Sometimes there are a lot of important information that can easily be forgotten. Spekit helps with the navigation and finding of those information, which is crucial at times when there's no authority to depend on.

The visual element & the integration into Salesforce.

Not much at all. I can't pinpoint anything I don't like.

With our company's security requirements, extension needs to be installed by each user rather than a group install.

Knowledgebase AI recommends resources as user is doing work but is also searchable - user productivity levels maintained, increased data accuracy, reduced customer service staff time to field questions
Analytics - see what resources are being used and who is using them, documentation gaps can be identified based on questions, allows training team to focus time and energy where it is needed most
Change Management - spotlight feature allows an easy way to communicate changes/enhancements to all users

It is easy to use, especially with the new AI features, simplification of organizing processes, and essential information for our customer support reps.

The only downside for my team is that Spekit is more sales-focused, which my reps do not do. Not as many templates for use, but that has also been improving.

**What do you like best about Spekit?**

Spekit provides "flashcard" type, skimmable content right where you need it most. Speks are easy to create and you can include them almost everywhere. The frontend user experience is great. As a back-end user, my favorite part is the implementation support Spekit offers. Their staff meet with you regularly to answer questions, walk through ways to enhance your material and ensure your users have everything they need where they need it.

**What do you dislike about Spekit?**

I do not "dislike" anything. I do look forward to the day when I can copy my formatted content and it seemlessly transfers to a Spek. However, this has improved since I started and I believe they are working on more improvements all the time.

**What problems is Spekit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My organization uses Spekit primarily for quick reference tools, definitions, and next step instructions. It is great that our users do not have to deep dive for quick answers. Theoretically that should be saving us time and makes our team more knowledgable.

**What do you like best about Spekit?**

Rolling out Spekit from a technical perspective was relatively straightforward once we had identified the approach we wished to take.  
Integration with Salesforce works well and is easily done, and once connected also allows simple manual refreshing or importing of further metadata when needed.
Customer Support has been exceptional from both the SDMs we have worked with, and it is clear that the CEO (also cofounder) is very passionate about her product and its purpose.

**What do you dislike about Spekit?**

Analytics are ok, but the filtering possible is not as flexible as we have needed, but there have been improvements made to this based on feedback.
At the time of writing (July 2024) it is also not possible to map the same Spek to multiple locations, which is a source of frustration.

**What problems is Spekit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Different parts of our business are now leveraging Spekit in different ways, however the primary reason for purchasing was to centralise guidance to the sales teams on how to use the sales tools "in their flow of work" and having the knowledge that was previously being warehoused by a few people, was inconsistent and was constantly being replicated.  It is now being used by our Service Delivery teams as their Knowledge Base, and a growing amount of product information as well.

Spekit has transformed our approach to training and knowledge management. The just-in-time training feature is a game-changer, effectively eliminating the need for long, ineffective tool training sessions that typically result in poor information retention. 

This approach ensures that our team members receive the right information exactly when they need it, leading to better understanding and application of tools and processes.

I also appreciate Spekit's ability to spotlight new processes, keeping our team up-to-date with the latest changes in our workflow. The platform's integration with our existing knowledge centers is seamless, creating a unified ecosystem of information.

The biggest challenge we faced was around our content strategy, which required a shift in our organizational thinking. However, our Spekit CSM was instrumental in supporting us through this transition, providing valuable consultation on the best approach to content creation and management.

Spekit addresses several critical challenges in our organization:

- Training Retention: We've significantly improved new tool training retention by using Spekit's embedded content. Instead of relying on traditional training sessions where information is often forgotten, Spekit provides just-in-time guidance directly within the tools our employees use.

- Information Accessibility: Spekit solves the common problem of employees not knowing where to find information. With Spekit, the information is exactly where they need it - right within the tool they're using. This eliminates time wasted searching for answers and reduces frustration.

- Consistent Knowledge Sharing: Spekit ensures that all team members have access to the same, up-to-date information, promoting consistency across the organization.

- Onboarding Efficiency: New employees can get up to speed faster as they have immediate access to relevant information while learning new tools and processes.

- Change Management: When we introduce new processes or update existing ones, Spekit allows us to spotlight these changes directly within the relevant tools, ensuring smooth transitions.

**What do you like best about Spekit?**

The ability to tag any header using keywords, and make adjustments on the fly is really useful.

Grouping Speks into Categories to make browsing by end-users is really helpful, rather than just 1-off speks they might find.

**What do you dislike about Spekit?**

The analytics available are good, but customized reporting could be improved, as well as being able to download this more detailed data.

**What problems is Spekit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spekit is a really helpful way of providing detail and insight into our highly-customised Salesforce environment. We've been able to take our knowledge articles and create Speks using them, that can then be directly accessed from their relevant salesforce page. This is great for onboarding new hires, as well as offering easy-to-find refreshers for anyone wanting clarification on certain fields.

