**What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

The integration of diary features with notes, backed up with invoicing and linking with medicare. Features such as being able to attach documents also help.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

Although the web based mobile page is pretty good, it still clogs up the Chrome tabs; it would be nice to have a dedicated app. Additionally, having an icon on the calender view for each diary entry to indicate whether that session has been paid and whether the notes have been completed for that session without having to click on the individual appointment to get that information.

Diary management, professional record keeping, online forms, invoicing, interfacing with medicare, client sms reminders... all in the same package to reduce double entry of client information.

It allows me to keep track of patients seen  and accounts that has not been paid in just a search by company name or pt name. The cost campared to others is great because I can do the same thing they offer just at a fraction of the cost.

I wish that it allowed me to add a tab in the complete and pending section or to just edit the title, but outside of that I don't think there would be anything at this time that I would change.

It's helping me keep the finical end on track with my accounting. With the tax portion of it and the fact that it allows me to keep the tax included into what I'm charging verse me having to do more calculations.

At this stage, the Appointment Statuses are a system setting that cannot be customised. Please consider using the Appointment Flags that can have a name and colour coding of your choice. They are set up under Setup > Custom Lists > Appointment Flags.

The chat support is amazing and also providing demo videos and other resources to help our team become familiar with the platform has been amazing.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

Providing a weekly direct debit system would be beneficial for our clients. Some customers struggle to book regularly due to mental health struggles, often resulting in being unable to attend regular or the company needing to remind them. For us, time management is a high priority, therefore with permission from clients to set us direct debit (that we can cancel upon ending with the service), I feel this would further support regular attendance and be more efficient.
It would also be good to have a live message box feature for live chat and telephone feature to expand methods of providing therapy.

**Recommendations to others considering Zanda (formerly Power Diary):**

It is important to become familiar with the system before going live and test out functions before using the system with clients. The system is fantastic but there is a lot to learn.

In support of payments, we currently offer an integration with Stripe which allows you to securely store clients' credit card details and charge the card in case of a no-show. Diary, client details, SMS and billing (Medicare and invoices) are easy to use. Letters to referrers and other organisations is clear and easy to use. I used other platforms but I find this easiest.

It takes some time to set it up and understand but I feel comfortable to use it now. Forms and templates don't always work like I want to.

As well as the overall ease of use of the system, if there is anything you are stuck with, the guys from the help desk are so utterly fabulous at helping you get it sorted.

I can do everything with the one service. Make Medicare claims, write letters to Doctors, send invoices direct to insurance companies. As well as make my own templates for different areas I work in.

Powerdiary (PD) is a user friendly system which has everything you need to run a psychology practice.  Reception staff find it simple.  You can access it from multiple devices (as many as like) as you pay for the calendar not device.   Having built in telehealth video features is amazing.  Love the fact you can process medicare for free via PD.  I could go on....

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

The only downside is the lack of integration to Reckon accounts. It has its own accounts system which is adequate for a simple practice but not sufficient for complex accounting required in a large group practice.

Efficient access to diary when i travel.  All staff can access the diary in real time.  Dont need  expensive zoom for end to end encripted telehealth.  Reminder texts are quick and easy.

Once you've set everything up, it's quite easy to use and saves a lot of time otherwise writing the same types of emails over and over, etc.

Setting everything up initially wasn't that easy; certain aspects were not that intuitive. I ended up booking a help session with one of the staff which was at least free, and helped me to understand it all a bit better, but I did think it would be easier to set up to begin with

Setting up tasks and reminders is really helpful, and not having to write the same types of emails over and over is great. It is a very user friendly system and there are many tutorials and self-help items to figure out how to set it up. The support from the powerdiary team via chat/email is fantastic and very responsive. I've been able to resolve most of my issues with help from the team within the hour.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

There are some small features that make things a bit inefficient. For example, it would be great to have an auto-save feature for any changes we make to a client file or client details. I often work across multiple windows so I can access multiple things at once (e.g. the client's details, my calendar, and the notes for the session). If I click out of one by accident it won't save. 
Designing an invoice is also tricky. It would be helpful to have separate invoice types, rather than having to stick to a single template for all clients. Some clients require different information (e.g. NDIS vs Medicare), so this part of the system is not flexible.

**What problems is Zanda (formerly Power Diary) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PowerDiary makes the management of client information more efficient through their use of templates which I can adjust as needed. The automatic reminders are very helpful, as is the Medicare claiming system. Once I got my head around using it, the system has made almost everything seamless.

The automation is great. Being able to develop communication templates that are sent to clients automatically has more than halved my admin time. I love it!!

