**What do you like best about Pax8?**

I've had good luck with my representative at Pax8, who helps me find different vendors that can provide the right solutions for my clients. Their vendor relationship works perfectly for what I need, allowing me to supply my clients with the software products they want, such as Microsoft 365 and QuickBooks. This relationship facilitates providing a comprehensive service to my clients.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

I think having more one on one time with a service partner helps maybe a little bit easier to find your commissions. Right now, it's really difficult to find.

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Pax8 to provide software solutions like Microsoft 365 and QuickBooks to my clients. It allows me to find different vendors that work for solutions, making it a perfect vendor relationship for my needs.

I find the management portal of Pax8 easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

I find it tough that Pax8's support doesn't directly handle issues with Microsoft applications. I had to rely on Microsoft support for those problems. Pax8 doesn't seem to have that level of support in our partnership. Also, the cost isn't competitive compared to other Cloud Service Providers. I wish their customer service was better, especially for all aspects of Microsoft licensing and applications.

I find Pax8's management portal easy to use, but their support for Microsoft Applications and pricing aren't meeting my needs.

When it comes to sales, they are more than willing to assist you — friendly, fast, and eager to close the deal. But the moment you run into real issues, their attitude completely changes. Support becomes unresponsive, unwilling to help, and in many cases just disappears.

Think twice before working with Pax8.
Our experience with them has been nothing short of frustrating. The customer service is extremely poor, and the support team is completely unqualified. Despite claiming to be experts in Microsoft support, they clearly lack the necessary knowledge and experience.

When it comes to sales, they are more than willing to assist you — friendly, fast, and eager to close the deal. But the moment you run into real issues, their attitude completely changes. Support becomes unresponsive, unwilling to help, and in many cases just disappears.

Even our account manager had to fight his own internal support team just to try and get basic things done. That says enough.

I would never recommend anyone to partner with Pax8. They are disorganized, incompetent, and only focused on selling — not on supporting their partners afterwards. Avoid them at all costs.

I like their customer service the best. I enjoy having a real person I can call whenever I need.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

I do not have any specific dislikes with Pax8, most of my frustration has been due to the product itself.

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to solve the problem of having to deal with multiple vendors to get the things we need for our business. A benefit of this is being able to have someone that will act on our behalf with the vendor to make the situation right.

It's very easy to use and their support is fantastic when I need it.

Not much - I would like to see them have more vendors in their catalog so that I could utilize Pax8 for more vendor relations.

Pax8 is a great partner with tons of resources and staff to make the purchasing, reselling, and support experiences effortless.

Support escalations can often take a full day or more. Experience is good but slower than what we'd like.

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily for Microsoft licensing. However, Pax8 does offer several other business software tools available, as well as an attractive pricing model that integrates well with billing.

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

The catalog is simple to use to find what we need.  If there are software titles that we're not sure about, we have a direct account team we can connect to that are subject matter experts in their particular vertical to help us make the right software choices.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

Sometimes the account team can get stuck in a repetitive cycle on certain titles that we're either not ready to use or don't have. specific need yet.  Microsoft licensing can still be confusing to determine exactly what we need, which isn't specifically a Pax8 problem, but it is something that I wish they would help make easier.

**Recommendations to others considering Pax8:**

Compared to other companies that offer a similar service, Pax8 is worth checking out.  There are some titles that we choose to spend more with Pax 8 that will save us time and effort further upstream.

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pax8 helps us simplify our channel software procurement and spending by creating a simple way to see what is available, purchase the licenses our customers need, and keep them associated with customers end-to-end.  It integrates with our PSA to synchronize purchases directly with our invoices.  Additionally, they provide training, demos, webinars, and trials for software that we may not yet use so that we know how to offer it to our customers.

We mostly use the cloud licensing, but we have engaged their professional services on a Teams/telephony project and an AVD deployment

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

Pax 8 was very professional and knowledgeable on the projects, all were completed on time and on budget. For our licensing purchases, the are very responsive and their support is fast and friendly.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

I don't really have anything that I can say that I dislike. There was a time where something wasn't right in the portal, things looked missing, but when I called, they said that they did have an issue with the site and it would be resolved shortly (and it was)

Pax8 has a lot of great resources, leverage them.

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small MSP firm in Canada and sometimes we need expertise that we just don't have on staff, Pax8's professional services filled those gaps. On the licensing side, their system integrates well with our PSA so licensing/billing is always up to date.

Pax8 has helped us with migrations to Office 365. They've helped us evaluate products to introduce into our technology stack. They're always there when asked.

