As a product, Anrok is mostly straightforward, and if you have any issues at all, they have an amazing support team. They're quick to respond, professional, and handle many state notices directly. It's also very easy to contact them! They also update their FAQ section regularly, with topical information regarding specific jurisdictions, which I've found very helpful.

The only issue I've ever had with Anrok is a delay on the new jurisdiction setup side. To be fair, there was an odd tech issue, but I would have appreciated a more timely follow up, as the issue was quickly solved by a call. Could have saved both of us some emailing!

We've been using Anrok for our sales tax filing and compliance needs, and it's been a smooth experience overall. The integration with our existing systems (QuickBooks and Rippling) was straightforward, which made implementation much easier than anticipated. The platform itself is intuitive and user-friendly. Once everything was set up, the automation handled most of the heavy lifting, which has saved our team considerable time. The onboarding process was well-structured, and their customer service team was responsive when we had questions. One minor quirk: when you void an invoice or transaction, the report shows the invoice amount as strikethrough but the tax liability still appears without the strikethrough. I really like the UI of Anrok. I was recently making journal entries, and having a clear split out between business and occupation and sales tax was very clear and helpful in ensuring accuracy in our reporting. Anrok makes sales tax compliance simple and reliable. We use it to manage all our tax jurisdictions, and it automatically alerts us to new exposures so we stay compliant in every state. It integrates seamlessly with our QBO invoices, automatically identifying whether each product is taxable or non-taxable and which states we’re subject to sales tax in. Their customer support team is excellent, they not only help with questions but also handle all of our tax notices and business license renewals, which saves us a ton of time. We recently encountered a minor issue where the sales tax for Illinois was calculated differently in QBO than it was on the Anrok platform. The Anrok team responded promptly and offered helpful suggestions, but the problem was not completely resolved, as part of it was related to our own internal processes. I appreciate how straightforward it is to register in different jurisdictions, and the user interface is very appealing. Our implementation process took only a few months and went quite smoothly. We successfully connected our APIs to our other systems to import Sales Tax data. I also find it much more accurate than our previous software, which gives me greater peace of mind about our compliance. The only drawback I’ve found with Anrok is that it doesn’t allow us to void transactions directly within the system. Instead, we have to process voids through the original transaction, which can occasionally be challenging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've used numerous different tax tools, but Anrok's support has been invaluable while mitigating tax liabilities and going through the VDA process, they regularly help me unlock tax accounts, get setup, and everything else is very hands off. They make sales tax a breeze while also providing the technical support I need.

What I appreciate most is how seamlessly it synchronises with Stripe and how user-friendly the experience is. Uploading tax certificates is straightforward, thanks to its smooth integration with Stripe, and it even processes refunds automatically when a certificate is detected. I've loved how easy Anrok is to operate once its completely set up and integrated. The team was very helpful as far as integrations and data input into the software. After that, I only have to open the software about once a month in order to perform our month end reconciliation, or as needed to get any new jurisdictions registered for our sales tax collection.
