**What do you like best about Koala?**

Koala makes it incredibly easy to structure and manage outbound sequences. The UI is intuitive, and it’s built specifically for all sales and marketing insights collaboration. I love how quickly I can see what’s working, iterate on messaging, and automate low-value tasks so I can focus on real conversations. The Salesforce integration is seamless too, no need to jump between tools to get the full picture.

**What do you dislike about Koala?**

Sometimes, the reporting could be more customizable. I'd love to break things down more granularly by persona or campaign type without needing a workaround. It’s not a blocker, but would definitely make analysis smoother.

**What problems is Koala solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Koala helps our team reduce the time we spend on repetitive outreach tasks and gives better visibility into what’s actually driving meetings. It aligns our SDR and AE efforts, so we're not duplicating work. I’ve saved hours each week and feel more confident about the prospects I’m reaching out to. Meeting volume has gone up because of the insights Koala surfaces.

Super well designed; great UI/UX and very stable (a lot of the other products I've used are very buggy and glitchy).

Very easy to implement and the insights we've got from Koala have been pivotal in helping us refine our PMF.

Not much - we definitely aren't using it to its full potential, but even using a subset of its features has been very positive

We're an earlier stage company trying to figure out the best audience for our product and what kind of companies visit. Using Koala has been essential to help figure that out; plus we're excited to explore the other functionality once we get more traction.

**What do you like best about Koala?**

Tido, Netto, Sam & the Koala Team are building something amazing. As a heavy PLG company, knowing who is on our site/signing up for our product has had such a massive impact on our net-new business pipeline gen, and also net-new ARR. The intent signals that Koala is surfacing allow us to target buyers that are early in their buying journey - proactively reaching out ensures that we begin converstations with them before our competitors do. As a result, we have seen a significant impact on Opp to Closed Won conversions from this source. 

What's been more impressive is how much Tido, Netto & Sam care about their customers. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that Vercel has been successful in using Koala, from Salesforce integrations, data analysis, new product features/rollouts, proactively asking for feedback. Our success with Koala couldnt' have happened without this team's support!

**What do you dislike about Koala?**

Slack notifications are only a "moment in time" - building Koala SFDC dashboards for all customers would be a huge value add.

The ability to know who is on our website or signing up for our product - the team now knows who they should proactively reach out to and what that visitor cares about based on that visitor's intent

**What do you like best about Koala?**

Koala has been a game-changer for our sales team. Some of the key benefits we've seen:

Easy setup - we were able to get up and running quickly by connecting Koala to our marketing site (pixel/script), product (via Rudderstack SDK for real-time events and server-side API for BigQuery data), Salesforce (CRM) and Outreach for email campaigns.

Real-time data access - Koala gives our sales reps easy access to customer data that was previously siloed in different systems. Having this 360 degree view has enabled much more relevant and timely outreach.

Powerful account scoring – accounts are scored based on ICP fit (looking at your previously won accounts) and Intent (combining intent signals from markerting site, product and G2) – it just works!

Advanced features - beyond the core product, Koala includes powerful features like automated outbound emails that have driven great open rates and meeting bookings for us. The content report feature has also uncovered key behavioral signals that correlate with opportunity creation.

Flexible data model - Koala supports flexible product data modeling (e.g. a single account can hold multiple unique projects) and complex rules for defining PQA triggers based on product data. We're well on our way to implement our ideal account scoring and assignment flows.

Responsive team - the Koala team is always there to help and is very open to our product suggestions and feature requests. It feels like a true partnership.

**What do you dislike about Koala?**

There's honestly not much to dislike about Koala, but a couple areas for improvement:
- More opionionated "home screen" for sales reps with prioritized list of accounts and signals to action on (I know this is coming soon though)
- ICP fit scoring based on custom account traits, e.g. self-reported company size (currently it relies solely on Clearbit data)

**What problems is Koala solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Koala is solving several key problems for us:

Data silos - By integrating all our customer data from marketing, product usage, CRM and sales outreach, Koala provides a unified 360 view of each account. This enables our sales team to have much more context for their outreach.

Lack of real-time insights - Koala makes customer data available to sales in real-time, as soon as key events happen. No more waiting for data syncs or manual reports. Sales can act on the freshest signals.

Manual lead prioritization - With Koala's flexible account model, we can define complex account scoring rules to bubble up the highest value accounts for sales to engage. Reps no longer have to manually sift through leads and accounts.

Disconnected outreach - Koala's email automation features allow sales to trigger personalized outbound campaigns based on specific customer behaviors. Open rates and responses have improved significantly.

