Honestly, we have experienced very few issues with ProShip. When something does arise, which is rare, their support team is quick to respond and resolves the problem efficiently and without any hassle. Overall, it’s difficult to find anything to complain about.

**What do you like best about ProShip?**

Proship offers multi-carrier shipping flexibility, providing companies with a wide range of parcel carriers to integrate with. The system is stable and experiences minimal downtime. It is capable of handling large shipping volumes and offers different solutions depending on the number of labels required. Additionally, Proship holds the necessary certifications with major traditional carriers, which simplifies the process of onboarding a new carrier by making it easier to obtain the required approvals to begin shipping.

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

There haven't been any new features or innovations released on an annual basis. As carriers continue to introduce more complexity into their contractual terms, it has become increasingly important to carefully balance the carrier mix in order to secure the best possible discounts. Although system downtimes are minimal, we have noticed that when support tickets are opened, the response times can vary significantly, regardless of the urgency of the issue. Many of our rules are highly customized to meet the constantly evolving needs of the business. As a result, upgrades tend to be more costly and take longer to implement than we initially expect. Additionally, the system requires a considerable amount of manual input from the business side, such as having to manually enter future holiday schedules from carriers to ensure the most current date shopping rules are applied.

**What problems is ProShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Proship enables us to compare shipping rates across various carriers, allowing us to select the most cost-effective options and optimal delivery times for our customers.

**What do you like best about ProShip?**

I really like the ability to compare all of our carriers and services against each other in real time. It is easy to use from the end user perspective which they use often and it was pretty easy to implement. The support team answers quickly when there are problems.

Reporting is hard to do out of ProShip directly.

**What problems is ProShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ProShip helped us rate our carriers and services against each other. Before people just chose a service and didn't exactly know how it benefited them. Now they have real time information. It also took the manual aspect out of most of our orders. Now the information flows from our ERP through ProShip. This eliminates the issues with addresses, weights, dimensions, etc being incorrect.

**What do you like best about ProShip?**

One of the biggest upsides of using ProShip is their reliability. We rarely encounter issues, but when we do, their prompt and effective responses help us get back up and running quickly — which is critical for meeting our SLAs. They also do a great job of proactively informing us about changes that may impact our organization, as well as sharing new opportunities that could benefit our operations.

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

There’s not much to dislike — our experience has been smooth overall. Any hiccups we’ve encountered in the past were addressed quickly and professionally, with a clear focus on supporting our goals and operational needs.

**What problems is ProShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ProShip handles all of our label printing across both of our fulfillment centers. In addition, it supports rate shopping to help us identify the most cost-effective shipping option that still meets our SLAs. The ability to configure this logic based on shipper, destination, and other variables has been extremely valuable to our operations.

- Easy and fast process to create parcel shipments, get tracking, get freight amound
- Makes of the shippers much faster than standard ERP screens
- Basic Proship functionality is easy, and gets the work done

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

- Support, we have some customization developed by the engineering team on a project, but support for these developments is very poor
- Not a good knowledge transfer from Engineering to support, we have tickets pending with no resolutions in sight
- Very few possibility of talking to Support team, emails go back and forth with no resolution
I am very disappointed on the effort it takes to get anything resolved with Proship

**What problems is ProShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Reduce time to create parcel and LTL shipments (minimum clikc)  - previous process with ERP was more tedius
- But support for specific features developed for our company is very poor

My favorite parts about ProShip are the endless customizations, ease of implementation, they're pre-integrated with tons of carriers, and their partnership approach to finding new solutions to help my business.

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

It's not the cheapest service you can find, but I think it's worth every penny. You get what you pay for as long as you make the most of it.

**What problems is ProShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ProShip is helping build a custom outbound network leveraging regional carriers while still keeping me within my national carrier spend bands. They do this by enabling me to control every bit of the rate shop. For example, I can zip code restrict certain services to only be used in short zones vs long zones to make sure I hit customer SLAs while also using ship methods that normally would be too slow.

ProShip is extremely scalable and allows for seamless integration to other supply chain systems. The support is very strong and can be configured for a wide variety of business requirements.

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

These aren't so much negatives, but more things to be aware of. If you're a small volume shipper of Parcel, there are likely other systems that would meet your needs as to really master using ProShip, there can be a bit of a learning curve (for administration, not for operation). Additionally, if there is no "intelligence" in your shipping, meaning you will always know the exact carrier/service to ship with every time, then it may be a waste as ProShip thrives on intelligent decision making.

ProShip is a reliable product, with a good team, and decent service

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

Our account manager and server desk team members are helpful and kind but not always quick to respond.  Most company's using this product have the Supply Chain or Warehouse leader managing the software and we have little knowledge on the tech side.  Would be nice to see how the gap can be bridged on the ProShip side.  More consulting and technical IT support would be nice.

**What problems is ProShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ProShip is our only shipping platform.  We have integrated it will Microsoft F&O for shipping our orders.  Has been a great solution for our business and helped to speed up our P/P/S processing times.

**What do you like best about ProShip?**

The flexibility of the system is what benefits us the most. The ability to customize shipping — not just by carrier and service level, but also by client, weight, and zone — is incredibly powerful. It allows us to fine-tune our logistics to meet diverse needs with precision. Additionally, the support that we receive at the engineering level is solid when it comes to adding additional functionality to the system. Some of this is custom to BDA yet, ProShip is able to accommodate most requests and roll out quickly.

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

Support documentation in some instances is difficult to navigate. Very minor though.

