What do you like best about Smile.io?

Very easy to use and learn - when introducing the software to onboarding staff, it's very easy to pick up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smile.io?

Our biggest gripe with Smile.io internally is that we cannot exclusive rewards to customers. Only products that are publicly available in our Shopify catalogue.

What do you like best about Smile.io?

This rewards program is very easy to use, and setting it up was even simpler. The initial setup was quick and completely trouble-free. I would definitely recommend trying Smile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smile.io?

There really isn’t much to dislike here. Perhaps it would be nice if there were more choices when it comes to rewards, or something along those lines. Still, I find it difficult to come up with any real complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Smile.io?

I've been using smile rewards since I launched my site 15 years ago. I did not fully expect it to be adopted by all of our customers but it has become an amazing sales tool for us. Not only does it work seamlessly with my shopify store but the team there are always so pleasant and helpful whenever I need to contact them - fixing any issue right away and offering insight and advice that has been extremely helpful. What do you dislike about Smile.io?

What do you like best about Smile.io?

The employees are friendly and always try to relay important information in a timely manner. I like how everything is accessible and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smile.io?

I would say the biggest downside is not being able to format emails seamlessly. Some pictures and fonts look off kilter and it is unfixable. I wish there were suggestions of phrases to use for a brand so that the customer email are coherent and able to personalize to a brand voice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Smile.io?

I like how easy Smile is to integrate with shopify, and any queries i've had have always been responded to very promptly and resolved quickly. The customer service is excellent and friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smile.io?

When on the basic plan it's not always clear for customers how to access/use their rewards. I also think the jump in price from the basic plan to the next plan up (where you can show customer rewards at checkout etc) is too much, especially for small businesses Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Smile.io?

Smile is very user friendly for both the merchant and the consumer. The Shopify app integration for the merchant is simple to get you going and there is a lot of room to expand the application so that you can maximize the acquisition capabilities and build it as a revenue channel. Customers can easily sign up and redeem their points along their purchase journey. We consider Smile an integral part of our marketing strategy for acquisition and building lifetime value. Smile.io has been a great tool for building customer loyalty. It was easy to set up and helped us launch a points system, referral rewards, and a VIP program without any trouble. We appreciate the platform but wanted to share two key challenges:

We’re unable to edit customer birthdays from the admin dashboard, which limits our ability to assist elderly customers. Also, after temporarily leaving and returning to Smile.io, past customer purchase history wasn’t retained, affecting rewards and VIP tiers—requiring manual updates each time.
