I don't like how the commissions manager splits the view on AOV commissions and flat commissions. It would be helpful to include AOV CPAs in the timeline view to make sharing upcoming CPAs to publishers much easier and more cohesive. The platform is really user-friendly and intuitive, so it becomes very easy to train other team members on the platform. Whether I'm reviewing performance, approving publishers, checking transactions or pulling reports, everything feels organised and easy to use. Because it's so accessible, I can work more efficiently and spend more time focusing on optimising our programmes and building publisher relationships rather than figuring out how to use the platform. I’ve been using Awin for a while now, and it’s still one of the platforms I check most often. There are plenty of well-known brands, and finding new programs to join is usually straightforward. The interface is easy to navigate, and I like having reporting and performance data all in one place. From what I’ve seen, tracking links and commission reports have been reliable, which makes it simpler to keep on top of results. Over time, strong performance can also lead to more opportunities with brands, and I appreciate that added value beyond just the commissions. From a return perspective, it’s been worthwhile. Getting started was simple, and I haven’t run into any major issues. That said, I think more personalized recommendations based on my niche and past performance would make the experience even better. That said, the dashboard navigation is the one area that I think could be improved, especially when I’m trying to search through programs. The new, "improved" version of Awin is significantly worse even than the "classic" version; many features simply aren't available or are extremely difficult to find and access. It feels like the new version is being pushed because it's new, not because it's better. On the actual platform, the design and UX of Awin leaves a lot to be desired. In particular, Awin's more in-depth reporting capabilities are significantly lacking; the platform makes it very difficult and arcane to really dig into results. Things like referring URLs, click to action times, and even commission rates for individual publishers are all either not available or are strangely difficult to access, making the overall experience of using Awin slow and pretty frustrating. UI / UX Awin offers an overall clear and functional user interface, which is particularly well-structured for performance-oriented users. The navigation is logically structured, but the interface appears somewhat technical and less modern than newer tools in some areas. Particularly positive is the clear presentation of partners, commissions, and performance data, which makes everyday work efficient. Integrations The integration possibilities are a major advantage. Awin integrates well with common e-commerce systems like Shopify as well as tracking and marketing tools. The API connection also allows for flexible automation, which is especially helpful for multi-channel sellers. The integration of tracking codes is relatively straightforward. Performance The performance of the network is strong, especially due to the large number of high-quality publishers and partners. Campaigns can be well-scaled, and the tracking accuracy is reliable. Particularly in affiliate marketing, Awin delivers stable results and allows for good control over conversion data. Pricing / ROI The cost structure is transparent, but not necessarily cheap for beginners. There are setup fees and ongoing commissions. However, the return on investment is generally very solid with well-optimized campaigns. Those who actively optimize and select suitable partners can work profitably in the long term. Support / Onboarding The onboarding is structured but somewhat standardized. New users need to familiarize themselves independently. The support is generally competent, but response times can vary depending on the issue. For experienced users in e-commerce, the system is manageable, but beginners need some patience. AI / Intelligence Awin currently relies less on prominently visible AI features compared to more modern platforms. Managing affiliate and creator partnerships, Awin has become the backbone of how we track and pay out roughly 20 active creators across cruise/travel, Disney, GLP-1/wellness, and motion sickness verticals. UI / UX The dashboard itself is functional rather than flashy, but the parts I use daily work reliably. Setting up deep links is straightforward: I can drop in an unwrapped destination URL and Awin handles the tracking wrapper automatically, which saves me from manually building tracking links for every new creator. Coupon code tracking is a standout feature for us since a lot of our creators promote with a discount code rather than a link. Attribution on codes works independently of click tracking, so we don't lose sales just because someone typed in HEATHER20 instead of clicking through. Integrations We migrated to Awin from ShareASale, and the switch was worth it mainly because of the platform's publisher network. A day or two of delay on a support ticket can mean missed attribution on a post that's already out. The platform itself isn't especially intuitive for the influencers I work with. I regularly get messages from creators asking for help navigating their own dashboard, understanding how to grab their tracking link, or figuring out why a sale isn't showing up yet. For a program built around non-technical creators rather than seasoned affiliate marketers, the onboarding experience could be simplified so I'm not acting as the de facto support line for basic platform navigation.
