CarePatron has been a game-changer for my practice from day one. The video appointment feature is incredibly smooth. My clients receive clear links, sessions connect without headaches, and the layout is intuitive for both the provider and the client. I can move from my schedule to a video session in just a few clicks, and everything feels organized and steady. For clients who may not be tech savvy, this matters a lot, and CarePatron has made that part almost effortless.

Billing and invoicing are just as straightforward. Sending invoices takes only moments, and everything is clean, clear, and easy to track. The email system is simple to use and very professional, so clients receive what they need without confusion. Instant messaging inside the platform is another major win. What do you dislike about Carepatron?

The only thing I dislike is a recent change in the calendar workflow. I used to be able to click directly on the client’s name in the calendar and go straight into the video appointment. About four weeks ago that changed, and now I have to click on the appointment, hit edit, then send, and only then can I get into the video session. It is not a deal breaker at all, but it does add extra steps to something that used to be very simple. If they bring back the ability to join the video call just by clicking the client’s name in the calendar, the experience would be absolutely perfect for me, because I truly love the rest of the program and how easy everything else is to use. What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

I like the client portal in Zanda. It saves me time and money by allowing clients to book their own appointments, which cuts down on back-and-forth emails for scheduling. The client portal is great because it lets clients see their invoices, receipts, and what they've paid for, giving them more transparency and choice. Billing people in advance also means I get paid more often, which is helpful. The initial setup of Zanda was really easy, and I was able to transfer things quickly. I don't find the automations particularly clear, especially when setting them up for each individual type of therapy. I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong or if it's just not intuitive. What do you like best about splose?

I find Splose very useful for handling all my practice management as a dietitian. It solves a lot of admin issues and invoicing so much quicker and integrates well with Xero and my calendar, saving me smart time. The AI feature is very helpful for doing notes and documentation, saving a lot of time, and the SMS feature for sending reminders is also very helpful, relieving me from admin time. What do you dislike about splose?

I'm not able to very well understand the linking with all the invoices with Xero, and that's not still working with me 100%. If there is something less complicated, that would be really good. It's really difficult to send forms like a service agreement and the intake form if they are not embedded. Sending them in a PDF format or a link for easy filling could be less complicated. I would love to be able to use Splose with my meal planning software, but it doesn't at the moment. I find ModMed incredibly useful for quickly reviewing patient charts, which is essential in my dermatology practice. The ease of chart review, especially using the visual body feature, allows me to efficiently assess and compare patient photos from previous to current visits. This capability is particularly valuable as it provides on-the-fly information, which is crucial when I'm out of the office and need to reference patient records. I love the integration with Apple devices, enhancing my interaction and accessibility with the software. The ability to create stickies for counseling and recommendations facilitates efficient documentation and communication, streamlining my workflow significantly. What do you dislike about ModMed?

I find incorporating attachments into ModMed cumbersome, and embedding them directly into the chart for consultants is not as seamless as I would like. The lack of a hyperlink feature within the body of notes to link directly to corresponding photos or written impressions adds unnecessary complexity to workflow. I also feel that the area reserved for important patient details like allergies, blood thinner use, and other critical information is not prominently displayed, which could improve through a more visible interface. The absence of color-coding for different types of visits also reduces the clarity in the schedule and could enhance organization. Searching for other HISP direct mail users and their addresses isn't as intuitive as expected. It would be beneficial if ModMed could support dot phrases similar to those in Epic, allowing for more efficient shorthand note-taking. The limited functionality of native phrases in EMA, and the inability to copy or utilize phrases from others, further restricts efficiency. Lastly, the transition to using ModMed was made difficult by the lack of adequate time with experts. The platform combines scheduling, electronic patient records, consent, billing, and automated communication into one system and supports good record-keeping, traceability, and quality assurance.

An important advantage is the helpdesk. Support is easily accessible, actively thinks along, and assists with both technical questions and setting up workflows and onboarding. The support feels involved and solution-oriented. Additionally, there is often room for consultation and accommodations or custom agreements through the account manager or representative, which is pleasant for growth or long-term use.

