What do you like best about ProShip?

What do you dislike about ProShip?

Honestly, we have experienced very few issues with ProShip. When something does arise, which is rare, their support team is quick to respond and resolves the problem efficiently and without any hassle. What do you like best about ProShip?

Proship offers multi-carrier shipping flexibility, providing companies with a wide range of parcel carriers to integrate with. The system is stable and experiences minimal downtime. It is capable of handling large shipping volumes and offers different solutions depending on the number of labels required. Additionally, Proship holds the necessary certifications with major traditional carriers, which simplifies the process of onboarding a new carrier by making it easier to obtain the required approvals to begin shipping. What do you dislike about ProShip?

There haven't been any new features or innovations released on an annual basis. As carriers continue to introduce more complexity into their contractual terms, it has become increasingly important to carefully balance the carrier mix in order to secure the best possible discounts. Although system downtimes are minimal, we have noticed that when support tickets are opened, the response times can vary significantly, regardless of the urgency of the issue. Many of our rules are highly customized to meet the constantly evolving needs of the business. As a result, upgrades tend to be more costly and take longer to implement than we initially expect. Additionally, the system requires a considerable amount of manual input from the business side, such as having to manually enter future holiday schedules from carriers to ensure the most current date shopping rules are applied. I really like the ability to compare all of our carriers and services against each other in real time. One of the biggest upsides of using ProShip is their reliability. We rarely encounter issues, but when we do, their prompt and effective responses help us get back up and running quickly — which is critical for meeting our SLAs. What do you like best about ProShip?

- Easy and fast process to create parcel shipments, get tracking, get freight amound

- Makes of the shippers much faster than standard ERP screens

What do you dislike about ProShip?

- Support, we have some customization developed by the engineering team on a project, but support for these developments is very poor

- Not a good knowledge transfer from Engineering to support, we have tickets pending with no resolutions in sight

- Very few possibility of talking to Support team, emails go back and forth with no resolution

I am very disappointed on the effort it takes to get anything resolved with Proship Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

These aren't so much negatives, but more things to be aware of. If you're a small volume shipper of Parcel, there are likely other systems that would meet your needs as to really master using ProShip, there can be a bit of a learning curve (for administration, not for operation). Additionally, if there is no "intelligence" in your shipping, meaning you will always know the exact carrier/service to ship with every time, then it may be a waste as ProShip thrives on intelligent decision making. What do you dislike about ProShip?

Our account manager and server desk team members are helpful and kind but not always quick to respond. Most company's using this product have the Supply Chain or Warehouse leader managing the software and we have little knowledge on the tech side. Would be nice to see how the gap can be bridged on the ProShip side. More consulting and technical IT support would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
