**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

It is helpful to have devices and clients serparated but also accessible from the same menu. It is also very helpful that N-Able is able to create tickets in our ticketing system whenever devices have issues (connectivity, disk space, Windows patching, etc.)

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The N-Able agent may stop working if the device has not been turned on in 30+ days. Alerts also take upwards of 15 minutes for alerts to update.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the issues of resource usage on devices and being able to monitor them. It also allows us to quickly resolve issues in the devices of our clients with being able to remote into them.

  ### 8. N-Central Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

Client does not need to be at the station when a restart is required.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Asset update is sometimes slow. System name change could be sent to workstation and not just be local.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote access to client systems saving an onsite trip that ties you up for a couple of hours. This allows more clients to be served in a day.

  ### 9. A complete RMM for MSP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

That's it's improving and the team is super helpful

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The automation manager resolution. Massive automation is not easy to read the larger it becomes. Maybe the solution is calling seperate policies. Would be interesting if it was similar to rewst. Otherwise it's just cosmetics.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Infrastructure management

  ### 11. N-Able NCentral

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

Can automatically push out EDR to machines, meaning eveything is protected.

  ### 12. Awesome Product@

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

It's integrations are great! Patch management is reliable, take control is seamless and alerts work well.

Custom scripts and automation are easy (after the initial learning curve).

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

I wish reporting was more intuitive. I strugle with it.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation and patch management. When the powers that be (regulations and compliance) decide we have to do large scale changes to endpoints, N-Able makes it easy!

  ### 13. Best RMM software I have used

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew T. | Sr. Systems Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

I dont believe there is a great RMM product, but N-central has been the best I have used. Major shortcomings of other products They continue to add features and make the software more valaueable.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Lack of quality support. I often wait days between updates and have to ask for an update before getting one. Seems like support is underzstaffed or not properly managed.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows for a central view of all endpoints we manage. Custom monitoring allows us to manage products such as AV, EDR, and web filtering in the same view without having to go to a different portal.

  ### 14. N-sigth RMM es una herramienta muy poderosa

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier R. | Cloud Sales Specialist☁️, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

N-sigth RMM is a very powerful tool with which a few technicians can have many devices under control, avoiding possible errors. It is a proactive work tool equipped with very good technology.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The graphical interface could be a bit easier to use, although it is very intuitive, it is very flat.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of solving problems, prevent them from arising by having all teams fully supervised.

  ### 15. Promising and Expansive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

I like the granularity of monitoring, alerting, and patching available in N-Central.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The platform is not intuitive. As a partner that is moving from VSA to N-Central, I'm dissapointed at the lack of visability we have on dashboards. There isn't an option to add additional columns that most would find helpful. You can go into a specific device and find all the information you need, but It'd be nice to be able to add information to a column on a dashboard, for example MAC addresses.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to monitor network devices and workstations from the same platform.

  ### 16. N-Central is a fantastic RMM tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

The features that it gives an MSP to be able to monitor, maintain and remotely access client devices are incredible.
The reporting capabilities are also extremely powerful and save a load of time versus compiling manual reports.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

One irritation is that sometimes the Take Control or actual device agent gets disconnected and manual intervention is often required to reinstall these.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote control of devices saves a lot of time versus having to call the customer to get some sort of connection code and password.
Patching and scheduled reboots saves a lot of time versus manual patching and rebooting of devices.
Software and Hardware reports give us and our clients valuable information, especially when it comes time to performing OS and hardware upgrades.
Automated installation / uninstallation of software helps keep software up-to-date or the removal of unwanted software.

  ### 17. Great product overall

N-Able helps me managing my remote customers and sites

  ### 20. Nearly Perfect RMM Software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hoyt U. | Services Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

N-Central helps automate many functions of our business that would otherwise take time and money to complete. N-Central support has been top notch.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

N-Central's reporting capabilities have always been weak. The new Analytics feature doesn't feel like a completed product.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-Central allows us to remote manage and support our clients systems at a much lower cost as compared to onsite support for individual systems.

  ### 21. Versatile RMM tools for client management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

Support is generally available and responsive to issues. Patch management is efficient even with 1000+ endpoints, and easy to manage a large number of devices. Onboarding new clients is efficient and the ability to roll out templates for different devices makes it an easy process.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Integration with 3rd party products are often clumsy or lacking features of standalone products. Specifically SentinelOne EDR

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-Central gives us a consolidated source for our endpoint management. We can push updates, EDR, and monitor the status of all of the end points. Schedule maintenance and connect remotely as needed without going to multiple suites.

  ### 24. N-Central

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

One pane of view for monitoring and managing our customers servers and workstations.
Easy to Remote Control the different devices.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Filtering in the different views is inconsistant.
The filters are owned by the user that makes them. If that user leaves the company there is no way you can alter his filter. This is a problem because everyting is based on filters and rules.
In the SAAS there is not much reporting

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One pane of view for monitoring and managing our customers servers and workstations. Easy to remote control the devices. Use it for Patch management.

It can take a while to get used to N-central, with a steep learning curve. Reporting is somewhat limited aswell compared to other RMM solutions.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it solves is the ability to remote onto managed devices with Take Control, which is straightforward to use and a reliable remote support client. Patch management is also solving the issue of outdated software across devices which keeps endpoint consistently secure.

  ### 35. Robust RMM tool but...

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

Easy management for remote access and monitoring. The Take control tool allows a fast access to any device and file transefer

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Patching engine has a lot of failures, it takes days to refresh the installed patches, and automatic patching from N-central fails most of the times with systems like workstations even if they OS is still active for support from microsoft

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A few months ago, Take control started to work much better and that helped my company to guarantee a faster remote support to end customers

  ### 37. Automation.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

I don't use a ton of n-able as the head of accounting but it is so useful for the automation billing and auditing purposes.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The automated billing doesn't sync to auto task overnight. Only once a month.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem for me is auditing and billing.

  ### 38. great overview

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

That the info can be behind. It takes some time to get the newest info

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping the back ups stable. is spare me a lot of time

Quick and simple access to devices and unattended management using n-central tool.

Automation policies and custom monitoring tools allow for great granular control

  ### 40. Excellent product that does exactly what we need it to do

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

Once you spend the time to configure the product, it'll be capable of monitoring just about anything. We use it for telemetry (monitoring), AMPs, patching, etc. It's great and integrates with the rest of our stack

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Not enough from the other Solarwinds stack has made its way into Ncentral. Orion is owned by the same company, yet we dont see things like the ability to ingest configurations for infrastructure and network devices. If Ncentral could do this as well as assist us with network mapping, we wouldnt need products like Auvik

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every purpose I outlined above is why we use it. It benefits us because it automates some of our routine tasks while also giving us RMM capabilities for our clients

  ### 41. N-Able enables us to do what we do

The Ease of use inside the main dashboard is great. It is very intuitive. I was able to implement N-Central for over 2500 endpoints with 25-30 clients singlehandedly. The configuration is great and very customizable, Customer support is there to help with any questions. I use N-Central everyday and it gets easier to use everytime. The features are almost infinite. I wish the scripting was more intuitive. Using the automation manager to create scripts is time consuming and tedious and requires a lot of trial and error.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote accessibility, routine patch management, and automated scripting are what we use N-central for primarily.

  ### 45. N-Able works

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

I really like the backend stuff we are able to accomplish wiothout even having to remote into the users machine. Running self healing and other scripts via N-ABle is very efficient.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

We as a company were having issues for a solid 2 months with logging into remotes. Seems to be resolved now but almost evryone in my office would have to open remotes 3-4 times to get them to open.
