"Powerful Spend Management with Best-in-Class UI/UX and Helpful AI"
5/5
What do you like best about Ramp?

What I like best about Ramp is the combination of powerful spend management capabilities with an exceptionally good user experience. The UI/UX is honestly one of the best I’ve seen in a finance platform. It’s intuitive, clean, and makes everyday tasks like managing cards, adjusting limits, reviewing expenses, and tracking spend across multiple entities much easier.

The AI capabilities are also excellent and genuinely useful in day-to-day work, helping make processes faster and reducing manual effort.

Another major strength is how quickly Ramp evolves. New features and improvements are released frequently, including enhancements for multi-entity management. I also really appreciate how responsive Ramp is to customer feedback, both through Customer Support and the Ramp Community. You can actually see customer needs and suggestions reflected in product improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

There are still a few bugs and limitations when working with our Israeli entity, which occasionally require manual workarounds.

The main area I would like to see improved is the budgeting functionality. Currently, it doesn’t fully support accrual-based budgeting or the proper treatment of prepaid expenses. For Finance teams managing budgets on an accrual basis, this can create a mismatch between Ramp’s budget reporting and the way expenses are actually recognized in the accounting system.

Better support for accruals and prepaid expense allocation would make the budgeting feature significantly more useful for financial planning and budget vs. actual analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ramp Makes Receipts, Budgeting, and Spend Tracking Effortless for Our Nonprofit"
5/5
What do you like best about Ramp?

Ramp has been super helpful in almost every way. In many cases, it has replaced QuickBooks for our accounting needs. Our nonprofit also gets better interest rates through Ramp than through our local bank, so it genuinely pays for itself. On top of that, you can use it for free—you don’t even have to use the premium features. We choose to anyway because Ramp works so well.

As a nonprofit, we’re required to keep receipts for everything, and Ramp makes that incredibly easy. We can create cards for specific vendors, and we’ve also set up company cards for our leadership team so we can track spending, stay under budget, and, as I mentioned, keep receipts organized. Their AI is smart and pretty cool. Ramp AI runs through your inbox (if you want it to of course) and pulls all receipts into the software so you don't need to manually upload most receipts. The receipts you have physically you can just take a photo of and send in a text with the memo / QB category like most familiar systems like Expensify.

The UI is modern and easy to use, and it includes dark mode out of the box, which I appreciate. It integrates with whatever AI you use, and it also integrates with QuickBooks, which is obviously necessary. Overall performance is solid—pretty much what you’d expect, but on the better end. It does occasionally lag, but not nearly as much as QuickBooks.

I haven’t needed to use customer support or advanced onboarding, but I did feel the software was straightforward enough that we didn’t need to be “onboarded” to get started. You can do a free trial of their Procurement system and talk with their support staff which is pretty nice. Their Procurement system was too advanced for our small nonprofit but it definitely looks useful. Their budgeting tools are great as well, they provide a dashboard with all your budget categories with analysis and stats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

There isn’t a whole lot to dislike about Ramp, especially considering you can use practically all of its features for free right out of the box. The main areas for improvement, in my view, are around the fact that it still isn’t a complete replacement for QuickBooks yet—which is fine, because it’s not trying to be one. Still, it feels so close that I’d love to be able to use Ramp as the primary source for our accounting, with QB as more of a supporting tool or backup safety net, rather than the other way around. "Best-in-Class Customer Service and Smooth Accounting Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about Ramp?

Customer Service! Ramp has the best customer service department ever! Next would be Accounting and integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

I’m an entrepreneur with some college-level accounting background, but I’m far from being an accounting professional. Even so, I still handle a large portion of the accounting and bookkeeping for our business. I’d really love to see Ramp start hosting presentations for those of us who aren’t accounting professionals but still have important accounting responsibilities. Maybe a "Ramp Accounting for Dummies" Zoom series or "Ramp Chicken Soup for the Entrepreneur Soul". I am giggling, but my request is genuine. :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Spend Management with Intuitive Features"
5/5
What do you like best about Ramp?

I find Ramp so easy to use, and I appreciate its intuitive AI and training capabilities. It's a reliable platform with strong admin tools, and they keep rolling out new features that I didn't even think about, which greatly benefit our organization and relieve pain points. I especially like how it manages travel policies, tracks them for us, and the amortization feature saves time during the month-end close. It syncs well with Sage Intacct, and I appreciate the 2-way writing between the platforms. The initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

I wish Ramp had accounts receivable capabilities so we could do everything in one trustworthy platform. I would love to give vendors an option to pay with links handling ACH payments or credit card information. It would also be helpful to generate invoices and apply credits as needed with easy linkable information for both the payor and us to view. Additionally, I would like the ability to change entity information if a bill hasn't been paid yet, as having to re-create bills due to the wrong entity is a pain point. Currently, we still use Bill.com for A/R because Ramp doesn't provide that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding Expense Management Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Ramp?

