pgAdmin offers a strong set of features for PostgreSQL, including query execution, schema management, backups, and role control. It’s reliable and closely integrated with PostgreSQL, which makes it a dependable tool for day-to-day database operations. Implementation is fairly straightforward, especially given that it’s free and widely supported. For PostgreSQL users, it also tends to be used frequently as a natural part of regular workflow. The biggest drawback for me is ease of use, since it isn’t very intuitive. The UI feels cluttered, navigation can be confusing, and many common tasks require extra steps to complete. Performance also feels slow at times, especially when working with larger databases. Customer support is mainly community-based, which may not be enough for enterprise needs. Overall, the user experience comes across as outdated compared with more modern database tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
