I use Zanda (formerly Power Diary) for my speech therapy clinic. It makes writing notes and scheduling easy for therapists, which I really appreciate. What I like most about it is that it’s easy to use. The initial setup was very easy too.

Make it cheaper. Include SMS in the package.

**What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

I find Zanda (formerly Power Diary) extremely valuable for my occupational therapy practice due to its user-friendly nature, which made it easy for a newcomer like me to set up without any pressure. The ability to test it out slowly before fully committing was a significant benefit, especially since I'm the only practitioner in my small OT practice. The integration with Zoom or telehealth is particularly helpful, simplifying online client connections in an entirely virtual practice. I appreciate the software’s ease of use and the flexibility it offers, with multiple pathways for tasks like inputting client details, making it very accessible. The automation features, like setting up email or SMS reminders, are easy to use despite me not using them extensively yet. I also value the integrated forms, which are well-worded and specific, aiding the setup process efficiently. Furthermore, the pricing structure is accommodating for a slow-growing practice, ensuring I don't pay high for unused features, making it an appealing option to continue and recommend.

I dislike the limitation in Zanda's group meeting feature where there's no option for a general link due to privacy settings, and it only provides a recurrent link.

Zanda Health is a very easy program to use in our everyday work. Whilst not using everything that is available the features are extensive.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

Reporting could be made simpler and more extensive, especially in the financial area. Ongoing cost of SMS messages sent and received to the PowerDiary - cost is excessive.

**Recommendations to others considering Zanda (formerly Power Diary):**

I would  recommend PowerDiary to anybody looking for this type of product.

**What problems is Zanda (formerly Power Diary) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to keep track of our employees and maintain their calendars in a single view. Good tracking of financial income.

With regards to the SMS messages, please note that you don't pay to receive any messages, just to send them. If you're finding that your costs are high, check that the messages you're sending are not too long. If they are longer than 160 characters, the provider has to send them as multiple messages (and then rejoins them into one). This is not something we can control but if you keep your messages shorter this shouldn't happen. All the best, Fiona

**What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

We were a old school until we implemented Zanda into our practice.  It has provided a one stop shop for all things client based and sped up invoicing which had been extremely laborious. Our clinicians enjoy the professionalism of the software and found it really easy to implement.  It integrates well with Xero and the customer support has been essential in improving high end use.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

Some add ons not required so means unnecessary scrolling down the screen.  Would like a better way to combine invoices rather than rewording the statements to look like an invoice (and the ST needs to be able to be edited out!)

Used multiple systems in the past so all on one database is much more efficient, esp in regards invoicing which previously meant handling one piece of data up to 4 times.

I really appreciate how easy it is to schedule clients and see my appointments at a glance. The invoicing feature has been a big help for managing payments from senior centers and home visits. Most of all, the support team was extremely helpful when I was setting up my templates, which made a big difference for me, especially since I could customize them to my specific needs and keep adjusting them as my business grew.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

One area I think could be improved is the selection and transfer of podiatry-related templates. When I was creating my templates, the offerings for my specialty were a bit slim, and the one I chose didn’t transfer as well into my notes as I’d hoped. Also, Zanda doesn’t allow me to track my business expenses, only income.

I didn’t have any problems. I needed a Hippa compliant EMR and after reviewing a few for ease o f use and price I chose Zanda.

Helps out busy practice keep all our PID secure. The UI is easy to use and the team are highly responsive to our requests for new features. We have been able to personalise our own version with everything we need. It’s saved a lot of man hours and made the management less stressful. We particularly like the new chat and note transcription features.

Adding resources is tricky. A more seamless room booking diary would be good. An app version to book rooms and send internal comms would be brilliant.

