# What is the best tool for sending bulk promotional messages on WhatsApp?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I’ve been researching WhatsApp marketing tools recently (mostly through G2 reviews and comparison reports) because my mom's small business company is looking for a reliable way to send bulk promotional messages without running into delivery headaches. The landscape is a bit confusing since some tools are very WhatsApp-focused, while others are bigger customer engagement platforms that happen to include WhatsApp as a channel. Here’s what I’ve found so far from <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/whatsapp-marketing">G2 </a>now:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/insider/reviews"><strong>Insider:</strong></a><strong> </strong>Seems to be the powerhouse overall. It’s more than just WhatsApp—it’s a full customer engagement suite with advanced personalization and automation. From what I’m seeing, it’s great if you’re scaling and want to do more than just blast messages.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/wati/reviews"><strong>Wati:</strong></a> Probably the most popular for WhatsApp-first campaigns. Reviews say it’s easy to use, affordable, and built specifically for bulk promotional messaging. Feels like the go-to if WhatsApp is your primary channel.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/webengage/reviews"><strong>WebEngage:</strong></a> Another engagement platform with strong segmentation and retention features. It’s not as WhatsApp-specific as Wati, but it does integrate WhatsApp campaigns into broader workflows.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/respond-io/reviews"><strong>respond.io:</strong> </a>Gets a lot of love for managing conversations at scale. Seems strong for teams handling high-volume WhatsApp messaging and customer support across multiple channels.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/whatsapp-business-platform/reviews"><strong>WhatsApp Business Platform</strong></a><strong>:</strong> The official option, but it looks pretty barebones unless paired with another tool for automation and campaign management.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/moengage/reviews"><strong>MoEngage</strong></a><strong>, </strong><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/clevertap/reviews"><strong>CleverTap</strong></a><strong>, </strong><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/braze/reviews"><strong>Braze</strong></a><strong>,</strong><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/netcore-customer-engagement-and-experience-platform/reviews"><strong> Netcore</strong></a><strong>:</strong> These lean more into omnichannel marketing/automation. They cover WhatsApp, but their focus is bigger-picture customer engagement, not just promotions.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Also seeing other options like Bravo, Gupshup, etc. </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Has anyone here tested a couple of these side by side? Which one do you actually trust for sending bulk promotional campaigns without getting flagged or hitting deliverability issues?</p>

For bulk promos specifically, Wati made the most sense to us
kept things simple and we didn’t have to worry much about delivery or setup getting messy

In my experience, Insider and WebEngage are powerful, but they make more sense if you’re running multi-channel campaigns, not just WhatsApp blasts.

We’ve also seen better results for our brand when using WhatsApp for segmented campaigns rather than bulk sends. The deliverability improves when messages feel more personalized.

GetGabs: One of the platforms that’s very focused on WhatsApp marketing itself. It’s built around the official WhatsApp Business API and allows businesses to run bulk broadcast campaigns, automate conversations, and track campaign analytics from one dashboard.
It feels similar to Wati in terms of use case—simple campaign management, automation, and segmentation—so it’s worth considering if your primary need is promotional broadcasts.

GetItSMS: This one is slightly different because it combines WhatsApp and SMS marketing in the same platform. That can be helpful for businesses that want fallback messaging or want to run campaigns across both channels. It also uses the official WhatsApp Business API for secure delivery and compliance.

Messagedly: Another tool in the WhatsApp marketing category. It includes bulk message broadcasting, shared team inbox, chatbots, and Click-to-WhatsApp ads, so it sits somewhere between a marketing automation tool and a customer conversation platform.

Insider: More of a full customer engagement suite rather than a WhatsApp-only tool. It’s powerful for personalization and cross-channel campaigns but can be heavy if your only goal is WhatsApp promotions.

Wati: Probably the most popular WhatsApp-first platform right now. It’s designed specifically for WhatsApp campaigns and is widely used by SMBs for broadcasts and automation.

WebEngage: Strong lifecycle marketing and segmentation platform. WhatsApp is included, but it’s mainly meant for broader retention campaigns across email, push, and other channels.

respond.io: Best known for managing conversations across multiple messaging apps. Great for teams handling high volumes of customer chats while still running WhatsApp campaigns.

WhatsApp Business Platform: The official API option. Reliable but pretty barebones—you usually need tools like the ones above for campaign automation and easier management.

MoEngage, CleverTap, Braze, Netcore: These are bigger omnichannel marketing platforms. They support WhatsApp but focus more on full customer engagement rather than just promotional broadcasts.

&lt;p&gt;I feel like the real challenge isn’t just finding a tool, but making sure messages actually get delivered at scale without hurting compliance or getting flagged. Has anyone found a setup that balances volume with reliability?&lt;/p&gt;