**What problems is ProShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tailoring shipping by client. We have over 80+ large clients that make up thousands of users who order from us. Each client has specific requirements on how we ship including 3rd party, collect, prepaid. Proship has also tailored international shipping by client not only for shipping outbound from the U.S. but also from our DC's in Canada, UK and Europe.

**What do you like best about ProShip?**

Prior to ProShip, we would hire a 3rd party small parcel specialists to review our carrier agreements before signing. We spent time and money making sure we weren't being hit with hidden fees and surcharges. When we went to a multi-carrier solution, the contracts wrote themselves.  ProShip determines the least expensive shipping option which forces the carriers to become more competitive with their discounts.  If rates increase or service levels are dropped without notice, we identify the changes in real-time.  More often than not, the carriers will come calling us to rewrite the agreement to ensure we continue to use their services.  As we continue to add carriers, we are seeing the cost savings impact our bottom line.

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

We have no issues with ProShip at this time.

The steady increase of shipping costs.

**What do you like best about ProShip?**

The product is very extensible and customizable to fit constantly changing demands. The development talent and organizational understanding within this space far outshines in actual "delivery" anything we've seen "promised" by their competitors. When we ask, they don't just listen, but ask clarifying questions to understand the scope of our vision, come alongside us and partner their expertise to get us "what we need, not just "what we initially asked" about. There is accountability rarely seen from "vendors" these days,  which is why I consider them a "partner". They are willing to take ownership and share ownership of challenges that inevitably come up in today's rapidly changing market, and work together on getting to the goal line (rather than wasting time playing the blame game).

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

Their documentation can admittedly be very technical and not friendly to non-nerds, but they do back that up with support and integrations teams that will help you "get there".

**What problems is ProShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They take the work out of dealing with multiple parcel carriers,  customer accounts, this pay billing,  rate shipping,  etc.

**What do you like best about ProShip?**

ProShip has provided seamless service, I don’t have to worry about too much on FedEx, UPS, or other carriers. ProShip will manage well on the latest version update.

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

Overall it’s good, because I rarely need to contact with ProShip. Sometimes, I tried to connect with ProShip professionals, it takes a while to find a right person. Well, it happened only 1-2 times, it’s okay.

Automated label printing, multi-carrier rating and selection, integration with other tools such as SAP.

Can involve a significant amount of customization and coding to work perfectly.

Diversification of the carriers used for small package shipping, cost savings by selecting low cost provider on each package, proactively knowing what we will spend on a package vs shipping blind, and automating processes to save time.

**What do you like best about ProShip?**

Strong multi-carrier support on par with all other providers on the market if not better, advanced automation and customization through batching, shipping rule configuration and rate shopping. Branded shipping label function is really great.

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

ProShip tends to be on the higher cost end versus other providers. Customer service is also a little slow to address issues when they crop up.

**What problems is ProShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing us a lite-TMS capability for our parcel shipping, rate shopping and strong rules based configuration to help us save money on parcel shipping.

**What do you like best about ProShip?**

The customization for the products and ease of use for all employees. The shipping software makes it easy to process shipments, ProShip office is used for all employees to review shipments, quoting, and logistics reporting.

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

Only issue we've had is during busy season reporting has to be smaller file sizes to download otherwise it takes longer periods. (This was fixed with a longer delay in the timeout period)

**What problems is ProShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ProShip is helping us to learn more about what we're shipping and to where. Makes it easy to run different reports based on carriers, destinations, and items in real time. The team is great at helping us create new additions to help with future goals

**What do you like best about ProShip?**

The ability to quickly and easily work with multiple carriers and optimize our ROI by using advanced features such as rate shopping has helped us grow while staying nimble.

Proship's customer support has come a long way since we first started working with them.  They are extremely responsive and able to quickly jump in and solve any problem we throw at them.

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

Lead time on resources can be long.  As an organization that likes to move rather quickly , having to wait over a month for available resources can really slow us down.

**What problems is ProShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling multi-carrier integrations and rate shipping between carriers.  We've seen a very high ROI from the work that we've done specifically with rate shopping.

The ability to customize to fit our needs.  The use of Business Rules is very beneficial.  

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

Customer service responses could be better.  Tickets sometimes stay open too long.  Documentation of previous work done is difficult to find.

Rate shopping is a major benefit that we are looking into using more.

**What do you like best about ProShip?**

Response times...the on premise nature of their service is far faster than any API service and this translates into faster response times at the printer and less latency/lost labor.  

The cost structure scales exceptionally well. For a large shipper like us, this translates into 6 figure savings annually relative to any Saas solution.

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

They can be slow to respond to carrier expansion requests.

**What problems is ProShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scalability and speed. They are the best provider we've been able to find for our needs.

They tried to create a solution that makes it easy for end users to create shipping labels and compare costs to send packages from their desktop.

If you have a lot of cost centers, they do not have the capacity to manage the complexity.

**What do you like best about ProShip?**

It can be customized, the software can usually accomplish any task needed.

**What do you dislike about ProShip?**

Their customer service is horrible. They refuse to think creatively or pro-actively and expect exact direction from their clients, even if the person they are working for dose not have enough technical knowledge to direct them. They are also very slow to respond and accomplish tasks. And their internal documentation and communication is non-existent. If a ticket is re-opened or another one is started that relates to a previous issue, I had to spend a lot of time explaining to the new technician what the previous one did.

**Recommendations to others considering ProShip:**

Have someone on staff that also understands the software so they can direct the programming and customization requests.

**What problems is ProShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shipping conference and training materials for associations world wide, both in fulfillment and srop ships.
