**What do you like best about LaunchBay?**

After trialing several project management platforms, we ultimately chose Motion for its immediate ease of use and intuitive interface.

What truly set it apart, however, was the exceptional level of support we received from their team. Unlike other platforms—where onboarding felt impersonal and reliant on generic, pre-recorded tutorials—we found Motion's team highly responsive and genuinely invested in helping us tailor the platform to our business needs. With other tools, we often had to turn to costly third-party consultants who still couldn't deliver what was required. Motion made the setup process seamless and empowered us to make the most of the platform right from the start.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

More clarity/training   on automations would be amazing but  with that being said the option to upgrade to the project build service  makes this less relevant.

Having a built in signatorty platform is great, but unfortunatly we are still left with a gap as  investment/ super and insurance platforms and providers will note accept the current signatory platform provided 

We would LOVE to get away from docusign but until one of the preferred options is availabe within motion we are somewhat trapped

We   use the system as a in office client management project solution it’s improve turn around time for clients to complete tasks and provide requested onboarding paperwork

**What do you like best about LaunchBay?**

LaunchBay helps to standardize workflows and offers a professional and cohesive experience for our clients. We are really able to standardize our projects and keep track of important tasks which has helped us improve speed and efficiency as well as overall quality.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

It is not nearly as customizable for our brand as we would like it to be. As a video production company, we strive for efficiency, as well as a refined aesthetic, which we would love to be able to bring to our clients in the portal space. It would be nice to have more flexibility and customize per our specific business needs.

**What problems is LaunchBay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project workflow is number one, especially for our pre-production space. This allows for an organized and efficient route to prepare for filming. It has brought significant optimization for not only our business, but also for our clients when preparing large scale productions.

**What do you like best about LaunchBay?**

What I like most about LaunchBay is its level of customization and flexibility. We were able to build a client portal experience that truly fits our intake process, rather than forcing our workflow into a generic system. That has made a big difference for us internally and for our clients as well. Overall, everything feels more organized, more professional, and far more aligned with how we actually operate day to day.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

I would not really call it a dislike, but there is definitely a learning curve, especially if you want to take full advantage of the customization. Like anything, it takes some time to understand how to best structure it for your business, but the resources and support have made that much easier.

**What problems is LaunchBay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LaunchBay helped us solve a big intake problem by giving us a more structured, automated, and client-friendly process from the start. Instead of relying on a patchwork of emails, manual follow-up, and generic systems that did not really fit how we work, we were able to create a portal experience that guides clients more clearly and keeps our team more organized behind the scenes.

The benefit has been both operational and client-facing. Internally, it has improved workflow and reduced friction in our intake process. On the client side, it has created a more polished and professional experience, and we have gotten really strong feedback because of that.

I LOVE the highly customizable portal, and the way it handles tasks and views! The built-in design approval capabilities are a standout feature for our design workflow. Additionally, every single feature provided feels well-thought-out and their support team is incredibly helpful and fast to respond whenever we have questions. Clients love the features and find it really accessible for all levels of tech savy-ness!

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

My only real dislike is the current limitation regarding portal styling. I would love to be able to customize fonts and other specific brand styling elements within the portals to make them feel even more integrated with our brand identity, but that's neither here nor there! They're shipping new updates and features all the time so I'd totally trust that it's in the works.

**What problems is LaunchBay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LaunchBay is streamlining our client onboarding and portal management! By using the built-in design approvals and customizable tasks, we've been able to centralize our communication and project tracking in one place, which has significantly improved our efficiency and client onboarding experience.

**What do you like best about LaunchBay?**

I really like the chat feature in LaunchBay. I also like the pizza tracker that shows where we are in the project. I like that you're able to assign different tasks, and people get that email right away when they're assigned a task. It feels like it's been pretty easy for my clients to use, so the client-facing user interface seems to be simple enough for all of them. I also really like the files section because all of the files are now organized, and I can share what I need to, including a final files folder for them. I like the branding portion, being able to have a branded client portal gives my brand and business that edge.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

I don't know that there isn't anything in LaunchBay that doesn't work well for me. Right now, LaunchBay invoices is only integrated with Stripe, and I use Square. So I would love to see a Square integration. I think that's the only piece that I don't use in this whole portal as I still do invoicing through Square.