What I like most about Ramp is how it makes expense management feel simple, organized, and almost effortless. The real-time visibility, smooth approval workflows, and automation features help me stay on top of spending without the usual complexity that often comes with financial management. It gives teams the flexibility to move quickly while still maintaining strong control and transparency, and the overall user experience feels modern, intuitive, and thoughtfully designed. Overall, Ramp has made expense management a seamless part of our everyday workflow instead of a time-consuming administrative task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

The only minor challenge with Ramp is that, given the number of features available, it can take some time for new users to fully discover and utilize all the capabilities. A more guided onboarding experience or additional tips within the platform could make the learning process even smoother. Other than that, the overall experience has been extremely positive. "Effortless Spend Management with Instant Control"
5/5
What do you like best about Ramp?

Ramp makes managing spending for our non-profit really efficient by providing quick access to funds with the ability to set appropriate restrictions. I love how easy it is to capture and organize receipts and classify expenses. It also integrates directly with Quickbooks, which streamlines our accounting process. I really appreciate the control over who has access to funds and the flexibility to change it instantly. Changing the available fund amounts and generating virtual card numbers that can be easily adjusted are features I value highly. Setting it up was extremely easy, and it's become a significant help in our operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

I wish Ramp would send warnings when certain funds are almost used up so I can top them up before the month ends. Also, the classification of purchases isn't always right, and sometimes the vendor's name is incorrect. Reporting these issues doesn't always fix them accurately. "Ramp Makes Expense and Travel Management Seamless and Efficient"
5/5
What do you like best about Ramp?

5-Star Review for Ramp

Ramp has been an excellent tool for managing both expenses and travel. The platform is highly intuitive and easy to use, so it’s simple for employees and administrators to navigate. Whether it’s submitting expenses or tracking spending, the overall process feels streamlined and efficient.

A standout feature for me is the Travel functionality. Booking flights and hotels, as well as managing travel plans, is seamless and straightforward. It’s also well integrated with expense management, which saves time and removes much of the usual hassle that comes with business travel. Having travel bookings and related expenses connected in one place makes reconciliation and reporting noticeably easier.

Overall, Ramp has improved our efficiency, increased visibility into spending, and simplified our travel management process. I would recommend Ramp to any organization looking for a modern, user-friendly solution for expense management and business travel. The ease of use, automation, and strong travel features make it a valuable tool for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revolutionized Our Payment Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about Ramp?

I really appreciate Ramp's ability to create virtual cards for different vendors and expenses. It's a huge relief knowing that if a card number gets compromised, I don't need to reset multiple accounts. The user interface is great and keeps evolving with new features, which has revolutionized the payment experience. I find it incredibly useful that I can link virtual cards to specific codes in our accounting system, saving us a lot of time. Plus, setting maximum amounts on virtual cards helps us stay on budget and prevents credit card fraud. Ramp has been easy to set up and use, and I'm such a fan that I even advocated for its adoption by our parent company when we were acquired. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

It would be great if Ramp had a browser add-in that would allow me to access a sizeable list of virtual cards at the time of payment rather than looking them up manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Fast, and Intuitive—Receipt Uploads Made Simple"
5/5
What do you like best about Ramp?

Easy to use, fast, and intuitive. I can upload receipts directly from my phone, which makes the whole process much simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

One area I find challenging is understanding the distinction between some of the evaluation categories. In my role, research, farm operations, outreach, and project management are closely integrated, so it can be difficult to separate my work and performance into clearly distinct categories. More clarity on how each category is defined—along with what specific responsibilities, deliverables, or outcomes are expected within each one—would help me complete a more consistent and accurate self-assessment. "Effortless Receipt Management, Seamlessly Automated"
5/5
What do you like best about Ramp?

I find Ramp incredibly helpful for managing receipts and making accounting effortless. It basically does all the work for me, storing receipts automatically without needing me to take pictures. It's just awesome how easy it is to add an account to a receipt and let Ramp handle the rest. I love how it streamlines the process, making accounting super easy and efficient. Ramp even finds receipts in my emails, saving me the hassle of looking for them. Ongoing charges like subscriptions show up in my account needing just a code number, not the receipt itself, which makes it very, very easy to manage. It's way better than the old system of having to keep physical receipts and turn them in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
