It is taking me hours to put together proposals. No real product development. Doesnt integrate as well as I'd like. Prospects/clients cant always access their proposals. Download functionality breaks frequently. Mobile app is terrible. Its more complicated than it needs to be. Setup and maintenance are difficult and time consuming. We're migrating away because its become yet another tool that someone needs to "manage' instead of it "just working". Its a bummer we put a ton of effort into our proposal templates but the pricing tables are constantly glitching, and the font/editor just... randomly removes all formatting. Copying and pasting is non functional. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Its creating problems unfortunately ### 2. Functionality should be more intuitive, less cumbersome. Key strokes and basic editing methods should be more similar to existing mainstream design-type products. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking and integration with hubspot and being able to access, duplicate, and edit sections from (or entire) previous proposals saves me time and helps me keep track of what and when I've sent in one place. ### 3. Frequently once I have finished a proposal and checked that it is ready to send to a customer, I copy the customer link and send it, only to find formatting errors. I now have to waste time checking it in incognito, before making a number of changes due to random formatting errors. **Recommendations to others considering Proposify:** Check your proposals before sending them to clients. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm able to create proposals quickly and the branding is consistent and smart. It's a great tool BUT without signature forwarding **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Franco C. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2020 **What do you like best about Proposify?** Very clean design, you can build highly professional templates and manage them across the team. Very easy to edit and send new proposals. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** The number one reason why I wouldn't recommend Proposify is the lack of signature forwarding functionality (unless you upgrade to the Venti plan with 10+ users). Signature Forwarding is such a basic feature in 2021 (it was in 2006 when EchoSign came out). It happens 50% of the times that someone else other than our champion needs to sign (or countersign) the agreement. With Proposify, they must email us and ask to send the agreement to a different person. Then we need to edit the proposal, add the new contact on the signature fields, and resend it. You can easily lose a potential customer this way in a competitive environment. For a software that is trying to simplify the proposal process, this is a big red flag. **Recommendations to others considering Proposify:** If you have a large team, this software is great. However, without Signature Forwarding in the starting plans, I would definitely consider one of the competitors that offer that functionality (unless you want to risk to lose a potential customer because of delays in sending the proposal to the right person). **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Simplifying and improving the proposal and agreement signature process. **Official Response from Elise Snow-Kropla:** > Hi Franco, Thanks for taking a moment to leave us your feedback. Expectations of the tool that were promised to our team have been wildly inaccurate. There are lots of bugs with: the salesforce integration, the fee tables, the workflow. **Recommendations to others considering Proposify:** I recommend planning out phases of implementation if you have a lot of templates to move over because it will help when you're looking at a bunch of templates and you're overwhelmed with where to start. Another great practice is to pdf all your old templates and tie them to Salesforce if you're not doing that already so you have the ability to look back on old terms without moving all of them into your new platform. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Proposify enables us to take our customers through the buying journey and depict it in a way we were never equipped to before switching. **Official Response from Elise Snow-Kropla:** > Hi Savana, Thanks for taking a moment to write a review! Idea is good - but their UX could be so much better **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2019 **What do you like best about Proposify?** In theory it should be a fast and easy way to create proposals that look good and you can still customize a bit for each one. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** Everything is slow - the system, the number of steps and clicks to do something and their support team. There are too many clicks to do simple things - they don't put them in the right spaces, and when you click the wrong thing - it is hard to go back and change it. **Recommendations to others considering Proposify:** You get what you pay for, and they are definitely cheaper than some of the alternatives. It has the potential to be a great product - but they don't seem to listen well to customers. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can quickly (ish) get proposals out to people and there is an auto reminder if they don't open it which is great and saves a step of follow up on my part. The user interface is modern and easy to use. The pricing is fairly inexpensive, compared to other proposal generators. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** There are a lot of little bugs that can make working within proposify very frustrating. You can't search the image library for specific images, which makes it very difficult to add in the photos you've put into your library. There are bugs with changes not being saved and it's very difficult to have multiple users logged in at the same time. **Recommendations to others considering Proposify:** give it a trial and see if you can stand the bugs and errors. it's a good concept, I'm just hoping they'll do some updating. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes sending out our proposals much easier.
