No real downsides, just internal issue where using a different email address to have your tickets sent to prompts you to re-enter all of your information as if you are a new person using the same account as before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not forgetting about events that are virtual or just required a sign up. If you didn’t have to pay, you still have a way to remember an event, seminar, or live stream is coming up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We like the integration of mobile app, event registration and onsite solutions. OnArrival has also completely changed our in-person events. We used Crowd Compass for a smaller virtual event this year and it worked beautifully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Socio provides an event app that surrounds your live events. Create your app in minutes and let your attendees enjoy an unforgettable experience
The customer services was by far the best asset for Socio. They were there every step of the way through the planning process to the actual conference. We had dedicated representatives that helped with training presenters, exhibitors and staff working the conference; they helped brainstorm ideas for advertising, planning, and creating community feel in a virtual environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There were no downsides, but what helped least would have to be the switching between our dedicated representatives; this caused some confusion on my end but it was never an issue and never caused any undue stress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We had to move to a virtual conference for the first time. Actually, it started out as hybrid and as we got closer realized that it would need to be completely virtual due to the pandemic. What we realized is that having a virtual aspect is incredible to reach those unable to travel due to financial restrictions, time constraints or other factor; it also allows for attendees to experience all of the conference as they are able to go back and watch recorded sessions that were occuring at the same time as the one they attended live. Bizzabo helps organizers create successful events by empowering them to build amazing websites, sell tickets, grow communities, go mobile and maximize event experiences - usin
When we switched our in person event to a virtual one we were limited on time and no experience in the virtual event world. Bizzabo and their customer service and support team was there for us every step of the way. Anytime we needed help we knew exactly where to go for answers and received responses very quickly. They also have a very robust customer support/knowledge center which was extremely helpful. Their actual product was also great and exactly what we needed for our event. I also like how they are constantly updating and improving their platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bizzabo allows you to build your own website on their platform which is helpful, however they only provide a handful of templates to choose from. This is the same for the emails you can send out through their platform. It would be really nice to have the ability to customize the website and email templates more without having to write a customer html. I also didn't like that you have to pay more for certain integrations. For example, we use Hubspot and in order to have had Bizzabo and Hubspot integrated we needed to pay more money. We needed to move our in person event to a virtual event and they were the best platform to get the job done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've used Social Tables at my previous venue and my current venue as replacements for older, less usable software. I've found their customer service is almost always above average and they are willing to make as many fixes as needed to get your floorplans up to where they need to be. They are generally quite quick to respond and do pretty well at maintaining personal relationships with their clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The BIGGEST downside to Social Tables hands down is the lack of mobile-friendly diagramming. They actually used to provide this service through an app you could download on a tablet or phone, but stopped servicing the app when they did an overhaul of the software. I was very distraught to learn this because I had no clue the app wasn't being updated as well and my staff at both my previous and current venues have tablets specifically so that they can diagram with clients onsite while conducting walkthroughs of the space. I think this needs to be remedied so either the website has a mobile friendly version or the app is updated/recreated immediately, as this is the largest downside and could only benefit them to fix. The other downsides are: they are unable to properly build out heights for spaces so all heights are arbitrary in 3D, gridline darkness/weight cannot be adjusted, you cannot make many adjustments when exporting your diagram as a PDF, and some other minor things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Definitely ask for the demo to try it yourself. I think you and your clients will love it! Also - help me in asking for better mobile friendly diagramming!! :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The BEST benefit to Social Tables hands down is being able to provide a link so either your client can assist with editing the diagram or they can view it so you are able to do a phone call and they can watch you make edits live on the diagram. This has been instrumental at my previous and current venue to making clients feel more included in the process and impressed with our software! The diagrams are also clean and easy to read which is beneficial to our staff, especially operations, as well as our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love Ticket Tailor. It had been recommended to me by one of my business mentors and I was hesitant at first and tried to find other options to be able to get my class out there for my members to pay to attend but then decided to give Ticket Tailor a go.
I was not disappointed! I needed to get things online fast - and once I got my payment platforms sorted - I use Stripe and connected my accounts - the rest was really quite straight forward.
Everything just felt seamless.
