Within Popdock, there are multiple areas to visit in order to ensure that users, security settings, lists, and connectors are all configured correctly for integration with the software. While the manual provides useful guidance and the support team is excellent, I have found myself missing some important setup steps because configuration options are spread across several different sections in Popdock. I really appreciate Popdock for its flexibility and being a cloud-based tool with great integration and reporting solutions. It’s an all-around wonderful tool, especially for its Smartlist capability which helps me access data from multiple sources. Popdock has proven to be a powerful and reliable tool for working with data across multiple enterprise systems. The product does an excellent job of consolidating information from various data sources and applications, making it much easier to build meaningful, unified views of business data.

One of the standout features for me is the ability to modify lists and perform joins and merges directly within Popdock. This flexibility significantly streamlines the process of creating consolidated datasets without needing complex development or middleware.

I was especially impressed with the widgets functionality. Being able to embed curated Popdock lists directly back into enterprise applications is extremely valuable and creates a much more seamless user experience. In my case, I needed to pull data from Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Microsoft Dynamics GP, merge them into a single list, create a widget, and then embed that widget into D365 Finance & Operations. Popdock handled this workflow very effectively.

There are a few UI limitations with the embedded widget, though these seem to be more related to D365 F&O constraints rather than Popdock itself. Despite that, the overall experience was very positive.

Popdock makes it easy to parse the information from Dynamics GP. The ability to setup tabs with predefined connectors makes it easy to navigate and understand the raw data being pulled. the ability to create lists similar to smartlists in GP. BC does not have this out of the box so Popdock has been great for giving us back a familiar feeling from GP which we used for 12 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

we initially had issues if we needed to update a an existing connector with data from a new sandbox. I am not sure if that is still an issue in the popdock website, but we still do seem to have a problem getting the lists to populate within the new BC environment itself. im submitting a ticket on that. the support from eOne is fantastic!
