Does the job needed but not to the best of its ability. **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2018 **What do you like best about Smile.io?** It's pretty straight forward and easy for customers. **What do you dislike about Smile.io?** It generates coupon codes & doesn't allow customers to combine coupons once they redeem them. Very confusing to customers and causes a lot of CS Backlog. **Recommendations to others considering Smile.io:** I've enjoyed Smile.io for what it is... although it would be a huge improvement if rewards would auto apply to orders - that would be much better from the customers POV. **What problems is Smile.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** Customer Loyalty program. Loyal customers do benefit from this but also causes unneeded frustration. **Official Response from Sarah Facini:** > Hi there, Thank you for the early review of our product. Simplified Solution For Customer Referral/Reward Program **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2017 **What do you like best about Smile.io?** I like the ability to customize the email notifications to customers and they have great customer service. **What do you dislike about Smile.io?** I wish they had better integrations with ESPs, so that I could send emails directly from our ESP instead of using their internal tool. **Recommendations to others considering Smile.io:** I'd recommend this as great start placing for a referral and reward program. And the implementation requires almost no work at all. **What problems is Smile.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** The tool has allowed us to help encourage customer to purchase more through the reward program and share about us to their friends. **Official Response from Sarah Facini:** > Hi there! It's been a while since you wrote the review, but you'll be happy to know we have made some improvements with ESPs. We know that the merchants we support come in all sizes, so while our internal tool works great for those who want to set it and forget it (and just trust that it works!), we have seen brands want to bring their loyalty emails to their go-to email provider and incorporate them more holistically into their email strategy. So we are happy to work closely with our ESP partners (eg.
