We can design the asset tags, using a simple designer, add a QR code with our logo, and it makes reassignment easy. The training sessions were good but the Asset Panda reps went a little fast when showing us how to do everything. Putting all of our asset data into the system was about as expected and some of the management features we used worked. **What do you dislike about Asset Panda?** There is no way to get your asset data out via download or export, only by generating reports (pdf, csv), and you can only get reports via email (no download option). When we weren't receiving any of their reports via email, they told us our issue was out of scope for their technical support and gave us instructions on how to reset our user passwords. This basically makes the whole platform useless. For over $2K a year, we would expect to at least be able to create a .csv file correctly and actually get access to it. **What problems is Asset Panda solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a high-tech service business, and were tracking field tech equipment from trucks to laptops and phones to technical equipment across our fleet and service department. ### 18. This differs greatly from most of the asset management software available on the market today, as typically the user is expected to conform to in-built processes with limited customization. With Asset Panda you can build the software around the business rather than the business around the software. **What do you dislike about Asset Panda?** The downsides to using Asset Panda are limited and relatively trivial. The dashboard feature could use some tweaking as it is far from comprehensive and although the interface is reasonably aesthetic and functional it could use a bit of a facelift. **What problems is Asset Panda solving and how is that benefiting you?** Asset Panda is solving the problem of having to rewrite procedures and redevelop business practices to fall more in line with a software's capabilities. Since there was so much to understand they knew what questions to ask and how to guide us to our best configuration. While they were very attentive to our needs, they also were effective in guiding us along the right paths, so we didn't get sidetracked in how we configured the system or too bogged down with things we would eventually learn didn't matter. **What do you dislike about Asset Panda?** One small thing. it is web-based which is awesome, but the web page times out too quickly for my preference. **What problems is Asset Panda solving and how is that benefiting you?** tracking our Assets. Computers, Monitors, AV equipment, and some facility equipment. It also would work great as a check-out system, but we really don't need that now. With our Assets we are tracking where they are, who they are assigned to and the lifecycle of the device. The reporting system is quite robust and is only limited by my ability to define the exact report we need. ### 20. We wanted to change from Cheqroom, which is a good solution but wanted to get more customization. During the onboarding, they have realized, that we need more than they could provide us. This is also a positive thing, that they have recognized, this is not possible with their solution. **What do you dislike about Asset Panda?** After when we have discussed, the solution, what they could provide us is not enough for us, they promised, they will refund the cost of the license... 1 year ago... I have no answer for my e-mails... 1 year ago. I won't recommend them; or for first, they have to do the implementation and they have to prove the solution is the right one for you, then you can pay it. But they won't accept this condition I guess. So try another solution - this is my recommendation. **Recommendations to others considering Asset Panda:** Well, if they do something wrong or if they provide incorrect information, they have to refund the cost of the product. Biggest benefit is using the app on phones or pads and not having to worry about getting to a computer view inventory. ### 28. I haven't found anything I dislike. Features are crazy customizable, which is fantastic - we've been able to mold the system to be what we need it to be, rather than change our procedures to match the program's capabilities. **What do you dislike about Asset Panda?** If I had to nitpick, if I could upload pictures faster on mobile, that'd be awesome. Right now, it's one at a time, and takes like 10-20 seconds. I've taken to doing everything on the desktop site - so much faster. **Recommendations to others considering Asset Panda:** Do it. They've been great. **What problems is Asset Panda solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have hundreds of assets split between 12-15 jobsites and 5-8 people, and they like to disappear. Firstly, the software offers a free trial wich is an excellent way to see if you like it, test its features, and really get a good look at the software to see if its a good fit for your business. Another thing I like is that it offers good features for a startup business, such as inventory tracking, document management and tax management.n **What do you dislike about Asset Panda?** One thing that is a little unsettling is if your business has assets to record before 2005, Asset Panda won't work, as it starts tracking assets in 2005. Another thing is that it supports a yearly membership payment schedule, which not all businesses can afford. **What problems is Asset Panda solving and how is that benefiting you?** I find its much easier to manage assets if they are all recorded in one place, and Asset Panda does this. I've dealt with a lot of companies in the past trying to determine what would be the best fit at getting an asset management system in place that would work for our needs. Shelby and the rest of the team at Asset Panda not only showed me how the system would work for our needs, they've been actively taking our feedback and making the tool work even better for our system. It's been very reassuring that I know if I encounter a bug in the system, I can pick up the phone and have someone take down the issue and know that it'll be fixed in a future build. **What do you dislike about Asset Panda?** My only complaint is that the system is a work in progress. Everything we need is not currently in the system, but whenever I find something that would be helpful, I can reasonably expect it's something that they'll add in at some point down the future. **Recommendations to others considering Asset Panda:** I would highly recommend giving the system a try. If you want to see how it would work in your environment, call the company and have them do a demo with you. **What problems is Asset Panda solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're solving the problem of keeping track of our assets that get shipped around from office to office. Previously this was done by recording everything in excel sheets and sending it to someone that had a master sheet. Using the cloud-based system with barcodes saves us an enormous amount of time and keeps everything up-to-date.
