I use Ramp for all business-related purchases and find it very user-friendly. I love the text message feature because I can easily upload receipts immediately after purchase. Ramp sends me a text message prompt, saving me time and energy. What do you dislike about Ramp? There was one situation where my card was stolen and used for unauthorized purchasing. I was able to provision my Ramp card in Apple Wallet very quickly. That meant I could travel for work immediately after joining a new company and pay right away with Apple Pay, without having to file for reimbursement. They’re constantly upgrading the platform and making improvements, and it’s very user-friendly. This past year we have moved from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks On-line and I did have a few hiccups between QB On-line and Ramp (mostly user error), but those issues were quickly resolved. We recently starting using the reimbursement feature in Ramp for mileage and out-of-pocket expenses. I love this feature as I can go in and review submissions and send comments from that particular entry to users if I have any questions regarding it. I love that I can send reminders with just a click, too. I recommend it to everyone. Our staff love using Ramp for both credit card transactions and reimbursements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Ramp? The only downside for me is that there aren’t individual statements. I can download charges for individual users within the statement date range, but it’s a little time-consuming. Sometimes my exports fail when importing into QuickBooks. I’m not exactly sure why, but I did talk to a Ramp rep about it, and they said it was an issue they were working on. This issue has since been resolved. I also don’t like that I’m unable to sync any kind of documentation for mileage reimbursement. I have to take a screenshot and attach it to the mileage reimbursement entry, and I need that documentation for our audit. It’s a minor inconvenience overall. As I mentioned before, my main issue was with exports that would fail, either partially or completely. Ramp is especially helpful because it removes much of the friction and guesswork from expense management. The platform provides real-time visibility into spending, making it far easier to track budgets without having to wait for month-end reports. It also reduces the administrative burden: approvals, receipts, and categorization are largely automated, which saves time and cuts down on back-and-forth. What stands out most to me is the control layer. You can set clear spending limits and policies upfront, which helps prevent unnecessary or non-compliant spending before it happens, instead of trying to fix issues after the fact. That shift from reactive oversight to proactive control is a major operational advantage. It also strengthens accountability across teams because every transaction is visible and traceable in a single system, making reporting and reconciliation significantly faster and cleaner. The only challenge I’ve run into was when I made a purchase from a small or informal vendor who didn’t automatically provide a receipt. Before systems like this, tracking spending, collecting receipts, and reconciling transactions can be time-consuming and inconsistent, especially when relying on manual follow-ups and end-of-month reporting. With Ramp, expenses are captured and organized in real time, which significantly reduces the administrative workload around expense tracking and reconciliation. It also improves visibility into organizational spending, making it easier to understand where money is going without waiting for delayed reports. For me, the biggest benefit is reduced friction in day-to-day expense handling. Transactions are easier to document, approvals are clearer, and the overall process feels more structured and less reactive. I love how easy it is to collect the financial records that we need with Ramp, and being able to disperse funds to employees so they can do what they need to do in the field. I appreciate how it solves the paper trail problem by collecting receipts and storing them, lining them up to the correct expenses. It's great that each cardholder is held responsible for doing those tasks themselves. Additionally, Ramp was pretty easy to set up and it was super easy to get cards to our employees. Intuitive design with a real amplifying impact on expense management. Especially with a 1-man finance team. Ramp's made a visible/material impact on the org as a whole -- allowing me to help drive the growth in a responsible way. We previously used two traditional corporate cards, and it was a nightmare trying to navigate our spend and understand the financial implications across our tech stack. Support has been incredible, even when we were on the free plan. The AI tools and coding features have also been pretty decent so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Ramp? The lack of banking integration with Campfire has been a bit of a bummer. Also, the 1% Credit Card return doesn’t seem to actually come out to a full 1%. I’d like to give HR partial access to certain spend programs, but not beyond that. As of now, that kind of limited-access permission setup doesn’t seem to exist yet.
