The document editing, espeically for long documents is very cubersom. Through this collaborative effort, Proposify helped us build customized proposal templates specific to the unique nature and needs of our business. And when we hit a potential obstacle in what we thought we needed, they proposed innovative and clever solutions that hit the mark. Then they offered training classes to roll things out the entire team, videos specific to our templates, etc. Absolutely above and beyond service. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** We bumped up against a couple of system limitations, but honestly, Proposify worked diligently with us in these situations to find the best possible solution. Only thing I'd like to see? Would be nice to be able to collapse the work tool window (right side of screen) and/or the content library list (left side of screen) to enlarge the center editor window when working on a laptop. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Consistency of Proposals: It is now extremely simple to make changes to the proposal template - which is then immediately received/used by all employees simultaneously. Sales Pipeline Data: Allows us to track the life of a proposal. With insight into a customer's behaviors as they view a proposal, we can better determine how to approach our next steps in the sales cycle. Improved Follow Up: The automated emails provide several things - ease for user, better consistency in messaging and frequency of follow ups to keep our company top of mind. ### 7. I collaborate closely with our Sales team. They're the primary day-to-day users, and I maintain things behind the scenes. Before Proposify, we struggled with producing proactive proposals due to the hassle of our former process with Word templates. Ensuring the sales team had the correct version, personalization, and formatting issues made using the templates a last resort, and simply put, proactive proposals were rarely being put together for our prospects. The solution was typically to send individual brochures and pricing. Additionally, the proposals looked pretty basic since Word isn't designed for graphics-heavy content and requires the user be an advanced Word user and know all of its quirks. All in all, very time consuming. We chose Proposify to simplify crafting compelling, personalized, and trackable proposals. We didn't even need to burden our in-house graphic designer for the implementation. While setting up the templates took some time up front, Proposify requires minimal template maintenance for us and offered the convenience of updating content in one place and applying it everywhere it showed up. I appreciate Proposify's user-friendly interface, which allows me to easily keep content up to date, construct templates, make edits, and generate new templates on demand. Proposify has streamlined our proposal creation process and empowered our team with self-sufficiency. The data provided on each proposal is also worthwhile to have for both Sales and Marketing. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** The only frustration I've had is with creating pricing tables for the templates. Their support team has given me tips for a workaround, and has even pitched in to help when a lot of changes were needed. That has helped tremendously. There's a bug that sometimes causes some design issues in how the tables carry over from one page to the next, but last I heard this was being fixed. It has been a little tedious, but the customer success team has always been very helpful in remedying it and has been responsive to any issue we may have in a very short turnaround. Still, I dread any time our pricing structure changes, but it always gets resolved. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to rely on Word templates that never looked as polished as what we achieve with Proposify. Managing various versions of Word templates was challenging and often led to using outdated content. Additionally, the metrics we can now obtain through Proposify have been a game-changer for us. ### 8. Xero and HubSpot. The native integrations mean we can leverage the power of Proposify even if we aren't in the application itself and any activity that people review on Proposify is synched with our CRM and invoicing. Deal status gets updated when proposals are signed. When we charge deposits and get paid on the proposal they are marked in our accounting software. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** Most document management systems need word processing capabilities. The challenge here is that we are spoiled with big word processing apps like Word or Docs. Proposify doesn't really compare with those, but people need to create documents and write them in Proposify. People that generally do proposals in Word or Docs will find Proposify cumbersome and hard to use, but it's an impossible, no-win game for Proposify in that regard. Would be great if Word Docs or GDocs could easily convert into Proposify without the copy and paste. **Recommendations to others considering Proposify:** Ensure you know what you want from your quoting software and what you want to integrate it with. That will ultimately determine how much you like using it. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have better understanding of how many estimates/proposals we send in a given week and this can be tied back to our marketing automation and CRM. We didn't have that before using Proposify (I know how terrible of us). ### 15. The other thing I love the most is that with 4 different team members using this daily, all of our proposals look like they came from the same company! **What do you dislike about Proposify?** Adding photos/maps to proposals was slowed down and difficult due to the scale of the original photos taken and the orientation. That was hard to train people to take photos a certain way. Customer Support was very helpful in getting us to understand how we need to take photos. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** COnsisstenct in how our proposals look to our clients. before proposify, an account manager could send 3 proposals to the same manager and all of them look different. Inserting columns, deleting rows, etc. I have gotten used to the pricing table, but it wasn't so intuitive. And for some reason, I could never change the pricing currency, I would have to close that proposal and reopen it for the currency table to appear. I tried many times to find it, but never could. How I cannot save my own templates if I'm not an Admin in the tool.
