I particularly like Awin's view on reporting. It provides a split by performance over time, comparison over time, and product performance, making it easier to draw up reports quickly. These reports are also easier for my clients to interpret, even if they do not have much experience with the platform. I don't like how the commissions manager splits the view on AOV commissions and flat commissions. It would be helpful to include AOV CPAs in the timeline view to make sharing upcoming CPAs to publishers much easier and more cohesive, with a total view of upcoming CPAs rather than them being split by AOV CPA changes and flat CPA changes. I really like working with Awin as a platform. It’s very easy to connect with publishers and partners, and you quickly feel how much traction and reach the network has.

What I especially appreciate is our key account manager, she has been outstanding: she’s extremely willing to help, genuinely cares about our performance, and is always proactive when it comes to optimizations or questions.

There’s honestly nothing major that we dislike. If anything, the platform can feel a bit overwhelming at first because of how many features and options are available — but that’s really a byproduct of how large and powerful the network is. Once you’re familiar with it, this actually becomes a big advantage rather than a downside.

I really like the layout and visuals of the Awin interface. It's easy to use and simple, which makes it a very familiar platform for me since it has remained consistent over the years. I don't like the lack of flexibility when it comes to commission rates. Reporting could also be better. I think having real-time reporting, cross-dimension reporting in one view, and more options to split by new/existing customers or guests would be an improvement. I migrated from ShareASale and I find the platform to be more robust and easy to navigate certain parts of the platform. I like the Partner Discovery tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think there is there are alot of options to choose from and some tools I used on Sharasale are not very clear where they are in Awin or if they are available. I wished that the transaction summaries also offered the sku and name of the prodcut that was purchased without having to go into the details within the publishers platform. I like how Awin gives you the power to choose which publishers you want to work with and reach out to them. The ability to spot other discount sites or promotional code websites in the find publisher section is really handy. I feel Awin could be improved by providing more visibility on the creatives that are live on publishers' sites. It's important to ensure that the ad creatives are on brand, using the right tone of voice, and showing the correct offer. Also, the initial setup was a little messy. The onboarding call wasn't well explained, and we were a bit in the dark initially about the billing process and how everything worked, especially since we were new to affiliate marketing. The platform is useful and easy to use. It was already implemented in the company when I started using it, so I don’t know whether the implementation and integration were easy.

On my side, I use it several times a month.

I like the fact that we can analyze the results easily and that there is complete transparency with the affiliates we work with (we can see the same and also analyze the performance).

I think the date comparison report (for example, comparing one month with another) could be improved. I sometimes tend to mix up the dates I want to view with the ones I want to compare them to. I think clarity in the launch process of a new client could be better. It's unclear where to set up the profile when a client is first launched. In the overview area, that section can be more clear in what is required. Also, during the initial setup, there were some hiccups from the Awin team, and the wording might be confusing. I like how easy it is to connect with publishers using Awin. The platform allows me to apply to publishers on the network, or even those who haven't signed up yet. It provides the ability to communicate with them through newsletters, targeting all or specific publishers. I find it really easy to set codes, which only takes about 2 minutes, and set up exclusive attribution for those codes. I like Awin because it brings our 300 publishers into one marketplace, allowing us to have a single, segregated invoice which really assists us by managing all contracts. It also provides easy UTM tracking, helping affiliates connect easily, with full transparency. I love how I can search for additional networks and automatically insert their UTM links and coupon codes. The platform manages all payments for us, making the process quite amazing and easy other than the timeline of payment. It allows us to track usage across our networks and offers detailed financial reporting, which is very accurate. I recommend Awin for anyone looking to use it for affiliate goals. The timeline for influencer payments is a problem. For instance, if someone receives payment from the first to the 1st-31st, they won't actually get the money until the 16th of the following month. Unless you pay your invoices biweekly which makes it quite easier. Transitioning all of our affiliates and influencers over from Impact was also a bit of a challenge, especially with answering all their questions, and moving 300 accounts and ensuring all data is converted in an orderly fashion.
