"Minimalist Yet Powerful—Superhuman Mail’s AI Makes Email Fast and Efficient"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

Superhuman Mail sets a new minimalist standard for email clients. Even with its clean, simple UX, it still feels remarkably capable—genuinely powerful. I’ve used it on and off over the past few years, and when I signed up again recently, I noticed that new AI functionality had been added. That feature has already saved me a ton of time.

I’m one of those people who keeps important information in emails for years, and for the first time, Superhuman Mail’s AI tools let me quickly find and analyze that stored data. That alone makes the product worth using for me. On top of that, it also makes my day-to-day email processing much more efficient. Faster, more efficient email with a great UX—what more could a contemporary professional ask for? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

There isn’t much to dislike about Superhuman Mail, but there is a bit of a learning curve. To get the most out of this product, it helps to take the time to learn the keyboard shortcuts and the workflows built into it, since they’re designed to make everything feel much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, High-Performance Email with Smart Sorting and Keyboard Shortcuts. Big time saver."
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

Sorting of incoming emails into categories that I can process differently. Speed of keyboard shortcuts and overall performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

Biggest issue, and one that stops me using Superhuman for my business email account is that there is no preview panel for emails. I need to be able to use a keyboard down arrow to go down the list of new emails and read the email without having to go into it.

I receive a large number of monitoring emails and the simple action of having to enter the email and then exit is one step too many.

I've also found that Superhuman struggles with my business email account as I have over 100,000 historical emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pia Regio of Superhuman Mail

Hey, Steve 👋🏻 thanks a ton for this honest feedback!

It's definitely helpful, and I've made a note about your thoughts to share with the team 📝 We know those workflow details really matter, especially when you’re processing a high volume of messages.

On the categorization side you mentioned for your personal inbox: you may find it useful to know that you can access categories like Marketing, News, Social, and Pitch from the left area of the app. If you use the left arrow to move over, you’ll see those sections and can quickly scan emails that Superhuman has grouped there, which can make reviewing and deleting a lot faster 🙌🏻

If there are other ways we can make Superhuman Mail even better for you, please let us know.

"Superhuman Mail Supercharged My Productivity and De-cluttered my Inbox."
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

Superhuman mail has been a serious game-changer for my productivity;

- I now routinely get to the bottom of my inbox rather then being swamped by mail because of the segregated inbox function where priority emails are always pushed to the top.

- I find great efficiencies with the AI search function where it can scan my inbox to answer contextual questions about an email I sent weeks or months ago.

- I really also love the clean look of their UI, far less cluttered and serene than my standard inbox view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

My only criticism is that at times I do find it hard to locate emails that may be seen as 'SPAM' and are auto-filtered by the tool away from my inbox... emails like those pesky one-time codes to access other online portals etc. BUt seriously, that's it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pia Regio of Superhuman Mail

Hey, Dallas — thanks a ton for this honest feedback!

It’s definitely helpful, and I’ve made a note about your thoughts on how spam filtering can sometimes make it tricky to find important emails like one-time access codes, and I’ll be sharing this with the team 📝

"Superhuman Mail: The Ultimate Productivity Booster for Email Management"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

Superhuman Mail is the ideal productivity tool. The clean interface reduces distraction, while the shortcuts are invaluable in speeding through email. Superhuman Mail allows you to customize the organization of your inbox so important emails are easily accessible and at the forefront. It integrates into my workflow easily, allowing me to check multiple email accounts and manage my calendar with ease. Superhuman Mail is a constant in my productivity workflow and something that I rely on multiple times each day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

There is nothing significant that I dislike about Superhuman Mail. There are times when I need to throw something on my calendar while I am in Superhuman, which requires some gymnastics if I am the only participant in the event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Achieved Inbox Zero Effortlessly with Superhuman"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

It really facilitates my ability to achieve "inbox zero" - and with the added capability of taking action on emails quickly with keyboard entries on the desktop or quick actions on the mobile. Directing less important emails to other folders or deferring them also helps greatly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

This is not so much an indictment of superhuman, but of us as humans, and the way we have been using email for years. I really had to rewire my brain before I could fully commit to being superhuman. Mainly, and this can be a barrier for most, if you use M365/Outlook in the organization. For a while, I had to be in both clients - now I am about 97% superhuman. With a super random need to open Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Never thought I’d pay for an email client - till i used Superhuman - totally worth it"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

Email reminders let you structure your tasks by tracking progress through emails: they clear out of your inbox, but reappear when you set a reminder. It’s a simple way to keep your inbox free from noise while still staying on top of what matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

It needs more email formatting options, such as the ability to highlight text in email replies and some basic font management. I’d also like a better way to control the panes, especially the right-hand pane, although I’m not sure there’s a better approach than what they’ve already designed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pia Regio of Superhuman Mail

Hey, Nick 👋🏻 thanks a ton for this feedback!

Adding more email formatting options and having better control of the panes does sound like it would streamline things quite a bit. A few folks have requested this previously, so I wouldn't be surprised if we build it down the line!