The Zanda platform is great, providing tailored options for clinics. This includes how they communicate with their client base via email templates and automation set up.
Access from clients to an online portal, where they can check appointments and invoices. Again all options can be controlled and tailored by the clinc.
Further to this Zanda adapt and listen, always on hand for direct support and are open to ideas, where you can detail an option and if viable this can and will be supported.
They complete regular informative webinars to help drive the use of the platform and are always progressively moving forward with their client base.
I have used many platforms in varying industries and I think Zanda is the most intuitive, with options to personalise and allow clarity for both clinicians and clients alike.
I highly recommend this health care system. It makes our clinic seamless and adapt to the needs of the business!

Some features and automations do not work specifically for our clinic. However ideas are submitted and awaiting feedback or approval.

Zanda is our daily "tool box"
From diary and bookings, to email outreach, reminders and through to clinic notes and client information. 
This platform helps to organise the clinic, clinicians and administrative team to full fruition. At speed, ease of use and autonomy.

I dislike the limitations in handling family or couple information effectively within the software. When managing configurations for couples or families, especially in billing situations like choosing which parent to bill or setting up contact details for both parents, I faced difficulties. It would be beneficial to have a specific section or tree layout to better manage these types of client scenarios, allowing for clear organization and information retrieval.

**What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

Zanda is an efficient platform, easy to use and has helped greatly in making my admin and practice run smoothly. Whenever I'm stuck I can easily contact customer support or use the handy chatbot at the bottom left of the screen. I use it frequently for all my invoicing and it's easy to integrate other practitioners and my admin staff. All in all it's extremely effective after having to find another platform sue to my previous platform going into administration.

I'm still trying to figure out if I am able to hold a meeting on the platform without registering a client. The subscription should include unlimited meetings as you're already paying for a subscription. So having to pay extra to get unlimited rather than 4 free only per month is a let down.

I have been using Zanda for about 6 months, and I would say I use it most days in my solo mental health counselling practice. It  was pretty intuitive to learn how to navigate it, and it is not visually overwhelming which is important to me as an ADHDer. I like the dashboard, which gives me visual feedback about tracking progress notes and billing/payments from clients. It's kind of like an unobtrusive, secret boss :) that helps me stay organized and on track in my practice. It is HIPAA and PIPEDA compliant (I hope I got those acronyms right) for client confidentiality. The price point is reasonable too, which I really appreciate as a new business owner. I also got help transferring client data, and was able to integrate it into my website fairly easily. Overall, I'm very happy with Zanda.

As a solo, part-time private practice SLP, I was looking for an EMR system that was affordable but still offered certain features (paperless intakes, customizable templates, etc.) and Zanda is fantastic for the price! It didn't take me long to figure out how to get everything set up. The customization of forms and notes is great. They recently added an AI feature for notes which is saving me so much time! I also appreciate that the couple times I've had an issue, Zanda has been super responsive via email and always gets the problem fixed quickly. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with this EMR system and recommend it to other solo SLPs who are looking for something easy to use and affordable!

I've always found Zanda to be simple to navigate and get my head around. On top of this their team are really proactive in their communication and very helpful in solving problems where they can. Their support team I dealt with was Australian-based, which made it really easy to get things figured out. It also integrates well with everything I need, and this was easy to set up.

There's no downsides to using Zanda that I've found, however as it has become more popular I think I have noticed some page load times slowing down just a little bit. It still runs fast though.

**What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

I've tried and searched for many different personal training admin solutions and I'm happy to finally be using Zanda. Many of the others have the drawback of trying to be an all-in-one solution by bundling in tools such as exercise programming and nutrition. This results in higher prices whilst not providing the best in class for those specific tools. 

Zanda has worked well and was a seamless transfer from the old system. It was customisable enough that there is a work around when I needed to do something specific due to a client's requirement.

This is not the tool for Personal Trainers looking for nutrition and exercise programming but it is perfect if you are just after scheduling (including SMS reminders), invoicing, and client's notes.

Makes it easier and faster to book in clients. 

Gives a better customer experience, looking more professional. 

Easier to keep track of everything as each client has an account, which you can use for SMS/email reminders, booking in, payments, templates to save time etc. 

