There's so many different areas to focus on, but for me, I wanted to dive deep into people management. **What do you dislike about Growthspace?** I would have liked for there to be more coaches in different time zones. I am located on the West Coast in the US, and the only coaches available when I signed up were located in Tel Aviv. Fortunately, by coach was open to meeting later in her day to accommodate our time zones. **What problems is Growthspace solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a fairly new manager, I found Growthspace incredibly helpful by having someone with lots of management experience walk me through how to be successful with my new hires. My coach didn't tell me what to do, but rather asked probing questions to help me come up with my own solutions based on my own management style. The process was straightforward, I filled out some info about myself and what I needed, I was then given three coaches to choose from. Having the options allowed me pick the right coach with the right background and skill set for what I need most. My coach was absolutely amazing! We imediately began chatting and was at ease the whole time. It was nice to know that if things didn't work out, I could easily switch to another coach, although I never wanted to. My coach was able to help me focus on the things I needed to work on and separate the real areas for improvement from the general insecurities of being a new manager. **What do you dislike about Growthspace?** The only downside was I wanted more time. **What problems is Growthspace solving and how is that benefiting you?** Growthspace provided an easy to use platform to link me with a mentor that could help me become a more effective manager. I moved from being a player, to a player coach which carried with it the potential for issues between myself and colleagues that are now reporting to me. She could provide her agenda but also pivoted and changed content based on events or feedback. As an SVP in the company, there are certain areas I'm already versed in, while other areas need work and attention to excel and continue to perform as best I can. Deborah was able to provide me with safety, allowing me to open up and, much like a good doctor or psychologist, do her best work unobstructed. **What do you dislike about Growthspace?** I would have appreciated more technology in the sessions, collateral, and interface to deliver a final readout I could retain and work with. Don't get me wrong, I got some great Google docs from every session and "work" to continue to develop on them. One of the best aspects is the ability to choose a new coach if the inital one is not a good fit. I did not have to make use of this, however, it was nice to know the option was there. I did have to reach out to Growthspace's support who were very attentive, professional and courteous. I would recommend Growthspace to anyone who has the ability to take part in this experience. **What do you dislike about Growthspace?** One thing that could be improved was the integration with Zoom through the Growthspace site. I decided to enter the process without expectations, without prejudices and just flow with it. As an administrator of the program to our membership, I also test-ran it as a participant, and the coach matched to me was perfect for my needs at the time. My coach challenged my preconceived notions about how I lead, and I made great strides from the outcomes of our session. As an administrator, the portal is clear and simple to understand where various participants are at in their coaching journey, so follow-up to keep them on track is easy. **What do you dislike about Growthspace?** In the early days, booking sessions with the coach as a participant was challenging directly through the third-party software that GrowthSpace was working with. This made it easier for many participants to book their first session with it, and then book subsequent sessions with the coach directly.
