Even someone without any experience in integration can simply look at the guide and be able to do it. I like how fast and easy it is to integrate the domains and mailboxes for Microsoft 365 without complexity. And this is not just for Microsoft 365 but for Google workspace as well. It doesn't have the same level of integration as M365 but setting it up is also quick and easy. Another thing is that the dashboard, with the bar and pie charts is easy to understand so you can quickly analyze the data. **What do you dislike about N-able Mail Assure?** I am just not comfortable with the way Mail Assure uses MX records to catch emails. As an attacker there are ways to avoid this like direct to IP attacks so I still need to think of a strategy on how to remediate holes like this. **What problems is N-able Mail Assure solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am more of a network guy than an email guy so I look for an email solution that is easy to set up and integrate with mailboxes and domains. For mail assure, it is quick and easy to setup without the need for scripts and other complexities in getting domains and mailboxes. ### 2. They offer 365 syncing so you don't have to remember to add new users to the spam filter. Its easy to go through logs and find mail being blocked and you can do advanced searches once you have a message ID in order to see the reason why specifically it was blocked. There is a self service portal for end users but its not intuitive for them usually. **What do you dislike about N-able Mail Assure?** It really comes down to service support and the billing side of N-Able. Their support is slow to respond if you can get them on the phone thats the best way. We've found they create hidden charges making it difficult to pass these things on to your client. Cancelling services has also been difficult with things coming back into the **What problems is N-able Mail Assure solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing a contiinutiy platform for email. If we have an outage whether it be on-prem or in the cloud Mail assure will queue that mail and when the email server comes back up it releases that queue. So things don't end up in the dark beyond of the web. It also provides spam filtering and does an ok job at filtering out nefarious things. ### 6. For those looking a white SAAS service, they do have it. **What do you dislike about N-able Mail Assure?** - Poor technical support - Poor interface management - Not convenient to retreive email archives - And the WORST : they do have huge problem to respect the invoicing process resulting in multiple occurences of over billing and our bank account has been withrawn on two occurences for amount way above the amount due. Which is totally unnacceptable. - Impossible also to reconciliate the amounts withdrawn from our bank account with their invoices. - Getting our money back has been a colossal amount of emails and time. You want to lose your time and reputation ? Go with these guys. No SLA, No real escalations department or single account manager, no phone calls from support when requested **Recommendations to others considering N-able Mail Assure:** I would highly recommend going with another option and not getting stuck with Mail Assure. Mail Assure support takes forever to respond with anything of substance, and even then, they are often wrong. Support often misclassifies your issues as not critical, no matter what the problem is. The support staff does not attempt to recreate the problem you see before suggesting you try something, which often leads to you wasting a LOT of time and getting nowhere. This company will not respect your time. Mail Assure is constantly rolling out service-breaking changes and confusing UI updates that are honestly not needed and will cause your staff to go through a training curve. The spammy pop-ups in the admin portal will make you question the sanity of whoever is running this business. Our SLA with GFI MaxMail magically disappeared when SolarWinds bought it and forced us over to Mail Assure. **What problems is N-able Mail Assure solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mail Assure is filtering before mail reaches our server. Our server does not have to consume as many resources through DNS lookups or filtering methods, and our clients have a nice interface that we have branded. ### 15. There is also an option to train email spam. Awaiting the Outlook integration would be a nice to have option to assist users to manage their spam. **What do you dislike about N-able Mail Assure?** Not many negatives to say about the product. The price did go up considerably compared to maxfocus.Billing system, automated can be abit of a nuisance.