I would love if the clients could go in & populate their own data in the client portal. At the moment I send intake forms but then have to transfer the data myself. For example, I prefer the client portal in Halaxy as this allows clients to enter their own information directly

Easy to use booking system, automated admin tasks, reminder emails/texts for appointments, ability to store payment details, linking with Xero - I could go on for days!

I have good news- it is possible to automate the processing of new client intake forms via the Client Portal. Here are the steps:

When you allow a new client to register via the Client Portal, embed the intake form (*with linked profile fields*) into the new client registration confirmation email that is automatically sent to the client. 

This allow the client to fill in the intake form with no extra admin work needed, and the completed form will automatically populate the client's details page for you.

Easy invoicing,  ease of use in general.
Ability to  build own forms and notes, service packs, and the facts that PD monitors number of sessions completed out of ordered.

logo acceps only 1MB file size
when sending email, any active forms or notes cannot be just cop/past but have to be emboded in the original email template. It means it is easy to send an email with pasted forms that are actually not active. 
there is no outcome measure summary table and no self- counting OM forms or graphs/charts.

time - i spend less time doing admin work with higher customer service quality.
Meets all legal requirements regarding recod keeping - no need to worry about storage, etc.

For uploading logos, we recommend resizing it to reduce the file size- if you need help with this, please contact support@powerdiary.com.

If for any reason using the pre-made email template with embedded online forms isn't a viable option, please generate the form draft in a Client Profile > Records  > Forms folder, copy its URL and paste it into the client email. This will need to be done for each client individually, as one form draft will only be valid for the client profile where it was generated. While we don't currently offer outcome measure summary tables or self-counting forms, there is a feature request for calculated form fields that is under review with our product team. I love the clinical notes feature and how easily I can upload supporting documents to every case. I love that it can send digital forms and has a patient portal.

Power Diary doesn't integrate with the medical aid EDI submission in our country (yet) so I don't use the invoicing features at this time. Sometimes there is a lag in the page load time but that could be my connection.

Take the time to really have a look at all the features and how easily you can adapt it to your practice.

When there is an issue someone gets back to you in 24-48 hours with a solution!  It is affordable!

We use the sms messages and it is not a flat rate but a charge per message which can get costly.

**What do you like best about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

I like how many different functions it has under one program for a very reasonable price and its nearly endless customizability. Communications including forms and templates, SMS reminders,  appointment booking and confirmation/calendar management, client portal, payments & invoicing (with Stripe) and insurance/medicare config. Also, it is very secure which is important for my peace of mind, and my clients'.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

I struggled a bit with the form builder at first but I did figure it out with use and referring to the guidance materials. The other concept I found tricky was how the session options you can build and how they relate to the session packs when booking appointments and for invoicing. Still cracking this, but I haven't utilised Power Diary support as much as I should either. Overall it's a wonderful tool. Once set up to suit your business, you won't look back.

The first thing that comes to mind is the number of functions it offers under a single program - this avoids issues with intra-system compatibility which simplifies both set-up and ongoing administration as well as keeping costs down.

I am a sole practitioner, and as such it is much more affordable than other platforms.  It's well-integrated, and easy to use.  My clients like it.  It's easy to jump on make changes, and open the program from multiple locations.  I like the automated reminders, and templates, bulk emails. I love that I can make my own forms and notes.  The payment process is easy, the schedule is easy to modify.

The SMS feature is sticky...sometimes people dont get my messages, I am not sure how to use my phone to message them back. A few emails didnt send.  I wish it was integrated with extended health insurers.  I wish there was a record of bulk sent emails, who to, and what email, and that I could save the list...i know there is mail chimp, but still.  It would a nice design feature to move the blocks around into columns or whatnot on the forms, so they dont appear so long.  An initial feature would be nice instead of FULL NAME for signatures.

As a one woman show, i am able to do what I am trained to do - massage. I don't have to answer phones, book appointments, email forms, send reminders - the things I need to say to my clients are included in my booking process on the main client portal page.  I love that I can control my schedule from anywhere.  I can open the program in 100 places and it all gets saved.

Thanks for your feedback too. If you ever have a report of an SMS not being delivered, please do let our support team know so we can investigate this for you. Working with our gateway partner we can usually track SMS delivery right to the client's phone. If the client's phone carrier was unable to complete delivery of the SMS for some reason, i.e. client's phone service is restricted due to low credit, or network issue, we can see the error message relating to this.

My clients are now able to use the Client Portal to make, amend and delete their appoitments, depending on my cancellation policy. I have almost no "No Shows" due to the automatically generated email reminders. My clients are more self sufficient by timing their appointments themselves and  not feeling pressured for example straight after the session to arrange the next one. New clients can register and submit an Intake Form before the initial session at all times. This saves me a lot of time. The invoicing with Stripe is very handy and you can check outstanding invoices very quickly. The customer support is amazing. Whenever I have a questions, there is someone I can get in touch with weather by arranging an appointment or if during working hours via live-chat. I can highly recommended PD to my colleagues.