I love that I am able to manage everything all in one place (invoices, billing, scheduling, notes, templates, protocols, programs, chat, etc.). I love that I am able to set up automations for these things because I am a one-woman show in my business. I also love the snippets feature. Customer support has always been great, and the help center has been great to answer my own questions, but also to share with clients. I use Practice Better every day in my business, and I couldn't imagine using another system at this point. A majority of my work is done via Zoom, and I love the Zoom integration. While Opus has made some processes smoother, billing therapists and tracking hours has actually gotten trickier. What used to be simple now takes a bit more clicking, guessing, and double-checking.

Calendar Learning Curve

The online calendar has a unique style—which is a nice way of saying it took a minute (or several) to get the hang of. Once we adjusted, it was manageable, but the transition wasn’t exactly intuitive.

Insurance & Billing Setup Woes

Unfortunately, the initial setup by the Opus team missed the mark. Insurance and billing info was entered incorrectly, which meant we had to go in and manually fix client details ourselves—not exactly the time-saver we were hoping for.

Opus is helping streamline a lot of the daily admin tasks that used to eat up time and energy. Things like and using the chat feature are now way more efficient and accessible. I found that the UI is very colourful that makes people to work enthusiastic and it makes people engaged if they work for long time too. It would be great if we could implement few things. 1. For some cases, the SAE form needs to downloaded for wet signature in that case it would be better to get the SAE as PDF but without audits so it would be great if the PDF without audit also available in EDC.

As a speech pathologist, data is key. I love that I see the goals each time I open a note for my session. I love that I can add both a percentage as well as some clarifying notes. I love that there is goal button both on the note and on the appointment so I can look at a graph of when we worked on each goal, see the progression over time and plan my session. This is extremely helpful in a busy practice. It is very easy to schedule and I like that I can prest things, I can set different appointment types and I can color code them! Being a visual person, I love that I can differentiate what appointment is an evaluation, a meeting or a therapy session quickly and easily! I looked at many programs and this one fit all the things that I wanted. In addition, they have been very helpful and I am always able to get a quick answer to any questions that I have and my questions have always been answered quickly and in a way that makes it easy to figure out what to do! I would like to see group billing. I provide services to a school and it would be nice to put all the invoices under one payer/header to make it a little easier but I may just not have found the way to do this as of yet. I needed a solution that had everything in one place. I wanted to be able to have my schedule, keep my notes and evaluations, bill private pay and bill insurance but in an organized and easy way and this was the only option that I found that met all my needs. The biggest selling point was the ability to collect data and see graphs showing me when the goal was worked on and be able to see the progression over time. What do you like best about CampDoc?

CampDoc is the closets program I have seen to do what is necessary for information gathering and reporting that is necessary for camp than any other software. If you are looking for a point of sale program like Camp Brain, then that is the way to go. If you use Daxko for camp and need an information gathering system, CampDoc is your program! I have moved to 3 different camps and I have brought CampDoc with me to each camp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CampDoc?

Down side is only that I have to use CampDoc because Daxko falls short of being able to provide what I need to run an overnight camp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CampDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about ECP?

ECP is very user friendly for both staff, administrators, and HR. Our implementation process had it's troubles but I recieved awesome support. Our implementation Specialist, Nick Munden gave quick responses, had amazing attetion to detail, and really went above and beyond in several ways. We use ECP daily for all of our EMAR needs. ECP has tons of features that really allow you to customize it to fit your communites needs. When we switched to ECP getting everyone familiar to a new system took some training but overall the integration process was not too labor intensive. Our staff were able to catch on quickly to this. What do you dislike about ECP?

ECP could improve the bowel monitoring process. There is not really anything in place currently to be able to quickly see who has not had a BM in x amount of days. This would be a huge benfit to our staff and residents. Additionally a "911 quick print" button would be very helpful for emergency situations.
