Including AB, ABn, MVT and Split testing, Social Proof and Product Recommendations engines, Exit Intent overlays and a host of others tools. Client or Server-side testing is available and a selection of SDKs for Mobile app optimisation. Our technology was created in 2000, the first testing and targeting solution in the market. The platform has grown exponentially since then, and even more rapidly so since the acquisition of Webtrends Optimize in August 2018 by the UK-based Accelerate Group Ltd.

What do you like best?

The support has been the standout factor for us and really been second to none.

Having quite a small amount of traffic coming through the website and a small team, our website can sometimes get forgotten. However having the ease of the Optimize tool to build a test, and their team encouraging us and supporting us with simple recommendations etc. It has helped us to improve online leads/bookings and do the necessary work on our website. What do you dislike?

The only disadvantage is that we would like to do more with the tool, however we don't have the right knowledge to code any tests. Optimize have helped with some of this and the release of their new widgets tool has been a big help but we can be a little limited as we get into more advanced ideas. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are improving the obvious sticking points on our site, as well as updating content as per the season, offers, new cocktails/set ups, etc.

What do you like best?

If you're considering Webtrends Optimize vs Optimizely or VWO there is no contest, Webtrends Optimize are a head and shoulders above the competition!!

The team are exceptionally confident in their product... and rightfully so! Having worked with many other CRO tools, and tools purporting to support in this area, there is nothing on the market that is as functionally rich or at such a competitive price point.

What do you like best?

2 things. The service provided is excellent. I’ve used other tools where service is promised and they haven’t delivered but the guys at Webtrends Optimize have supported us so well throughout. What do you like best?

The key thing with Webtrends Optimize is the support that they provide throughout our partnership enabling that we have the right training and understanding to really get the most out of their SaaS tool.

Our initial onboarding support was key to help us migrate our testing programme over to them with help on custom integrations, setting up our conversion package and walking through out first projects. From there having a dedicated support team that understands our goals/business helps create an efficient model when needed, with Jira, their consultants and live chat, it really doesn't take long to overcome any queries or sticking points.

This is all coupled by the freedom their technology provides from the testing tools to their reporting insight, has really created a great experience thus far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some of the integrations during the implementation process took slightly longer than first expected. A couple tools that we had weren't within their one click integration system, however they did create custom integrations for us on these so it probably worked out better. What do you like best?

The easy to use dashboard, editors and reporting features allows anyone in the team to go in and do/see what they need to at the click of a few buttons.

Having a very intuitive visual editor makes it simple for myself and other colleagues in my team go in and set up quick simple tests through the UI or widgets builder. Whereas the build framework in the code builder really helps take out a lot of the repetitive tasks for our devs and helps to speed up more complex projects. What do you dislike?

There hasn't really been anything that has stood out in particular to dislike as they have a very responsive and helpful support system which have helped us throughout.

The only thing may be the rearrange feature within their WYSIWYG tool but we have had issues with this on multiple tools and believe they are rebuilding this feature moving forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you are looking for a partner rather than just a tool to work with you throughout your contract then someone like Webtrends Optimize will be perfect. We don't hold many hours support with them due to being an agency ourselves, however their support in terms of responsiveness to questions (live chat or direct consultant) and sharing new ideas, etc. has been a real benefit for us. What do you like best?

WTO is a perfectly functional tool that allows experimentation on websites and apps and therefore allows us a powerful tool for any client we would work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

WTO feels like it was built by computer science graduates. The UI and workflow make sense when you consider technical implementations and how the code is likely to run, but for frontend users it can be confusing and steep learning curve.

For example, when you create an AB test, you have to add new variations each time, when it's expected that you'll be doing that because that's the purpose of that section for most users.

In addition, the navigation function that allows you deeper into SPAs is fiddly, as anyone trying to target an element in a nav that only shows on hover can attest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are a conversion agency so experimentation is a large part of validating ideas for conversion improvement. We need a tool that works for our clients and for us and is powerful and flexible. What do you like best?

The ease of use of the platform has been the key standout along with their aggressive roadmap for improving the platform without any additional costs for new functionality.

What do you like best?

WTO has given us the capability to hit the ground running with our testing programme, without being held up by clunky UI, jargon, or issues that I've faced with other CRO platforms in the past. From a technical standpoint, the WebTrends provides a huge amount of options to help tailor the platform to your specific site, and allows experiments to be created with ease. What do you like best?

We have access to a wide range of tools. Most importantly, able to continuously A/B test and optimize across platforms (desktop, mobile web, apps). These tests are predictive in nature and leverage the capabilities of algorithms to continuously improve ROI.

Personalization solutions. we able to segment and quantify every user interaction and response and dynamically adjust our content to best suit each individual.

One of biggest advantages of Webtrends Optimize is the ability to run all type of tests like AB, Multivariate, split, baseline tests on a massive scale.

What do you like best?

Very easy to setup and use. We managed to build a few simple tests without any expertise in any programming language. The best thing is, there is no restriction on the number of tests are running at one point in time or for the number of accounts.

They’re accessible, easy to work with, committed to our organization, always delivered good quality work. They understand how to drive consumer response and a very capable, talented, and friendly Team. A proactive approach to the problem was just what we needed. The amount of tools at our disposal was one of the best things - not just the AB testing stuff, but also widgets and easy to use tools to build things like welcome messaging alerts and lightbox popups even without any real technical expertise in house. What do you like best?

There are a few things.

The stats package that you find in the product is great, and I love what we've seen them release in the last month or two.

The wysiwig tool is also really helpful for us - we can nip in and make a few changes to get messages out to people, or do some simple testing no problem.

The price is also great. It's a little surprising for it to be where it is, given all the stuff they're offering, but I'm not one to complain 🙄 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The ease both in the UI and the power of the platform to be able to clearly and easily navigate, build/create and report on any of the tests/targets you would like to run.

The segmentation capabilities have also been a key feature for us including their geo-targeting ability down to longitude and latitude which has been incredibly useful following the opening of our new store. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Not being able to use Google tag manager was a little extra work but it was worth it to ensure that flickering didn't occur and was still straightforward enough. Other than that though, there hasn't been anything that has stood out so far. Both the platform itself and the team that we have worked with have been a real help to getting us up and running quickly and have helped to define our CRO roadmap and procedures. If you are looking for a complete all in one solution without being worried about exceeding costs and can be utilised by anyone, from developers to marketers, then it is worth speaking with the team. What do you like best?

The team have been absolutely stellar. We've had a few retail stores for many years, but being online is quite new to us.

Not only have they helped iron out things we asked for, but the reviews they've done for our website helped show us things that we had no idea were even a problem. It really has been invaluable.

Literally nothing. They've gone above and beyond, couldn't ask for any more than what they've done (and what they continue to do).

Mainly, helping us to increase our sales online. This was done by addressing the problems on the site.

For example, our homepage was very bare, and a terrible experience as customers weren't able to find what they needed. We had DNS issues, problems with our themes, and had a long way to go to compete with our competitors in terms of the experience online.

A couple of months in, and our website is unrecognisable. Our sales have roughly triplied as I've said, and it's been a much needed revenue stream for us. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

The ease of use was great. We are fairly new to CRO and personalisation but we could get up and running fairly quickly, with a bit of help from the Webtrends Optimize team. We have run a few tests and have already started to see an improvement. They even gave us a few ideas which helped us no-end Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Not a lot so far, we are still getting to grips with it but with the amount of support they offer I would be surprised to come too stuck Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were basically looking to increase the chance of people buying on our site. We were spending lots of money on PPC and SEO, to only lose a fair amount of people in the journey. With the experiments we are running, we are hoping to make more sales Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
