**What do you like best about medent?**

Medent is straightforward and user-friendly. I was able to learn how to use it in just a couple of weeks.

**What do you dislike about medent?**

There isn't anything I dislike about Medent. I would definitely recommend it to others.

**What problems is medent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One advantage of using Medent is the ability to open multiple tabs simultaneously, which makes it much easier to access information for several patients at once.

**What do you like best about medent?**

Medent is extremely easy to use and customize to each user within the organization.

**What do you dislike about medent?**

The patient portal could be a little better, but overall, there is not much that I do not like about Medent.

**What problems is medent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Medent has a great suite of reports that are easily accessed. The EHR is very easy to use and is very intuitive. We use it for scheduling, billing, posting payments, maintaining patient records - basically everything that a medical office needs, except for accounting/banking (we use Quickbooks). It integrates easily with Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

**What do you like best about medent?**

I work primarily in medent and I find the system to be very user friendly compaired to other systems I've previously used. It is customizable and intuative for each department and user preference. Medent is continually updating,improving, and building areas within it's system. Practice suggestions for improvements are taken seriously and implimented with the consideration of regulations and requirements from multiple states. We've had some amazing colaberation between our IT security and Medent to resolve issues when transitioning from a server connection to a cloud connection, firewalls blocking nessessary programs, and many other hiccups that arise.

**What do you dislike about medent?**

It would be nice to have a practice ticketing system and a known problems and issues page when troubleshooting for a large orginization. Interface builds take some time to build and integrate.

**What problems is medent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The state of VT has laws limiting what medical information shared with parents of children from age 12-18. Medent is working on options for parents to still have communication with the practice while limiting medical information shared.

**What do you like best about medent?**

It is user friendly and has an easy to access user manual and the customer service is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about medent?**

There is a lot of clicking to return to the main menu.  It would be helpful to have a menu at the top that you can access the main menu quickly and perhap even email, triages, etc.

**What problems is medent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Medent has created reports for me to run to obtain data that my supervisors are looking for.  Medent is working on an Integrated Health System.  When this is completed it will allow our Medent System to integrate with another department so we can view and adjust scheduling back and forth.  It will help with our surgery scheduling and allow the surgery center and our office to have access to the patient information, appointments. This will cut down and papers being transferred and better time management instead of waiting for the paperework to be physically transferred.

**What do you like best about medent?**

Their reporting features are excellent! Their reporting features are very user friendly and you can literally filter by anything you can think of! The system is very user friendly for out patient practice. Staff pick it up very quickly!
We also just switch from a physical Medent Server to their Cloud serive. Their technicains and project team were very responsive both before, during and after the implementation!

**What do you dislike about medent?**

When you call support, even if you are returning a call from someone you can never get past the operator. Tech support doesnt have direct phone numbers or extensions. It can be frustrating when returning a call and then being told that the person that just tried to reach you would need to call you back.

**What problems is medent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The option to move to the cloud has been fantastic!

Our employees are often working with several clients throughout the day, so they may be on another call or case when you try to return our call; email is always another option for a quick response once your case has begun!

I love the their customer service. The Medent team is always willing to listen and take our improvement requests to their teams. I think the system as a whole is very easy to use and extremly customizable for the User.

**What do you dislike about medent?**

Medent doesn't have a ticketing system to easily identify open tickets in your organization.

**What problems is medent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving the Portal for the patient experience. This will help us to better support the patient it participating in their care. Currently our VT adolescents do not have access to the Portal. Adolescents can not make changes to their healthcare record, but some information must be protected from their guardians. Medent is working on a message only Portal, which will be helpful.

**What do you like best about medent?**

Our practice has had so much success with Medent.  The ease of use and training new employees, the customer service is great!  Medent is always up to date with all the changes that are constantly made in the Family Practice realm.

**What do you dislike about medent?**

There really isn't a downside to medent that we have found.

**What problems is medent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I recently inquired with Medent about the use of AI for medical transcription.  They are already in the works to have an integrated option by quarter 3 or quarter 4.  This will be not only a cost savings for our practice but a useful help with staffing.  We currently use medical scribes.  There is a lot of turnover since we usually employ pre-med students.  This will eliminate the need for retraining which can be timely and costly.