I use LaunchBay to organize everything, keeping it transparent so clients can see project status and tasks. It reduces back-and-forth communication, providing a central hub to track what's missing and what's needed next.

I really appreciate the simplicity and unique client portal experience in LaunchBay, which is unlike any other tool we've used. Everything works great for creating the best client experience. I love how the client portal lets me show my clients only the tasks I choose for them to see, preventing them from feeling overwhelmed. The ability to create and link custom tabs is amazing, allowing us to integrate it well with our existing operations and tools we use. I find LaunchBay's setup to be especially easy, and it offers more well-rounded features for a better client experience compared to Kitchens.co, which we used before.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

I work well with tools like Trello where you can view available tasks and put them on the calendar when you have availability, and there is not a view like that in LaunchBay.

LaunchBay offers simplicity and an unmatched client portal experience, enhancing client interactions. I like that it allows my clients to see only designated tasks, preventing overwhelm. The custom tabs fit perfectly with our operations and integrate with our other tools.

**What do you like best about LaunchBay?**

I love that it is incredibly intuitive to use, I had templates and automations set up in a heartbeat when I started, and then continued to refine them as I went along. Their support is great, very hands-on and responsive. We use the portal all day every day to onboard and manage our clients. I was also able to hook it up to two systems I use, Jotform and Calendly through Zapier.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

The worst thing is you'll be compelled to buy it once you start using it! I thought I was in for a monthlong trial but moved from trial to purchase in just days. We loved it that much.

**What problems is LaunchBay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Launchbay helps my team stay connected to each other and to our clients on a minute by minute time scale. We have rush / same day projects as well as more long term ones, and they are both served very well by the features available in LaunchBay. Since we have the portal, we don't have to track information from system to system, it's all pulled together in one interface. We don't have to ask "where's this document" or "did this client do X task yet?" because it's all right there.

I use LaunchBay for project tracking internally with my team and for client-facing tasks like uploading documents and managing tasks. It provides clarity and lets my clients take ownership of their tasks, which I really value. Plus, it offers a single space for communicating and sharing information. I find it user-friendly and easy to use, and the interface makes sense overall.

Though I like the interface overall, I think it could look a little bit more modernized and can be more customizable. I would like to be able to customize it more with my colors, my fonts, my brand in order for it to feel very connected to my brand. Also, it would have been nice to have more support from LaunchBay experts during the setup to effectively navigate the onboarding.

**What do you like best about LaunchBay?**

I like that LaunchBay is really user-friendly. Our client seems to enjoy using it, and it makes it super obvious to them what they're working on, what we're working on, and what's been completed. We’ve just recently started using it with them, and so far, they haven't had any problems navigating. LaunchBay is pretty straightforward, which definitely made us more eager to use it with clients since we want to make sure that not only we can use it, but also it's something that our clients find easy to use. Within the platform itself, it was very easy to set up. I liked how we could brand it and make it look nice for our clients. The customer service has been awesome, and the platform itself, I could see it being largely super useful for us in working with clients.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

I think there are certain things that could be more seamless for us with the Zapier integration we've set up for it, especially since Asana is widely used at our company internally. Setting up zaps was fairly complicated because certain fields weren't exposed on specific actions. I've also run into bugs where tasks created from a zap in LaunchBay have a due date that's a day earlier than in Asana. Even though it's flagged, it hasn't been fixed, and we have to manually adjust dates in LaunchBay. This makes the integration setup more complicated and tedious. Also, the Zapier setup was a headache because some things weren't exposed, making it frustrating.

**What problems is LaunchBay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LaunchBay allows us to work with clients on external platforms, mimicking our internal Asana setup to stay organized, mark tasks complete, and provide client insights.