1. There is a testing platform - brilliant to see what the customer experience will be.
2. Associated ticket/doorlist app - super useful.
3. Dedicated personalisation available for my box office.
4. Able to upload my own images to align with my business/event.
5. Personalised emails - pre-event, post ticket purchase.
6. AMAZING troubleshooting - I asked questions in the chat - and super-speedy responses that were saved so that I can go back to see what I had asked and the solutions.
7. Love the different payment options - PAYG and a different level for those with higher ticket sales. My events are small so it was good to have PAYG option so that the fee was taken per ticket.
8. Great functionality around where you might choose to put your ticket tailor link - so you can analyse where your ticket sales are coming from - so the different platform-specific links are really helpful if you are on multiple platforms.
9. Really useful analytics - I am not really a number cruncher but I like to see the graphs and the percentages telling me how my sales are going from week to week/ month to month.
10. Great FAQs to help me look for solutions. If I could not find the answer I could use Chat to ask more specific questions.
11.Overall - super happy with everything. Can you tell? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ONLY downside for me was the fact that there was no 'shopping basket' option - as my members want to be able to book multiple events - but I had a good chat with one of the troubleshooters - and fed that back as a 'nice feature' to have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

PheedLoop.com powers conferences, trade shows, and expos worldwide! An all-in-one management and engagement platform for event managers, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and at
PheedLoop makes the transition from in-person to virtual events seamless and have an intuitive platform that is easy to use and well supported. The support from the daily webinars was so valuable and I am so appreciative to George for answering the many many questions! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At times, there can be limited customization of various options (like reporting) and therefore one must learn how to do things the PheedLoop way to make it work for your own context. One was defaulting the Virtual Event page to a Personal Schedule view vs. the global schedule. We had to instruct people on how to filter that for themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
PheedLoop is an excellent platform and I would not hesitate to use it again. When looking at other virtual event services prior to our event a few mentioned that even they use PheedLoop (they would just bill us to do all the set-up) so that made us confident that we were in the right place! We were hesitating with deciding between in-person and virtual and probably left that decision too long so we had a short time to get set-up. I think with more time we could have learned more of the ins and outs of PheedLoop and benefited more from the different features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In-person events have been integral to our organization but with Covid-19 restrictions we have needed to pivot as the desire to still meet to learn and build community is still there. PheedLoop provides a great service and method for maintaining this. While ZOOM does offer a lot of benefits it is limited in simulating an in-person event and we have appreciated PheedLoop's platform for increasing networking and collaboration while also helping to deliver content in a compelling way. As such, we have benefited by maintaining our educational opportunities and community-building in this tumultuous time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that I can create an event in less then 5 minutes - and then scale my community to hundreds of in real life (IRL) events around the world, is simply something no other software can do.
If you're into Customer-to-Customer (C2C) marketing or simply creating a community around an idea, brand or cause, then Bevy is your solution. The power of it's Analytics, Permissions and ease of Events Management surpasses anything else out there.
Creating community events has never been this easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I drag and drop the videos and images from my recent event onto the page to showcase what we are about, and excite future attendees, I wish it would load slightly faster, but I think that could just be my slow internet in Africa. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Jump onto a call with the Bevy team and ask the hard questions. If you are satisfied, then get it. The Bevy team iterate often, so there are amazing features coming out every week, often a requested feature can be delivered in record time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bevy solved our biggest problem - scale.
When Startup Grind grew larger than 150 In Real Life (IRL) chapters around the world, we needed a system that could take us securely into the future. Now with 600+ chapters around the world hosting 2000+ events a year, we are still ablet o grow even more confidently.
The permissions allow that chapter leaders (chapter directors) have full access to the information they need, but not have access to sensitive user information, nor have access to other communities, or chapters. At an admin level, we are able to see the overview picture with the powerful analytics as well as easily onboard and offboard our chapter leaders.
