I find incorporating attachments into ModMed cumbersome, and embedding them directly into the chart for consultants is not as seamless as I would like. The lack of a hyperlink feature within the body of notes to link directly to corresponding photos or written impressions adds unnecessary complexity to workflow. I also feel that the area reserved for important patient details like allergies, blood thinner use, and other critical information is not prominently displayed, which could improve through a more visible interface. The absence of color-coding for different types of visits also reduces the clarity in the schedule and could enhance organization. Searching for other HISP direct mail users and their addresses isn't as intuitive as expected. It would be beneficial if ModMed could support dot phrases similar to those in Epic, allowing for more efficient shorthand note-taking. The limited functionality of native phrases in EMA, and the inability to copy or utilize phrases from others, further restricts efficiency. Lastly, the transition to using ModMed was made difficult by the lack of adequate time with experts. There’s nothing that I strongly dislike about EHR your way. I would say that I feel the mobile site could be more user friendly… it’s challenging to search clients and navigate it the same way as the desktop version which in prefer but it is a newer tool and not worked all kinks out which is fair. Billing & Hours = More Headaches

While Opus has made some processes smoother, billing therapists and tracking hours has actually gotten trickier. What used to be simple now takes a bit more clicking, guessing, and double-checking.

Calendar Learning Curve

The online calendar has a unique style—which is a nice way of saying it took a minute (or several) to get the hang of. Once we adjusted, it was manageable, but the transition wasn’t exactly intuitive.

Insurance & Billing Setup Woes

Unfortunately, the initial setup by the Opus team missed the mark. Insurance and billing info was entered incorrectly, which meant we had to go in and manually fix client details ourselves—not exactly the time-saver we were hoping for.

Opus is helping streamline a lot of the daily admin tasks that used to eat up time and energy. Things like and using the chat feature are now way more efficient and accessible. It’s basically taken some of the chaos out of managing client logistics and made everything feel a little more organized and centralized—which means we can spend more time actually supporting clients and less time wrestling with scheduling or paperwork. The in-form repeating log-line was a major drawback, and I’m glad Viedoc has already addressed it in this release. Viedoc, as a system, has many features that support the day-to-day work of a data manager. I especially appreciate its fast performance, cross-functional query management, and the ease of implementing and reviewing reports. Spry is solving several key challenges we faced with previous EMR systems, particularly inefficiency, poor usability, and lack of meaningful support. Its intuitive design and streamlined workflows have made daily operations much more efficient, while the hands-on onboarding and ongoing support ensure issues are quickly resolved without disrupting clinic flow. Additionally, Spry addresses gaps in billing and business visibility by providing dedicated billing support and robust reporting tools, allowing us to better manage insurance versus cash-pay services and clearly understand our clinic’s financial performance. I wish there was better communication about what options can all be used to personalize ClinicMind as a chiropractor. Regular trainings could be a little bit easier to manage. I wish questions could be answered outside of ClinicMind chat time, because I'm working a lot on my business outside of my patient hours, when ClinicMind chat hours are also offline. In a shared environment, the schedule and calendar can become overwhelming. It occasionally freezes during peak hours and gives a notification of internet not being connected when it is. I find Fusion by Ensora Health simplifies scheduling with easy check-in and tracking changes. The drag and move feature makes adjusting appointments effortless, and it's easy to change therapists and manage series. ECP could improve the bowel monitoring process. There is not really anything in place currently to be able to quickly see who has not had a BM in x amount of days. This would be a huge benfit to our staff and residents. Additionally a "911 quick print" button would be very helpful for emergency situations.