There was a bug where timezone conversion could adjust a due date to the wrong day when tasks were created via Zapier, and we've resolved it in our latest update. On the broader Zapier feedback, because it's a third-party platform, it's not something we have complete control over, and sometimes the way individual Zap workflows are configured can impact how things behave on the LaunchBay side. That said, we're in the process of building out native integrations so users can connect the tools they already use without relying on a middleman. We want that experience to be more consistent and reliable across the board.

I like the project views it provides for our internal teams, along with the automations that help remove redundancies. The project tool back end stands out for me because it helps us manage workflows with our clients effectively. It allows us to see clearly where each project is, identify where it might be stuck, and track tasks assigned to the client or team that are overdue. The initial setup was relatively easy, and the team was great and very helpful.

I use LaunchBay for both client and internal tasks to make our workflows more efficient. I appreciate how it keeps us out of emails and notifies customers as the project progresses. The onboarding process is very personable, and our onboarding specialist was able to create custom process workflows for us. Although learning any new software takes time, the onboarding team is a great benefit.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

I don't like that third-party contractors don't have access like the client guest does, but with more features available to them than just guests. Many third-party contractors, like engineers or drafting teams, aren't employees, so I don't want to pay a seat for them. They need more access than guests do.

LaunchBay improves our workflow efficiency by keeping us out of emails and notifying clients of project progress. The onboarding was personable and the specialist helped create custom workflows, making it valuable.

I really like that they're very friendly. For example, our customer success person and the onboarding person are really easy to go through. They solve problems easily and help us with feedback and setting up. We really like the white labeling and everything that they allow us to do; it's like an all-in-one solution for our clients. I also really like the recently updated UI/UX design on the platform. The initial setup was great and totally easy; even during the trial period, I could set it up with just their videos and a couple of explanations. It's really intuitive.

At the moment I don't have anything that I have disliked so far.

I like LaunchBay because it's lightweight and easy to set up templates and automation. The white label features are great too, allowing us to present a bespoke and custom solution without needing to build it ourselves. It serves as a great extension for our business presentation. The initial setup was very simple, with most things being self-explanatory, though the team helped us through what we couldn't figure out.

Some more improvements to the customer portal would be great. An even cleaner UI to make client actions more logical and straightforward. Portal templates would be amazing too.

LaunchBay simplifies project tracking and refines content gathering from clients. It's lightweight, easy to set up templates and automation, and its white label features offer us a bespoke solution without building it ourselves.

**What do you like best about LaunchBay?**

Has a simple, clean interface and works really well for my projects, magic link logins so client's don't need to remember their passwords, with most if not all the forms and features for project lifecycle. Very easy to get started with it. Customer support has also been helpful, responsive, and transparent throughout our onboarding.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

It's not for quick, one-off individual tasks like a single signature or a simple form request because it requires setting up an entire project. Currently only integrates with Zapier which is a blocker for some.

**What problems is LaunchBay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LaunchBay helps us with client onboarding and transparency for our clients with our projects. It allows us to chase up clients with automatic reminders on content we're waiting on.

I love having a dashboard I can share with clients to give them full transparency into their projects.

I wish the project management and user management features were a lot more robust.

**What problems is LaunchBay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of onboarding clients. Finally, onboarding isn't random, different for every client, or having to be managed by checklists. Further, there's a "paper trail" for everything regarding the project from start to finish. It cuts down on back and forth emails, and clients dont write long emails with feedback and changes anymore. The proofing feature has come a long way and has essentially stopped me from considering embedding or integrating an outside alternative.

LaunchBay makes communication with clients and team members so seamless. Everything is finally in one place!  It's my one-stop hub during the work day!

I also love their customer support - if you reach out, a real human replies, and that is gold to me. They listen to what features are important to us and I feel like they are actually making something FOR US.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

I can't think of anything! They are always added new and helpful features and smoothing out how things flow and work together. They improve things before I even got around to realize they needed to be improved.

We are no longer wasting time tracking down what tasks we are waiting on and sending followups to who the holdup is. We can easily see where our projects are and our timelines stay on track better! It's great to be able to switch between client communication and team communication in the same task, too, so that team notes are in one place.