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

The people.  Pax8's team is the best.  Everyone is always willing to help as much as needed.  For operations in the business, having the consolidation of billing is helpful.  Having a single place to go for support, sales, billing makes us more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

There are two or three vendors that Pax8 has that make it extremely difficult to get support directly from the vendor. This can be challenging if there are urgent support situations.

**Recommendations to others considering Pax8:**

Having Pax8 as a strategic partner has been instrumental in our growth and success.   We built our technology stack largely around Pax8’s line card because of the knowledge and support from their amazing team. We are confident that we provide best-in-class tools for our clients.

Our Pax8 team is continually interested in our success.  They not only helped us build the suite of products we sell to our customers, they help with sales, training, implementation, and anything else needed to get a new offering off the ground.  I can count on them being there whenever we need them for questions, concerns, or support.

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

Pax8's best asset is that they genuinely care for their partners.  They could just try to sell everything they offer, but they seek to understand what you are trying to accomplish and build the stack around that.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

Realistically, we don't have any significant dislikes around Pax8.  You can certainly feel some growing pains from time to time, but we know that growth is to help us in the future further, so it is worth any growing pains we go through with them.

**Recommendations to others considering Pax8:**

I would highly recommend using Pax8 for anything cloud.  I would also recommend all the other value-added services they offer.

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pax8 solves several problems for us.  First, they offer cloud products to us in an easy-to-consume format.  They also solve billing issues that are common with other distributors.  Plus, they make the products available almost instantly after we buy them.  In addition to products offered, they have built our training, peer groups, and enhanced support offerings available when we need them.

Multiple clients who require MS 365 license changes, updates, and removal. I'm in the application daily, researching information for clients, as well as making changes that show up in their 365 tenant almost immediately.

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

Love how quick the response time is between Pax8 and Microsoft. The navigation within the site is super easy and easy to read, easy to work. Searching is intuitive, doesn't leave you frustrated.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

Seems like there's just way too much happening on the splash page. If we can reduce that (as a default setting), and then allow the user to customize, I think that would work better, and not feel overwhelming.

Do these reviews so that G2 can always improve on their products.

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not really problems per say, just making license purchases and changes on behalf of our clients. The catalog is pretty extensive (and impressive), so it's my first go-to for any applications clients are inquiring about.

Getting my Microsoft licensing squared away properly.  We were in need of consolidating licensing and receiving the full benefits of our partnership with Microsoft, and Pax8 helped us to get that in place.

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

My rep got the resources I needed to assist with getting done what we needed to get done.  With the right people on the call, we could get our clients' licensing squared away quickly.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

There are maybe a few products that the licensing structure isn't perfect when purchasing through Pax8, but in these cases, the licensing structure is usually an issue with the vendor themselves and not Pax8.

**Recommendations to others considering Pax8:**

For the MSP world at least, there is no better licensing partner to work with.  They are helpful, there when you need them, and always happy to do what it takes to assist with anything you bring to them!

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem we are solving with Pax8 is keeping track of our per client licensing within our PSA.  Pax 8 makes it easy to sync that licensing to our agreements and bill our clients accurately.

When we onboarded with Pax8 they provided Casey Weaver as our point of contact. Casey gave us the full treatment. Took a full catalog of our user base, their licenses, and what was needed to move them over. We knew everything we needed to know to get our customers moved over and Casey was an absolute delight in every step!

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

I like that we can easily and efficiently assign licensing to our customers and very seldom do we have any hangups on getting things done. When we do see an issue, Pax8 and our account rep are quick to address the issue and get us back on track.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

There's nothing I could point to that we do not like. Sometimes when we have an issue that requires microsoft to step in directly, their support is less than adequate but this should not reflect on Pax8.

We found Pax8 through a sysadmin reddit thread and have been so incredibly happy! They are totally worth working with!

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have clients that cycle through staff pretty regularly and we need to be able to easily move licenses around to add or remove capacity. The benefit of Pax8 is that we are easily able to do this with a few simple clicks.

Since coming onboard in October of 2018 as a partner, the entire Pax8 team from top to bottom has been hugely valuable in all aspects of our business. From backend operations including syncs of products into client agreements, to professional services delivery, to pre-sales technical guidance, to learning sessions and webinars the Pax8 team has been an enormous asset to our team. Our account management team has been dedicated, knowledgable and highly responsive. I would refer any potential partner to work with Pax8 for their needs.

The responsiveness of our Account management team, the ease of operations in the online portal and knowledge and expertise of the technical resources.

Working with other vendors and partners usually ends up being a dissapointment. The Pax8 team sets a high bar.

The command console provides a single pane of glass management tool and a streamlined billing operation.

Pax8 has a wingman program.  No one has your back and is more your wingman than Pax8.  From all the wonderful webinars and training and resources, Pax8 is more successful when we are more successful, it's a business model that many tech companies attempt, and few are successful.