I wished the Stripe charges would be less.

Definitely worth swapping to this clinical software when you don't want to bother much about getting your workload organized.

Clients can make appointments themselves. I can keep boundaries much easier by creating a work diary which allows me to have a better work-life balance.

The most helpful thing about power diary is the integration with accounting software. This has made the process of invoicing and charging clients very simple.

One thing that can be improved is making it easy to book couple appointments, there are ways to do this however an account template designed for couples would be helpful.

Communication. In the past, it has been challenging to keep track of all communications with clients from different practitioners or administrative staff, however, powerdiary accumulates all activity. This way, everything is monitored, and repetition is unlikely.

I like the fact that the software can send automatic reminders to my clients. I also like how I can edit the invoice to make it look like I want as well as create my own forms.

The only thing that is less ideal for me is the fact that it doesn't allow me to have 2 different languages as I have some clients that would like English invoices and reminders and others would like it in French.

Cost is great for the product you get. It provides everything I need at a lower rate than most similar programs
I use the reminders, video, scheduling, and forms all the time.

I wish I could move a little more easily between calendar and client. For example, when I want to schedule the next appointment it would be useful to be able to do that from the client page as opposed to needing to go back to the calendar.

This product gives all the required features needed to run your practice and is coming out with more all the time. They are very responsive to the community in terms of adding in features that are requested. Getting help is quick and easy as well. It's very customizable in terms of forms, automated communication, and more. I highly recommend at least trying the product to see if it's right for you.

I have one place to schedule everything and the video and case notes arePIPEDA compliant which is necessary in today's world. I need to feel confident that I am keeping my client's privacy a top priority. When I have that confidence so do they. 
Power Diary also allows me to send electronic forms for signature that I need to do since I see so few people in person anymore. And when I do have paper copies I can upload them for safekeeping.

The online bookings option is amazing.  Power Diary offer helpful and friendly support, too so If I ever need assistance, I don't feel as though it's a big ask for their support team.  The  SOAP notes setup is excellent, and the fact that these can be delivered online without any hassle makes it more conveinant for myself and my clients.  The email templates are handy, as well as the ability to personalize them to each individual.   I also appreciate the space for files to be stored for each client.  When I was looking around for booking systems, this one definitely stood out.  Overall, Glad I went with it, and would recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

Session Packages are not organized very well.  Yes, we can apply them to each session, but there is no option for the client to purchase them at an upfront cost and then book.  The system I have to use just now is disjointed and not as streamlined as everything else.  It's actually costing me business at this point.

Using Power Diary as my booking system, means I'm not spending all my time on the phone taking bookings, and it means I can focus my time and energy on making sure my client notes are specific and up to date.    The payment system is also super conveinant.

The generation of personal Tax Invoices and receipts allows me to individualise these invoices and to create third party payments from care services such as NDIS payments.

Really this is the best online booking system I have used. Occasionally response time has been slow in 2021, but that seems to have been solved this year so well done you.

Being able to create monthly sales reports for tax return is a huge time saver. Moving patient appointments by click and drag is so easy. Changing fees for discounts makes life easy. Much less problem with no-shows as the patient reminder system works really well.

I would love to have an expenses area so that I do not have to employ another platform to enter the expenses as well as then double entry of the income.

At this stage, there isn't a section for recording expenses, so you will need a platform for that. However, this product is incredible in the client record-keeping options and online booking system.

I've been working on my invoice layout (it doesn't seem to place the logo where I thought it would, considering the options.
Overall, I love the income and record-keeping aspect.

I like the simplicity of how our Power Diary appointments sync to my Google calendar. Automated emails on booking and and reminders reduce administration. Easily integrated the online portal into my website and Facebook.

I would like to know when emails have bounced or not received as there is currently no visibility of this. When a client makes part payment for invoice it is not simple to track outstanding balance. I found I had to produce a statement each time for the customer.

Currently using diary management and reporting functionality, and have just implemented the clinical notes online.  During initial  Clinicians have found these super easy and have embraced the new technology very quickly!  Patients who use the online booking system are very happy with it.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

Reports are a little bit limited in terms and some bespoke configuration for certain data fields would be useful.  Not hugely an issue for us currently though.

**What problems is Zanda (formerly Power Diary) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time saved moving to Clinical notes online and will eventually eliminate paper storage.  Much improved booking process - we are still looking to implement more features, including integration with Xero which will should realise time savings by reducing duplication of effort.

