I love the one-stop platform for mentoring which Mentorloop provides! It enables you to easily match with great mentees (I have had 2 spot-on matches in 2 years of using it), then fully track all stages of your contact and relationship, integrate your calendar to set up meetings, and chat easily in your "loop". It also provides great resources to support mentors and mentees, and build your milestones together, including setting and tracking Goals, which is a wonderful feature. My business calendar (Outlook) does not like synching with Mentorloop - my old GSuite calendar was much easier to use with the platform. So some functions have to be "looped" into calendar invitations, but this is easy to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I couldn't really link Mentorloop Mentoring Software to my company's web Teams because there are blocks on linkage with external platforms. This inability to set up calls from the software to my work Outlook and send change invites meant I had to take a lot of manual steps to organize things. Mentorloop makes it really easy to connect with people who have similar interests across the business. I like that it's a voluntary scheme so you know people who are on the platform are genuinely wanting to help people. It's useful to look through people's profiles to make sure you find someone you have common interests with and that can help you in the areas you need help in. I would advise developers to create readily available expertise/skills options for mentors to select rather than having to manually type what they do and can offer as mentors. I used it to find a mentor to help find out more about the application process for medicine, and after meeting with my mentor the software itself was so useful throughout the process. It is very user friendly and easy to navigate. The way in which you find mentors is very straight forward and simple which makes it great for reaching out to a range of people in related industries to build mentoring relationships. I like that there is the inbuilt messaging facility which pops up upon matching with a potential mentor and is very easy to use and includes details of your match. It is easy for potential mentors to be swamped with messages and not receive updates from others. There could be improvements to ensure that mentors are reminded about messages and to be able to easily mark that they are not available for mentoring.
