"A confusing platform that contains features difficult to use or find"
2.5/5
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

The features it contains. There are plenty of features and lots of learn and use. The alerts/alarms are fully featured and give plenty of insights and information to act upon. The ticket system integration is nice to have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

The complexity of the platform. Features are buried in layers of menus, or in menus that don't make a lot of sense. Creating rules and policies are strangely interdependent and changing one option can have unintended cascading affects or you'll be blocked from changing anything and can't figure out why. Screen sharing is spotty and patching is unreliable/confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use RMM that is robust!"
5/5
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

N-Central allows us to look at multiple companies easier and gain insight and access to their devices. Not only can I use it to remotely access computers to solve problems, but it allows us to gain an overview of all the devices on clients networks. This has been extremely helpful for example in getting them ready for the upcoming EOL of windows 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

Sometimes the agent that gets deployed does not work correctly, and on these occasions it can be a headache to get it working. It's also not incredibly easy to get working on Macs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"So far been great, great tool"
4/5
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

I really like the tools, it allows me to assist users without bothering them by logging into their computers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

I dislike that take control will often drop off and I will see a message that Take control is not configured for the device even though it was working before. I then have to go to the device, click on remote control settings, then untick install take control, then click on add task, update asset info, then go to tools, file systems, delete some n central folders, then go back to remote desktop settings and tick install take control. This happens very often Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

With 99% of business users having multi monitors, it is cumbersome moving screen to screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"N-central is a Powerful Tool for Windows"
4/5
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

N-central has an extensive range of features for managing Windows devices efficiently, and it integrates easily with existing systems, which makes it even more convenient to use. As I’ve been learning more about it through N-ableMe, I’ve been surprised at how many features I hadn’t taken advantage of before. Installing the N-central agents is simple, and once they’re on the system, everything works seamlessly. It’s easy to use regularly for ongoing management, and their customer support is fantastic especially the chat support, which has been really responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

The only thing I dislike about N-central is the lack of reliability with the macOS agents compared to the Windows agents. MacOS seems to always have issues that require way more time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good product, growing capabilities"
3.5/5
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

Generally a very reliable product that meets almost all of the needs for our in-house IT department. Take Control works very well, able to deploy software with the software repository. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

The UI and some of the features are outdated, sometimes difficult to find settings and features. No mobile app!!!! I miss some of the simplicity and features of Pulseway especially their mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Looking forward to the experience"
5/5
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

We just got started with N-Able, so everything hasn't been implemented yet. But from the demos, I can already see the possibilities available. We have been using primarily an AV, and as a cybersecurity analyst, I have had to often use other tools to do my work, which has required quite a bit of time and effort. The integration of everything, along with being able to keep up with patching will definitely make N-Able a useful tool for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

I haven't used the tool enough to find too many faults. One of the things that I might see as an issue at some point is the amount of clicking inside the interface that is needed to perform certain actions. In some cases, I can see the need for it, so that you're not approaching something the wrong way, but it might be possible to improve on some of this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is as a new update a few weeks to a month ago that allowed you to open a chat box with the end user. It has made it a lot easier to work on multiple end users devices at once while being able to have active conversations with each. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy and effective. It's that simple"
4/5
What do you like best about N-able N-central?

The fact that I can pull a report on everything about the hardware in my company. From the CPU and RAM capacity to the Windows license used to activate the PC. It makes tracking and monitoring an absolute breeze. It's also great how easy it is to roll out to your company as the discovery agent makes the integration very seamless. My company uses N-able every day for our hardware tracking and the support team is always there to help find solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able N-central?

Finding some features are a bit difficult as you need to go into a tab to find a tab that has a very specific function that doesn't really make sense as to why it would be under that tab. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
