"Intuitive UI with Robust Email Automation"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like that SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys) is very intuitive and has a user-friendly UI, making it easy to use and understand, even for new commands. The platform makes it straightforward to manage data and set up automations. I appreciate that creating email campaigns is easy, even for someone without an HTML background, thanks to the drag-and-drop functionality and customizable templates. The automation setup is also intuitive, allowing for detailed decision-making processes. The price point and positive reviews from other teams also played a big part in choosing this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

The initial setup was a bit challenging, though we managed to get things up and running quickly after some effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dynamic journeys and effective targeting, with some hiccups in the flows"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like that SAP Engagement Cloud is very smooth and allows me to vary and start new processes. I can dynamically manage the different consumer purchase journeys, such as discovery, targeted purchases, repurchase, and loyalty, without interrupting those already started. I can also mix them, making the flow more dynamic and homogeneous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

Sometimes, while editing or configuring a flow or communication, the system reports errors or does not complete the processes correctly. An automatic synchronization that doesn't make me lose my work and allows me to resume it from where it was interrupted before the bug occurred would be useful. "Flexible Campaign Automation, but Setup and Diagnostics Need Work"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

We like how customizable SAP Engagement Cloud is and how we can use it for different needs, like winning back abandoned carts as purchases and running promotions. It keeps our user data as contacts so we can create campaigns around it, and we don't have to choose who to send marketing emails and notifications to. We also find the Automation Center and Journey Builder’s visual flowchart really helpful for designing meaningful automations, stacking conditions to decide on a trigger, and A/B testing different branches. It also has more capabilities than Infobip. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

SAP Engagement Cloud wasn’t easy to set up, and I had to make a lot of customizations. I still need to adapt and use more of its features, but data inconsistencies in our own system currently prevent us from doing that. Better logging of which email notifications went through SAP Engagement Cloud would also help me debug delivery issues faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automates Customer Journeys, Though Reporting Could Be More Flexible"

What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like the automation and segmentation features because they save us time and help us send more relevant messages. I also like setting up automated journeys and targeting customers based on their behavior. They reduce repetitive tasks and help us send timely messages based on customer actions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I wish reporting were more flexible, with customizable metrics and filters. I also think advanced features could be easier to learn, with short tutorials and practical examples. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Campaign Management, But Needs More Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I really like the ease of use with SAP Engagement Cloud. The VCE template builder is a fantastic feature, providing an easy drag and drop campaign builder from SAP Emarsys templates, which makes my work as a marketer much easier, eliminating the need for endless hours of grinding to change something as simple as a CTA color button. The campaign builder is equally impressive, allowing me to have a campaign ready to launch in just six consecutive steps. The automation center also adds to the overall functionality, making campaign execution smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I find the product API missing to be a huge problem, and engagement events have limited support. We are still missing critical social media channels like Snapchat native integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Marketing Automation with strong personalization capabilities"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like the powerful marketing automation, customer segmentation, omnichannel campaign management, and AI-driven personalization features of SAP Engagement Cloud. They make it easy to deliver targeted customer experiences efficiently. The automation significantly reduces manual work and saves time. The platform helps us target specific audiences based on behavior and preferences, and omnichannel campaign management allows us to coordinate consistent messaging across email, SMS, web, and mobile, which results in better customer engagement and campaign performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

The platform has a steep learning curve for new users, and reporting and analytics could be more flexible. I'd like more options to customize dashboards, easier report creation, and deeper real-time insights without relying on manual exports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Analytical Insights with Usability Gaps"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like the analytics feature of SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys), which gives me insights into my clients' behavior. It's valuable because my clients are not very digital, and the analytics provide a lot of information about their behavior. I also appreciate the automation programs that help with the platform's setup and assist in adapting to a B2B eCommerce environment. Additionally, cross-selling is important in B2B, and I find all these types of automation really useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I think the way you design the emails can be more easily to use. I don't have any idea about HTML and to do designs is difficult to me. I have to do online courses and to see webinars to understand the platform. We need more courses about the platform to adapt to a B2B e-commerce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Automations with a Learning Curve"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I think SAP Engagement Cloud is really useful in terms of segmentation and automations. Once you get used to how it works, creating those segments and automations becomes very valuable. They save a lot of time and add value to the actions and campaigns we launch. I also appreciate that it helps me have everything in one app. Additionally, the initial setup was really easy, and after some necessary training, everything went smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

My only issue is that it is not super intuitive when it comes to creating segmentations and automations and the design of campaign templates is really complex when there are apps like Canva that make it super easy and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Marketing Automation with Some Learning Curve"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like the powerful marketing automation and personalization capabilities of SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys). It makes it easy to create targeted, multi-channel campaigns based on customer behavior and preferences. I also appreciate the real-time analytics and audience segmentation. The seamless integration with other SAP solutions helps improve campaign performance and customer engagement. I find the platform delivers significant value through its automation and personalization features despite the initial learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

There are a few areas that could be improved. The interface can feel complex for new users, and some advanced features require a steep learning curve. Creating highly customized campaigns and reports can take additional time, and deeper integrations with some third-party applications could be more straightforward. Improving navigation and simplifying advanced workflows would make the platform even easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Comprehensive CRM & Marketing Solution"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I find SAP Engagement Cloud to be quite intuitive and easy to use. It's really helpful with segmentation and provides advice on how to improve campaign performance. Unlike previous tools like Mailchimp and a bespoke CRM app, which weren't user-friendly and had limited features, SAP Engagement Cloud has no limitations on the actions or activations I want to create from scratch. This makes it incredibly useful for storing contacts from my company's physical spaces network and impacting them through various email campaigns for events and marketing activations. The initial setup was easy, and other than migrating contacts and understanding the difference between a contact list and a segment, the rest was intuitive, allowing us to start creating campaigns right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

The only thing that does not really meet my expectations is the AI Analytics. It has happened to me that I have asked for concrete, complex analytics and it kept loading but never give me the results. But I understand this is something that can only improve with time.
