"Apple MDM scalable and simple"
What do you like best about Iru?

Kandji has been an amazing partner in moving our MDM from a managed service providor to in house MDM management. They templates and blueprint based configuration not old helped inforce some base line configurations but also helped us easily improve our Security landscape with out of the box CIS level 2 controls for Mac.

The OS and application update has also made it simple to ensure that we are always up to date and safe allowing management of our devices in a fully remote environment is easy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

There is not much to dislike about Kandji. The only thing I would like to see added is improved Windows MDM function as right now it is just a UI for Microsoft InTune. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Kandji is the ideal MDM solution for Apple devices"
What do you like best about Iru?

Kandji makes managing our Apple devices super easy. I love how much is automated — especially the compliance stuff. It saves a ton of time, and the setup for new devices is smooth thanks to zero-touch deployment. The interface is clean and simple, which makes everything faster to get done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

Kandji works great for our Apple devices, but it’s a bummer that it doesn’t support Windows. We have to use another tool just for those, which makes things more complicated than they need to be. It would be ideal if you can support windows devices soon so that all our company devices could be managed by one MDM solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Kanji: A Seamless and Powerful IT Management Solution"
What do you like best about Iru?

I love Kandji's ability to use script deployment and making scripts an executable within a users app library. This has become very effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

Another thing to mention would be improving the search function. Finding where policies that manage auto created admin accounts was almost impossible to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Kandji provides a powerful MDM without legacy bloat"
What do you like best about Iru?

Kandji was straightforward to configure and deploy. Their sales and technical support team were always available during the process and now that we are in production I haven't really needed any further support because the tool is so easy to administer. In comparison to the MDM solution we replaced, Kandji is a considerable improvement in terms of ease to configure and understand how the pieces fit together. It's entirely possible that Kandji has less features than our old tool, but because we didn't really understand how to use those features, it was actually an overall feature gain to make the switch. Plus we got access to their library of updated applications which means we no longer have to manually keep our most common apps up-to-date. To top it all off, Kandji is considerably less expensive. What do you dislike about Iru?

Some of the pre-built security configurations do not conform to the way Apple has updated their operating systems, which means devices can fall out of compliance despite being exactly how Apple designed them to operate. Thankfully Kandji provides a mechanism to mute individual alerts so they stop impacting our compliance reports while the underlying situation is sorted out between Kandji and Apple. "What all MDM should aim to be"
What do you like best about Iru?

I think the blueprints are a great way to handle who gets what in your company. The self-service feature really makes the user feel empowered (even though you still keep track of what they can do)

The design of Kandji also integrates really well with the MacOS style as well, this feels as if it was made by Apple itself

Within a few days, users told us how much better it was than what we previously had with Jumpcloud Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

We've had some trouble with the migration agent to help us move from Jumpcloud to Kandji. It wasn't the end of the world and it could be fixed with a few lines of code from our IT engineer.

Other than that, we needed to buy a remote assistant tool since that was a feature we've had on Jumpcloud, which Kandji lacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

"Easy to use and it does its job perfectly"
What do you like best about Iru?

The ease of setting up an instance and starting with the management of devices is exceptionally well delivered by Kandji. During the onboarding phase one receives great support from account managers and designated technical specialists, so that one doesn't need to make compromises in one's planned deployment. Additionally, the customer support, reachable super easy via chat, is always quick and helpful – all my questions were addressed timely and successfully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

At this stage I haven't experienced any downsides yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Makes administering Macs easy"
What do you like best about Iru?

Kandji allows us to set up different kinds of Apple devices for different purposes, ensure they stay secure, and keep track of them. It is simple and easy for support staff to work on and check on the process of enrolment and installation too, as well as giving them the tools for supporting other staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

I wish that the Kandji blueprints had some more options for conditions and exceptions, and that when there are problems that the feedback was more detailed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great product, Superb people, but even better experience!"
What do you like best about Iru?

One of the most valuable aspects of Kandji is the customer service and the personal connection I feel with the company. It never feels like I’m interacting with a distant, faceless product. Instead, I associate real names and genuine personalities with the platform.

When I reach out to support, I’m speaking with a real person—not a bot or AI. I receive thoughtful emails and have Zoom conversations with team members who not only solve issues but also share a bit about themselves, like what they did over the weekend. These personal interactions make Kandji feel less like just a tool and more like a team I trust and enjoy working with.

They consistently follow up when I need assistance, which reinforces that reliability. If I could offer one piece of advice, it would be this: continue evolving the product and staying ahead of industry trends—but never lose the human touch that sets Kandji apart. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

Dislikes? Honestly, nothing at the moment. I might have mentioned the browser-based chat window in the past due to occasional glitches, but that’s already been resolved—so no complaints there.

That said, I would really appreciate more comprehensive training or guidance when new features or products are rolled out. Sometimes a release will pop up, and I find myself wondering, “What is this? How does it work? Why would I use it?” Eventually, I figure it out when I have the time, but having proactive tutorials or short walkthroughs explaining the purpose and functionality of new additions would be incredibly helpful. A bit of tutoring around new rollouts—especially the “why” behind them—would go a long way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use interface that makes Mac management that much easier!"
What do you like best about Iru?

Kandji is very easy to learn the system that makes configuration and deployment that much easier. The interface for setting up restrictions and pushing apps is very simple to use and makes the experience of using that much better. Customer service is extremely responsive even with the most difficult issues that you present them. Integrating with other platforms are extremely easy and makes using the platform daily a pleasure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

One of the most frustrating things about using the apps is sometimes the updates and apps fall a little behind other platforms. Such as Apple Intelligence restrictions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