The Spotlight feature is also really good for when we tweak the purpose of an existing field, or add a completely new one, as we can make sure it is brought to everyone's attention. We can also then see who has acknowledged these Spotlights using Spekits Analytics feature.

I love how easy Spekit makes finding info without interrupting my workflow. It integrates perfectly with all my tools, so I can access training and support right where I need it. Plus, the new Spekit AI Assisant is AMAZING. It’s been a huge time-saver!

It would be great to have even more control over how things are organized.

**What do you like best about Spekit?**

Spekit has so much to offer that it is hard to define what I like best! If I had to pick one thing, it would be the ease of accessing processes and procedures in a clear, concise, and digestible way without having to navigate away from my workflow. Since implementing Spekit, our Salesforce data is cleaner because field Speks empower them to know exactly what that field should represent. We have also been able to standardize and drive cleaner and more consistent processes  by having process documentation available right where the team needs it!

**What do you dislike about Spekit?**

Depending on the amount of content that exists, it can be quite time consuming to manage it all, especially if you are a one person team and if your company is going through a lot of rapid growth and constant change of process. Spekit has tools to help manage all of this, however, it can still be a lot of work to maintain everything.

**What problems is Spekit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spekit has helped us solve the issue of having process documentation that is outdated, difficult to find, and hard to follow. The processes that we did have documented were scattered throughout multiple platforms and were often multiple pages long, making it very hard for our team members to digest what they were reading, interact with the knowledge, and apply it in their day-to-day. Spekit has absolutely turned this around by providing a one-stop shop (or really a shop that lives in your back pocket and follows you everywhere) for all of our documentation. They have provided an extremely easy way to create content alongside data-driven guidance on the best way to present your content in a way that is digestible and impactful. Not only this, but it has allowed us to release new or updated processes to the team in an easy way that allows us to track whether our team is actually reviewing the content. All in all, Spekit has provided us with the foundation to take our services to the next level by empowering our whole team with the information they need to be successful in their roles in a way that aligns with our goals, expectations, and standards.

- The integrations that allow Spekit to be present throughout a workflow without having to navigate away from the page you are on.

-Outstanding support from our Spekit representative! Happy to brainstorm and hash out ideas for more effective use.

- The ability to update users when infromation within Spekit is updated. This allows for your teams to always be using the most up to date versions.

**What do you dislike about Spekit?**

- I would love to have the ability to create folders within Topics to house Speks. This would greatly help with information organization, especially when you have an entire org using Spekit.

- Difficulty in uploading technical information means that when training certain teams they are still needing to be linked out to other learning systems such as Confluence.

- From the search functionality it would be great to be able to open Speks in new tabs - so there's no need to navigate back and forth within a single window.

**What problems is Spekit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Really looking forward to seeing how Spekit's AI integrations will help boost the efficiency and speed of finding the information you need. Definitely boosting the just in time learning ability!

I'd also like to add how helpful the Spekit team has been in giving us feedback on best use cases and helping with a strategy to "clean up" our information database. They've always been available and happy to chat, making it a very administrator friendly experience!

We’ve integrated Spekit as an additional training reinforcement layer on top of our Salesforce instances, and the results have been phenomenal. The ease of targeting Speks and Knowledge checks by browser URL has significantly streamlined our training processes. This precise targeting ensures that our team receives relevant information exactly when and where they need it, greatly enhancing productivity and learning retention.

Moreover, the service and insights we receive during our account calls are outstanding.

Spek-It makes it super easy to house all onboarding material, and great for housing tutorials on processes. Instead of painstakinly walking through steps of a process if you create a Spek you can incorporate video, hyperlinks, and even emojis to make it fun. Then attach the link and let the Spek speak for itself! Saves my team a ton of time!

**What do you dislike about Spekit?**

The only downside is really just educating the user on how to access and utilize Spek- It, but the Spek-It team is very helpful in trying to activate users and getting them on board.

I use Spekit a couple of times a week if not every day. It's an easy way to document and look up processes. This is especially helpful with new employees.

**What do you dislike about Spekit?**

Although its fairly easy to look up what Spek/info you need, I don't think there's a way to bookmark/favorite most referenced Speks on individual accounts.

**What problems is Spekit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spekit serves as a first stop when I have a question about a process. I can often find the information myself in Spekit instead of asking someone, and if the information is not there- its a good sign that we need to document that information for the next person. It helps that Speks have an "expert" assigned to the topic/spek, so I know who I could ask for more information.

