"Reliable and caring platform for large-scale mobile testing"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

What I like the most is how easy it makes testing across so many real devices and browsers. We can run tons of automated tests in parallel without having to care about setup or maintenance — it just works. The stability is great, and the integration with our CI pipelines saves a lot of time. It’s one of those tools that quietly does its job and keeps things running smoothly, which I really appreciate. What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Sometimes device sessions take a bit to start, and every once in a while the local tunnel acts up. Nothing dramatic, but when it happens you feel it. I also wish the dashboard gave a bit more flexibility when reviewing sessions. Still, overall it’s a solid and reliable service that makes testing life much easier. "Efficient Cross-Browser Testing, but Pricing Challenges"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I really like how BrowserStack allows us to select random devices and browsers for running our test suite executions. This feature is incredibly useful since we have a broader audience in different regions and a variety of device users. It's impossible for our QA team to execute test cases manually on each type of combination or even in local settings, and BrowserStack offers instant solutions for this challenge. The improvements we noticed, especially on Microsoft Edge for all types of platforms, have been substantial. I also appreciate how easy the initial setup was, just by changing the server URL and a few functions for desired capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Pricing is too costly for parallel executions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Decent, perhaps a bit pricey"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

BrowserStack is a fantastic platform for engineers and directors like myself who need to validate applications across a diverse range of environments. I especially appreciate how simple it is to quickly launch real devices and browsers, eliminating the need to maintain a physical device lab and resulting in significant time and cost savings. The selection of available options is impressive—you can test on various operating systems, browser versions, and mobile devices with just a few clicks. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy to get started with testing right away. I also value the fast device loading times and the reliability of the sessions, as this reduces downtime and allows me to focus more on analyzing test results. For teams that don’t have access to every possible device or OS combination, BrowserStack truly enables comprehensive cross-browser and cross-platform testing. What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

One limitation I’ve observed is the absence of built-in tools for simulating various network conditions or adjusting loading speeds. Although BrowserStack provides excellent access to a broad range of browsers and devices, the ability to test how a page performs on slower connections, such as 3G or unreliable Wi-Fi, would be extremely valuable. This feature would help determine if users can remain engaged and if the application stays functional when network conditions are less than ideal. Currently, it’s necessary to depend on external tools or workarounds for this type of performance testing, which leaves a noticeable gap in an otherwise comprehensive platform. "Reliable Testing with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I use BrowserStack for handling my mobile end-to-end tests, and I appreciate the ability to do native device testing on real devices rather than just emulation. It's valuable for me to validate my application before deploying to my staging environment. Once I had set up BrowserStack, it just worked, which is really important to me. I like that the API hasn't changed, and there haven’t been any unexpected changes in pricing, which often happens with other vendors, forcing us to re-evaluate our contracts. The API stability and pricing consistency save us a lot of time, as we generally expect our end-to-end pipeline to just work. Whenever our end-to-end tests are broken, we know it's because BrowserStack caught an issue, so we consider our tests to be reliable. The setup process was fairly easy, which I rate as 8 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

BrowserStack only holds our APK and IPA files for 30 days, so we have to re-upload. I have created a GitHub action to re-upload files before they expire. They also don't publicly document the ability to download screenshots taken from the devices, but I was able to do so. I wish the documentation were more comprehensive. The app upload workflow was also not documented well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Testing Across Devices, Some Latency Issues"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I like BrowserStack because it solves a big challenge for us developers, allowing us to test features and new changes in real-time scenarios without needing all available devices globally. It helps me test applications on thousands of devices simultaneously, covering various testing scenarios, and even aids in documentation and unit testing. It's a really helpful tool, not only for me but also for the QA team who use it extensively. The setup was totally easy as I didn't have to do any extra installations since it's primarily a cloud service. It's very user-friendly and easy to start working on BrowserStack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I feel like there's a kind of latency when I have multiple devices active at the same time on BrowserStack. Also, there are a couple of scenarios not possibly covered in the BrowserStack experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for Cross-Device QA Testing"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I really like the way BrowserStack works. The feature that allows me to record my test if something goes wrong, like finding a bug, is very useful since I can record directly from the page. It's a very good tool because I can also open the dev tools to see if something fails around the API. I appreciate that I don't need an outside tool to start recording my sessions; I can do it directly from the page, download, and attach it to my task. The ability to open dev tools on mobile is especially great since it can be difficult on real devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Well, in some cases, it's a little bit confusing. Because when I enter, it was like, okay. Well, I need a live or I need the other ones. And that's the only thing. But beside that, because we have a lot of options, and for the beginners, it will be a little bit overwhelming because they could know where they need to go when they need to test an app or a web page on mobile. It may be, harm more, clarification about which tool or which services we need to select. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Efficient Multi-Device Testing with Minor Video Quality Hurdles"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I appreciate BrowserStack's speed and performance, especially since there are no lags or degraded performance noticed on this platform, unlike some other platforms like LambdaTest. The ability to test the same app over multiple devices, whether iOS or Android, and have parallel sessions to see real-time results is very useful. I also find the new features like Image Injection helpful for testing camera scenarios. The provision for testing local apps by setting up a tunnel and storing APKs on Google Drive for easy access is a nice feature. Additionally, integrating BrowserStack with Jira has been seamless, with execution results and evidence getting updated directly in Jira. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Well, there were some limitations with regards to video recording quality. Since these videos were getting attached in JIRA tickets, we saw the quality was not optimum. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Cross-Browser Testing, But Needs Smoother Performance and Clearer Debugging"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I really like how easy it is to test on many different browsers and real devices without having to set anything up locally. It saves a lot of time and gives confidence that things work in real user environments. The integrations and debugging tools also make it practical to use in everyday development and testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

BrowserStack is generally a very useful tool, but there are a few areas where I think it could be improved. Sometimes test execution feels slow or unstable, especially during peak hours, which can affect productivity. Debugging issues is not always straightforward, and clearer error messages and logs would really help when sessions fail. The UI can also feel a bit cluttered, and navigating between sessions, logs, and settings is not always intuitive. Automated tests can be flaky at times, so better stability and diagnostics would be a big improvement. Lastly, pricing and limits on parallel execution can be restrictive for growing teams. "Finally stopped guessing browser-specific bugs"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

What I like most about this tool is how easy it makes cross browser and cross device testing without needing to maintain my own setup. Having access to real devices and different browser versions in one place save a lot of time, especially when debugging issues that only show up in specific environments. It's also convenient to quickly reproduce user-reported bugs and varify fixed without a lot of extra configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

The main downside for me is that performance can be inconsistent at times, especially during busy, sessions can feel a bit slow to load or laggy. But overall great experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Testing with Real SIM and AI Efficiency"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I like everything about BrowserStack, especially its functionality for features like 2FA by providing a real mobile SIM. This is essential for testing apps that require SMS OTP on 4G and 5G networks. The TestManagement tool, which is now AI-driven, is another highlight for me. The generative AI capability significantly reduces our manual test case creation effort, saving us about 60%. BrowserStack's real mobile SIM allows us to register or log in to apps with two-factor or multi-factor authentication, which is extremely helpful for our offshore team that doesn't have physical SIM cards. Also, linking Jira stories to analyze and create well-documented and detailed test cases is impressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I would be happy to see when it will start supporting the voice enable commands. Also the columns and screens to be shown to the team can be managed by Admin, so that I can control who can access what or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
