Being able to edit a section and then have that edit propagate to all of the templates where it is in use is pretty great. Having it store colors is really handy, too. I don't have to search for the same RGB/Hex color codes over and over. It makes it really easy to use the company's official colors without a hassle. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** A search-and-replace function is desperately needed. There are lot of times when I paste a block of text from Word and it winds up with double spaces in a lot of places where there hadn't been double spaces before. Being able to search for double spaces and then replace them with a single space would be a real time saver. I get frustrated by the formatting sometimes, such as the line-height. Copying and pasting can also be a problem at times, such as copying from one place in a document and then pasting and losing some of the formatting. **Recommendations to others considering Proposify:** Consider using it if your current process is just an ad-hoc use of Word. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me get routine proposals done really quickly. I can switch bios and other sections back and forth using the section library. I can start and finish a proposal very quickly. Re-ordering sections to match the requirements of the request for proposals is really easy, too, which saves a lot of time. This is definitely one place where it is much easier to use than Word. ### 2. I have set blocks of services I can drop in, the quote is easily customizable and the contract is included. Adding photos/bios of the team is a real bonus. But the best is the digital signature. I don't have to chase clients to sign. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** The tables for quoting are a bit hard to master but once you do it puts the total where you need it for payment and in the contract. **Recommendations to others considering Proposify:** You need to spend a little bit of time learning how the templates work. Take the time to set up the first proposal correctly with your branding, colors, team players, contract and even case histories. This will benefit you immensely because you'll be able to copy this proposal for the next one or create templates. Then the software will start working for you. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** I need to present custom proposals for many projects. Everyone seems to need something different. Proposify makes it faster to do this, but, more importantly, it looks so professional. I find it really interesting that no one has asked for a single revision to the services, price or even contract since I started using Proposify. They appear to be either too impressed to do so. That's been a huge benefit for me. I get them to sign off on what I recommend rather than negotiating further. That has directly impacted my bottom line for every project. ### 3. From the modular approach to the ability to use graphics and videos, it is far better than the proposal app I had been using—and beat out the others I considered before switching. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** Variables should be visible for dropping into proposals when in Full Screen mode. Probably best to add the "< >" button to the font style bar. It would be nice to have global replace for variables already used within a document, too. Not much to dislike, these are more like feature requests. If I could add any other features, I would love a less expensive option to have every month or to have the option to add a CRM to manage clients and current projects. Once we found proposify it quickly became apparent we were wasting our time and could achieve better-looking results faster with their software. I could not expect that my close rate would go up but I think the strong first impression from our well-written proposals has absolutely have an impact. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** Paying for anything stinks but there is clearly value in having this in our tech stack. There really is not a lot to unlike about the software. It clearly is well designed and thought out. It also integrates seemlessly with hubspot and that makes it really valuable for an agency like ours. **Recommendations to others considering Proposify:** They just launched their free product which I would try. I used the 2 week trial and by the time it was over I was convinced. This is a really strong software solution for proposals and I would strongly recommend it to my friends and not my competition because of how helpful it is. There's needs to be a more in-depth on-boarding process so we can appreciate the system more. I also like the tools available to customize and design the quotes. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** Sometimes using the platform can be very tedious because it bugs out randomly, forcing you to reload the page to get it working again. Assets on the quote can suddenly become impossible to select, the toolbar for text will not pop up, table rows become impossible to delete or alter, and other random issues pop up and often become infuriating to deal with. It's better that other html based quoting tools i've used, but it still has issues. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** The speed of turning out quotes has greatly improved, their overal appearance and customization has improved as well. The quote portal has also streamlined the approval process and also makes us look a lot more legitimate. Very early on we realilzed that if we spend the initial time setting up templates, pushing out quotes is no longer as difficult and time consuming as it once was. ### 9. When it comes to editing the pricing, its hard to highlight certain fields and seems very glitchy. (ex, highlighting text, changing font) This does not make it easy to change pricing on the fly.
