What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like most the automation part and the freedom it provides to the clients, allowing us to use it the way the company intends for the customer. The analytics part is pretty simple and easy to use and visualize. The automation combines trigger, segmentation, recurring, and real-time features with a lot of channels available for us, letting us easily use more than 20 types of automations in our CRM. What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

The main problem that doesn't work as well is that SAP Engagement Cloud is so online-focused. There are a lot of cool features that are only intended to work with online info, which limits a company that works both with online and physical sales. Features like price drop, predict recommendation, and product interest just work for online interactions, limiting the number of customers we could impact or the info we could use. I find SAP Engagement Cloud very easy, user-friendly, and fast. I like its user-friendly interface and how it allows things to get done faster than our previous system. The AI analytical tool is great for easy access to performance data, and I appreciate the engagement event segment builder which is excellent for creating specific segments without needing a template. It's not as easy to see where the segments are used - campaign or digital ad. Only when you click delete, you can have an overview. You cannot delete segments within the segment either. I like the ease of integration of SAP Engagement Cloud with third-party systems. They make it very simple to integrate both systems in just a few minutes, allowing me to share my database quickly and very easily. This includes integrating SmartSys with various channels like the web, making everything very fast and easy to accomplish. I like how flexible SAP Engagement Cloud is. It's really important to use all the data we have about customers to understand their behavior and make the right choices. SAP Engagement Cloud provides a lot of tools that help us in this process and supports integrations with almost all of our systems. I appreciate the relational data and segments, which allow us to integrate our systems and make informed choices before sending campaigns. I really think that SAP Engagement Cloud should make it possible to search customers by document using the magnifying glass. Sometimes we need to find a specific customer and don't have their email, so we have to search by the document (like the CPF in Brazil). I really like the extensive scope of features offered by SAP Engagement Cloud. It allows me to do pretty much anything from personalization to retargeting, helping me reach customers at the right time with the right message. I find the segment builder particularly valuable, as it lets me choose exactly which triggers, like certain behavior or browsing a specific category, lead to targeting. Setting up SAP Emarsys has proven to be quite demanding, especially when it comes to integrating Emarsys with our existing SAP legacy platform and configuring several test accounts. Furthermore, the SDK we adopted was not technically mature, which made the process even more challenging. I feel that the SDK documentation could be more comprehensive, as it currently lacks sufficient detail. In addition, I think the technical support could be more responsive and helpful. I think sometimes it glitches, especially when we create campaigns in bulk. I also feel they could introduce more programs, like loyalty programs and better subscriptions.
