Popdock integrates seamlessly with Business Central, allowing former Great Plains users to access the familiar SmartList Reports they relied on previously. Within Popdock, there are multiple areas to visit in order to ensure that users, security settings, lists, and connectors are all configured correctly for integration with the software. While the manual provides useful guidance and the support team is excellent, I have found myself missing some important setup steps because configuration options are spread across several different sections in Popdock. Popdock has proven to be a powerful and reliable tool for working with data across multiple enterprise systems. The product does an excellent job of consolidating information from various data sources and applications, making it much easier to build meaningful, unified views of business data.

One of the standout features for me is the ability to modify lists and perform joins and merges directly within Popdock. This flexibility significantly streamlines the process of creating consolidated datasets without needing complex development or middleware.

I was especially impressed with the widgets functionality. Being able to embed curated Popdock lists directly back into enterprise applications is extremely valuable and creates a much more seamless user experience. In my case, I needed to pull data from Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Microsoft Dynamics GP, merge them into a single list, create a widget, and then embed that widget into D365 Finance & Operations. Popdock handled this workflow very effectively.

There are a few UI limitations with the embedded widget, though these seem to be more related to D365 F&O constraints rather than Popdock itself. Despite that, the overall experience was very positive.

In summary, Popdock is a strong product with great capabilities for unifying, transforming, and embedding data. I would highly recommend it for organizations looking to bring together data from multiple systems in a flexible and user-friendly way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most is the simplicity and speed with which it analyzes business data. I appreciate that it allows me to easily view my attendance and work reports at a glance with a single message. I like how easy it is to use for tracking, and it provides comprehensive, detailed information. Popdock makes it easy to parse the information from Dynamics GP. The ability to setup tabs with predefined connectors makes it easy to navigate and understand the raw data being pulled. the ability to create lists similar to smartlists in GP. BC does not have this out of the box so Popdock has been great for giving us back a familiar feeling from GP which we used for 12 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

we initially had issues if we needed to update a an existing connector with data from a new sandbox. I am not sure if that is still an issue in the popdock website, but we still do seem to have a problem getting the lists to populate within the new BC environment itself. im submitting a ticket on that. the support from eOne is fantastic! As the title of my review conveys, Popdock is intuitive business intelligence.

Everyone needs to report on data.

Instead of learning a complex reporting tool, all you practically need to have is basic internet browsing experience even if only in an entry level business role! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Creates an easy way to solve so many issues:

- Solves issues without involving Dev team

- One Off reports for Clients can be created quickly

- Widgets allow for easy deliver of data to end users who often have zero technical skills and just want the report

- Connectors are relatively easy to setup

- Virtual Integration concept saves endless data storage and provides real time views of data across multiple applications

- Not really a feature, but a telling statement is there rarely is a day that I am not in Popdock solving a customer issue

As a relatively new product, it will have a few issues, the only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10. Does not detract from how great the product is

- Very large data sets sometime run into memory issues where you have to restrict the data

- The SQL Connector has some issues with certain data types that requires a workaround

- Smaller bugs like column sort orders saving
