I've been using Webtrends Optimize tool for a while now and the recent UI update has been a big improvement. It’s much cleaner and easier to navigate, which makes working with the platform a lot smoother, especially when jumping between tests, reports, and dashboards.

Overall, I’ve had a good experience with Webtrends Optimize, but there are a couple of things that could be better. Some parts of the UI still feel a bit clunky and took me a little while to find where everything was.

Webtrends Optimize is a great platform for any company looking to improve their site based on a data driven approach. it has meant that rather than releasing blind changes to my site I can now collect data on any change I am planning to make and then take away any doubt in stakeholders eyes that we are heading in the right direction with a site optimization we may be planning.

Not only is it a great platform but the team at Webtrends are also so helpful and are always on hand to help you whether that may be in using the platform or looking for assistance in considering the conclusions and results of tests. They were also very helpful when it came to integrating with our website and we now use Webtrends far more than we could ever imagine.

Furthermore since fully integrating with Webtrends I have found that they have always been pushing to improve the product they provide. A recent user interface update has meant that it is now easier than ever to implement my tests and the fact that I was included in the beta meant that I could contribute to the design and functionality in order to have a platform that matches my needs on a personal and company level. Webtrends offers a great AB testing solution for the non-technical users but really excels when in the hands of developers. You can pretty much achieve anything you want to if you delve into the Advanced Editor and use the OBF tool. You can inject HTML, CSS and JavaScript and have full control over how the code runs. The overall planning, project management, hitting of deadlines, and the collaborative approach is second-to-none - all with a customer-centric attitude. Being able to pull from their pool of experience is of great benefit, especially when the account managers are experienced across such a huge range of different e-commerce businesses. Their developers haven't failed any tasks - even incredibly complex personalisation pieces that required bespoke development. Webtrends Optimize are now fully embedded, helping our business to shape and implement our online optimisation and personalisation strategy.

2024 Update: We've now been working with Webtrends Optimize for 7 years. They're still contributing a huge return on investment every single year without fail and have shaped so much of our customer facing development in this time.

2025 Update: Another rewarding year working with Webtrends Optimise. With a record-breaking ROI from the last 12 months and some incredible insights gathered on our customers. Most notable in the last 12 months, Webtrends Optimize helped us create a "Fill my basket" functionality, that automatically populates a customers basket with up to 12 wines specifically matched to their buying preference, greatly reducing speed to purchase.