I know that I can always reach out and get any type of support without jumping through hoops.  It is one of the best things we have done for our business and our clients.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

I have yet to find a downside.  Hopefully I won't but nothing is perfect, but because Pax8 spells out their goals and intentions I don't see that I would be let down.

Licensing issues. and helping us to move to more cloud-based solutions and allowing us to help clients that we may not have been able to do with a traditional model.

PAX8 has turned into our go-to distributor whenever possible.

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

They have a team dedicated to your account which is so much better than the random assignment or reps we have gotten at other distributors (looking at you Ingram).

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

We had a backup and archiving project, using their highly recommended tool, go sideways.  The tool (DropSuite) may work for small use cases, but they fell over backward when we needed them to ingest historical archive data.  We were told it would take them months to import ~4TB of data.  PAX8 helped somewhat, but it was clear that Dropsuite was their priority in this situation.

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized purchasing for many of our common software products, single point of contact, streamlined processes.  Overall much smoother process than when dealing with some other distributors.

Pax8 helped us overhaul and organize all of our client subscriptions in a way that is easy to update and maintain and that keeps both our company and our clients happy.  Before Pax8, our billing was a bit of a mess but since engaging with them years ago, our overall billing process is super streamlined and organized.  I would highly recommend Pax8 to other companies if you are looking to improve your day to day and quality of work.

Occasionally there are tech glitches on the website or new products aren't yet available.

Pax8 provides many great webinars and in-person sessions (before COVID) that are packed with knowledge from various software vendors as well as general knowledge about the subjects being presented.

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

I like their simplified web interface the most. They are the first reseller that I've encountered that has a simple and easy to use web interface for purchasing software licenses and subscriptions.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

There are some software licenses that they don't have available for purchase, but alas they can't resell everything. I wished they resold Microsoft VLSC licenses.

**Recommendations to others considering Pax8:**

Evaluate your current reseller to see if it's simple and easy to use. If you're hesitant at all, switch to Pax8 and enjoy the simplicity, it's definitely worth it in the end.

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to consolidate the majority of our licenses in the Pax8 Portal, which makes it much easier to find and process. This makes it easy for our Techs because they only have to deal with one license reseller for 95% of our licenses.

I have not used Pax8 for a project.  We buy most of our clients' Cloud Software through Pax8.

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

For me, the best part of PAX-8 is how well they integrate with ConnectWise Manage to make billing for Cloud Services quick and easy.  I can add/remove licenses as needed throughout the month, and the prorations sync correctly.  I have to bill for a few products that Pax-8 does not carry, and it isn't straightforward to make those manual adjustments.  Any product we use that is available from Pax8 we happily purchase through Pax8.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

The downside is the division of responsibility for any issues.  Sometimes we are supposed to go through Pax8 for a problem, and sometimes we are supposed to go directly to a vendor.  It is not always clear where to go first for an answer.  Anything that involves help coordinated from both Pax8 and an individual vendor often involves a run-around getting all parties to the same conversation.

The biggest benefit is the time I save syncing client subscriptions directly into my invoices every month.

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

The fast response.  I've been given suggestions almost immediately.  I have setup appointments with Nick Swinimer a few time for simple clarification on something, and he's been wonderful to help.  I musch appreciate him.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

The last ticket I had created, wasn't covered under contract, but the response wasn't very helpful.  It was a "too bad" type answer.    I also had another ticket, that was unsolved due to a user leave, BUT it was only unsolved due to the constant back and forth with the user.  MORE ideas at once would have solved some of the back and forth with me in the middle.

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InTune issues.  A motherboard was replaced with a refurb.  This refurbished motherboard was enrolled in InTune, causing ME not to be able to enroll into our InTune environment.  With Pax8's help, I was able to get Microsoft to reset that account.  It was a huge mess, but Pax8 was helpful.

We use Pax8 for all of our Microsoft licensing and most other third-party SaaS-based offerings we have. We have also used their Professional Services for Azure deployments when our resources were overbooked.

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

Their pricing and margins are very competitive, but their service and support are far above what we experienced with Ingram or other vendors.  When it comes to Professional Services projects, they are always professional and more than competent.  The "boot camp" training and educational opportunities they provide have also helped skill up some of our techs faster than we can do organically.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

During recent expansion and reorganization, there was a bit of a communication gap with some of their team members.  Given the amount of growth they have done, I guess a certain level is expected, but it was frustrating while it was happening.

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have grown our Microsoft business exponentially over the last two years with Pax8, both from a financial and maturity standpoint.  Pax8 has also made the process of vendor partnerships much easier and has lead to an increase in our security services offerings for all our clients.

