What do you dislike about Snipe-IT?

It doesn’t have an agent that can push an asset’s hardware, warranty, and software information into Snipe-IT. There’s a company named Network Architeks that is currently trying to close that gap with a product named Snipe Agent. Google it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Asset Management, It's Free!"

What do you like best about Snipe-IT?

I like its audit deadline setting, which allows you to meter the asset usage and audit it when the time comes to ensure that it's still in good condition and is still in compliance with our standards. I like the fact that it's a free and open source solution, and you can run it at no cost for unlimited assets and users, which is rare for ITAM tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Snipe-IT?

We have researched a lot and we came across Snipe-IT and we found that this is the best software currently in the market which made asset management so smooth and easier. And this also provides a barcode scanner and generates the label as well so that we can tag the assets perfectly. What do you dislike about Snipe-IT?

We usually do not get the notification about the dual asset holders in the organizations and license expiration notification as well. These both should be deployed in this software as it can give a wide clarity of the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Snipe-IT solving and how is that benefiting you?

Earlier we were facing hardships while managing the IT Assets and Allocation data of the assets i.e. which user is having which asset and how many assets. So, after deployment of the Snipe-IT, we have overcome these problems and it is benefiting the organization as well as it records and manages the data very well. Snipe-IT is a very straightforward solution for asset management. It doesn't take much training to be able to manage as an administrator. I've used the Annual Hosted option, which is only $400 per year, so it's very cost-effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