**What do you like best about Spekit?**

Spekit has great UI - makes it simple to use and visually appealing for end users. It's easy to build content, check how effective and used the Speks are by checking analytics and seeing how fresh content is e.g. when it was created, last edited, etc. Organizing content into topics is easy and best of all, our managers have expressed that Spekit is saving them time. Working with Josh Rubin has been so helpful in getting our team competent in how to best implement Spekit.

Machine learning is still learning so we hope keywords will continue to improve to aid in employees finding the Speks they are searching for.

Minimizing version control issues, making the end user more self-sufficient to have the confidence to find training and other related content that is going to help them in their role.

**What do you like best about Spekit?**

Spekit has been a game-changer for our sales enablement team and our sales reps. We introduced the tool about a year ago and it has delivered great benefits. Spekit is helping us to equip our reps with the information they need exactly when they need it, eliminating the need to switch between platforms, and when time is of the essence this capability is a plus. One of the biggest features for us is the integration with Salesforce - Reps can access interactive Spekit guides directly within their Salesforce instance to quickly get the information they need. If they can't find the information, they can suggest a Spek or ask an expert right there at their fingertips. What I like best about Spekit is their team! Their customer support is outstanding and the entire team deserves special recognition. The tool is great overall. One thing I'd suggest to the Product Team is the enhancement of the search in the Chrome extension, which could be a bit more robust. I know they are constantly listening to our feedback, and actively working on improvements, which makes me confident about the future potential of the tool.

Spekit is a great companion for Sales Enablement, making our content and resources more accessible to our sales reps. We rely heavily on SharePoint for content management and Spekit provides a window of opportunities in this area. The capability to get content easily at their fingertips without switching screens is what makes Spekit a great asset for our teams. We are leveraging Spekit for onboarding to accelerate new hire ramp-up,  adoption of new processes like MEDDPPICC, and to share valuable information, like our monthly newsletter among other resources.

Spekit makes it easy to organize your content based on who needs to see it, and makes it easy to find when necessary. The integration into the web tools we use is nearly seamless and so much easier than using a drive to hold all of your training materials.

While the Slack integration is useful for posting questions, I do wish you could use the Spekit Search function within a slack thread. This would save a lot of time when answering individual questions, that come through Slack, without worrying about questions and answers being seperated by other content coming in.

We have recently moved our Salesforce onboarding process to Spekit. This makes it easy to track who is finishing the course, and makes it simple for new hires to see what they're doing without hopping back and forth between screens. We've noticed an increase in GOOD questions coming in from new hires, and a decrease in questions that have already been covered in on boarding.

Spekit is an incredibly helpful enablement tool. We use Spekit as our one stop shop/library for reference materials, meeting resources, and program literature. We also integrated it in our Salesforce instance to provide our selling team with interactive resources, where they're at. The fact that we can have those guides available where our team actually spends the bulk of their time is super helpful. The team at Spekit is always available and truly cares about our initiatives. They want to see us succeed, and suceed using their tool. They really feel like partners, not just another vendor. That is rare and very appreciated.

The only downside of Spekit is the search functionality. It can be hard to find what you're looking for sometimes even with specific terms applied. I know this is being worked on so I'm excited to see improvements.

Spekit takes us out of Google Drive black hole. The organization and one stop shop for documentation alone is highly beneficial, then you add the integration factor and it's a no-brainer for us.

Before we implemented Spekit, roughly 40% of my support cases were user support questions. Within a month of launching Spekit, that number dropped down to 5% and has remained low. 
I love that Spekit is available inside of Salesforce and Slack, providing easy access for our sales users to find quick answers to their questions. The real secret to success with Spekit though is the content that you put into your Speks. We worked with our wonderful Customer Success Manager, Okello, to make our Speks as impactful and informative as possible.

Spekit makes creating short documentation - as well as updating said documentation - super easy. The Enablement field has moved away from creating large, soon-to-be out-of-date documents and pivoted toward content that is quicker, more versatile, and evergreen. Spekit is one of the best tools out there for making enablement managers' lives easier.

The reality is, though, that Spekit has to compete with the likes of Confluence, Sharepoint, and other content management tools that are difficult to pivot from - especially for more technical teams. I look forward to watching Spekit continue to differentiate itself from the competition.

It's been very easy to access Josh and the team at Spekit, which has really helped with the implementation and adoption of the tool across our organization. We've seen a big uptick in access of speks, associates are accessing our "hottest" speks multiple times/day as of lately and it fits into our Salesforce platform seamlessly.

The only issue we had was on the production side of our business for Sales/recruiting, several speks were made by people within our company that didn't have the content our associates needed. This was no fault of the team at spekit, and they have helped us "clean it up" and been available for several touch points when needed to discuss strategy on making it more user friendly for our associates.

