While Outlook excels in basic functionality, this holds the platform back from advancing with features found on other platforms, like Gmail. It took them years to implement a check to prevent sending an email when you mention the word "attachment" without actually attaching anything. The best thing about Outlook for me is being able to send automated HTML emails to clients every day, which I find really interesting. One thing I dislike about Microsoft Outlook is that it’s not as easy to sign up for other tools compared to Gmail, which offers a “Sign in with Google” option on most platforms. The thing i like most about Microsoft Outlook is the fact that it integrates email, calendar and task management. The feature i hate about Microsoft Outlook is that at times the interface appears crowded with numerous panes and features appearing simultaneously. Search is sometimes inconsistent and with large mailboxes, there can be reduced performance. It is strong, however it might require time to adapt it to my workflow. I've been a longtime user of Microsoft Outlook, but I do like the way that it simplifies the way that we can share calendars across an organization.
