The customization of Asset Panda really allows you to cater to your personalized needs. The standard setup is great already, but being able to tweak things to refine it for your own purposes and objectives are truly what makes it so simple and easy to use. And if I ever get stuck trying to create an additional feature, I know I can rely on the strength of Asset Panda's technical support team to guide me in the right direction. The only downside that I can think of is trying to streamline and simplify the almost sandbox-like means of utilizing Asset Panda can be a little daunting. So there are some uses that may occasionally feel added in and difficult to trim off to pare down the usage of Asset Panda to exclusively what is needed, but that's only a minor inconvenience at most. I use Asset Panda to manage inventory of laptops and monitors, and I find it great for importing serial numbers into the system, sorting, labeling, and identifying asset types. I like its ease of use, user interface, and screen layout, which make it powerful and capable. I appreciate the ability to connect to Azure to sync resources like users and devices. The screens are easy to navigate without endless clicking and searching. Besides the fantastic software, the team is incredibly helpful, responsive, friendly, and personable. I really like the ease of use and simplicity of Asset Panda. It's simple to configure and administer without needing to be an IT technician. Another big selling point for us is the mobile app, which represents everything from the desktop or web portal, making it easy for people in the field to use. I also appreciate the ability to create our own asset tags using their preset labels. We can design the asset tags, using a simple designer, add a QR code with our logo, and it makes reassignment easy. The platform's functions and triggers to automate tasks, updating assets and changing status based on certain actions, are quite handy. I find the asset tag labels setup a bit tricky because they're limited to just two formats. This can be a hindrance when I want to use a different style of label, like creating a giant label, since I can't select from other popular label formats like those from the Avery list on Word. It would also be great if Asset Panda could accommodate an employee tracker application, though I realize it might not be intended for that. I love using Asset Panda to keep our assets organized and efficiently manage upgrades. The ability to track the location, age, and assignment of laptops is invaluable. I particularly appreciate how quickly I can sort data to identify which employee has the oldest laptop, which helps streamline our replacement process. The reports and data extraction features are exceptional, providing deep insights into our asset inventory's status. They are beneficial because they not only help manage the lifecycle of our assets but also facilitate the re-purchase process and contribute to maintaining cash flow at the end of an asset's life. I find that entering assets into Asset Panda is tedious and slow. I would love if all I had to enter for the information of the laptop would be the serial number, with the rest being filled in automatically from the manufacturer's support website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find Asset Panda's setup process exceptionally straightforward, which made it easy for me to start using the system efficiently. I find the lack of integration with key tools like Jamf and Google Workspace quite limiting. This restricts my ability to automate workflows and efficiently gather information across platforms. Additionally, I wish Asset Panda could share user names and emails linked to specific assets by tracking sign-in logs, which would significantly enhance tracking and management capabilities. Figuring out how to do some of the reports and setting up the dashboard with the information we wanted was a little cumbersome in the beginning. The training sessions were good but the Asset Panda reps went a little fast when showing us how to do everything. Overall there isn't really anything we dislike.