I like that the developers are always making adjustments and improvements to LaunchBay. The client tasks feature is great because it makes clients feel involved in the process, creating a better client experience. I also found the initial setup very easy once I got my bearings. Compared to other software I was trialing, I couldn't find one that did as much as LaunchBay.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

I’d like a Gantt chart view and the option to set up tasks with a timeframe next to them so when I create a project, I can automatically see how long that project is going to take me.

LaunchBay helps with project management and client communication, and involves clients in the process, enhancing their experience. It offers more capabilities than other software I trialed.

I don't love that in the task you can only share documents that are PDFs. It would be nice if it was a document that both the customer and our team could make changes to, add things, and it be a live document, and not just a PDF.

LaunchBay is one location where we all can see and assign tasks, and let customers know where the project is. It's easy to create tasks and use it as a template.

All of these can be shared using our "Attach Files" option in the task composer, which attaches files directly to a task so your client can view and download them right from their portal. We also have an "Attach Proofs" option that lets both your team and your clients annotate files with comments and mark them as approved or needs changes. Both options are available in active projects and workflow templates.

The upside of motion is that it serves as a project management tool with a built-in data collection facility, making it easier and more efficient to collect data from clients and advance the project. The software is very easy to implement, and the customer support is excellent. We use this software all day, every day, to manage our clients and their projects.

Lacks some useful features at the lower level that are free with other software, such as ClickUp, mainly time tracking, which should be a basic requirement. Motion has introduced it at the highest subscription level. Visibility can sometimes be a little difficult, being an all black on white platform, adding some colour coding would make life much easier.

The primary issue we face is collecting data from our clients. Motion allows us to set specific tasks for specific people within a client's organisation, meaning that data collection is targeted, and those who do not need to see certain tasks do not. This makes the process focused.

• If a client tries to complete a file upload task without submitting all requested files, LaunchBay automatically prompts them to let them know something is missing.
• Once a file upload task is completed, it intentionally closes to prevent your team from missing new or unexpected files later in the process.
• That in mind, even after a task is completed, clients can still upload additional files anytime through the Files tab in their portal, without you needing to reopen the task.

I just love how simple Motion.io is to use and create ways to save loads of time within our business processes.  But yet whilst it's simple to use, it's seriously powerful in being able to solve any business process because all the necessary tools/options are there to leverage however you want.  We use it as a client document and task onboarding tool, and nothing we've tried even comes close to Motion.io for ease of use and ability to set things up the way we really want, without being confined to loads of limitations or complications within the software. The cool thing is that the Motion.io team are releasing upgrades and improvements every week, which builds on an already fantastic platform!  I can hardly imagine any business which can't benefit from Motion.io, and I've got so many ideas how it can tackle other processes within our business on the internal side, even though our main use case and reason for subscribing was for onboarding external customers.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

There's barely nothing to dislike about Motion.io because it gives you all the tools you need to deal with processes within your business, and it's so simple to implement it.  You can automating tasks within your business within minutes, and then you can learn how to make then better and better as you learn how people interact with it.  There is an integration with Zapier which we make great use of to automate our onboarding and creating projects for customers to complete.  We don't need to do anything and we get pretty near perfect results!  My one slight bugbear is that whilst all files which are uploaded to tasks can be automated to be transferred i.e. Motion.io has a Zapier trigger for "File Uploaded" meaning you can send the file wherever you want e.g. DropBox, but for documents which are electronically signed within a task this isn't currently possible as these need to be manually downloaded to take them out of Motion.io.  Hoping Motion.io will solve this in one of their weekly upgrade releases.

**What problems is LaunchBay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When clients make a booking on our website, they need to provide us with various information and documentation.  Using the Zapier integration, we are able to immediately send the client a 'project' to complete, which is taken from a template we have already prepared, which asks the client to complete a few tasks.  These tasks guide the clients through what they need to do - it's incredibly smooth and effective.  They can also raise any questions through writing comments against the tasks and there's an option for a Helpdesk function.  Having looked for and tried and testing many other software option, Motion.io stands as a class apart.

The customer support is very attentive to your needs and many features I asked they then shortly after implemented which is great they actually hear their customers.
I like how I can see my clients, all the tasks and what needs to be completed.
I use this software all the time to manage everything it's super robust.

