It makes it so easy to reschedule patients and adjust appointment times. It also makes applying for payments so much faster and easier. **What do you dislike about Nextech EHR?** Importing ERA files into Nextech for processing could be smoother. It feels old-fashioned and cumbersome in comparison to the rest of the software. If this feature was more modern and automated, it would make Nextech perfect. **What problems is Nextech EHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** One problem that our office faced was paper receipts for patients when they made payments. The layout is pretty easy to understand. **What do you dislike about Nextech EHR?** Lack of documentation has caused me issues before. Nextech dose not like to provide training or documentation for there software. If you have issues in your deployment your going to need to reach out to there custom service which can be hit or missed. If you are trying to go paperless this may not be a good choice for you.... there ipad app is a bit subpar and is not as intuitive as the desktop version. **Recommendations to others considering Nextech EHR:** I would really recommend checking your requirements before picking nextech. Make sure that it dose what you need it to do. Most other EMR software dose paperless pretty well. Nextech dose not. **What problems is Nextech EHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** There EMR software makes managing patient records quite easy for staff and admin. Dose require some training but I feel the layout makes it easy to do so. ### 30. Even the customization is easy. They have a portal filled of 'how to" videos that make learning the software easy. **What do you dislike about Nextech EHR?** The wait on the tech support can take awhile if you call during peek times. Also, the IPad version isn't as efficient as I had hoped. Also takes up less space than having computers in each exam room. The implementation team spends quite a bit of time teaching how to create templates before going live with the software. **What do you dislike about Nextech EHR?** The iPad app isn't as customizable as the computer program. There are also a lot of clicks required, and not as easy to see the big picture. Support can be difficult to reach. **Recommendations to others considering Nextech EHR:** Nextech does a fantastic job of providing the tools that a medical practice needs. From the implementation staff to online webinars that are always available. There is also a portal where customers can post suggestions for improvements, so they are able to hear our concerns and continue to improve on the product. **What problems is Nextech EHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** The front office staff doesn't have to spend time searching for charts! The EMR notes, scheduling, billing are all in the same place. Reports and analytics are simple to create and review, which of course, benefits the practice as a whole. Great platform for any office role. I like the 3D patient chart set up. Makes it very efficient to document patient cases **What do you dislike about Nextech EHR?** The platform seems to have frequents bugs and will freeze but updates seem to solve the issue. Also, the EMR does not have capability to show to which pharmacy a prescription was escribed to or whic user sent it. **What problems is Nextech EHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has a lot of useful functions and tracking capabilities with patient profile call back and follow up, document saving, and e-scribing. ### 41. A lot of the time information was wrong in the system then in the chart or vis versa. Lacks access to digital charts; unable to see progress notes which put a paper chart in hand.