Selling tickets at a global level as well as having to manage revenue share and payouts was an absolute pain - with Bevy, it's mostly automated, solving another massive pain point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simplified way of creating an event and making it live is the best thing about TownScript. After the event is created one can update the event description multiple times and also make necessary changed to the overall content is a great idea. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The commission charge off course is too high, for a 500 Rs ticket the overall commission is 35 Rs (including PG charges). I think this can be made better. Also the options on payment reports can be made better, they are not very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a great platform to reach out to masses and if you want to sell your tickets without creating and maintaining your own Payment Gateway. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reason I am using Townscript is to reach to wider masses and announce my event on a digital platform that can accept the payments for me which makes me free from the creation of my own Payment gateway. Also my event is been viewed by many people whom I can't reach otherwise via social media. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is quite easy to learn how to use all the features. Instruction page is quite nice and you can always ask for help. There is 2 min. response time which is great. People from Inevent are always available for a chat about whatever it is you need. Very nice experience so far. Our expectations were quite hight, but InEvent works as intended. We have augmented InEvent experience with our virtual production and were able to stream and play videos from our virtual studio to enhance the experience. There is a great flexibility to this solution. Some features are missing, but the team is working on adding new features and communicates them clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've run into a few problems and servers issues. For example automated email for people to check in just prior to an event failed to send and we've also had issues early on with the Zoom integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Take a real look at an actual Hopin event and have someone who is actually using it as a show organizer show you around. Our work flow as event organizers is unique and not always a straight line and the Hopin process lets me build things over time. The platform is very flexible and I can adapt it to quite a few unique scenarios, and with the great pricing justify even a smaller program to hold their event online in this Covid world. We can't just stop helping customers and buyers meet and connect so we need a better tool to do this - and Hopin is that tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an event organizer 2020 threw everyone a curve ball. The simple approach was to just cancel the 2020 events and say 'see you in 2021'. We couldn't do that while helping and serving our community. Enterprise cloud technology is fast innovation and enterprise customers are demanding solutions - they can't wait 12 months. We needs a flexible tool and Hopin is that platform. We evaluated 17 platforms and most just didn't solve the need to bring our community together. We have been growing our events in 2020 on Hopin and transforming a local program to become global. Hoping makes it very easy to participate as an attendee, the layout is clean and minimalist with no silly graphics or attempt to "look" live a convention center. Participation on mobile, on a tablet or a desktop device is simple. Every time I showcase the Hopin platform to one of our sponsors they "get it" instantly and appreciate a quality solution. We are now on our second conference with a brand new third event still to take place in 2020, all on Hopin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to view and manage requests and get updates about your repair requests. You can have multiple vendors for each category which helps you get the best rates and quicker service. I like that I can set up a preferred vendor as well. There are tons of options for reports and analytics which as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Vendors have to choose to use Servicechannel and i have noticed that many smaller local vendors are reluctant to use. I've heard feedback that the onboarding and training process for vendors needs to be easier to allow for smaller vendors with less resources the ability to use servicechannel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Take the time to go through the training offered and reach out to support with questions. Servicechannel provides great support and training when you need it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Follow up with vendors is easier and less time consuming. Gone are the days of having to call a vendor and ask for updates. I can even use the mobile app to log on and view upsated statuses and all my maintenance and repairs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Eventmobi was very quick in responding to any questions and at troubleshooting any problem that arose. The platform itself is very user friendly, a lot of attendees complimented this feature. Very manageable and easy to navigate in the back-end. The platform integrated easily with our zoom accounts. We were able to get the look and feel we wanted with the eventmobi platform. It was very easy for attendees to interact with one another whether it be through one-on-one meetings, the community boards or in sessions. It was very easy to achieve our goals of creating a space for our network to share, participate and reconnect. In terms of help from the eventmobi team we had great support. Leading up to the event they were very responsive and great with checking in and making sure everybody was satisfied and on the same page. The team was somehow even more responsive during the event to meet any questions or needs we had. It was extremely easy to work with eventmobi. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There was only one small issue in which I couldn't find a direct answer on the eventmobi website, however, our expert helped in figuring it out in no time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Swoogo is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, especially compared to the event site platform we used before. It really enables the user to self-serve; on the rare occasion that the user can't figure out how to do something on their own, there is a robust help center with an article or video either from a Swoogo team member or another Swoogo user. If you do have to submit a question using the Contact Us feature, the team is quick to respond, helpful and pleasant to work with. Swoogo is also constantly adding features and improving old ones; they don't remain stagnant. Finally, I appreciate that the company has a sense of humor, seen on their website and in their emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is not necessarily a drawback but is something worth considering -- Because Swoogo is always adding features and improving their old ones, my team does occasionally have to relearn how to do something or change our process from one event to the next. Our favorite time-saving move is to clone an old event and update for the next one, but the constant release/update of features does mean we have to check to be sure everything is working as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Swoogo was already a great partner when doing in-person events in years past, and they were in a good place pre-COVID. Their response to the sudden and overwhelming need for virtual events was swift and has been continually improved all year. They are open to listening to/collaborating with their users to establish useful features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
After a comprehensive evaluation process, we chose Attendify because of its good looking and well-thought-out user interface. The virtual experience is very easy to use for non-technical users, and the fact that it displays the Zoom call within the experience makes it into centralized location for all aspects of our event. All of the 150+ sessions of our virtual conference were able to be shown within Attendify's scheduling feature, and the speaker profiles made it quick and easy for attendees to choose the sessions they were most interested in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At the time of our conference, the integration with Eventbrite was not working due to a problem with its API being changed. As a result, we were unable to automatically import all of our registered attendees and instead we had to make use of the bulk CSV import feature in the Attendify admin center. This was not easy to use and we had to split up our large number of registrations into multiple batches to get them all imported successfully. It was a little bit of extra unplanned effort but we were able to get it done with the help of Attendify's great support team via the website's chat feature. They were always very responsive, even during off-hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were able to offer all 150+ sessions during our annual conference as an all-virtual event for the first time. Attendify enabled us to have individual Zoom sessions that were easy to locate and join by non-technical attendees. It was really a game changer for us and made for a wildly successful online event. It was a good all-round platform, combining the common webinar functionality with a flexible exhibition booth format, and especially the ability to incorporate networking tables was important to us. In my research, Hubilo had the best combination of these three elements plus a modern look and feel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
not really dislikes, but I would improve:
- the ability to download analytics directly (instead of via email)
- being able to send chat messages (eg share a link) with people you are in a call with, at a table.
- Have an option in your pricing plan that is not event based. In this way we could create a more permanent solution to showcasing businesses. With less functionality would be ok. e.g. have a exhibition of businesses that we have up all year, and can direct people to as needed, without the need for video calls etc.
- being able to categorise exhibitors in more detail would be useful, more like we can with attendees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To enable networking and introductions to the small businesses that we champion, particularly with the Covid19 situation making physical events impossible. The remote functionality is what attracts me the most, with virtual reality plans that allow me to organize and plan every detail, no matter how minute it may be, of each event that we must carry out, and thus bring this organization to real life, which makes our event to the next level, it is perfect how we can bring reality to the virtual world and vice versa. Thanks to pre-designed templates and plans it is possible to streamline the work, it offers invitation management tools, as well as the seats will be distributed. Visrez team was quick to render our event space, furniture and props in 3D. Great support allowing many updates including for our new Covid setups.

The platform on the back end is very easy to use. The way the customizable fields are laid out makes it easy to see what needs to be updated. There isn't a lot in terms of figuring out where information needs to be put, which is nice. You are also able to see updates to your campaign status in real-time, which means you don't need to constantly refresh the page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice if there were ways to customize the main background or page background on the site. Being able to really brand it to match your organizations branding would be a big bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I highly recommend Swell Fundraising to anyone who may be interested in using the platform. Their customer service is fantastic, the platform is very easy to use, and it's reasonably priced. Even when we had a minor technical issue with the platform, the team at Swell was quick to resolve it. We will likely continue to use them well into the future for other events, especially hybrid events, as we are able to incorporate them into whatever efforts we are doing. I really cannot recommend them enough and encourage anyone looking for an affordable, top-of-the-line virtual event platform to give them a try. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have been able to easily transition to virtual events with Swell Fundraising and also involve many people outside our immediate community in our fundraising efforts. Giving through the platform is very easy and straight forward. We've been able to increase the number of people involved in our campaigns very easily with minimal effort thanks to the platform. The platform also allows you to very easily start a peer to peer fundraising campaign, which is so helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
