Starting a new business is overwhelming, but Pabau has taken a huge burden off my shoulders. It is incredibly easy to use, even with the vast amount of features available. Having everything in one spot gives me such a peace of mind and has made me feel significantly less stressed. 

For a new business, affordability is key, and Pabau delivers great value. What really stands out is the support - the walkthrough has been fantastic, and they truly guide you through everything step by step. I highly recommend it to anyone - starting up or established as I can see myself using this for a long time to come.

**What do you like best about Pabau Practice Management?**

The breadth of what it covers without needing to bolt on third-party tools. We use online bookings, digital consent forms, medical records, photo uploads, aftercare messaging and automated comms — all inside one platform. For a doctor-led aesthetics clinic, the legal and compliance foundations are solid. That was non-negotiable for us.
The support team has been genuinely excellent. Annie led our onboarding and handled everything from setting up services, packages and memberships, to coordinating with our software developers and guiding us through widget integration. She’s methodical and detail-oriented — the kind of person who doesn’t let things fall through the cracks. When our developers couldn’t embed the booking widget, I did it myself — and Annie supported me through every step without making me feel like it was an ask. Emily handled the finance and marketing setup with the same level of competence.

**What do you dislike about Pabau Practice Management?**

The onboarding window was around three weeks — part of that is on us for not being more proactive, but getting certain elements like forms and services live did take longer than expected. Plan ahead if you’re working to a launch date.
The booking system also opens on a separate domain to your main website. We came from Squarespace with Acuity embedded, so everything lived under one URL. It’s a minor UX point, but worth knowing before you switch.

Our previous setup — Squarespace and Acuity — looked the part but wasn’t legally sound for the level of clinical practice we operate at. Pabau gave us a compliant, professional infrastructure that fits both the clinical and commercial side of the business. Six to eight weeks in and it’s made a real difference to how the clinic operates day to day.

I have just completed the onboarding process so haven't got going with it properly yet, but the features I am excited to use are the integration with my payment system, the AI features to speed up and create more detailed patient notes and the features I can use to track patient treatment plans.

I haven’t found it entirely intuitive, and there’s quite a lot to learn before you can really get going with it properly. That said, it’s understandable, since it’s a sophisticated system.

The biggest problem for me was finding a system that could track patient treatment plans so I always know where we are with each one. Another issue was keeping up with the related payments—whether someone is paying as they go or has already paid up front. As I understand it, the system will now track all of this for me.

Plentiful resources, templates, lots of features for running a private clinic. I love the integration with signature rx makes things so much easier for me

Limitations on customisation of forms as well as the time it took to get in touch with Annie. Th initial stages of getting on board took 5 meetings before we actually got to work.also as my clinic is not live, it would have been nice for pabau to offer a trial or even 50% until I am fully set up. Getting to book a meeting can be a nightmare as you have to wait a week or two to speak with pabau to help build your profile/questionnaire etc

Pabau is a very comprehensive practice software that aligns well with cosmetic and medical practices that want to work professionally and grow. The platform combines scheduling, electronic patient records, consent, billing, and automated communication into one system and supports good record-keeping, traceability, and quality assurance.

An important advantage is the helpdesk. Support is easily accessible, actively thinks along, and assists with both technical questions and setting up workflows and onboarding. The support feels involved and solution-oriented. Additionally, there is often room for consultation and accommodations or custom agreements through the account manager or representative, which is pleasant for growth or long-term use.

In summary, Pabau is a powerful and future-proof system with excellent support, provided you set it up consciously and make clear agreements about functionalities and costs.

**What do you dislike about Pabau Practice Management?**

A point of attention remains the cost and credit structure. Some functions that feel basic require credits or fall outside the standard package. Therefore, it is important to carefully review in advance what credits are needed for and how they are used, to avoid unexpected costs.

Employees must often work through a checklist when setting up. This sometimes feels a bit forced, but it does ensure that you get the most out of the system.

What would make the system even stronger is built-in monitoring of expiration dates of medication and products. For medical and cosmetic practices, this would be a valuable addition within the quality and safety domain.

Integrated systems - Leads, Online bookings, Pabau Go mobile app for ipads.Flow throughs for patient pathways. Automated systems. Customer tickets to report issues and how quickly they get resolves, The more I use the system on a daily basis the more i get from the Pabau system, just sending a marketing email on broadcast is very easy. Implementing is easy with xero and other apps, follow this up with ticketed customer support that get actioned quickly 24/7 it is amazing. 

I have also used the community topics folder to recommend what is best to help the system and they have taken some great recommendations.

**What do you dislike about Pabau Practice Management?**

Does Buffer on a monday morning when busy, also implementing the ICD codes is hard, The add ons are becoming to much at the moment, marketing plus, care plus. plus the actually cost of using the system, it becomes expensive. Pabau one did not have this and we never got a like for like system with all the add ons.