I have used Pax8 for the past 3 years, It has helped us keep track of our client's licenses as well as made adding, changing and removing very simple. Clients can also get access to monitor and add licenses. The portal is simple and easy to use. Very fast provisioning!

The ease of making changes to licensing. Whether its add, remove or change, the process is straightforward.

There could be better reporting. Nothing beyond this is missing everything works perfectly

Pax8 took the very manual process of reconciling billing for both ourselves and clients and made it a smooth and consistent process that takes minutes instead of days to complete.

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

Pax8 has a very responsive team and makes working through questions or issues simple

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

Pax8 only true limitation is a limited line card. This is due to their restrictive process on how they add vendors, but does mean it can't supply all vendors you might require.

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamline our licensing process and also our vendor vetting process on new solutions that we want to add to either our internal tools or client delivery and security solutions.

I only got the chance to speak with PAX8 once or twice. Yesterday I talked to one of the agents (PAX1782442), and he didn't only help me resolve the issue. Still, he seemed knowledgeable and answered all my curious questions about SentinelOne, being a tech person myself. So my issue wasn't only resolved, but I also learned something good.

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

To speak to a knowledgeable tech that knows what he's talking about and shares his knowledge with others.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

I will have to wait for other opportunities to speak to Pax8 and see if there is something I dislike.

PAX8 Command Console is very user friendly and responsive. Support is top notch.

Nothing, their culture is anti-customer and abusive toward customers.

The culture, their legal VP who partakes in gaslighting, falsifying information and statements, baiting customers and illegally personally attacking customers.

We already used Maas360, and, because we were too small, we were being forced to resell under another provider.  We were forcibly pushed to Pax8, for some reason.

We were with another cloud distributor for Office 365. Large company that you'd find on the Fortune 100. They were a pain to deal with and whenever there was an issue, it was weeks before resolution. Pax8 took over all our Microsoft cloud licenses and it's been smooth sailing.

**What do you like best about Pax8?**

The people. Easy to get a hold of and get support, and the person you talk to generally knows that they're doing.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

They get a bit salesy sometimes, but they're honest about it. Sometimes their bosses will force them to pitch something they really don't believe in (Pax8 Pro, anybody?)

**What problems is Pax8 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Licensing is a pain in the butt. Pax8 makes it so much easier and their subject-matter experts make it easier to decide and figure out which products you need.

Pax8 makes software purchasing and licensing easy, and it's all in one spot. We use Pax8 for all of our partners' Microsoft licensing.

All the licensing in one location and the ability to sync directly to the agreement in Connectwise Manage.

The only drawback is support. The Pax8 team also supports any product licensed through Pax8. In some situations, this can prove difficult, especially when there is back and forth with information.

As soon as I send an email to support, they respond within minutes usually, and 95% of the time have the answer to the issue I am having.

A few times, I have had issues where I felt a few agents did not seem to know what to do and did not seem to ask for help until I persisted. rare

PAX8 makes purchasing office 365 and security related products easily and have excellent service if you need any assistance whatsoever

License management is quick and easy. Purchasing new or in bulk is a breeze. Support is responsive and proficient.

None that I've seen yet! Pax has always been there when we needed them.

We evade the ambiguous venture of purchasing from Microsoft directly, which always seems to have its own host of issues.

They are our "Go To" vendor for all things Microsoft. Recently we migrated our Azure instances over to PAX 8 from a very large distributor. They made the transition very easy and they're always available to assist with any support issues or questions regarding anything really. Their billing syncs with our PSA. This alone has been a Godsend! Great company! Great people!

I can't pick. Customer support and billing sync.

There are no dislikes. Nothing else left to say.

Customer service is fast, and immenesely helpful. I've been able to open tickets and have responses within minutes, rather than days as I've experienced with other providers.

I don't have any dislikes at this time. Everything is as expected.

Client licensing concerns - Benefits are ease of management, single pane of glass, and clear invoicing. This lets our engineers focus on the big picture stuff rather than be in the weeds with licensing.

Easy to use interface for locating software and creating pricing quotes.  Can set up customers once and easily add more products to them as they grow our service lines.

Support could occasionally be more efficient though they are already significantly better than most vendors.

PAX8 provides us with an easy centralized management of Office365 products.

Limited interaction with anyone and the automation to add/modify the items the subscription makes it easy and quick to manage.

**What do you dislike about Pax8?**

When having to engage Microsoft Support it has to go through the CSP first which usually takes twice as much time and typically has not proven as helpful as working with Microsoft directly.

Workgin on the tech side and not billing side it makes it easy and quick to manage and edit multiple licenses and i dont have to worry about alerting anyone of billing.
