Also easily upgradeable. **What do you dislike about SmartConnect?** You lost the multi source data query capability you used to have prior to SC 21. Some errors such as when you have a connection in your list of sql connections when they fail they cause you to not see all connections. **What problems is SmartConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allows me to use one source such as a stored procedure to return both records for import into GP linked from Extender and yet to still use that record set for both current and historical data collection. Allows for quick deployment of API services as well which has been a lifesaver with a couple of clients. ### 2. The application has a user friendly interface, performs extremely fast for most use cases, and is priced competitively compared to other products available. In addition, one of the best features is the ability to add tasks that run before, after, or during the integration processing. These tasks can truly extend and add flexibility to how the product works. **What do you dislike about SmartConnect?** The on-premise installed version is similar to the cloud-based version, but there are differences in what the product can do and applications it can connect to. I've primarily used the product with Dynamics GP, so this requires the on-premise installed version of SmartConnect. **What problems is SmartConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?** SmartConnect allows businesses to import almost any kind of data into Dynamics GP, as well as newer ERP solutions like Business Central. There's no other Native GP Connector on the market that can be used directly with any data source for integration. It's particularly useful for someone using Dynamics GP. **What do you dislike about SmartConnect?** SmartConnect Logs are terrible; it is very slow to get older logs, and also searching for logs really takes so much time. There should be something like when a user runs a map manually, I should know who ran it. Also, loading logs takes so much time that it really frustrates our business team to look into the logs. It is not even mentioned as loading when loading logs; it is stuck. It's fairly easy to install and very easy to upgrade. The user interace is very intuitive and they offer a tremendous number of endpoints to integrate to/from. Also, their tech support is very good. I only contact them when I've tried everything I know to try. They are thoughtful, thorough and timely in their responses. **What do you dislike about SmartConnect?** The way me and my customers use SmartConnect, there are really just things I'd like to see improved. One would be the length of time integration logs are maintained. It's not bad, but I'd like to see at least 90 days. Also, the Global Variables concept is very clever, however there could be more documentation on how best to leverage this feature. Lastly, the web site is so-so. It used to be much more intuitive to me but an overhaul in 2023 or 2024 made it a bit more confusing to search their knowledgebase specifically. **What problems is SmartConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?** It enables my customers to send and receive data to/from a lot of different systems.