**What do you like best about medent?**

I am a gastroenterologist in practice in the Finger Lakes since 1990. I began using Medent EMR in the mid-1990's and have been using this system continuously now for more than twenty-five years. I have been on staff at multiple hospitals in the area and have become quite familiar with other EMR systems and still rate Medent the best. It is easy to learn and has a user friendly interface which saves time and energy during a busy day. Old records are at your finger tips and communicating with other physicians takes but a keystroke. Diagnostic coding, superbills, triages, labs, xrays  and emails are well integrated into the architecture of the program. Medent support is superb and the system is regularly updated. Needless to say I am thoroughly satisfied with this product and highly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about medent?**

I have been using Medent for twenty-five plus years and find no real downsides.

I use Medent for my medical records.

User access to the MEDENT manual is extremely helpful for do-it-yourself users who sometimes work around the clock.  While MEDENT support is generally quite responsive, their online manual provides immediate customer support at any hour.

**What do you dislike about medent?**

MEDENT lacks the capability to fax documentation from both Practice Management and EMR in the same transmission.  This frequently causes us extra steps while communicating with insurance companies.

Aside from the obvious aspects of an all-in-one solution for a medical office, we use MEDENT extensively as a database for Quality Assurance.

Practice management system is a little out dated.  Integration w/collection agencies.

The connection to VITL (our state HIE) w/regard to document LOINC codes and the integration of FHIR w/the ACO.
The pulling of documents into the note template, selection on which document to pull by date completed - giving us a wider selection of how old the document has to be before we don't want it pulled into the note.

I have been using Medent for over 20 years.  I had very limited training when I started but I found this EMR very easy to navigate.

I wish I had access to change/manipulate the software to accommodate our practice.

We are just starting to use the pre-check in feature and it is helping move our patients through the practice quicker.

**What do you like best about medent?**

I started with iKnowMedGen2 system and switched to this one. Such an Easier system with quick learning tools and features. One of the best EMR systems next to EPIC's system. I would most definitely recommend this system to users looking for an EMR system that is easy to navigate and quickly learned.

**What do you dislike about medent?**

Sometimes that it will close especially when working with a VPN connection. At times Medent will have a popup stating it may not be formatted with our operating system when trying to log in. We've completed an update and it still happens. Not really sure how to fix it but it doesn't cause connection issues. It's just a tad bit annoying and this just started happening fairly recently.

I feel that it is an easy system to learn how to use.

Remembering to always keep the most updated version of MEDENT is the best thing that you can do.

I do not love the price of this EMR system, but I find it worth the cost.

Look into if you are referring physicians and see if they are in the MEDENT network. Ask other medical practices their personal experience with MEDENT.

No real problems. I had issues with my internet at the office.

MEDENT is incredibly user friendly and easy to navigate. I especially like the customizable templates for office notes and common visits/complaints.

There are too many ways to do the exact same thing. It would be easier and less confusing if there was only one way to get into different parts of the chart.

The benefits are endless, including the amount of organization it gives to the practice.

**What do you like best about medent?**

I like the way you can easily add documents via scan to a patient chart and how every type of services performed can be organized into its own category.  

**What do you dislike about medent?**

I dislike that if you error by adding something unwanted it doesn't go away. There is no way to delete anything from a chart. you can only flag it as an error and it becomes hidden but still accessible. 

**What problems is medent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Medent is nice because you can use it to directly fax digital medical records to another doctors office or insurance company etc directly from the program rather than having to print and fax manually. The to dos section allows you to make a ongoing list of things to do to if what you need to send isnt avaible yet in the chart. The triage section is also helpful for communicating with other people in the office to request things like a doctor to sign an office note so it can be given to the patient.

The platform is easy to navigate and read. It's very straightforward and allows for an efficient and effective software experience as far as EMR goes. I've used it both as a medical professional to document and as a patient to track my own records and love it!

I have honestly not come across an aspect I personally dislike yet.

Medent allows for excellent records keeping on a HIPAA compliant and secure platform, that also allows patient record access.

**What do you like best about medent?**

Medent is an easy to use software. It is easy to electronic file medical records. I found it easy to make folders, change names of documents, and chart patient histories and medical information. I would 100% recommend this software to every medical institution.

**What do you dislike about medent?**

I really don’t have any dislikes about the product. 

**What problems is medent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easy to navigate and find a patients chart right away. The schedule for he day is readily available and easy to navigate.