The Spekit extension allows us to convert our organizational conversations from "help me solve" to "how we grow".  It converts the time spent on digital adoption to organizational growth toward our vision by giving the task time back to the building of team relationship.  With so many ways in Spekit to interact, learn, analyze, teaching, and solution finding is made efficient and robust.

The entire Spekit team was phenomenal! they were right there when called on and were very much adopted as a team member.

The only dislikes would be the lack of video types supported in embedding.  This actually turned out less important as we went through our build as we found contextual learning much faster and adopted more efficiently.  

The inability to change theme branding is another item on the wish list.

Not a huge deal, but there is a small learning curve for me personally on placing Speks on Salesforce fields. Once you master how, it can be a little faster.

We implemented Spekit as part of a larger project to re-vamp our sales process and stage gates in Salesforce. Some of the other reasons we chose Spekit and some indirect benefits include helping our reps find content faster and get answers/ marketing materials for the correct products. 

We also love the analytics. In previous systems, I did not really know what our sales reps were searching for on a daily basis. Now I can see that reporting and create Speks based on need/ data.

One of the most helpful use-cases I've found with Spekit is the ability to create and customize training content that appears right where it's needed, making the learning process more intuitive and less distruptive. The only limiting factor to experience the true benefits of Spekit is the Google Chrome extension. If users do not install the extension, it can severely hinder adoption.

**What do you like best about Spekit?**

Spekit is very intuitive and has greatly helped us help our end users with application help and guidance, when and where they need it. As an admin, I love how easy it is to update and create material; I'm not reliant on a software developer to update application help guidance. Their Customer Support is PHENOMENAL, as is our Customer Support Manager and others I've worked with at Spekit. When I create a Support ticket, I hear back very quickly and they are very knowledgeable and helpful. Spekit has been so helpful at our company with wrangling in documention, having it in one place, and as I mentioned, having it available when and where users need it. We now use it with several web applications. It continues to improve on being a robust product!

**What do you dislike about Spekit?**

There are a few features we are anxiously waiting for, such as approval workflow on speks and suggested content when searching, but I know these are coming soon. We also do have some limitations in the main application we use it with, and unfortunately it is due to that application's use of HTML elements on their pages.

**What problems is Spekit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having help guidance when and where users need it is the main problem it solves! I'm also able to blast out important messages to targeted users when needed. I can use Analytics to see how the product is being used, who is using it, what users are searching on, etc. Spekit has helped wrangle in documentation that used to be in different formats, stored in various places, and often with various versions floating around. Now everything is in one place and is always kept up to date.

Spekit is such a wonderful product, but it's also backed by a caring and dedicated team. From the customer-facing staff to the product engineers, you get to see Spekit's dedication to its customers everywhere you look. 

At our org, Spekit has helped us roll out a massive internal process change that impacted the entire company, with ease. Not two minutes ago, one of our Salesforce admins was able to reference information in Spekit to help troubleshoot an AE's issue and get them back to their contract-creating within minutes.

**What do you dislike about Spekit?**

There are a couple of superficial things that bug us about the UI (weird table views in the Chrome Extension and , but I'll also state that I anticipate these things getting solved in the near future, just based on suggestions I've already given and updates that have already been implemented. 

That being said, Spekit is a model product with a bright future and has quickly become a vital tool in our enablement toolbox.

**What problems is Spekit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Notion as our main documentation tool, but our reps have struggled to adopt it as a just-in-time learning platform, because they (1) have to leave what they're doing to go search in Notion (vs. Spekit's Chrome Extension that doesn't force you to leave what you're doing), (2) have a ton of trouble knowing what's out there and searching for things in Notion (vs. Spekit's amazing search functionality and easy bite-sized way of delivering information), and (3) feeling unsure of what's been updated recently and what hasn't. 

While we've been able to adust our Notion framework to combat some of these, Spekit has provided us with a quick and easy way for reps to access information in a simple way that doesn't take them away from what they're already focused on. We use Seismic Learning as our lesson-based platform, Notion for our internal documentation, and Spekit for our way of easily delivering information to reps in a single location. We link out to lessons, Notion SOPs, or other content from our Spekit instance, and this helps the reps connect the dots on what resources we have for them, without needing to look in a variety of places.

And recently we've begun adding our collateral to Spekit so that our Sales and CX reps can access collateral directly from Spekit (instead of guiding them to the Google Drive-housed collateral through wordy Notion documents), and send it to prospects and customers, while tracking their engagement.

I love that Spekit has so many different use cases- from spotlights, to Speks to search, to speks that overlay on different web interfaces!   It is also super simple to create speks and spotlights so there are no barriers for usage from my team.

The sidebar can be a little buggy- not popping up a lot of the time for the team which can be a little frustrating.

Take advantage of the implementation period and make sure that you fully get the system setup prior to launch!