Visibility into what's working - The content analytics in Koala help identify which marketing assets, product features, and sales tactics are most correlated with positive outcomes. We can optimize our playbooks based on data.

Overall, Koala has empowered our sales team to work smarter and more efficiently. They can now focus their time on the right accounts, equipped with the right context, to have more productive conversations. We've seen significant improvements in key metrics like response rates, opportunity creation, and win rates.

First, the team is truly phenomenal. Using Koala means you have access to some of the smartest people I know. Second, the data! Understanding what our users are doing across our site makes sales and marketing efforts so much better. We're currently using Koala to prospect (of course) but also to do automated outbound, personalized site expriences, and further down funnel conversion.

Everything has been really great. The team is still small so understanding that you're getting flexibility and potentially early features.

Our company mainly uses Koala for visitor identification to help our SDRs and AEs close deals. However our website PM uses this data to personalize our site experience and our Demand Gen team uses this data for auto outbound email sequences.

**What do you like best about Koala?**

Koala provides a lot of useful data about buyer intent. We use this intent in our MQL infrastructure and have seen tangible pipeline and bookings as a result of acting on intent signals. Apart from that, Koala provides our AEs insight into deals -- are the prospects looking at our website, engaging with our product, etc..

The team is also amazing. The founders are very receptive to feedback and are continuously improving and developing the product. They want it to be as useful as possible and so operate with a high level of integrity. They are also just really nice people to work with.

**What do you dislike about Koala?**

Koala is still a new tool and so not everything is perfect. One of the biggest pain points is not having as much clarity on the visitors, and it would be really nice to have the Koala data sync to Salesforce on existing accounts and contacts.

Koala helps us prioritize which accounts and visitors to go after, and it provides rich data on key buyer signals.

**What do you like best about Koala?**

Koala has been an awesome tool for my company's Marketing department and Sales reps thus far.

The Sales reps have really appreciated the notifications Koala sends them when someone from one of their Accounts high levels of intent, as well as understanding the overall "trend" of their Accounts' recent engagement.

The Marketing team has found a lot of value in using Koala's content reports, which gives them an idea of what content tends to help drive our prospects down the marketing funnel.

Personally, I work in Marketing Operations and have gotten a *ton* of value out of Koala. It's been great to see Koala continually expand their offerings since we have been their customer, including the valuable integrations they've built into the product. We've been running experiments with their Automated Outbound functionality for a few months and have seen a lot of really promising results thus far.

The Koala team is super responsive with their support, and will gladly work with me on any bugs or configuration issues I run into in a timely manner.

I tend to find myself spending more and more time in Koala's platform with every passing week. Overall, the product is easy to use and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested.

**What do you dislike about Koala?**

There's nothing I truly dislike about Koala. My only minor gripe is that sometimes I get lost in the navigation (the more marketing-focused items are in Settings, for example). This could be more of a personal problem, and as I use the product more I'm starting to remember where things are ;)

Koala is helping us determine which accounts are showing a high propensity to buy, informing us what content tends to correlate with successful sales conversion, and helping us automate some of our outbound selling efforts.

Our SDR & marketing teams use Koala to get insights about people from target accounts that are visiting our site. This is really useful on its own, but we also love all the reporting and workflows built on top of this data  (e.g., automated outbound messages, custom notifications, reporting on source/UTM....).

Some of the reports we love are a bit hidden in the UI, so you have to dig around to realize what all is available. Not a huge deal but I've definitely stumbled across some really useful reports.

The team is delivering faster than any other team in SaaS
Set of features and capabilities is beyond expectations

We are a lot more succsseful than before approaching the right customers in the right momenet with the most appropriate information to help them become successful in adopting our product.

Our Sales team uses Koala daily, getting up and running has been so easy and smooth (our Engineering team was incredibly impressed, which is hard to achieve on its own, and they are not daily users even! )

I wish I knew Koala earlier. We are only scratching the surface of what we can achieve with it, and I wish we had more bandwith to unlock more!

In 2024, outbout is getting harder and harder, buyers experiencing cold-outreach fatigure.
Koala help us steer our limited energy in the best directions, resulting in much higher ROI on where we spend our time.
Additionally, it help exposing areas where we can do better in our messaging, funnel and more.

**What do you like best about Koala?**

I’m always on the lookout for tools that can streamline operations and boost productivity. When I first heard about Koala, it sounded too good to be true. After several weeks of evaluation, we decided to implement Koala and give our SDR and Sales team access, but we didn’t mandate it. We also didn’t host any team-wide training, we simply sent out an email with a sign-up link. A few reps logged in and before we knew it, it had spread like wildfire. 