Ability to have child projects underneath client. So for example having client then underneath multiple projects such as Google Ads Campaign, SEO and for each one of those then tasks associated to each project instead of creating a new project every time for different projects that apply to the same client.
More AI would be good such as crafting responses to clients and not having so many different threads and organising it with the messaging.
Other than that great software and the team are aware of my concerns which is my important.

I used to spend at least an hour each day going over which forms each of our clients had filled out, what was left, and what we still needed from them. Now Motion does all that work for me! Sure, there are lot's of form builders out there, but none of them actually keep track of clients filling them out.

The only con I have so far is I wish they made their forms embeddable. I would like the option of adding an initial form on our website that gathers the clients contact information, then based off of which package they choose I could set up automation within Motion to trigger the rest of the stages and forms.

I have used every Team management tool out there, and as much as some come with the bells and whistles, it is all disconnected from the main essence of how information should be shared between the team and client. Motion eliminates the need to use email, in addition to support tickets. It allows you to bring your team and clients into one centralized portal, using a magic link that enables your customer to hop on and send a message or respond to a question without having to log in each time.

It streamlines client collaboration and has even replaced the need for a separate document signing platform. **What do you like best about LaunchBay?**

It's fantastic that you can set only the tasks that clients need to action while hiding the rest from them so I can keep on top of everything in the back end without having to share my whole process. It's really easy to keep organised with multiple client projects and the dedicated chat is amazing. It's super easy to use (for me and my clients) and integrates well with a bunch of other tools.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

I really wish it had built in features for scheduling calls and contracts - it's a little annoying that I  still have to use dubsado for contracts, payments and scheduling.

**What problems is LaunchBay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's brilliant at keeping all my client wok in one place. It helps me stay organised and in control of everything. And the client portal also means my clients get to stay in control of the project as well.

**What do you like best about LaunchBay?**

I like that I can automate my onboarding process.   I can personalize the intake process to ask specific questions and to create unique templates.  I really like the flexible approach for creating onboarding workflows, with the added benefit of user delegation and allocating work to team members. Motion serves as an onboarding, workflow and firm management tool with branding.  I really enjoy using this product

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

I don't like that Motion.io reminders and emails don't provide a unsubscribe option. I also don't like that the there isn't a more defined way to control customer contacts

**What problems is LaunchBay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating client onboarding and improved engagement experience

it offers automations which is a great feature to automate my tasks, it is very easy to use and integrate with our systems plus their support team is very active, quick to respond which is great. It has become a a core feature or our systems and we use it daily in the business process

motion does not offer calendar integration as yet which i dont like

managing clients tasks is a key feature in our business process which was made 100% easier with the use of motion

**What do you like best about LaunchBay?**

The software is very user friendly and easy to train our teams to use. It has given our onboarding team an easy way to stay organized and help us save time chasing down new customers to get us the information we need to work with them.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

Nothing.  The software and support are top notch

**What problems is LaunchBay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software saves us a time and has allowed us to onboard more customers each and every month.  We are no longer chasing new clients to get the information we need to launch them with our company.  Motion.io does all the follow up for us and provides a secure repository of all the data and simple ways to export it into our systems.

When they work, I love the magic links so you don't have to keep a password for it.

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

Things are being updated a lot and things kinda seem to glitch out a lot because of it. They don't have a live chat, you have to wait for an email back.

**What problems is LaunchBay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us give the clients everything they need in a sequential order. And our team can look at where they're at and everyone can clearly see.

**What do you like best about LaunchBay?**

Having the opportunity to straight away provide an agreement, a set time for someone to complete, get it signed off with a signature, a portal for our customers to upload their documents and images, progress bar for us and the customers to use. Tasks, chat features, helpdesk and more. Saves so much time and solved our issue

**What do you dislike about LaunchBay?**

Slightly on the more premium cost side but saves other software costs.

Documents, client onboarding, portal, customer servvices.

Motion.io is still growing so there aren't really any dislikes as I can tell a lot of things are still being implemented. No real dislikes.