"Great Time-Saving Features, But Needs More Functionality"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

Superhuman offers a very user-friendly interface, making both sign-up and setup straightforward. It helps me save significant time by flagging important emails that require follow-up. My favorite feature is the AI auto-compose, which streamlines my workflow and further reduces the time I spend on email. I rely on Superhuman as my primary email client for both my personal Gmail account and my work email on Microsoft 365. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

The learning curve can be somewhat steep for those who are not accustomed to navigating email with the keyboard. It is not yet ready to serve as a primary or sole email client due to lacking some features found in Outlook and Gmail. For example, viewing emails that are sent as attachments can be challenging. Additionally, it does not manage diverging mail threads very well, particularly when you want to reply to a specific message within the thread.

I am also disappointed that SAML/SSO is available only on teams of size 25+ Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Critical to My Workflow, Exceptional AI Improvements"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

I use Superhuman Mail pretty much every single day, hundreds of times. It gets me through my inbox incredibly fast. The shortcuts and snippets are incredible. The AI has improved by leaps and bounds over the last year. Hats off to Raul and Gaurav, the team there—they've been amazing. Superhuman Mail is one of the best apps there is, and it's critical to my workflow. The onboarding service, when I first started, was amazing, though I don't believe they have it as high-touch anymore. Regardless, I've learned all the hot keys now. The initial setup was incredibly easy. I'm looking forward to trying out the Gamma integration too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

I think just in continuous improvements to AI, I think that's the future. And, making it more voice, using, maybe to write my emails in voice. I use the command key and in Apple, I don't use my keyboard anymore. So any improvements to voice would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pia Regio of Superhuman Mail

Hey, Tom 👋🏻

Thanks so much for sharing this feedback with us! I totally hear you on this. Being able to see continuous improvements to AI, especially with stronger voice capabilities so you can draft emails hands-free would be really handy.

Fortunately, we're planning to build out this ability in the near future. If you’d like to be updated on when we release this, please shoot us a note to hello@superhuman.com so we can close the loop 💫

"Supercharges Email Productivity with Ease"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

I like the paradigm that Superhuman Mail has developed. At first, it was a bit uncomfortable because I'm not used to working with email in this way, where it's basically one stream of consciousness in one pane where all your important emails flow into, and you handle them one at a time. But after a few days, it became super intuitive and I became super productive, especially using the keystrokes that Superhuman Mail has. It makes doing operations super fast. It's been extremely positive, and I just find it extremely well designed and easy to use. I'm very impressed by the intelligence Superhuman has when it comes to separating important emails from the not-so-important ones. The keystrokes make it very easy for me to compose an email, move an email to archive, and use the AI agent inside the editor or in the side panel. The interface, combined with the keystrokes, makes it super fast to go through my email every day. I think the AI that Superhuman uses has been trained very well. It's extremely efficient and accurate. Plus, it was extremely easy to set up and very easy to use. Once it was set up, Superhuman imported all of my email history, understood my tone, and how I communicate, which is really nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

I submitted a few bug reports. For example, when I'm using the AI assistant in the side panel to create a calendar event, the event gets saved on my calendar, but the panel still shows the email with options to cancel or save it, leading to confusion. I often end up with duplicate meetings scheduled at the same time. This is something in the user interface, user experience that needs to be corrected. Also, with the AI assistant, it would be nice to be able to add external context. Even though Superhuman uses my email history and calendar, it sometimes doesn't have full context. Adding a file upload feature for extra context when drafting emails would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pia Regio of Superhuman Mail

Hey, Tom 👋🏻 thanks a ton for this honest feedback!

It’s definitely helpful, and I’ve made a note about your thoughts on the calendar event duplication issue in the AI side panel, as well as your suggestion to add external context like file uploads when drafting with AI, to share with the team 📝

"Streamlined Email Management with Superhuman Mail"
What do you like best about Superhuman Mail?

I really like the minimal UI and keyboard shortcuts. These keep the email experience focused and efficient. I also really enjoy seeing the daily picture when I get to zero inbox. Consolidating all my inboxes in one place is such a nice experience. The minimal UI keeps me from getting distracted and puts important information up front. The keyboard shortcuts save me tons of time by keeping my hands on the keyboard so I can wiz through several actions quickly. The inbox consolidation allows me to quickly swap between inboxes with a keyboard shortcut so I don't have to switch browser tabs or tools. The messaging feature allows teammates to have conversations inline with the email thread without leaving the tool. The initial setup of Superhuman Mail was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Superhuman Mail?

I often cannot find what I am looking for when I use the search feature. If I'm looking for an email but don't know who sent it or when, even though I remember keywords, I rarely find it that way. There's a lot of noise from other emails that have been archived. I typically use the AI feature in search, which works better. It would be helpful to guide users to this AI search feature rather than the regular search bar to find what they are looking for quickly and with context. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Pia Regio of Superhuman Mail

Hey, Rich 👋🏻 thanks for the feedback, and apologies for the trouble with search!

To provide a bit of context, without the use of quotes, Superhuman prefers a less literal search in case you're unsure of the exact word or phrase.

If you do know the exact word or phrase, you can search for it verbatim by using quotation marks, so "here's a phrase" instead here's a phrase. This is still something we're fine-tuning, and I'll keep you in the loop as we make improvements here 💫

That said, it’s great to hear that Ask AI is already helping you navigate search, seeing it at work like this is exactly why we keep refining these tools.
