The biggest differentiator between Proposify and other solutions that lead us to buy was their discount calculation and display that no one else we looked at could do. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** The term I use is their tool is very "sensitive". If you don't click on the exact spot in Proposify to do something, the error loop is so unbelievably frustrating. Having to just fiddle with their UI to get the text editor to pop up or move in and out to get it to "work right" has been very disappointing. Mobile signature doesn't work so our VP has basically given up on using Proposify. Customers being able to access their proposals and sign have had some glitches. Onboarding experience was not as easy as sales pitched and took 3x as long as we were promised. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Better, more professional proposal and quoting. The editor is super simple and user-friendly and has all the tools I need to get that e-signature. Also, love the live view that lets me see how many times someone has viewed the agreement and for how long. Awesome tool! **What do you dislike about Proposify?** Not much I dislike, to be honest. If I were to nitpick, I'd say the editor could be developed a little further. I don't need too many bells and whistles for service agreements, but some extra fluidity and features would be cool to see. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** I couldn't find a basic digital solution for sending client agreements and collecting e-signatures, without paying for some over the top monthly subscription. We utilize the breaking system in the template and copy and paste for quick delivery. The structure is clean, and the support is typically quick if not practical. I like reading the blog posts on Proposify to help me, a sales account executive, make better decisions when it comes to my prospects, my proposals and just my time in general. We've made a total of 7 different TYPES of template proposal formats on different levels that allow for all those in the company to contribute. I love the feature of being able to edit quickly, even after it's been sent, and the clean format when you print or make a pdf copy. I love the video integrations. We utilize many youtube videos and demos for our clients and it's easy to build into the proposal. I'd love to be able to create a custom thumbnail as you can in Youtube (you can pick from a slide of 4). We are also exploring using video and Propsify is integrated for it. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** Proposify can be a little spotty when it comes to the web browser. Whenever I try to right-click a word I've misspelled, it won't let me like I would typically do for a Google doc. I have to thoroughly highlight the word and go back to review the entirety of my document or word text. It can be finicky when you're trying to highlight and move things around. I'm a little OCD with my proposals and things don't often look right when I send it after the fact. For example, sometimes words in a white color with a blue background turn black for no reason. It's not Proposify's fault but we have a LOT of old-school clients who just don't "get it" and we often have to print a hard copy and manually sign and scan. Proposify can sometimes just randomly close me out of a proposal - maybe I'm hitting a key but thank goodness it saves and it tells you when it saves when the little icon is greyed out. I will say it can be finicky but I know their customer support is always on top of it and responsive. **Recommendations to others considering Proposify:** Take the time to make templates for any proposals. We have them for particular clients (marketing vs advertising clients) trade proposals and our specialization proposals. By having these preplanned ahead of time, it can be much faster and easier to get started. I would also recommend you hide others works so that you can focus on your own proposals and tasks. Always make sure when you send a proposal to include an automatic follow up. We are still dipping our toes in the water with Proposify but our CEO is really excited about the prospects and we have moved everything over —we probably put out around 5 proposals a week and previously just used a Word doc that we converted to a PDF. These templates got rather messy and inefficient. Being able to save templates and pages as templates is saving us time. Text styles are hard to make consistent and things like paragraph line height, headings, etc do not quite match across all pages of the proposal.