Ticketed issues are addressed promptly, which I appreciate. There can be some lag and buffering at times, but the follow-up provided makes the overall experience positive.

What I like best about Pabau is the customer support. The webchat is fast, friendly, and issues are resolved quickly with good follow-up. The system is also excellent for compliance, with a wide range of ready-made forms that help keep everything organised and inspection-ready. Even though my business doesn’t fit neatly into their standard setup, the team have worked with me to find practical workarounds and have been supportive as my services have grown.

From day one the team at Pabau have been pro active, approachable and helpful throughout the onboarding process.
I like that everything is stored in one application and that once you are used to the software it is totally easy to navigate.
I like that is adheres to GDPR when storing data which is necessary.
No question is deemed silly and Eve has arranged regular one to one meetings with me to go through the whole process making it easy to access and navigate.

Pabau Success team is impressive and the business model is really built to help you succeed. I am an experienced IT Professional and 2 things stood out to me when evaluating Pabau 2 and immediately after our purchase. The fact that the dev team built a new platform form to eliminate technical debt and kludgy performance, impressed me at hello. I am mid on-boarding journey and the success team is available. I say that again, I did not purchase a product to only be left learning with minimal support. They check in, they provide work arounds and yes, I have witnessed them submitting bug fixes on my behalf. The power of this software is meeting and succeeding my expectations. Do not join the freeware crowd, your infrastructure can make or break you in time. I want to enjoy running my business, not dealing with poor performing software. Probably the only feedback I have at this moment, is the number of emails I receive with follow ups and post meeting notes. It can be overwhelming when you have 2+ calls a week with the success team and I am starting to become immune to them. I truly value the opportunity to have online sessions with the assigned staff, as they guide you step by step through the process while you work. This support has made it much easier to implement changes and begin using the system immediately. In addition, I have taken advantage of Pabau Academy, which I believe is ahead of its time. I am looking forward to making this transition GO LIVE soon.

Because they are in a different time zone, arranging meetings has been somewhat challenging. However, they do tailor their staff to fit your needs. Another point to note is that you can access Pabau Academy before logging into your Pabau account. I spent many hours watching the academy videos, but found it difficult to follow along since I didn't yet have access to the account. Despite these issues, the meetings were helpful and they were able to clarify many things for me. Having not dealt with an system that uses credits for certain functions, this was never explained to me. Although I was told that it was in all of the emailed content it was not addressed in the initial sales meetings (2). I really have no idea how much it will cost me to run the practice after prescriptions and SMS. At present there is no timeline designating when faxing will be available as it only states COMING soon. There are some US medical centers that are archaic in our region and only accept fax referrals so we will need to find a work around. Also, no timeline on our Labcorp integration so hoping that is available soon as well.

I had so many things that I wanted in my software-scheduling, payment options, loyalty programs...Pabau had it all. Setup was easy. I felt very supported by the team. Zoki, Zoi, and Neil were wonderful.

I don't love the credit system. I wish SMS messaging was included. You do have to be careful not to over use SMS messages.

Customer support is very helpful to understand and use it to its full potential. I have been using Pabau for about 2 years now and still exploring new aspects which are very useful. Highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Pabau Practice Management?**

Boring white overall look of the website. The tab for client opens very small. Hard to see ir choose the service bar doesn’t open well.

Eve has been great throughout. Her support for the Pabau system is very helpful to understand and use it to its full potential. I have been using Pabau for about 2 years now and still exploring new aspects which are very useful. Highly recommend.

I have had the opportunity of a digital meeting with Martin B from Pabau.
This has proved to be incredibly useful in sorting out my systems management and
Hopefully stream lining my work process 
It has even had the effect that j want to do more !!

The fact that this had to be done 
That aside we have a new app that when it is functioning properly it will be amazing

Pabau saves me so much time and hassle! The automation features are the best.

**What do you dislike about Pabau Practice Management?**

Some of the integrations do not work as hoped, which creates more admin.  Not sure if this is strictly a pabau problem or the integration but it was working fine and then the last few months it stopped.  The email designer is very glitchy.

**What problems is Pabau Practice Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing patients to book online 24hours a day and sending out confirmation emails and reminders minimises no shows and saves me time.

Learning Curve: Initially, some features took time to fully understand, but the support team was always there to help.

It helped me to set up the service and helped me with the I can't thank Pabau and their amazing team enough for the incredible support I've received. As someone who isn't very tech-savvy, having access to assistance whenever I need it has been invaluable.

I've been with Pabau for the past year, and I appreciate the regular calls from the success team. They help me utilise all the tools available in Pabau effectively, which has significantly improved my clinic's operations and helped generate more bookings.

Overall, I highly recommend Pabau to anyone looking for a reliable partner in managing their clinic!
