Easy to integrate. Good UI/UX. **What do you dislike about GridBuddy Connect?** Daily downtime, untrained support that is also incredibly hard to get time with, random data mismatch issues between Salesforce and Gridbuddy Connect without any rhyme or reason which happens sporadically, making it impossible to trust what you're seeing on the grid. After all of the problems we've had, they never even got us in front of a product manager. Avoid at all costs. **What problems is GridBuddy Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allowing our agents to view and modify data with ease. No longer the case as the data sync issues make it so you cannot trust what you see on the grid(s). ### 2. In the past eight months, we have experienced 5 instances of downtime which greatly impacted our business operations. The support we received from GridBuddy was terrible. They lied to us about having "world class support" and ended up outsourcing it to India, despite promising to hire support in Florida. Our contacts within the company, including the Director of Sales and Sales Manager, were either fired or left their positions. I would not recommend GridBuddy to anyone in the real estate industry or any other industry that requires consistent and reliable software. The constant downtime and lack of support make it a poor investment for any company. **What problems is GridBuddy Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Conditional formatting for Salesforce data, but it's not benefiting us when it goes down every month. ### 3. Allows users to edit and create records inline and view multiple levels of data in one view. Has greatly supported user adoption and we're always finding new ways to use it. Fantastic, personal support. **What do you dislike about GridBuddy Connect?** We have experienced a few glitches (related to record types or having to enter in system fields) but the GridBuddy team has always responded quickly and worked with us to resolve these issues, if not immediately in an upcoming release. **Recommendations to others considering GridBuddy Connect:** Will take some effort to learn the tool and configure the grids. **What problems is GridBuddy Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use GridBuddy tabs instead of listivews and related lists. This allows users to filter, group/sort, edit and add data inline. We primarily use the tool for tracking program participation/attendance. ### 4. Being able to input data into the Grid and upon saving it automatically updates our fields in Salesforce in real-time.Save a lot of time for data entry. I also love how responsive the support team at Validity. They are amazing. The quick response they provide in troubleshooting any issues that may occur. They also provide great resources if/should the issue arise again for another user in the organization. **What do you dislike about GridBuddy Connect?** The new look of the Grid that's embedded into our web page. It's clunky and takes up more space than the previous Grid Legacy we installed and used before the implementation of Gridbuddy Connect. I also dislike that you have to open another link to see changes made to the Grid filters instead refreshing and your changes reflected. I also experience a huge delay with entering notes into the Grid fields and saving. As I had previous use this tool to take notes in meetings. I was unable to do so with Grid Buddy Connect. With the amount of time it took to save one field I wasn't able to keep up with the meeting and had to switch to an excel document. **What problems is GridBuddy Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to update our fields in SF on Mulitple records in real-time. This saves us a ton of time from navigating record to record. ### 5. Our business relies on consistent and regular contact with our customers. As such each click of a button in salesforce, and the short nut stacking seconds lost become the difference between serving many more customers each day and getting to them quicker. Grid buddy had allowed us to make more outbound calls to our customers and document that interaction in real time while organizing follow-ups concurrently. and saving and updating in mass. it has simply transformed salesforce from a difficult and tedious user interface (suitable flor other business, but not ours) to one that feels like a viable tool that we simply cannot be without. **What do you dislike about GridBuddy Connect?** Nothing immediately noteworthy, Im sure there is a few niggles, but the team at validity has always been there to support us through those hurdle. **What problems is GridBuddy Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Salesforce, which we had already invested in, was simply not suitable in its given state, and we needed to make it work. Gridbuddy transformed the interface and made the entire experience a suitable and viable solution after-all. Without Gridbuddy, salesforce was a chore to use in our multi platform setup. ### 8. With both the flat view and hierarchical view as options, the grid can be configured to best meet users' needs. For instance, if a user is most familiar with a tabular Excel view, the flat view can be very helpful. The tabbed view is also a great way to organize data. It provides an easy to navigate view of data with different filters. By embedding grids on a parent record, it also enables users to edit child objects on the same page. This decreases the number of clicks needed to achieve a task. **What do you dislike about GridBuddy Connect?** In our GridBuddy implementations, some of the grids load slowly, which has been raised by end users. Since data is not auto saved in the grid, there is the potential that data is lost if the page is accidentally refreshed. It would be useful to have an auto-save or restore option. **What problems is GridBuddy Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used AppBuddy to provide a grid on a parent record to create multiple line items at once. This is meant to simulate lines in Excel as a user is testing a product. The quality control items are tracked and easily updated in the grid. ### 13. It sometimes becomes difficult to go through number of data you are looking at times. App slows down as well. But this is not something to worry about if you are not surrounded by too much of data. I would prefer it for sales team and order management teams. **Recommendations to others considering GridBuddy Connect:** AppBuddy is an interesting application if you have are an SME or want to manage a sales unit. If you have multiple teams, you can use this to manage one of the teams or each team can use this individually so that the load is distributed. **What problems is GridBuddy Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have implemented it for the sales team where there are a lot of people involved in the conversation with a client. This helps each participant to know what other had talked about and can discuss the upcoming phases of a project. It also helped our project manager to keep an eye on the team and save time in identifying issues if any. AppBuddy's use as lead management platform is cool as well. Specially when we have a large lead generation teams. What best I found is the removal of duplicate leads and resource wise reports. Even if nothing else, you can use these feature for sure. ### 19. App is also slow and needs to improve its User Interface. **Recommendations to others considering GridBuddy Connect:** If you're a small or large enterprise business you'll be able to use this because it adapts well at scale. It's fairly easy to use compared to other products, and will be a big time saver for managing lead generations from start to finish. As mentioned, since AB is great for large companies, you can really have the individuals on your team distribute the load evenly. **What problems is GridBuddy Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** The sales team is going to be mostly impacted by this because of the vast amount of conversations being conversed. When our reps need to update their funnel, it is super easy to update all opportunities in one location. No need to open a bunch of tabs or pages within Salesforce.com. It is simple to do and our sales reps are very easily adapted to it.