I love the whole diary/booking system, especially synced with my Google calendar and Xero. Also, the easiness of creating forms and sending standardized emails.

I do not particularly dislike the function of keeping notes on the system, but I do not use this as I like handwritten notes as this is easier to take to supervision.

The auto-reminders are awesome! Much better client retention and fewer no-shows! I spend a lot less time trying to get my calendar organized, and I can concentrate on the real work :)

I love how intuitive Powerdiary is. The interface is intuitive and you can really tell it's designed with health professionals in mind. I love how easy it is to use.

It would be great if Powerdiary was able to dovetail more intuitively with the NDIS somehow. It would also be great if Powerdiary was able to make programming for clients' goals easier somehow.

Powerdiary has made invoicing so much easier and quicker, which has made my business more efficient. It has also meant less time in note-taking, since all of my clients' details are in the one place.

It's easy to use for both practitioners and clients and allowes for any kind of clinical situation encounter so far, for example editing invoice payment methods or how to simply manage communication with clients etc

There is nothing I dislike!
I would only like to be able to use it to invoice insurance companies as well, however I understand that insurance companies use their own system and so is not possible.

Everything that is related to client work!
Clients management, booking appointments keeping track of clients payments and so much more. Yes my business performance has increased since using Power Diary  and also, the time I spend doing admin now is significantly shorter.

Powerdiary responds to the needs of counseling practice. It allows the business to remain compliant regarding health and privacy legislation and leaves the practitioner free to meet client needs.

The biggest problem this solves is to remain compliant with legalities relating to privacy and telehealth. Could do with a better option to integrate the software with my website.

I love that Powerdiary is intuitive to use so I can find what I need quickly. I've previously used other client management systems that were clunky and confusing. The ability to customise forms, notes and templates has improved my workflow and freed up my time. Plus having a client portal to take client bookings online, and an inbuilt platform for telehealth consults means I have pretty much everything I need in one system.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

There are a couple of essential features that I feel are missing, such as being able to send customised reminder emails based on the appointment type and the ability to change services listed based on your location (I don't offer the same services in every location, so this makes online booking confusing for clients).

Improved workflow and extra time back in my day. Professional client management across every touch point for the client. Client records allow me to keep everything in one place for easy reference.

Add the teen’s mobile phone number to their Client Profile > Details page. Then add the parent(s) and contacts in Client Profile > Contacts, add their phone numbers as well, and allow the parents to receive reminders for their child. Logical, clear and intuitive for students to use. Easy to navigate when booking appointments. Great templates to enable electronic patient records.

I do not actively dislike anything! It would be nice to be able to link to a bank of exercises so that patients can be emailed a reminder of their treatment plan.

**What problems is Zanda (formerly Power Diary) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Students being able to complete electronic documentation in real-time and the ability to check this as a supervisor. It allows a clear and collaborative clinical reasoning process to happen before notes are signed off. Notes can be saved as draft before this clinical reasoning process and then saved in full afterwards, in conjunction with professional standards.

I especially wanted a platform that was mobile friendly, including the calendar.

I also particularly like the integrated Telehealth function.

However my favourite has been the responsiveness of customer service. They helped me set up, and have been really responsive to all my questions as I move through using and learning about the system.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

I have had some trouble with timezones, and with gmail syncing. 

Any issues I've had have been so well responded to by the help function. I always receive a personalised email,
and sometimes several if I have questions arising, that have this far been good in resolving the issues.

**What problems is Zanda (formerly Power Diary) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Power diary has helped me centralise snd mobilise in ways I couldn't before. I now have a well protected place to store and access sensitive data safely from wherever I am and for whomever I'm with. 

The client portal has equally saved my clients time, allowing them to book in as and when it suits them.

It is intuitive and the visual layout. I would highly recommend this diary management system to organisations of up to 100 people or just a private practice. The team at Power Diary have also been responsive when we've needed additional requirements and met them where they could.

**What do you dislike about Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?**

I am sorry to say that the client support is not as personal as it was even a year ago. I appreciate things have grown rapidly and since COVID-19, the number of clients they now have is likely to have grown swiftly due to use of teleheath services etc. However, I used to be able to call Power Diary directly with a query and those who answered were familiar and so awesome. Now, we dont have that same sense of being personally valued.

I was involved in setting up Power Diary for a non-for-profit organisation of up to 50 users and it was so easy to convert staff across to this intuitive platform theclient support was so personal that it made sense for me to become a user of Power Diary in my private practice as well.

Power Diary has always responded to requests for additional needs the organisation might have. I think we grew swiftly alongside Power Diary which was really helpful for.
