoft Teams, which makes it simple to distribute the same message across different tools without duplicating work, improving consistency across the organization. Performance-wise, the platform is stable and responsive even when handling multiple campaigns or segmented audiences, which is especially useful for larger teams that need to send frequent updates. From a pricing and ROI perspective, while it may not be the cheapest option available, it justifies its cost by consolidating multiple communication workflows into one system and reducing the need for additional tools. The onboarding and support experience is also solid, with guided setup and helpful resources that make it easy to get started quickly and resolve issues when they arise. Finally, the AI and automation features are particularly valuable, allowing for better personalization of internal messages and reducing manual effort when targeting different employee groups, which ultimately improves engagement and efficiency across internal communications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

What I dislike about Workshop is that, while the platform is powerful, it can feel a bit complex when you start working with more advanced features like segmentation and multi-channel automation. There is a bit of a learning curve before you fully understand how to structure campaigns efficiently. Some users might also find that pricing becomes relatively high as the team scales or when you need access to more advanced analytics and automation features. Additionally, while integrations with tools like Slack and Teams work well, the setup for more customized workflows can take some time and may require support or documentation to get right. "Easy to Use, Always Improving, and a Reliable Communications Investment"
5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

I love how easy it is to use, and I appreciate that it’s constantly evolving. The team genuinely takes customer feedback to heart and uses it to keep developing the product into something that truly fits the needs of its end users. I’ve rarely seen a company treat feedback with this level of seriousness. It also integrated smoothly with my organization’s existing Microsoft Suite, and the ability to niche-segment our audience based on ADP traits is extremely helpful as well. Overall, the tool has been reliable, and it’s been the best investment my company has made for communications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

My biggest complaint is that Outlook doesn’t always perfectly mimic how emails are designed in Workshop, but that’s really down to how Outlook interprets the code. I also understand this is something the development team is actively working on and that it should be resolved soon. I do wish there were org chart logic so employees could be connected to their superiors for notification bumps, but overall, in terms of features, it does everything I need it to do. "Powerful Email Analytics with Seamless AD Integration and Smooth Onboarding"
5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

Analytics for our internal emails has been paramount in providing clear insights to leadership and helping drive our strategy to achieve our company goals. The platform is easy to use and integrates seamlessly with our existing AD to ensure no employees fall through the cracks. Workshop made the onboarding process easy and their resources have been delivered at the exact time I need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

The only drawback is that employees can’t see which distribution lists an email was sent to. This is important for our managers, so they know where the message went and can cascade it when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
