There are many AI models available (Gemini), and the feature I like most is that it builds in a professional way. The output looks like an industrial standard, not like simple AI-generated code, and the overall quality feels solid. The UI is also simple. When we open it in Google Cloud, we can just type a prompt and it starts. Most of the time when working with AI, the biggest problem is explaining what we want in the prompt, but in the dashboard input box there’s a button to enhance the prompt with AI, and that feature is really impressive. The preview and file explorer are good too. It’s not only developer-friendly; normal users can also use it because it feels like a normal chat interface. Version control is another strong point. Without it, it’s hard to develop an app of anything. It’s normal to get some errors, but the auto-fix is good. Most of the time it doesn’t make errors, and sometimes it does a few, which is normal and not a big deal. The checkpoint restoration is very helpful as well. One more thing I like is the saving behavior. With a lot of builders, projects are auto-created and auto-saved, but here it’s better because if we want, then we save the project with one click. It’s not forced auto-save. Some people may think that’s not good, but for me, I like it. Overall, there are many things to mention, but the AI intelligence is very smart and matches industrial standards. It’s very good for an enterprise. For an industrial team, UI simplicity or complexity doesn’t matter too much because we are trained for it. The most important thing for me is the quality and accuracy. **What do you dislike about Vertex AI Agent Builder?** There are many good things about it, but it also has some cons. The cost is too high. I agree that it gives industrial, production-ready output, but for my team it becomes expensive very quickly. For example, if we work on it for 4 hours a day and get good industrial output, the cost is approximately 1k to 5k INR per employee. In a team of at least 50 people, which is normal, it becomes too expensive. That said, its understanding power is fantastic. However, by default it works with React and Vite. Even when we are building an app and I clearly mention it in the prompts, I don’t know why, but even if we strictly tell it, the first time it still builds in React or Vite. Also, the file explorer does not allow uploading a folder from the device. I think these things must be fixed.