I love the staff at Zanda - super patient and friendly and always on hand to help. They reply by email normally within 24 hours,sometimes 48, and if you get stuck, book in a Zoom call to discuss. They are friendly. helpful and generous with their time and expertise. 

I don't consider myself "techie" but I have been able to figure this out with their help and actually I'd say the software is pretty intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

I'm not sure it can get much better but I haven't used other similar software to be honest, so hard to compare. But I can say my first experience using this kind of software, has been an overwhelmingly positive experience, and not looking back! 

I did let Zanda team known that I think the video software ought to be Zoom as it's so much better than what they were using for me as a clinician, and guess what - Zoom is now integrated. They listened to customer feedback and delivered! I cancelled my Zoom subscription saving some money too. 

The only thing I don't like is the SMS costs. I seem to spend quite a lot, making the overall cost much more than I would like, so have started using my phone more often now to save that cost, but then again if you want to or can afford that within your business, go for it, it does make it easier and faster, and again - keeps everything "all in one place" and connected to the client's account, which is more convenient and professional.

Much more secure in terms of GDPR. Power diary has the highest security levels I have come across (ISO 2007i), streamlining the process, saving me time (templates etc)

I like the fact that Zanda supports every aspect of my business: appointments, invoices, video calls, client booking portal etc. It has reduced my admin hours and has reduced my time on appointment bookings as people can book their own time slots. The introduction of AI has also made a significant difference when it comes to writing client notes. I'm looking forward to future updates that will also write reports and emails.

There are very occasional moments when Zanda appears stuck / frozen, but this doesn't happen often and you can usually get in contact with support quickly.

We were a new business in 2020 and have only ever used Zanda (formerly Powerdiary). Some staff members were formerly employed in a similar clinic and reported that the software they used was much clunkier and didnt do some of the things Zanda can do.

Everything I need is conveniently located in one place and accessable from anywhere.  I appreciate how well it integrates with my other business software. The billing features and reminders also work effectively. An improved visual apperance helps as well. I use it every day and I would be lost without it.  As it is webbased it is easy to use across home and work and set up was flawless. The  customer support is improving and there is always someone to talk to once if there is a problem that the AI bot cant help with.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

My biggest problem is that this isn't available as an app, and the mobile website is clunky and does not work that well on my phone so trying to do anything on my phone is extremely difficult. I would like them to add some things to forms like CORE 10 and the PHQ9/34 as well as they are industry standard in the UK. I don't use the AI function much and may be a bit of a gimmick but I will see how much that works - Also not aware of how that may be used in training the LLM.

**What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

great features, also the resources in the practice manual made it easy for me to set up my business. appointments are seamless and the integrations are only getting better.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

I haven’t found any yet. The software covers every aspect of what I need it for, potentially just the integrations, which are being added.

**What problems is Zanda (formerly Power Diary) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to automate the majority of my admin processes and the note taking is seem less with the ability to copy over notes from previous weeks.

**What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

Zanda's platform is both easy to navigate and is beautifully developed. I trialled alterantive platforms before selecting Zanda and the graphics are by far the easiest to work with and navigate. Zanda also has an extensive library of support tools to watch and learn the functionalities of the platform. When you still need additional support, the online Team is accessible and are able to help find a solution to your query.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

Zanda isn't a widely used platform for Audiology. The templates need adjusting to really fit them for each Audiology clinics purpose.

**What problems is Zanda (formerly Power Diary) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zanda provides a seamless platform for patient bookings, payments, Medicare and DVA claims as well as record keeping and communication. I am yet to use the Telehealth module but am thrilled it is available for when the need arises.

I like being able to customize Zanda to my needs. I also think the customer support has been excellent.

It has more functionality than I need because I am a single user.

**What problems is Zanda (formerly Power Diary) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My whole practice functions well off this system. Clients can manage their appointments, it manages my accounts and process notes. It is a great all in one package.
