What do you like best about Kleene?

Within 1 week we had a functional set of reports in Kleene - the speed to access data is unmatched. We did run a full data migration project which meant it took a couple of months to get fully migrated and running, but we felt the benefits within the first week.

Kleene is incredibly easy to use, great UX and very intuitive. It gives any data analyst access to be a data engineer, it is very accessible to anyone who can write SQL. In particular the pop-out SQL console, the Pipelines and Pipeline editor give you all the tools you need to quickly debug your code and manage your data pipeline.

With Kleene we have saved over 48 hours of work a week in manual reporting (i.e. 3 people x 2 days per week)

Onboarding was seemless, the customer success team are very knowledgeable and friendly. We also had access to their consultants for a few workshops to ensure that we were setting up our pipeline in the best possible way. I highly recommend this!!

We have developed multiple pipelines in Kleene:

- Full marketing: Paid Ads, GA4, Offline marketing e.g. direct mail, Emails and newsletters

- Customer service reporting: Gorgias

- Sales reporting & returns: Shopify, Recharge, Rebound

- Stock reporting: Excel files via SharePoint

- Finance and accounting reporting: Xero

We will always have more to add and expand on, but all our reporting is now consolidated under one app which we love!!

The pricing is extremely reasonable and fair, we have not had to pay for any extras beyond our initial contract value. The only add on is if we add more data connectors. They are transparent and fair. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kleene?

What do you like best about Kleene?

The pricing model stood out to me early on: straightforward, consistent, and offering strong value given the amount of support bundled in. That support proved reliable throughout my time with Kleene; their analysts and account managers were quick to respond, and any issues we ran into were typically resolved within a day or two.

Before long, we were able to completely rethink our reporting setup. Because everything was housed in one platform, we rebuilt end-to-end reporting suites for our two major revenue areas, which ultimately reshaped how the business worked with data and allowed for genuinely strategic, data-led decision-making.

I spent the better part of two years working in Kleene on a daily basis, and the interface, along with its editor, made routine work easy to manage. Transform logic was easy to follow, updates felt safe to deploy, and the overall workflow was far more manageable than what we’d used previously.

In fact, the migration itself was surprisingly quick. One person handled the full shift from Matillion to Kleene in roughly a month. Kleene even developed custom connectors for us, which meant we didn’t need to rely on expensive outside engineering help, especially since we had no internal data engineer. What do you like best about Kleene?

We are currently working with Kleene on a second data solution, they have listened and understood our issue well, keeping in regular communication and providing updates.

What do you like best about Kleene?

Been using Kleene for the past year now.

The solution was already in place when I joined the company and it's felt really easy to familiarise myself with the product.

The EL feature of the tool feels very robust already: it feels effortless to ingest data from various sources and they already have an extensive suite of connectors available.

Customer service is really attentive to our business needs and also easily approachableand reactive when there are reported bugs. (kudos to Daniella!)

As a result, the product is constantly evolving, bringing in new features and redesigning its UI to make it more user-friendly. Even if I don't get to use everything, it is easy to feel there is hard work happening behind the scenes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kleene?

One thing that should be developped as a matter of priority in my opinion is the relationship between EL (Extract and Load) and T (Transform). They are still siloed while they should be treated as one pipe in my opinion.

Another smaller comment is that some SQL transforms have not been designed optimally and with scalability in mind by Kleene. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kleene?

The interface is very easy to use with lots of very helpful features which make using the tool quick and efficient. We have transformed analysis with the transforms tool and it's simple enough to be managed by a non-engineer. The team is always responsive to any issues and constantly push updates and new features. The cost model is different to other tools as you pay by connector, not by data volume so there is no limit on the complexity and depth of analysis you can pull out using Kleene. - User-Friendly: Extremely easy to use and manage, saving us time and money. Without Kleene, managing our data infrastracture would need 10x more resources.

- Robust Data Integration/Orchestration: allows us to seamlessly ingest data from various sources, with the ability to schedule and manage data cleaning scripts using basic SQL on an aesthetic & intuitive user intefrace.

What do you like best about Kleene?

Their support is timely and professional, and they are super friendly and always willing to help. They are continuously growing the platform and improving its capabilities, and in the 2 years I've been using Kleene their app has significantly improved, with tons of new functionality introduced.