Koala lets reps immediately reach out to hot prospects who are checking out your website with personalized (OR automated) outreach. We can see exactly what our prospects are interested in, then tailor our messaging accordingly. 

Their latest feature is an SDR’s dream. We can now automate outreach for leads that don’t meet our ’threshold’ and ensure they’re auto-added to a value-based nurture sequence. It removes hours of admin work for my reps, and we book meetings we otherwise wouldn’t. 

Suffice it to say, Koala has been an absolute game-changer for our Sales and SDR teams. From the moment we implemented it, we experienced a noticeable shift in how many meetings and opportunities we were able to generate. Our reps love using the tool (it has one of the best UX designs I’ve seen on the market) and the seamless integration between Outreach saves us a minimum of 5+ minutes per lead that we’re reaching out to.

The most impressive part of Koala is how quickly and easily we were able to get it up and running. It’s intuitive to use, the slack notifications were extremely easy to set up, and it’s now a part of our core sales tech stack.

The founding team is constantly asking for our feedback and product recs, making changes, and building even cooler tools. I have no doubt that Koala will be a commonplace staple tool, akin to the likes of LeanData and Outreach, for Sales and SDR teams within the next two years. We’ve seen a minimum 20X investment in the past 6 months, and I would highly recommend this to any Sales or SDR team on the planet.

Thus far, we haven't had any issues with Koala or the support their team has provided!

We catch prospects the minute they start browsing around, we re-engage with stale late stage opportunities the second we see someone on our website, and we’re genuinely able to connect with our prospects and customers on their terms, when THEY want to be engaged, instead of sending aggressive emails and follow-up notes that don’t land.

Koalal is a super powerful tool that provides you with really strong intent based data around what your prospects are doing on your webpage and in your product! Before using Koala it didn't realize it was possible to identify this much of the traffic that lands on your homepage. Getting a deeper understanding of the prospects that are landing on our website, what they are doing and how long they are staying has drastically improved our sales and outreach processes.

The tool is quite powerful, thus if you set up a lot of notificaitons, the tool can get a bit noisy - it is in on you to manage this appropriately.

Koala is providing is deeper analytics around who the visitors to our website our.  It also provides us with signals around high intent visitors to our site and other marketing assets.

Easy to use interface with lots of ways to visualize data - by account, by visitors, and reports over time

Integrates easily with Slack, Hubspot, Salesforce, Outreach, etc. so was quick to implement.

Does a great job capturing and helping to deanonymize website visits , with breakdowns of intent, pages visited, UTM sources, etc. Has been super useful for us to ramp 'warmbound' and create pipeline from website intent.

Super reponsive team - not only fast to fix bugs, but continuing to build new features that make it more powerful.

Highly recommend!!

Koala is the most no-brainer tech we have. It's insanely easy to setup and starting getting value out of it. Every SDR and AE on our team is using it. We can finally programmatically turn high-intent signals from our highest potential visitors to outreach and meetings.

Integrating with the rest of our stack (Hubspot, Salesforce, Outreach, Clearbit, etc) was easy and painless.

No major downsides. The team is awesome to work with and super responsive to requests.

No-brainer for any company that has a combination of PLG and enterprise customers. Koala tracks, enriches, and categorizes our visitors to help determine who we target. The auto-outbound and CRM automations help our team do the work of a much larger team, too. Team is extremely pro-active and receptive to feedback.

No downsides so far — we're a happy customer!

Super responsive team and talented team that we can always count on if we have questions. I wish Koala delved more into Clay as a unified solution for intent data and prospecting. The integrations are great, but an all-in-one app would be fantastic.

Accurate data comes first above all else, but beyond that, the attention to detail on user experience (esp. for sales reps) is levels above other tools.

Nothing I dislike right now - the product is already really solid but they're still evolving it at lightning speed.

As we drive more traffic to our website from other initiatives, we need to identify the high intent accounts for our sales team to go after. Koala enables us to easily and accurately detect relevant engagement signals alongside account data so our team can prioritize our outbound on the right accounts, leading to a 3x improvement in outbound performance.

Koala allows you to receive real-time updates on slack about customers interacting with your brand. It's quick and easy to set up and create different groups of users you want to track with the level of granularity you want. I use it daily to find prospects to talk to.

Koala enables me to know exactly where to start right when I open my computer in the morning. It takes the cold out of cold outbound, and the guesswork out of how to prioritize our time most effectively. I'm not able to identify acquisition opportunities, but upsell/retention conversations with existing customers. Short & sweet, I'm on Koala all day.

Just the anonymous traffic, where I get excited about a top prospect showing intent, but I'm unsure who is looking.
