What do you like best about Orb?

- We have better agiility and flexibility with our pricing in market and in enterprise deals because we know we can easily handle changes to our pricing model in Orb.

- Orb is the source of truth for all of our invoicing. It makes it easy to understand which invoices are still outstanding for accounts receivable operations.

- The Orb team is fantastic. They respond quickly to feature requests and support questions.

- We use Orb daily to check on usage bills and to create new subscriptions for enterprise customers. It was easy to initially integrate and ongoing implementation is a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Orb?

- When we first connected to QBO there were a few hurdles to overcome. This was more a function of QBO usability. The Orb team was great and helped us through those. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Orb?

Orb enabled us in introducing our new pricing and billing strategy for our cloud product.

Despite having a dedicated billing team to manage our usage-based billing scenarios, we faced numerous challenges earlier. Leveraging Orb to help with our billing and pricing allowed us to redirect our top engineers to focus on other critical aspects of our product.

In our evaluation process, we also considered Metronome, another good product. However, Orb stood out for several reasons for our needs:

Stronger endorsements from customer reference calls that we did and additional insights we got from our own network back channels.

They did a better job to address our accounting anomalies and edge case scenarios, which are unique to our business.

Orb's licensing model offered generous usage limits, and was more advantageous for us compared to Metronome's fixed fee plus variable costs model.

Orb also provided support for dynamic custom SQL rules, which address our critical need for dynamic vCPU-based allowances in metering and pricing—a capability that Metronome lacked and we dint get a clear picture of the roadmap commitments for it.

Orb initially had gaps in their SFDC integrations and some API limitations, but they quickly demonstrated prototypes during our evaluation and delivered the solution promptly upon us becoming their customer, they worked with us closely to incorporate our requirments .

Our experience with Orb has been positive so far. While we have not yet launched into production, we have have gone through a rigourous set of testing and QA and we expect the golive to be seemless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Orb?

Before Orb, our team struggled to implement flexible usage-based billing, forcing us to rely on manual processes that wasted a lot of time.

The integration was relatively easy, and our engineering team was impressed by Orb's documentation and responsivenes throughout. From the Finance side, we've found it easy to configure custom metrics and plans as add new products or sign new deals. We've saved tons of time, both by having flexible, automated billing, and from not having to dedicate engineering resources after setup.

Orb's customer support has also been amazing - they're super quick to respond, both for bug fixes and for net-new feature requests to continue to make the platform more powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
