"Incredibly Intuitive—Templates and Automations Set Up in a Heartbeat"
What do you like best about LaunchBay?

I love that it is incredibly intuitive to use, I had templates and automations set up in a heartbeat when I started, and then continued to refine them as I went along. Their support is great, very hands-on and responsive. We use the portal all day every day to onboard and manage our clients. What do you dislike about LaunchBay?

What do you like best about LaunchBay?

Has a simple, clean interface and works really well for my projects, magic link logins so client's don't need to remember their passwords, with most if not all the forms and features for project lifecycle. What do you dislike about LaunchBay?

Expanding integrations so LaunchBay fits seamlessly into the rest of your tech stack is a top priority for us in the first part of this year. In addition to a handful of native integrations, we’ll also be releasing a new webhook automation action. This will allow you to send onboarding data from LaunchBay to any tool that accepts webhooks, unlocking thousands of new ways to connect the systems you already use without relying solely on Zapier.

What I appreciate most about Motion.io is how effortlessly it streamlines client collaboration. Rather than having to track down clients through emails, WhatsApp, or various scattered documents, everything is neatly organized within a single, intuitive portal. While Motion.io does a good job of helping organize client work, there are still some aspects that could be enhanced. Certain features seem somewhat limited; for instance, having more extensive customization options for the client portal would be beneficial. Additionally, a more sophisticated automation system and improved integrations with widely used tools, such as CRMs or project management applications, would help streamline the workflow even further. There should be some better project notes/file storage/internal features to keep the whole project contained within LB, opposed to siloed.

If you haven’t explored them yet, LaunchBay includes built-in project notes for each project, along with the ability to upload call transcripts and use AI to automatically generate summaries and follow-up tasks. I’ll include a link with more details.

It's made onboarding clients, and in particular following them up for essential information, a whole lot more streamlined. Love reading that the support from our team has been top-notch and that LaunchBay is helping eliminate one of the most frustrating parts of running a business by automatically following up with clients for the information you need.

On file uploads, one quick tip: if a client tries to complete a task without submitting all required files, LaunchBay will prompt them before allowing the task to be marked complete. To fully prevent incomplete submissions, you can enable "Require Team Review," which keeps the task open until your team confirms everything is received. If something’s missing, you can quickly send it back to the client.

There’s very little to dislike — the platform is still growing, so a few areas like template flexibility and deeper integration options (QuickBooks, Google Drive, etc.) could be expanded. The upside of motion is that it serves as a project management tool with a built-in data collection facility, making it easier and more efficient to collect data from clients and advance the project. The software is very easy to implement, and the customer support is excellent. We use this software all day, every day, to manage our clients and their projects. What do you dislike about LaunchBay?

Lacks some useful features at the lower level that are free with other software, such as ClickUp, mainly time tracking, which should be a basic requirement. Motion has introduced it at the highest subscription level.
